Great food and friendly staff. The 5 rolled tacos place is soo much food! They are not shy on the guacamole and lettuce it comes with. The chile Relleno burrito was 🔥🔥🔥 Great place especially after shopping at IKEA all day!
One of my favorite spots to eat, never an issue with the food. It's all great. I also go to the other location in rancho Bernardo.
We love their street tacos! The restaurant is charming and clean, and the service is always great! Will definitely come back when we return to the area.
Very reasonably priced and delcious carne asada burrito ($11.50). Guacamole was great in the burrito and steak was tender and flavorful! Along with the order, they also give you 6 2oz cups for the salsa bar and chips. Good variety of salsas too! Will go again!!!
Best place to eat in that whole plaza. Always come here after a game at Snapdragon. Super friendly cashier, he’s patient and kind and funny! I wonder if he’s the owner. Great service. Clean place, awesome vibe, free chips and delicious salsa bar. The food is amazing. Worth checking out if you’re in the area.
Food was fresh and healthy (we got fish and shrimp tacos), the girl ringing us up was not only nice and helpful, but went above and beyond in her job. Man who brought out our food also brought us different stuff from the salsa bar. Great food and experience!
We arrived 10 minutes before closing but no one made us feel uncomfortable and the food was great. We will come back for sure. Manager was very welcoming and we live across the street and will be back. Thank you
Love love love this place and these guys! The service is always excellent and they are so sweet. Their food is also yummy. My go to recently has been their carne asada burrito. I love how they cook their carne. Their breakfast is also pretty good, my go to for that is their Huevos rancheros or breakfast burrito. This restaurant is definitely a staple in this area and must try!
Just finished my WET carne Asado burrito that was 🔥 Without asking they made sure it's extra meat extra guacamole , all fresh and tastes amazing!!!
Super friendly staff & good food!! Street tacos al pastor, carnitas & carne asada burrito was great!!
Love their carne asada nachos and menudo. Salsa is very spicy but has a good flavor.
Nice newer taco shop type place. Ordered a veggie burrito and it was really good. Good place for lunch when running errands to Costco, IKEA, and Lowe’s in the area.
Well, the doordash pickup drivers lining up for customers' orders cued me that something yummy was going on. And foodie peeps, I was not disappointed. And neither will you be. 🫘Beans yummy, Rice 🍚 yummy, guacamole so yummy. Delicious tortillas. And tender carne asada like few other places provide! Sooo Good. And a very generous portion as well. I ate until I was happily satisfied. From spicey to mild, Robert's Jalapeño can meet all taste levels. Plenty of seats indoors and outdoors. And parking for all needs.
We stopped by after a trip to IKEA. I was so happy we did. The people working there are so friendly and helpful. The food was quick and honestly so good. I had the carnitas plate and my daughter had a chile relleno. Both were very very good. I am definitely going to be going back.
First time here and I must say it was delicious. I love the customer service. You get that family feeling from the owner and staff. The salsa bar was so good. The sauces were freshly made so you can taste the heart and soul. I had the Al Pastor taco and the corn tortillas were fresh. I would definitely recommend this place. Eat there then walk it off in IKEA.
This restaurant just opened within the last couple of months. I had driven by it many times and finally was able to try it out. I ordered the Chorizo burrito to go. The burrito was packed and was delicious. The inside of the restaurant is clean and tidy. Erick helped me out at the register, he was friendly and helpful. I want to come back and try the nachos or carne asada fries. Thank you for the good experience! Eat up!!!
First time trying this place out and I’m glad I did, Mexican food is already great but when you make it “clean” and with good quality ingredients it takes it up a notch and that’s what this place did. Like some other people I also really like that they throw in guacamole for free. They also throw in chips and the salsa is excellent as well. Great place if you’re looking for a good Mexican meal or just looking good for a place with a cool environment.
Very pleased with this place!! Got the 3 street taco deal. Originally gonna order only carnitas, but the guy recommended carne asada so I got both. Carne asada was indeed the best! Carnitas was good, just needed a bit more salt to bring out the flavor imo. I’m a sucker for guacamole so I was so pleased it was included for free. Portion sizes for the price were very generous. I got full for $10. I’ll be back!
First time trying this place out. I got the carne asada fries and my friend got the California burrito. I thought they were both great. The customer service really stood out as well. The man behind the counter was very helpful and wasn’t stingy with the salsa.
I love this new location in San Diego by Costco! The marlin taco was amazing with a delicious smokey and savory flavor (didn't last long enough to get a picture) and the carne asada fries were loaded up with generous guacamole and pico de gallo. Highly recommend with the salsa diabla!
First want to start off that I have came multiple timed and ordered different items off of the menu, The food is Amazing! And not to mention the staff is just as great! 🔥🔥🔥 It's a great spot and positive vibes all around, I would recommend everyone come here!♥️♥️🫶🏼 If you like drinking, try the Micheladas, so far one of the best I have tried here in San Diego!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
The workers are very friendly! Great customer service the food is awesome! I ordered the Adobada Burrito & the family got the California Burrito. The place is clean.
The BEST burritos in town. Hands down. Especially their California burrito and breakfast burrito! So excited there is one in mission valley now!! And they have great customer service. Very friendly staff and they let you order customized items!

