Clint is a awesome cook and very friendly. Edit: Went to this location again and there is a guy I've never seen before who acted like he owns the place, really down talked the girl that works there. Don't care to see it again.

This is my place to eat after a late night out with my buddies and it never disappoints me as they have great breakfast options! I usually order a meal that has eggs, waffles, sausages, and hashbrown. I enjoy sitting up front as you can watch a cooker cook your breakfast and every time we go, the waitress is always nice and attentive.

Bruce and his crew were on FIRE!! Great workers, served in a timely manner not one thing wrong with the food. Definitely the best Waffle House experience I've had.

This place is great. Even at 3am, they are busting tail, super friendly, cleaning, and cooking right in front of you. Nice to have that old diner feel. Food is good too. Not too many choices, like a 40 page IHOP menu, but if you want just a good simple breakfast, I'd rather eat here than any other place.

Great wait staff. This location has the BUZZ back! In last couple years even the food was not quality. Food is once again great quality and taste with perfect presentation. Our eggs were perfect. No grease on our bacon, Hash browns or patty melt. If you haven't been in awhile, go back. Run back. Excellent on all fronts.

I've lived in Rockwall for almost ten years and have never been in this location. What have I missed? This place was very clean, with very nice people waiting on guests, great service and the best waffles ever. The waffle was cooked perfect and the iced tea is killer! Every Waffle House I've been to has figured out that Iced Tea in Texas is seriously business and they takes theirs very seriously. They have their own private tea blend with their own personal name on it. It's the best. Highly recommend this location.

Five stars all the way! Not only was the food good, but the waitress payton was very attentive from the beginning. When we walked in she had the biggest smile. She's very clean in her service aswell✨️ always wiping and making sure the place is spotless... impressive!!! Not a lot of locations are as clean as this one.

This is my home Waffle House! Some servers have been there for ages and know their customers by name. It is wonderful to be recognized; they always go the extra mile to make everyone feel special. It’s like a warm hug every time I walk in!

I liked everything about it. I had a steak, not the biggest but it was tasty and well cooked. The waitress and other employees were terrific. I was there for Valentine's Day with my son. The ladies that helped me were beautiful in every way, kind as could be, even took pictures with me and gave us balloons for the day. It was fun.

This was the best dining experience I ever had. Danielle was absolutely doing amazing cooking the food and this Waffle House clears any other I’ve been to food wise by far. I went for the candlelit valentine’s dinner with my boyfriend, not only did the staff decorate so nicely but they also made the experience exciting with their positive attitudes. I wish I could remember our waitresses name as she was phenomenal, but every staff member made the experience wonderful. It was by far the most memorable night I have ever had at a waffle house 😊

Went in there with two buddies, had Jacob as our server. He was honestly the most attentive and energetic dude I've ever had anywhere, let alone a Waffle House. I work at the Waffle House in Greenville and in my very biased opinion, the food there is way better and the atmosphere is far more inviting. No shade at Greenville location, just kinda hard to top that experience 😛

We came here with some friends for Christmas eve dinner, and were pleasantly surprised by the service. Our waitress was funny and full of personality. She made our experience much better. Waffle House has an always open policy and it's nice to see that the staff keeps an attitude that supports that. They all seemed cheerful even though they were working on Christmas Eve. We stopped here for breakfast, we had waffles, eggs, hash browns, sausage and bacon, first of all the staff is amazingly friendly and thorough!! We did not have to wait or ask for coffee!! The food is prepped and cooked right in front of you. Can't say enough about this company. The nicest, kindest service staff. The food is honest, and always great. I've never had a bad experience. It ain't fast food, it's good food. You're waiting because the person at the griddle is making everything fresh. They don't lay down hasbrowns until it's called. One of the best institutions in America.

Service was great, food was served hot and fast, area around the table and the table itself was clean. My waitress was attentive and constantly cleaning when she was not waiting on a table. My waffles were cooked nicely and bacon was perfectly crispy. My only complaint and why I did not give five starts was because the grits were lumpy and not creamy, grits cannot have lumps and should be creamy.

