It was Sunday and a bit crowded. However, our server was very attentive and served us with a smile. The Baby Back ribs were a nice portion and I had extra to take home. It was noisy, but then again, it was Sunday and families were out and about. The place was clean and did not have to wait to long for our food. It was a nice day and we left satisfied.

Came here with my wife and I to have a nice meal turned out to be a very great experience. Everything had flavor green beans, potato, and steak was delicious. My wife had the pork ribs which were delicious. She loved them. Everyone was happy. Oh, not to mention that famous large chocolate chip cookie, smothered, a ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce.

Waiter was not experience and did not service the proper way. I spoke to the manager and he gave me a $25 gift card for the inconvenience of having to wait to pay out for over 35 minutes

First, please be more aware of service dogs. Was told they do not give water to animals. Other then this one issue, Cheddar's always delivers. Thier menu is consistent between locations, along with the atmosphere. My server was absent most of the meal. Which isn't bad but we had our drinks on the end of table to refills for longer then necessary. I recommend eating here. Try the Monte Christo.

Cheddar’s was amazing. The food was delicious, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The portions were generous and everything came out just right. The entire restaurant was super clean and well organized, from the dining area to the bathrooms. You could tell cleanliness is a priority here. I did notice a roach on the booth as we were leaving, which was definitely surprising. But honestly, the restaurant was spotless, so I don’t think it’s a sign of poor hygiene. Even the cleanest places can occasionally have a pest slip in, especially in certain climates or busy areas. It didn’t take away from the great experience we had. I’ll absolutely be back. Great food, great atmosphere, and overall a great time.

I really enjoyed this place a lot with my family. The food here was amazing just like the pictures. The customer service was great as well. And the time they give you before seating. Was really fast. I believe the best hours to go eat is between 2pm -5pm before it gets really busy with lots of customers. Thanks to the great service here I highly recommend this restaurant for a great meal. Excellent service, nice ambiance and low price full rack of ribs with two sides under 20 bucks. I took my leftovers to go and really wished I ordered a double side of the broccoli casserole because that really hates the next day creamy goodness cheesy deliciousness.

They start you off with complimentary croissants. I had the tilapia w rice pilaf plate, sides were house salad (balsamic vinaigrette, yummy), and sweet baby carrots. I had the "Painkiller" coconut margarita, and they limit it to 2 per customer. That's how good they are! The server was excellent and very attentive to our needs if we had any.

Their menu has such a wide variety and a table of 4 enjoyed every entree ordered! The food was so delicious and genuinely tasted homemade! Two of us who ordered them, enjoyed the alcoholic drinks as well! The ambiance of the restaurant is so elegant, yet chill and comfortable. We'd definitely come back to try different items :)

My mom and I stopped in for an early lunch today. I haven't been to Cheddars in about 8 years but my mom loves y'all so I told her I was down to have the experience. I'm so glad I did! We got there right after opening and were one of the first few tables. Kelly (I'm not sure of the spelling) was AMAZING! She was so sweet, the perfect amount of bubbly, and attentive. She was knowledgeable and helpful when it came to questions of mine. I have been in restaurant management for 18 years and will tell you she's a keeper 😊. We ordered the spinach dip to start us off, a Potpie, and the Chicken Fried Chicken for our entrees. Everything was delicious... but the green beans were EXTREMELY salty. My mom had me try them to see if she was "crazy" lol. I have heart issues so one bite was already too much. We did communicate that with Kelly and she was awesome and said she'd communicate that with both the kitchen and management. We didn't need nor want a replacement side. Honestly, I'm thinking salt (maybe double) was added with the bacon grease and it was just a bit too much. The restaurant was clean but extremely quit. Lol I get as managers we get sidetracked and busy but the music didn't come on until about 20-30 minutes after opening. Seriously though please recognize Kelly. It's important (especially in today's world) that we recognize those servers/staff giving top notch service.

I had a limited time beef tip meal. Might still be there. Honestly, the sauce was a bit Cajun Spicy like for me. Too many mushrooms. I tried to trick myself into the fact that there weren't so many mushrooms, but I didn't like it all that much. Me and him have known one another 10 years and went back because that's our chill restaurant. Good service for the people and very attentive. Was just a tad loud for me. Maybe next time not that dish though. Otherwise, y'all are still as great as I remember. Thank you!

