This cashier miss.bridgett was very welcoming and sweet and has really outstanding customer service and the store manager was very sweet and also made sure my order was very fresh and had everything I had asked for with no problems.

This Popeyes is like a hidden treasure the food is always hot and very good. Very clean on the inside and the service is wonderful who says you can't get good food in the hood me and my family Love this Popeyes.
Brand new interior. This is a very clean location.They have no drive thru ,but the nice interior makes up for it. Also they were very well staffed and quick. Thanks for the excellent service!
Love that chicken from Popeyes. Not entirely close to the house but since this is the closest one, I'll take it. Wish the one on Jensen and Collingsworth was still open. Darn you bad economy. Your ruining my already limited food choices.

It's been awhile since I last visited this joint. They chicken was so fresh. I really enjoyed it. The Tuesday special has gone up but no worries. Still worth it and the young man in the window was so nice.
Thank God,really..Thank God 🙏 That I ONLY have good experiences at this Popeyes.. I honestly dk why others have bad ones.. Even my sister did. She refuses to go there BUT ME.. All good experiences..So far atleast ! Then again.. I am one of Gods favorites,but that's besides the point lol .. They have..Great food,great staff Nd the lobby is open till 10pm when most close at 8.. Sooooo.. No complaints so far Nd I hope it stays that way 😌
I went Friday morning around 1:30 and the afternoon and it’s was 2 ppl working a manger and one employee…. I order 10cp bundle with double red bean and rice … and Mann I love how them two lady’s was working and customers serving was great they was still smiling and being nice why running a busy lobby and drive Thur full of ppl great job lady’s my food was fresh and hot I will be back I wish I knew them lady’s names … they work in the morning time one have pretty tattoos and I think the manger name Jakie
Everything was great when I went there. Great service too! Had to stop in during work hours to get a pickle lemonade! So delicious!

I honestly dont like the night dark ally of the drive thru. They added more lights. But most recently it hasn't been all bad. Its really quick to order and go. But if there is a line, then you just going to have to wait because the chicken is get fried. Love it when its fresh and hot.

Was traveling through on Friday March 7, 2025. Have to say this Popeyes was a great choice. From the food to the staff. Nothing was greasy or overcooked. The staff was so friendly. Next time in this area. Definitely stopping here. Thanks. :)
Yes, yes yes I love this here particular popeyes. The manager Jackie really adheres to her position ! She tries hard to make sure things are done the right way. My last two visits were superb ! The other manager, the guy with the tattoos was cooking the food and wow was it fresh and good. Even my side orders were on point. Although the location is not in the best area, I still make it a point to visit. Keep up the good work Jackie....customers like myself appreciate it.
I think they must start preparing your order once you pay. Waited in line extra long time.
The chicken was pretty good and the people was very respectful but it was a lot of littering going on people just standing up and just being right there up under Popeye's Chicken and the store but it's good chicken though
The chicken when ordered could be hotter or if they have a fresh bash of mild or spicy chicken it would be nice to know I don't mind waiting

Their intercom system isn't great. I said "fries" and they heard "rice". I still love the rice, so I'm not super upset, but i really wanted those fries.
They mess up orders frequently and give whatever they have instead of wat you ordered always check ya food with this place..
I asked for a single spicy chicken sandwich and the cashier Andrea asked “the combo?” And I said yeah thinking she meant the meal. But she charged us $20 and then proceeded to give me a condescending look when we were confused why she handed us 2 drinks. Lack of clear communication, could easily have double checked if we meant 2, because you go to any other fast food drive through and ask if you want the combo, you’re referring to the drink + entree + side. Repeat the order back to the customer to confirm, Andrea.
Quality of food has declined, so I threw the chicken away it seemed old for the 3 for $5.00. Oh snd the side portions are half the container out higher prices......Church's chicken is winning, right now

Horrible parking. The space for this gas station, convenience store and Popeyes restaurant is too small. Barely enough space to back out of parking spaces without hitting cars at pumps.

