The ice cream here is delicious - especially the chocolate custard. Service was great and the people working there were friendly. When we are in the Mission Valley area we will be returning for ice cream at Paradise Yogurt.
I just happened by here because my kids wanted frozen yogurt and it was on the way back to the house. Best random find! Staff are positively lovely and helpful, the shakes are divine. We will absolutely be back!
I must say, Paradise Yogurt is hands down the best yogurt I've ever tasted. The service is outstanding, and what I love most is their wide variety of yogurt. Theirs something for everyone. There is also enough room for people to enjoy their yogurt without being Crowned by people .Even though it's just yogurt, it tastes just as delicious as ice cream and probably even better than ice cream. Best yogurt with delicious fresh fruit toppings. Really nice family owned business!
Amazing yogurts. You can tell they use quality ingredients!
Had the best fro yo at Paradise Yogurt! The creamiest and best serving I’ve had in years! The most generous toppings as well! Took my whole family! Such a positive experience!
I had a small cup fro yo with 2 toppings. It was a really good amount for the price, I love the vegan/low cal etc. options (something for everybody!) And the girl working today was so lovely!!
Best yogurt store in town. The chocolate custard frozen yogurt is out of this world and the staff are really friendly. A great place to hang out.
I came in tonight with my husband and our two kids and we were met with some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. My husband asked for two samples and the girl behind the counter immediately shot back that he could only have one. He said one was for our daughter and the girl allowed it, but still a weird thing to say to a party of 4. We didn’t think much of it but I continued to read the menu. We were the only people in line but then a woman came in and the girl behind the counter rudely said “so are you not ready?” and I apologized and told the woman behind us to go ahead. After that we ordered and waited for our food and at one point she rudely asked my husband what size he wanted for his cup but we were so puzzled as to what we could have done to upset the girl behind the counter so much. Everything she said to us was dripping with disdain no matter how many “please”s and “thank you”s we gave her. I’m still giving 5 stars because we usually like this place but it made us really consider not stopping in again. I do think they’d do well to add their menu to the outside so you can decide what you want before getting in way of other customers. The menu is so large it makes it tough to pick which I guess makes their employees mad 🙃 We’ll be back but if we’re met with the same unkindness then we’ll find a new place that’s more welcoming.
Love this yogurt place! Feel like I’m in Hawaii with the tropical vibe and the yummy flavors and menu selections are awesome! Cookies warm and fresh out of the oven !!! The book selection is awesome. Staff and owners definitely go the extra mile when your there. My go to place !!!!!!
Bomb Acai bowls! And good non fat yogurt options.
This is one of those places where you look around and wonder how long it's been going. Definitely a local gem, complete with book exchange and quirky island vibes leftover from some past decade. We've been dozens of times and the service is always great. Oh and the yogurt doesn't disappoint.
It's a quirky little yogurt shop with random tropical decorations and a lending library. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Prices are very reasonable. I tried the mango yogurt and chocolate custard, which were both fantastic. I definitely recommend trying them out if you're in the area!
All of my family drive from North County just to get Paradise Yogurt! It’s the very best! Out of town company gets yogurt after the airport pick up and after events downtown? Yogurt, of course! Nothing compares to Paradise yogurt.
They don’t have a large choice of frozen yogurts, but the tastes are always excellent. You don’t want a frozen yogurt, no problem they have many others desserts (açaí bowls, candies…) and what gives them the 5 stars is the large choice of books they offer, free to pickup and read while enjoying your dessert.
Absolutely delicious yogurt ice cream! I wanted something light and simple, and the staff member recommended a cup of plain yogurt with some fruit topping. That was perfect! I will definitely be coming back here often.
My family LOVES Paradise Yogurt! This small, independently owned froyo shop has delicious flavors - my favorite is Chocolate Custard. As a sprinkle lover, I really appreciate that they layer them into my yogurt. 👌 My husband appreciates their gluten free flavors! Parking is easy, there’s plenty of seating, and the staff is super friendly. We’ve been coming here for years. Highly recommend!
Tasty! Acai bowls, sundaes, smoothies, frozen yogurt, cookies and other good stuff. I had an acai bowl, and my wife had a hurricane. Both were excellent. They have their own book lending library.
Awesome late night dessert! They have more than frozen yogurt so come with an appetite. Also, the spoons change colors 🤩
I love this place. They offer such a wonderful sense of community and their employees are so kind. Great froyo, tons of toppings, and plenty of acai bowls + hurricanes to choose from. Absolutely love the salted caramel and any of the tart flavors! 11/10 love you guys!!
My favorite frozen yogurt place! they have vegan options shakes tons of other stuff some of the flavors have that classic tart taste Greek yogurt has! I believe they have sugar-free too! And books for u to read while u enjoy your treat!
Carly was amazingly sweet! She recommended me getting the gummy frogs!! They were delicious!! The entire crew was welcoming and warm! Fro yo was the best I’ve had in SD!