Everything was great from the service to the food. The host greeted us and made us feel welcomed and our waitress was really nice and understanding. She helped with any questions we had and checked on us frequently. I like how they offer to have a coffee to go if we want.

The restaurant was messy crammed and some of the employees around me were swearing at each other and just didn’t seem very family friendly in that way. It's a Waffle House. So you know what your in for. I did like how they have separate seating that are movable chairs. (Booths are fine if you aren't big and tall)

I went in around 6am and the staff was okay. I specifically ask to make my waffle light, soft, and fluffy. When I got my waffle it was crispy. As the next shift was coming in, the staff was more friendly and nice. So I assume, depends what time you go in depends on the customer service you will get.

Went in for 2 grit bowls but I noticed cooks were making something different one cook started hash browns then started sweeping by the time she washed her hands and went back they were burned on onside but proceeded to try and give them too me . Its never a good experience here

The food quality is good! I've loved coming to waffle house every year for mother's day but today the server forgot my plate and the waffle. On top of that's she said it's all the way to the back end. I waited a whole time when it was not even my fault. I've never experienced that in any restaurant. A good server reviews the order before placing it, and if they make a mistake they usually rush to put it in and apologize. I felt like the server did not care and chatted at times with other worker, while I sat there waiting. Disappointed, last time I go there.

7am on August 1 2023. set down at a table that had been cleaned but still dirty. Waitress gave my wife and I a menu that was covered in syrup. Restaurant was over all less than clean. restrooms' were the same. I have eaten at this restaurant many times with some bumps in the service, but this was the worst.

Food mediocre -Service fair -Atmosphere - uncomfortable seating and zero atmosphere. My second time in a Waffle House establishment and walked away with great regret both times. Can honestly say never again. The prices are low so you get what you pay for. I prefer to pay more for better quality and better experiences.

Never been to Waffle House so we decided to try it tonight, my husband asked for a gravy and the cook who took our orders told him that she is too busy and has no time to heat up the gravy. We looked around and saw a few customers eating their food and we are the only ones that are not served yet. She could at least have made up an excuse saying that they are out of gravy instead of telling us she does not have time to heat up the gravy. Ha ha the kitchen was idle and she had a lot of down time but is too busy to heat up a gravy! Well, the verdict? Bad service, dirty place and will not come back

None of the food I ordered was correct. The cook definitely didn’t make me what I asked for, and they phones are not set up to where I can call and talk to someone to get the situation solved. I even paid extra for food, DIDNT get it. Pancakes… burnt! Sausage…… hard ash…. Etc.

I met my family there. Glad I chose not to eat. The waitress didn't wait to make sure everyone was ready. They had to rush to decide. I saw the waitress and a dishwasher reach into the trash can to push everything in it down. Neither washed their hands before touching food items or dishes.

Do not order food from this Waffle House on a Sunday morning at 4 am - the whole staff is trash! The cooked messed up every single thing I ordered…I do not recommend!

Service was horrible I walked in with a group of people we all sat down and we waited for 20 minutes and no one came and greeted, asked for drinks, orders, nothing . After waiting for 20 minutes we all ended up just getting up and leaving we tried to wave down a waiter and they straight up ignored us. They weren’t busy at all there was only a few people in there and all the staff was just standing around talking not doing anything. I will never be going back.

This Waffle House has absolutely lost the plot. Food: Our food was ice cold WHEN it arrived. My wife ordered two waffles. Me and my friend tried the new Del Monico steak. We weren't expecting great things out of the steak but it was a new item and we wanted to try it. When the food finally started to come out of the kitchen the steaks arrived first, room temperature steaks, they had cooked them before the hash browns so they sat out waiting on the has browns. It took an addition 10 minutes for the first waffle to come out. The waffles came out one at a time with about 3-5 Minutes between each waffle. They served my pregnant wife last who had only ordered waffles. They brought out her first waffle which was only half the size of a normal waffle, I guess they ran out of batter. Five minutes later she got her second waffle. When I got up to see what was going on a few times the cook wasn't helping out server at all. He was just standing there watching our poor server struggle, just lazy. He wasn't cleaning his disgusting area, wasn't cooking, just standing there watching his coworker flounder. Cleanliness: Remember that cook just standing there? Well he could've been cleaning because this was the filthiest waffle house I've ever stepped foot into. Every table but one was covered in food debris. Floors were filthy. Workspace was filthy. All with a lazy worker just standing there watching it all go down. Atmosphere: filthy. Service: Our server tried, pretty hard to do her job when the cook staff can't be bothered to make a few waffles at the House of Waffle. Price: Waffle House has lost the freaking plot. Before tip a meal for three, a double stack of waffles and two ice cold "steaks" was $58 after tip it was $70. Is Waffle House trying to compete with Texas Road House with price alone? Unfortunately this will probably be the last time we go to Waffle House for several years. Good riddance. This place is a health code shut down waiting to happen.