Two families one car. Can only use one coupon. Makes no sense to me. Employees get upset because they are asked for condiments. Asked for condiments and napkins but didn't get napkins. Beautiful golden brown biscuits and the chicken was (fairly) hot but the wings were barely larger than bird wings, but that's the size of them at all of the locations on the northeast side. No excuse for this.
Food was good but they told me to pull around and park and then forgot about me....soon as I went in to let them know I had been waiting 20 min in my car they cave me my order🤦🏾♀️
Was SUPER disappointed at the fact I couldn't get mashed potatoes WITHOUT gravy, they were all premade with gravy and apparently couldn't make more. There was NO SODA at all, only tea or lemonade and get home and my husband's 5 piece looked like it'd been fried more than once and the wing they gave him was more like a baby bird, I'll upload the photo later this afternoon/early evening. So not only are the prices going up, the portions are clearly getting smaller 🤬
I was picking up a complimentary dinner an wanted fresh chicken. The crust was extremely horrible, I don't know if it was over cooked or old. It was so thick and hard, and black when you separated it from the chicken. I couldn't enjoy my meal.
1/4 I've had a total of 4 chicken sandwiches here. Only one of them was good. The rest were drenched in oil. Yuck. The employees have always given great service though. I wish the food was great too.
I like clean and contemporary dining area, but it has been hot the last few times I've been there. Service is friendly, but very slow. I had to ask for condiments, napkins, utensils, etc. They frequently are out of menu items. That necessitates a longer wait. Panhandlers are a problem at this location. I've had people hit me up for money inside the restaurant. I decided to take my business to the Popeyes on Lyon.
Good morning, first of all went through the drive-throuh, line was not moving at all. Got from there and went in.I ordered a two- piece of chicken, mild , didn't say we are frieing some chicken ( mild) nothing. Took forever for the order. Will never go back!!!!

Out of the five yes FIVE times I have tried to get chicken here only once did they have what I ordered. On four different occasions I have been told/lied to that they don't have what I wanted to order, when in reality they're just don't want to do their job. They also are racist and discriminate against Caucasian and Latino people. How do I know this? I have experienced this firsthand as well as witnessed this. I have tried to order chicken and told nope they're out and as I'm leaving I overheard the African American woman that was in line behind me order THE EXACT SAME CHICKEN that I had just tried to purchase and she was asked "spicy or mild"? and what side for you? Anything else you would like today? Mind you I SPEAK perfect English and Spanish so it was not a communication error just plain outright racism and discrimination.
Waited more than 40mi. For my chicken people outside the store just hanging out screaming coming in and out but yet my chicken is not ready but employees running and laughing in there super bad service the worse ever
I come to this popeye's almost every month or week and its always so slow especially if there are no other customers in the store. I can't come here anymore just because of how incredibly slow the service is for almost no reason. There is always 2 people working and that's it? Worse is if you have to park outside and wait for your meal.
Food is good but they are so slow and they act like they don't wanna be there the environment is ghetto people parking crazy and driving crazy and just up in there speaking loud service needs to be better but the food is a 10 out of 10
Horrible service !! Food was not of good quality. The manager came outside where she had me park to give me my food . I asked her for the receipt because she over charged me GUESS WHAT SHE SAID SHE DIDNT HAVE A RECEIPT!! My great grand mother moves faster than they do. Plus the chicken is cold and not spicy. They drive thru time is terrible. The zone office need to do something about the lack of service.
Chicken is decent, but they need to work on the sides since they always taste old. Customer service is always a hit or miss--usually miss EDIT: 8/19/16 - Skip this place. All the food is older than I am. The biscuits could be used for a hockey puck, fries are like matchsticks and chicken is the consistency of jerky. Customer service is nonexistent.
Forgot my biscuit and didn't offer me a cup of water for my waste of time. So while I gave up and sat in the parking lot during my lunch break, I had not a single napkin nor fork to eat my beans. Still no water for my inconvenience. Poor service? No doubt

