Had a nice salmon dinner and a couple of drinks to watch the Dodgers play in the World Series. Which is a precarious proposition as this is a true Padre establishment. From the yellow and brown paint on the building to the Padre lava lamp, Los Reyes is a beacon of fandom for Friar fans. I even had to sign an affidavit that for every time I cheered for the Dodgers my bill would go up 10%. Which is understandable as being perennially the Washington Generals to the Globetrotters would get tiring and make one a bit angry. I would think that acceptance in one's position in life would make things easier but for most brown and gold denial and frustration every year seems to be a settled state. But I am not a hater. The place is great, nice outdoor seating and great margaritas. Lovingly submitted by a fan of a team that will always be your Daddy.

The plate should say enough. Delicious food great customer service best taco shop in san diego. You dont see taco shops like this often. I definitely recommend and advice you come and try you wont regret it 🙌🏽

The food is incredible. King Burritos w/ shrimp and asada 👌🏼 Birria quesadilla w/ consommé was so delicious. House Margaritas are $8 and made with fresh lime.. delicious. Full bar, amazing service, outdoor patio with fountains, nice lighting, and outdoor heaters. Can’t recommend this place enough!

I travel quite a bit and mostly it is to eat 😋😋. Los Reyes have great tasty food. I took a family trip to Arizona and San Diego, I had a bad experience with the food in Sedona ,Arizona but when I got to San Diego I knew I was going to eat good and so I did!! Here era the photos to prove it 😜😜. One of the best fish I ever had in a long time and tacos 🌮 🌮 👍🏼👍🏼.

Burritos and potato tacos are fantastic. Great outdoor seating options. Reasonably priced, friendly service, quick delivery. Fresh. Would definitely recommend for your Mexican food fix. Covered outdoor seating features flat screen tvs and a projector with sporting events.

First time here and got there a few minutes before 11am. My buddy recommended this place and it was good. We ordered chilaquiles divorciados, mine with birria. The plate was brought pretty quickly but not sure if it was because it was early but not a single server came to check on us during our breakfast. I think it’s more of a taco shop than a restaurant since we didn’t have a server but the food was good and Miguel was very polite when he took our order. I want to come back to check out the dinner stuff or some drinks to fully check out what they have to offer some other day.

checking in, this is 5 years after they slipped a whole lime in my burrito, and i vowed to never return. i continue to never return. i also saw on yelp that they slipped a napkin into another customer's food. to the owner: you're either complicit with it or your cooks have no respect for you or your restaurant. messing with people's food, never ever patron them. and also the cook that did that belongs in jail. laugh about it all you want. that's a felony. you guys need to get audited

I've been coming here for years and up until today Los Reyes has been my favorite restaurant but I just had a horrible customer experience today. After calling in a pickup order, getting it, and returning home, after my first bite I discovered I received the wrong order. I'm a vegetarian of 4 years and I always get a veggie breakfast burrito. This burrito even had "veggie" written on the outside wrapper. However, it was a carne asada burrito. Mix ups happen so it wasn't a huge deal but not great considering I'm allergic to meat. So I get back in my car and return to Los Reyes and inform the woman at the front of the mix up. She appears apologetic and says they will make a new one for me. Upon receiving the new burrito I ask if I'll be getting a refund because of the mix up and the wasted time driving around. She throws me a look of disgust and says no and precedes to leave me at the counter as she walks off. Again, mistakes happen but this was a really poor way of dealing with a mistake that could have made me really sick and also wasted my time. I'm really hoping this was a one off experience.

I was really looking forward to trying this taco shop since it’s closer to where I live I usually just go to adalbertos since it’s always great but decided to give this place a try. All I have to say is it was quite disappointing the burrito was small but I understand that different taco shops make them differently so that’s not on them. The problem is I paid around $20 for this California burrito tip included and when I got home to enjoy it. it was just covered in oil I just couldn’t eat it not sure if it’s because they were closer to closing since all orders were to go only but it was pretty upsetting to have spend that amount on a burrito that wasn’t edible. I will say the service my great they greeted me and were very kind the girl at the register had a great attitude and was helpful. Just the food was quite disappointing.

The food was good ,but the drinks were less than subpar. The drinks tasted very watery and no alcohol. Even though the food was good I would not recommend this place. They were very dismissive when I complained about the drinks and told me I would have to pay to have them remake the drinks. Now I see that they are threatening me, but the strawberry margarita was not a virgin margarita it was watery and did not have any alcohol

We came into town visiting and wanted to try a local restaurant. The tacos were great but the margarita I ordered was horrible. Watered down and no taste. When I asked the bartender to remake it he wanted to argue with me and give me a spill on how he’s been making them for 10 years. It ruined the whole meal, honestly.

This place is wayyyy overrated… Food was completely unflavored. The carne asada taco didn’t have carne asada, it was just steam meat; asada = grilled … it’s not rocket science.