Well great! This was a terrible idea! I'm hooked! Huge bowl for an amazing price! They taste amazing!!! Amazing customer service! They also have a book exchange library! I'll be spending all my money here now 😂

Sadaf 🐚 and Eva were amazing! Great service and even better taste! #Parfait
Best frozen yogurt hands-down! Love all the flavors (especially black cherry!) and love that real fruit and cane sugar are used. Love love love, I go at least 2 times a week❤️
This is the BEST yogurt shop in SD. I love how they always have their staples and that they change out new flavors daily. Their cookies & cream and marshmallow are my favorite outside of the chocolate custard. Go here you will not be disappointed.
Absolutely loved the yogurt ice cream here! 🍦✨ I was in the mood for something light, refreshing, and not too heavy, and this place delivered perfectly. I wasn’t sure what to choose at first, but the staff member kindly suggested a cup of plain yogurt topped with fresh fruit — and it turned out to be exactly what I needed. 🍓🍌 The yogurt was smooth, creamy, and had just the right balance of sweetness and tanginess. Paired with the fruit, it felt fresh and satisfying without being overwhelming. 😊 It’s such a great option when you want a treat that feels a little lighter but still totally delicious. The service was friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. I’m already looking forward to my next visit — this will definitely become one of my regular spots!

Small shop. Great yogurt. I'm diabetic, so I really appreciate sugar free options. Visited twice. First time chocolate fudge. By far the best sugar-free frozen yogurt I've had. Second visit, vanilla was the sugar-free choice. Very good vanilla, vanilla's not my favorite. You can call ahead to see what flavors are available. They change daily. My companions enjoyed their sugared frozen yogurts very much. We go here at least a couple of times each time we visit my sister. They continue to serve the best sugar free frozen yoghurt I've ever had.
This place gives you a good amount of toppings on your frozen yogurt. Tiny location, but there is space outside to enjoy your treat.
Yogurt was ok. Customer service definitely needs to improve. Employees can have a sense of attitude/entitlement.
It was my first time at Paradise Yogurt and I had high hopes but they were soon dashed by the poor service. After trying to decide what to get from the many options, I decided to order a Hurricane. When I did, the woman helping me said that they stopped making them for the night (closing time was 10:30 pm the night I was there). I asked when did they stop making them (out of curiosity and for future reference), she said at 10:00 pm. It was 10:05 pm and I'm confident that isn't a store policy but rather her way of saying that order will mean she'll have to wash a blender that she otherwise wouldn't have to. I ordered a scoop of chocolate and peanut butter each and they were good. My hunch was later confirmed that the unhelpful and unfriendly woman simply wanted to get out of there as soon as possible because she started bringing in the outdoor patio chairs at 10:15 pm, while people were still trying to enjoy their yogurt. It was not a pleasant experience and I would recommend that you go elsewhere for your frozen treats.
The staff at this establishment was unfriendly and unhelpful. When we asked for tester cups, they refused to answer. We asked again, and they answered impolitely and walked away.

I’ve been going to Paradise Yogurt for a few years and loved it. However, lately their employees have been unwelcoming and short to say the least. The yogurt and ingredients are still high quality but the amounts you get now is less than half of what you would get for the same cup size.
I had to edit review because the new ownership is bad. They charge a ridiculous amount for additional toppings, are greedy with samples, too many rules and surcharges. If you want business, be nice to customers and avoid being greedy.
I came in after a long date wanting just a little sweet treat. I got a mini strawberry cone. There was maybe a 1/3cup of basic frozen yogurt on my cone and it was $5.15 cash. This place is a big rip off. You're better off going to McDonald's or a self serve frozen yogurt location.
Horrible customer service. We came in and there were a good 3 customers before us that we’re all annoyed with the service as well. When we got to ordering they were rushing us even though it was our first time there. I wanted a hurricane which is blended ice cream and my toppings to be placed on top instead of blended (a simple request) they said they couldn’t do that even though their was no reason that they couldn’t. The lady talking our order huffed and puffed and smacked her textbook down on the table as if she was the one being annoyed. I will never be back again, our day was going great until we came to get frozen yogurt here. Horrible staff, horrible experience. Would not recommend.
I came in yesterday morning, i was very displeased by the cashier with the blue hair, her attitude was very unwelcoming & unkind. She didn’t try to make my order look appealing, my cup of yogurt with fruit topping & it was most syrup with no pieces of fruit, it looked very different from how i usually get it, to add on it my partners smoothie was very milky, i already was so upset i didn’t tip when i usually always do. I’ve came here before with my partner various times and we’ve never had this issue with the other young ladys. Very disappointed for the professionalism that a shop business is supposed to acquire.
Let me start with i love the ice cream. Its my favorite place to eat ice cream at and i have been a customer for years now but the reason i am leaving this review is for the owner to know about the girls who works there. I go literally every week and i am an influencer i sent alot of people to this place. I ordered today for me a small cone my husband and my daughter two cups. I got everything cup so i went back very nicely told her I ordered a cone she responded i saw on the paper says cup i can only give you a cone and you eat it with the cup but i am not going to re do it ! I am like i said cone its not my problem what the cashier heard i want a cone ! She responded she charged you for a cup I said i dont care i will pay difference then very rudely make me a cone thats looks like a mini and give it to me then I checked prices says small cup swirl and small cone same price !!! Please owner change your employees or teach them manner. You have a wonderful place so please don’t ruin it with hiring rude un polite people…..