Walked in all breakfasts were $12 the waitress was rude I love Waffle House not this one. Walk across parking lot and now at IHOP where you have a choice for $6

First off, let me say that I am an older woman with health problems. I need to eat food that is gentle on my stomach. Nobody's business, but my daughter picked some up for me to help me feel better. She overheard employees berating her order because " they wouldn't even eat anything like that". I like the grits, because they are usually consistently perfect, safe. Waffle House has a reputation for this. These were the wateriest, and totally undercooked grits i'd ever seen!!! I guess because these employees did not eat them, they did not care to prepare them properly. I think the night shift at this location should be trained to cook all of the foods properly, even if they don't care for the particular item; because you know, a customer relying upon an established reputation may want to order what they like to eat there. Just a suggestion. I also don't care for any of the employees opinions about what I choose to pay for and eat at said establishment. Thank you.

I come through this city quite often as I live in a small town . and have to go to Dallas to do any real shopping. I liked to stop here because the people were friendly, and the service good. However, on the 16th of September, my visit was not good. I ordered a sausage bowl with a dry scrambled egg. When I got it, I commented that it was not a dry scramble. My waitress, described only as a very heavy set Mexican woman, as I didn't get her name was very rude to me and TOLD me not to yell at her and believe me when I say, "if I'm yelling, the whole block is going to hear me". I don't intend to ever eat at this waffle house ever again, thanks to her. My husband also said he wanted to get more food but we were never asked by this waitress? after the episode with my food. One star review only because I can't rate any lower.

I’ve been craving Waffle House for MONTHS, we load up the kiddo and drive 30 minutes to this location. We walked in, sat down… and sat…… and sat….. we were there with only one other table and about 8 employees and NO ONE even acknowledged our existence. I made eye contact with multiple employees and not so much as a “one minute”. A couple even walked right by our table. After about 15-20 minutes it became weird. We got up to leave to go next door to IHOP, as we were leaving not one employee even tried to say anything. When I looked back as we were walking out (because this was WEIRD) two employees were laughing together seemingly about us leaving. We’re currently at IHOP with a clear view and we can see maybe it’s shift change? Idk. But no one seems to want to be doing anything there. so disappointed :(

The waitress was very disengaged and dismissive, and the food, especially the grits, was not worth serving. When I politely declined them, the response felt unprofessional. Late-night shifts are tough, but basic customer service still matters. Unfortunately, this location missed the mark.

Worst customer service and on Christmas Eve! We’ve been eating here for years! The cook was on her phone under her chin the entire time while cooking. I told the waitress I wanted water, she brought me coffee. I ordered hash browns covered, received them with no cheese, told the waitress. She gave my plate back to the cook and she slapped a cold piece of cheese on top without melting it. Told the waitress it’s not melted. She took my plate and loudly threw it in the sink. We left because it was fast being a hostile environment for us. We drove up 30 west and found another Waffle House that treated us with respect.

Was trying to place an order with specific accommodations. You have to go in person and order to go while paying 20% extra for your order. Only to get home and the food is not good. The bacon is burnt. The waffles are mushy. I cannot call the store to complain. I cannot call corporate to complain. So I will leave a review on here and hope that between this and Facebook I get some sort of resolution.

We experienced terrible service during our visit. Our waitress disappeared midway through our meal, and it felt like a burden to get help from other staff. Recommendation for management: If a team member needs to step away for a meeting or an extended period, please have them inform their tables and let customers know who can assist in their absence.