This place was just fantastic and enjoyable all around, we loved every moment of our experience! The food was delicious and perfect, my buddy had one $5 cocktail and was ready to cry with tears of joy when he bit into that juicy barbecue bacon burger. The queso and chips were awesome, and the honey butter croissants were just the excellent cherry on top!! Everything is very well priced, the staff were so kind and courteous, and the tablet at the table for splitting the bill and ordering is extremely convenient. I really love this location because of its accessibility to both loop 410 northeast and loop 410 Northwest. Plenty of parking and usually not extremely busy to where you can get seated promptly and get to eating..Thank you to the staff and to the awesome kitchen employees for putting out great meals. Ambiance is really comfortable here and it's pretty easy going during the day before dinner time. I'll be back again as I frequent this area of town for multiple reasons! I hadn’t been to a Cheddar’s in years but decided to try out the newest location. As we walked up to the restaurant entrance, we were greeted by two employees who held open the doors for us. We were seated immediately and I went to the restroom to wash my hands. The restroom was clean, however, it is a single-occupancy so I had to wait a bit. When I went back to the table, the waiter had brought out buttered croissant - flaky and good! We ordered chips and queso - the chips were warm and crunchy. We ordered the country fried steak and chicken finger platter. The comfort food was as I remember it - good but nothing extraordinary. Our server was attentive and and very friendly. Overall, it was a great experience!

Sat at the bar. Took awhile for the bartender to come by and take my order. I had the rum punch. It was good, but too heavy on the nutmeg and the coconut on the glass did not add to the drink. Having lived in the Caribbean, the drink did not live up to expectations. You get a croissant with honey butter while waiting for your food. I ate the bourbon salmon. It comes with rice and 2 sides. For my sides, I selected the sweet carrots and baked potato. The salmon was well done, but the sauce was served on the side. The description of it was "glazed" so I expected it on the salmon.

Bartender was extremely busy but remained friendly and professional. Food came out hot and seasoned perfectly. A very solid option for a chain restaurant.

I have never been to a Cheddar's before. It was a Wednesday at 5 o'clock in San Antonio. Just picked up my daughter; Heather, from the airport. She was hungry of course, being on an airplane for 4 hours will have that effect. Went down the access road and saw the big sign so we stopped. When we entered there was a big fish tank which was Kool. We received a booth right away, I would like to add that it was a damn good spot in the beginning. Our server was a nice Mexican girl and she knew her stuff. She was eager to serve us but we were checking things out so we were taking our time. She didn't get piturbed, she stayed patient with us. We ordered some drinks. Then when it came down to choosing the food, they didn't have what my girl wanted which was BOO! I had the meatloaf and Heather ended up with chicken with mushroom sauce. Oh by the way before we got our drinks some male server placed some croissants on our table, OMG amazing! We had a good meal time, until they sat a family of 7 right by us in our corner of the restaurant. They weren't that bad but there were other tables they could have sat them at. Food was great; service was good, and the atmosphere was kosher until the Brady Bunch got hungry. Lol. 🙂✌️

But why would you put the sour cream in the same bag as the dessert toppings 🥲 I assumed it was slightly melted whipped cream & mixed it fully in the dessert 👎 I doubt a refund is an option since I was partly at fault. But it's okay to not put all the cold items in 1 bag 🥲 the sour cream in the same bag as the 'hot' spinach dip will be just fine 🥲☹️ I only ordered food from here because of the dessert. 🍪🍨

First time visiting this location. Website said no wait time, got there and had to wait. No big deal, the wait wasn’t long, but we had to sit on the benches in the foyer and there was no A/C in there (wouldn’t expect there to be since it’s only a middle area between the restaurant and the outside), so we were very hot. Once we were brought inside, Ii was never able to cool down. We were warm the entire time we were in there. Maybe we were too close to the kitchen, or the A/C was turned up, it wasn’t hot, but it was too warm to be comfortable. We were all fanning ourselves with the drink menus! The waitress was friendly, and the food was good, so overall it was a good experience. Just a little too toasty inside for my liking. I will say, there was a lot of confusion over orders and who got what, so maybe the staff needs to be better trained. We had one waitress trying to bring us appetizers for another table but maybe they were new. They also stood at one end of the table and handed all the food down, so one person with us actually had myself and another person touch and pass down their plate before it got to her, which really shouldn’t happen. Again, nothing major, just some small things that could be improved on.

Well, the presentation looked amazing, but my food was cold, so I asked our waitress if they per-make the ribs, and she said yeah. So I asked her why wouldn't they at least warm them before pushing them out for service. She said they did warm them, well to be that wasn't warming them. I ordered take out from this location for a birthday. The order was not complete. They realized one mistake and gave me a call about the one item they believed was missing. Once I arrived home, I realized that half of my order was missing. The food we did receive was good. In addition to missing food items, we were also missing all dressings and toppings. Highly dissatisfied with this trip. The only reason I still have this rated 3 stars is because we have enjoyed this location in the past.