This Popeyes Lockwood and Cranes was horrible the served old discolored chicken. And when asked for some that hasn't been under the burner. I was given chicken greasy and under cooked with crust falling off. So I gave it to the dogs. Red beans and pies was great. So that's the one Star. I'll never return here.
We drive up to the Lockwood location as we pulled up there were 4 workers sitting and talking as I went in I placed my order. All 4 of them Hispanic workers were sitting there while they had three people in the Kitchen working. A car pulls up and the Manager Belinda tells the Drive-thru cashier she messed up on his order. The elderly man comes in and requests paper plates and plastic ware. Ok so I get my order and start to walk out I hear all 4 of them laughing at "Us" me and the old man. I was very uncomfortable with the fact that these employees seem to enjoy laughing at Customers who come in this location . The Manager Belinda should have more of a Profession as far as Greeting Customers instead of standing there to leave it for the Cashier in the front to be the only Welcoming employee. Belinda needs to go back to Management class to learn how to greet Customers and act more Professional!!!
Sadly I am never going to Popeyes again! Popeyes at one time was my favorite fried chicken place. I just got home from the Popeye's on Lockwood and my chicken is not edible! It is cold and actually tasted almost rotten. My french fries were hard and tasted as if they have been fried two or three times over. It was horrible! And the sad thing about it is this is the third time in the row this has happened at this location. My food in one way or another has been absolutely inedible! And the sad thing about that also is that I went to a Popeyes in Laporte on Fairmont. The last two times I went
I was in line for about 10 minutes no acknowledement(I'll be right with you aor anything) so I left this is the 2nd time this has happened
The ghetto ordered and 8 pc mild chicken and a white meat chicken dinner after sitting in the ghetto next to decrepit wall perfect spot to be held up has to be the most unsafe Popeyes on the planet I received a spicy dark meat not a leg and thigh but 2 legs and a biscuit and 8 pieces of spicy chicken tenders the smallest chicken tenders I've ever gotten at a Popeyes macaroni and cheese instead of ordered mash potatoes A cold overcooked chicken sandwichand cold friies . Took back immediately and waited to be held up a second time on way to California to at ghetto Popeyes back closed wall for 45 more minutes instead of getting my 8 piece fried chicken I got cold putrid nasty 4 chicken tenders scared to eat i threw it away t no telling what they do to paying customers bring back wrong orders heard manager at drive thru call me racial name wanting something for nothing and again another macaroni cheese no Fried chicken no mash potatoes never got our soda spent almost 50 dollars obviously I wasn't trying to get anything for nothing I just Wanted what I ordered !!!!!! Don't worry this racial name won't be stopping at the ghettpoyees ever again enjoy your ghettpoyes nasty dirty rude walking salmonella factory!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Went to get the Tuesday special ordered 3 of them along with red beans and rice staff really rude and had to have the audacity to question did I check my bag like really!!!! definitely never going back to this location again red beans tasted funny wow not worth it
Ordered a sandwhich on delivery. The employees were rude to my driver and it took 47 minutes to prepare my order. Will not be coming back
Do not go here for lunch . They will serve you food from the day before . My side order of red beans and rice was hard as if it was half way cook . But after a closer look I noticed it could have been from the day before .
I came here and only ordered a sandwich and single tender and a pepper, but somehow waited over 30 minutes. Everyone got their food before me and I was constantly taunted with peoples orders. I think this is extremely unprofessional and I was extremely tired from the four hour drive. When our food came out, it was extremely cold and soggy. I couldn’t believe! Next time I will just go to Urban Bird Hot Chicken.
This is not a good location!! The lady at the drive thru was rude she pretended not to hear me when I went to repeat the order she cut me off saying she got it. I went to the window she didn't speak took my card and just gave me the bag without saying a word. The Mac and cheese was mushy like it has been sitting all day. Do better Popeyes and hire people that knows how to treat a PAYING customer I won't be back to this location EVER!!!!
Something is off about this Popeyes. Ordered a tender meal with fries. When I got to my car and opened the box, the entire car immediately smelled like spoiled chicken. The fries smelled fine but they were really dark and they left a weird oily residue in my mouth. I ended up throwing away the entire meal. I will be disputing the card charge to get my money back. Not to mention, I initially went to the drive-through, but the line of three or four cars did not move for a good 10 minutes. At that point, I should’ve known to just go home. But instead, I went inside, and multiple employees looked dead at me while I was waiting to order and carried about their business without taking my order. At this point why did I stay? Because I was hungry, but clearly I am still hungry. Next time, I’ll trust my gut. Not worth it.
I CAME TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT TO PICK UP SOME FOOD FOR MY MOTHER & I DIDN'T LIKE WHAT I SAW. THE CASHIER/COOK WAS TOUCHING EVERYTHING & MAKING THE CHICKEN WITH NO GLOVES ON. THE OTHER COOK WAS MOPPING & MAKING BISCUITS WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS NOR USING GLOVES. IT WAS NOT SANITARY AT ALL.