***Updated Review*** Switched it up on me :( I haven’t been in a couple of months; which says a lot I used to go daily. I feel nickeled and dimed to death. The prices have also increased. I recently ordered what I order always on door dash and they charged me an additional $4? It’s sad as I really loved this place initially, but I no longer feel welcomed. Previous Review: Off the heezy fosheezy Alicia made my time at paradise yogurt wonderful! I’ve ordered from here on door dash several times but this was one of the first times I went in person—In the past, I’ve ordered the San Diego açaí bowl and a Caribbean parfait (pictured below). But this time in particular, I wanted to add two more fruits to maximize flavor! Alicia was so helpful. She gave me exactly what I asked for and made it with love. She was attentive to my needs and really listened to give me exactly what I wanted. I had high expectations for the in person experience since the DoorDash has always been so good! Thanks to Alicia, Paradise Yogurt did not disappoint 🤗
I have been a loyal customer of Paradise Yogurt for many years, as evidenced by the photo of my current reward card! As a business owner, I know the value of having repeat, long term customers....but in the last few months, the employees at the store have made it most unpleasant for me to return to the store. They are disrespectful, argumentative, unwelcoming... not to mention Cheap! In fact I actually dread going to Paradise and having to deal with them. The portions they give are completely hinged on how they feel about you. Separately, they refuse to change my reward card, despite the fact that this card is structurally unusable at this point. Has the owner of the store vacated on the employees or do the workers actually reflect the owners lack of interest in customer service? Having frozen yogurt for many people, is a fun part of one's day. Paradise Yogurt puts out every effort to taint the experience. Does anyone have an alternative store which might generate a better energy? Willing to travel. Thanks!

*HAIR* No hair nets worn by the two female servers. Didn't think about it until after a few bites, when we found a hair in the fudge under the frozen yogurt. Long, straight, and jet black; neither me nor my friend have that color or texture. We told one of the servers. She went and got the other server that took the order. Second server had an attitude, asked the person I was with the move the cup off the counter & into the trash. He had to ask twice for a refund. No apologies; no remake. No accommodation whatsoever for a health violation. We left thoroughly disgusted and disappointed. Reply to owners: learn accountability; and then teach it to your employees. If I was a hater I'd say hope you go out of business soon. Your reply along with customer service; I know I don't have to say anything hateful. You will be your own downfall.
I ordered a small yogurt in a cone, but they gave it to me in a cup instead. Both girls were extremely rude and impolite. Not only did they refuse to correct the order, but they also handed us an empty cone and told us to fix it ourselves, without any courtesy.
I dont understand how I ordered a acai bowl and I live literally across the street from this place! Put it in the refrigerator as soon as I got home for 2 hours and its soupy! Like everything in my fridge is frozen expect that! Poor quality unsatisfied! Worst acai bowl i ever had the flavor is trash too!
This place keeps raising their prices and I won’t go there anymore. Seems like every three months. The greedy owner keeps braising the price because she’s the only one around the area but she’s really not. There’s other places I’d rather drive further to get Yogurtland is way better and way more choices. Scratch this one off the list. I’m quite aware of reality and as a matter of fact, we can compare pricing what you’re doing and what others are doing around San Diego. $5.50 for a mini yogurt that probably cost you $.50 is ridiculous. You can make up all the scenarios you like but the reality is other places aren’t gouging , I went to Yogurtland and got the same amount for three dollars but thank you for trying to defend your reality not everyone else’s.
Tried three flavors, all were gross. Overly sweet and started to melt immediately. They couldn't even hold it's shape it was that soft but besides that it was just gross and twice the price as yogurtland .
I came here for ice cream and had a terrible experience. The two ladies working were rude, aggressive, and careless. They gave me the wrong order and didn’t even bother to fix their mistake. No attention to customers and very poor service
I have never experienced something like tonight. I am a very frequent customer, I come twice a week and have with my entire family since we were young. I go in tonight at 9 PM, and I notice that a new flavor is Sugar Free. I ask the employee that is regularly there, is this sugar free? And she answers very crossly, like it is obvious. It is not on the flavour board, so there was no way of knowing. So I ask for the sugar free “Caramel” and “Chocolate fudge”. I bite into it immediately, and I realize it is regular. I am a diabetic, I have always loved Paradise because it does not spike my blood sugar. I ask them, can I please have sugar free. She takes it away without saying annytjng after hesitating and then she barks that Caramel is not sugar free either (the one that i ordered). I tell her, Caramel is DISPLAYED NEXT to cookies in cream with a SUGAR FREE label. The menu is not updated. I am diabetic like I mentioned— Why are they being so impolite about a mistake? She throws my frozen yogurt in the trashcan and gives me half the amount (which i do not mind as you are always very generous with your portions), I start to get nervous, I tell her I am here three times a week as a customer and she just walks away. I am very upset as this is some of my favorite yogurt. I have always loved supporting them as they are a woman owned small business in a big mall.