We were seated right away but then no one attended to us or a while. When someone finally came for our drink order, they asked if we had been waiting. We proceed to order our drinks and food BC we had already had a lot of time looking over the menu. When our food came out it was barely warm. Also, my son ordered fries and there was a baked potato instead. The food runner asked, yall didnt order that. I said no, she looked at the ticket and it said fries. She had to go back to get the fries. It just seemed very disorganized for 5pm. The restaurant did not seem very busy when we were there.

Food was mid, I had to order from the kids menu. Everything was either fried or heavily sauced pork. The chicken and salmon options were not appealing to me at all. After eating my grilled chicken, rice and broccoli kids meal, I finished it off with the fried apple pie and ice cream. The desert was the best part! I'd actually come back for the desert alone. That honey butter croissant was also delicious, I wanted a dozen!

Came here with some friends and it was kind of a let down. The food wasn’t that good and also wasn’t seasoned that well. I got the chicken tender platter with side of steamed broccoli and a loaded potato. The broccoli was probably the best thing on my plate and that was after I added salt. The honey butter croissants were definitely a 10/10 so I recommend that 100%. My friends got the chicken fried steak and they also weren’t too impressed. The Wisconsin cheese bites were a hit at the table. Lastly, we got the buffalo chicken wrap and they messed up the order the first time a we had to wait another 10-15 minutes for the new food and we were already on a time crunch. The server and manager were nice! Painkiller drinks were amazing, though I would not put that much nutmeg in a drink.

Good food, but service should’ve been better. We sat for about 10 minutes before getting a server. They were busy, we were not bothered. We all ordered apps, drinks, and bar drinks. Drinks took about 12 minutes, but they were busy so it was fine. We were in the middle of enjoying our meals and conversation when the waitress approached us with to-go containers and started asking if we were ready for the bill. I told her we would be ordering desserts once we finished our meals… we were only about 1/3 to 1/2 way through our meals. She then asked who was going to be paying for the desserts since we had three checks… I was surprised that she was still pushing the bill issue. My sister then told her we’d pay for our own desserts that we order. Making sure I was not being dramatic and knowing that we do be chatting, I checked the time. We had only been seated for 43 minutes. Including the 10 minutes it took to be greeted. We normally would’ve tipped $30-$50 for a $70 meal, but she earned herself a $10 tip from my check. The host and food runners were very nice and friendly. Bartender made fantastic drinks! Food was all excellent. Not sure if she’s a new server, but why rush service when we were not “campers?” Other than that, she did very well and could’ve earned more from our table. She would’ve made an easy $100-$150 from three couple and a toddler. Easy money.

We love cheddars. It was the service that was lacking. We didn't get our drinks. I thought maybe our server was busy. We had to ask another person for them after being there for 20 minutes. We were never asked if we needed anything else until she asked if we wanted a to go box. Just meh.

This was my first time at the 410 location and my entire plate of food was cold. I asked if they could heat it in the microwave, and my plate was returned, lukewarm. The waitress was attentive and nice though.

So it wasn't the best of food. My first time going and I wasn't too impressed. I got the shrimp Alfredo and it was all mushy together. The pasta, sauce, and broccoli was one together when im pretty sure it wasn't supossed to be. It was a nice little restaurant but did not hit the spot. Our waitress was ok but could have been because she was tired. Everyone has told me to try this place, I did and just did not enjoy it. Dont know what the hype is about. Anyways, I hope others have gotten to enjoy the food here. Not all experiences are the same.

Came to the northstar location last night 12/20/25 to enjoy dinner with family, walked in around 7:30 and was seated pretty fast. Our server was supposedly jenn and that’s when it just went downhill. After getting our order in and our apps orders in she came by to take our orders. Her attitude was super rude and nonchalant. When it came to her taking my fiancés order he asked what sides are there for his meal. Her response was “if you read the menu it says it on there”. I’m not sure if she was a new server that didn’t have the menu memorized or if she just didn’t care to help him order. After that interaction we knew the service wasn’t going to be good. The whole time being served by her was super passive aggressive and inappropriate for customer service behavior. The food made up for the bad service luckily and therefore I didn’t get a manager involved. We still tipped 20$ out of decency but it was not deserved.

The blue cheese salad tasted like mayo. We ask for a medium ribeye, and it was well don and that’s hard as a shoe sole, the baked potato tasted sweet, would not recommend this place We paid a $60 check for two people.

We were a party of 15 the manager wouldn't put another table (4topper) at the end to accommodate all of our guests comfortably. It wasn't even busy, the restaurant was about 30% occupied. He said all the tables were bolted down and could not be moved. He just didn't want to accommodate our party. The service was also very slow and not organized at all. Three times to ask for tea refill and to get one beer. Seriously awful experience at this location.