I just ordered the 12 piece wings and the chicken was old ....I was so hard I believe that the chicken was sitting there for at least 1 hour.... That is unacceptable something need as to be done at this location
Not sure what the lady in green shirt did to the sandwich, the chicken sandwich was salty... Not to mention I ordered 3 meals which I had 2 classics and a spicy and received 2 spicy and a classics... Customer Service is no good. The young lady in drive thru is really trying, she does front counter as well. The manager of the store walks around with no help and there is another lady who wear the same color shirt of manager who is just as worst. No Customer Service Skills and definitely no concern for customers.
Monday night 8pm, 12pc chicken was ordered, waited 30 minutes in drive thru, had to put car in reverse and ask if she "Destiny" forgot about me. Came to window offered me a soda. Got home and drank soda at home it was nothing but carbonation, there was only 8pc chicken. Went back to complain about my order. Sad to see another customer shaking his head, and said, he also had a bad experience. Popeyes need new employees that care about serving the neighborhood. And more training.
I visit this location on a Friday around 3:06 pm the cashier who took my order was cool but the quality of the chicken was whack! The beans and rice was cold the chicken was slightly warm but only cause it was under a heat lamp. I checked my order before I left this business and I returned the whole meal and request my coins back they wanted to remake the order I declined cause they should have given me hot food the first go around. I will not return and I will never advise any one to go there.
I came in around 8:30 no Monday night and I can only see one person behind the counter. There were only for eight pieces of chicken prepared. When someone finally came to took my order, I found out there were only a few such chicken ready. I said no thank you and went and got some Chinese. I don't know it this was an off night, but I don't think I'll try this place again.
This place is horrible. The customer service is horrendous. The girls that work here especially the ones that seem younger are very disrespectful and are extremely slow and not possessing a servant or service-oriented attitude you should really consider having training for your employees. I would never order food from here for myself I was picking up food for someone it's an order that was already placed about an hour ago. Wanting a quick meal while traveling to visit a sick relative in the area. We decided to order food using our Popeyes app. Worst decision I made that day. Upon arrival and went inside to pick up the order. we observed a young Lady and her mother yelling at the manager on duty (Tim) demanding more free items. Tim proceeded to prepare the food in the back, eventually he walked to the front counter with their food. There was another Lady in front of us who started asking for free food. Stating since Tim had given the previous customer free food, she wanted hers free as well. The cashier at the register stated I just work here. The second customer didn't get any free items. Finally it's our turn to collect our food. I asked the cashier if the chicken and fries were fresh. The cashier immediately said, " I'm going to the bathroom. Tim you deal with them". The cashier then returned and asked Tim for toilet paper which was in the food prep area. Cashier then declared how filthy the bathrooms were. Tim started to prepare our food, upon receiving it, I immediately checked for accuracy. The first thing I noticed that was missing was the apple pie. Tim stressed there's not an apple pie on my receipt and tried to charge me for it again. I provided proof that I ordered and paid for the pie using the app. He then went to the garage can and dug out the ticket and receipt. After that he says oh I see it now. He placed a pie in the bag. Then I informed him of the 2 missing side items, and chicken pieces. Tim then declared that if we don't want the food cancel the order. Tim provided the missing items but after being very rude. When we left we realized the chicken was cold. I called the store location only to be told by Tim that he can take the food back but not issues a refund. I was livid, and ate somewhere else. The entire experience was unacceptable.
Unrealistically slow!! There was 2 cars in front of me and it took 35 minutes to get through. You can’t just leave because the drive through is a one lane behind the building where you can’t drive past or reverse. You enter and you’re committed. This is absolutely ridiculous! Cooking the chicken from scratch doesn’t even take half this long!
Why do you guys even offer online ordering. .you get there 20 mins after ordering and they barely start looking for your order.. 15 mins later they have your order ready and i check my order and im missing biscuits.. i let the cashier know and she says theres no biscuits in your order "il let you have em for free this time" so i check my receipt and there is 2 biscuits on receipt then comes back with 1 biscuit and says i have to wait 6 mins for the other biscuit to cook to park up front
They over charged my mother in law. The managers and employees are rude. The manager had an attitude when she asked for her money back after waiting 24 minutes for fresh chicken. I will NEVER go here again.
Customer service awful, food cold and greasy, tea tooo sweet. The workers were talking about door dash and not focused on their job. Another employee was sitting down eating chips. I guess because this establishment is in the hood, this is the type of behavior that is expected……….This whole establishment is a mess. No one was at the register so I had to wait until the workers decided to greet me and take my order. I had people from my job warn me about this place. I should have listened, but never again.
Long wait ! I think they don't cook food till you pay 😕 then after returning because I was missing the biscuits they treated me as if I was being dishonest over 5 biscuits 🫣 they even had the nerve to act upset 😡 when I'm the one that waited over 30 min then had to turn around after getting down the street and had to come back and wait another 15 min ! Never again I will rather go to church's chicken or rasin canes !!

not exactly sure when they started this new policy of not taking customers orders during the last hour so that they can leave and clean up faster because that sure wasn’t a thing when i worked there but tonight has been the second and last time i try ordering through the drive thru, waiting over 20 minutes, just to be ignored by the employees hoping i’ll leave, it especially sucks because i know for a fact that girl with red hair and glasses saw me she made eye contact with me multiple times just to ignore me and probably did the exact same thing to the car behind me.
The employee there was very rude and she was working extra slow don't recommend this place . I think she was under the influence of something.

Food order was wrong. The employee didn't want me to speak with Management. I asked for a refund and he told me that they don't do refunds. A manager ended up coming and taking my order.
I tried to order i had to yell at the speaker then the lady said she couldn't hear me so she told me "please pull up to the window" so I did then she stalled for 5 mins open the window and said I have to go around to the speaker again I tried to explain she was the one who asked me to go to the window to order and proceed to argue that I need to go around
One Star - Disappointing Mobile Order Experience I placed a mobile order for pickup via the Popeyes app with a promised ready time of 12:05 PM. Arriving at the Lockwood and Crane location ten minutes prior, I anticipated a quick and easy pickup. However, despite the app and in-store screen indicating my order was ready at the designated time, I was left waiting an additional 18 minutes. To add to the frustration, I was asked to sign for my own mobile order pickup. This requirement, which seems more appropriate for delivery services, felt entirely unnecessary and inconvenient for a customer simply collecting their pre-paid order. The significant delay and the odd signature requirement made for a thoroughly disappointing experience. As a result, I will not be returning to this Popeyes location in the future.
I waited in the drive-through for over 40 minutes. When they finally opened the window to acknowledge me, it was just to say that they're no longer taking orders because they're closed despite me getting there at 11:15 PM.
Completely got my order wrong. Didn't have enough pieces of chicken i wanted, so they gave me what they wanted me to eat. I waited 22 minutes for the order. Never Again at this location. Red beans and rice was old and dry.
We sat in the drive thru line for 30 minutes or more along with other cars. No one didn't notify any car of what was going on. I sent my Grandson in to get his online order. It was not good at all. The chicken was old and the fries was too. We all assumed that they were frying fresh chicken. But truly I was wrong. Will never go there again 😒
I don’t know what needs to happen at this location, but a change definitely needs to happen. It’s like no one cares that they work there. There is never a sense of urgency to get orders out. There is so much wrong with this location it’s really not humorous at all. They are not friendly, they do not greet you, they treat you like a burden and hindrance to whatever they would RATHER be doing in the moment. These are the type of people that would do something to your food if you aired a grievance. And if they aren’t well that’s definitely the IMPRESSION they give! I’ve tried to put in an order online and STILL had to wait 10+ minutes for just 6 wings. I’ve gotten my order wrong TWICE in a row. It’s like they just give you whatever THEY want you to have. I started to come up there the second time they got it wrong, but honestly, what is the point? They show everyday that they don’t care. Everyone is slow and miserable. The chicken itself is hit or miss. Sometimes it’s fresh sometimes it’s not. I drive the city bus and I don’t have time to come back up there after they get my order wrong. I know this location is in the hood, but that doesn’t mean that EVERY worker there has to fit the stereotype of what someone would look like and act like at a location in that area. If it gotta be like that then just shut it down!
I wish I could show you the food that was dropped off here for me and my kids to eat. Spicy tenders instead of regular ones scraped from the bottom of the pan Mac and cheese and Brittney manager says bring food back up with receipt to get replace!! Wow this is rectification? How distasteful I have wanted this for a week. Son had to go to work asked him to get me red beans and rice and tenders for kids. He gone no car no food and Brittany want to be disrespectful!! They got my $42 dollar order fixed!!