We order alcoholic drinks, it took 25 minutes to get the first one and it was wrong. We called the manager Martin Zoro appeared and gave us attitude so we left. We were there last week and that same manager was being very rude and kept arguing with a customer. We used to go at least once a week, not anymore because of Martin Zoro and his lack of professionalism!

The food and service is always good. My issue is with the parking lot. I kid you not there is a space that has a broken car window. It's been there for over 6 months. Yes, 6 months. I've spoken to both the bar tender and day manager. I showed the manager a picture and he ensured me he would take care of it. Did it happen? Nope. It may not be the restaurant's responsibility, but come on. Take some pride with your establishment.

Arrived at Cheddars at4:45 the hostess sat us down right away. Place was not busy. Waited and waited patiently. Other people that came after us were being seated in the same area as us and they were served right away. So when the hostess went and sat some more people I asked when we were getting served she replied they will be right with you. Waited and waited and nothing. So we decided to leave and the hostess did see us but said nothing. We were there a good 20 minutes. It's just disappointing.

I order trio sampler with sauce on the side and received it with sauce so my small grandkids could not eat it so it was a a waste of food called then and would refund my meal got a 10.00 credit after I told her how much the meal was as I can those pep are not listening to the customer I will have to make another call

What an unfortunate lunch experience. The appetizer never arrived. The pasta was cold. I ordered a second Margarita and it never came. I shared my experience with the manager with no acknowledgement, no apology...nothing. General management, please take a good look, at this location.

Hands-down the worst beer battered fish and shrimp that I ever had in my life. I’m also 47. Cheddars is nothing but hospice food. Only thing good is the croissants and napkins.

Wait staff didn't listen to what was said didn't tell kitchen nor bartender ! SO I ASKED FOR A TINY SAMPLE OF THE Wine so mom who is picky would not waste a full glass! So first kind they didn't have 2nd kind the bartender or waiter not sure cause he was not our waiter brought to me and wanted to hand it to me from behind my shoulder! That isn't a wise move so I told him no he needed to come around to mom side! That wine was very sour unfit to drink! we finally got waiter to take it back wasting a full glass instead of a small sample ! Next the steak came out covered in black pepper . We always as for no salt peper or any other spices! We saw the peper and pointed it out to the waiter and he snatched it up and yell over his should that he would get manager! His Aditude was not needed ! If you order it a certain way you should get it that away ! Lastly my ribs looked old tasted peppery and rest of my meal bake potato and broccoli casserole looked old not fresh ! Complained to manager and we left heard him yelling at staff in the kitchen ! Won't be back

Honestly… Normally, we have a very good experience at this location. However, the service tonight was poor. The staff was quick to take our money and expect a tip But the food was late and no utensils to eat with. If I knew that beforehand, I probably would not have ordered. But again, normally they have a great service. They just dropped the ball this time.

Take your Onions Rings off Menu. 6x in the past year we visit this location. They never have Onions Rings. Always advertising that they do, yet never do. Just excuses 😒 🙄 Cooperate needs to fix this situation. This will be my last visit to Cheddars ever, I'm done. If I wasn't already seated, id leave. This angers me this restaurant makes excuses yet doesn't fix the problem ongoing for all 2025

We went to eat lunch. I have never had such a bad hamburger in my life. The bun was burnt and tasted like coal, and the fries were stale. Despite that, I didn't lose my positive energy today. I even gave you more tips than you deserved, but you definitely don't deserve this. If Robinson Crusoe had eaten this food, he would have gone back to his island. Please don't feed stale food to people. I kindly ask you.

I recommend not ordering the ribs... they have actually admitted to having issues with them being sent back. This day however, everything was bad and for the time wasted celebrating a bday we received a rock hard chocolate chip cookie wit ice cream. I've been to this location twice. The first time was decent so I'm willing to give it one more try. But I definitely won't be ordering the ribs!

This experience was completely unacceptable. While dining here with my children, we observed a cockroach crawling on the wall and table area where we were seated. To be very clear—my kids were sitting exactly where the insect was crawling, right next to our food. This is not an assumption; I have photos as proof. I immediately notified staff, but our concern was ignored, and no urgency was shown despite the obvious health risk and the fact that children were involved. A manager later circled my receipt and stated that my order would be refunded. However, no refund was ever processed or received. Between the unsanitary conditions, the lack of concern from staff, and the failure to honor the promised refund, this was a very disappointing and unsettling experience. Cleanliness and basic accountability should never be optional in a restaurant. I would strongly urge management to address sanitation issues and ensure staff take food safety concerns seriously—especially when families are involved.