Super convenient after Costco when too tired to go home and cook lol! Good al pastor and carne asada, salsa verde, and great staff. Newer to SD and I'm learning that the tacos at most places are huge! Mini or street tacos are the normal size to me. Burritos are just meat and guac- very rarely do they come with rice or beans. Seems to be the norm here, I don't think it should be considered a negative for this restaurant in particular.
Loved the food so yummy & the salsa is devine. The workers are very friendly felt like i was at home.. The girl in front was really helpful and attentive!!

the best fish battered tacos in in San Diego. They have an excellent octopus ceviche. Everything I've eaten is very good they also have very good beer on tap.
The staff is nice. Helpful. Food was made quick! I tried the surf and turf burrito but with chicken instead of carne asada... Put the sauce on the side of you're not into a little heat. * I wish a container of salsa came with the chips and salsa not just the little cups for the salsa bar.
I ordered a shrimp bowl and diet coke. I was given a complimentary order of fresh nacho chips & there is a salsa bar with 4 items. I sat at the counter with comfy soft swivel bar stools, but there are a few tables & booths.

Quite expensive for what you get, which is lukewarm food. This is really a takeout place with seats. Food would have tasted better if piping hot, especially if eating there. $55 for 2 enchiladas, 2 taco, one wet burrito and two sides of beans, two soda and a beer is pretty steep when served on paper plates and utensils with no table service or even ice available. At least they have mole sauce. C'mon guys, if the food ain't steamin', I'm leavin!
The food was good enough. Service was not great. Person at the order counter wasn't very friendly, the person who brought out my food didn't bring utensils with it, said I would need to go inside to get it myself as he was too busy. 😐. It was my first time there, not sure I'll go back.
Ordered Al pastor tacos and a Squirt. Portions were large, but I didn’t like any of their salsas. I’d say its convenient location makes it appealing.
This is the second location. The first location is in north county and has a great reputation for carne asada. We got one fist taco, chicken flautas plate and carne asada chips. The fish taco was big, had all the usual toppings except the white sauce was runny. Not creamy like what I’m used to but still delicious. Flautas are my fav and not many places offer that. So when I see it, I must order. I was impressed by the presentation. It had sour cream, guacamole, olives, diced tomato, shredded cheese, no lettuce. But I was not impressed with the taste. It was one wide flauta which resembled two pieces. I took my first bite and I couldn’t take another. The shell was deep fried too long and the chicken had this smell like it was boiled not fresh. I’m sure it’s pretty good and we went on a bad day but I never give up on flautas and I did. It was also dark meat like chicken thighs which I love. Not sure if I’ll give this a second try. Maybe try beef. The carne asada chips were good. I’m not into the chips but the meat was charred and flavorful. Had melted cheese, beans, sour cream and guacamole. It was a lot of food. What’s cool about this place is that you get complimentary chips and salsa while you wait. Their salsa is amazing. The mild green sauce, red hot sauce, pico de gallo, and picante pico de gallo. For drinks, they offer beer. You can sit at the bar and watch sports on tv. I have never gotten horchata in a bottle before. This brand is pretty good. It wasn’t overly sweet.
First time trying. Let me start by saying that the staff was notably friendly and attentive. The establishment is new and kept clean. Indoor and outdoor seating options including a bar with some seating as well. I only ordered one item which was the Chimichanga with Carne Asada. On the high notes, it was well fried and there had to have been an entire porterhouse of steak in it! That being said, that was all that was inside. The cheese, guacamole, sourcream, and olives are all cold toppings. My biggest letdown was ordering it with "Diablo sauce" which says extra hot. Let me say for a place called Jalapeños, there was zero heat. They graciously give chips and have a salsa bar. I was chasing each bite with salsa to try to find heat, but of the four salsas, they are mild at best. The menu is massive though, so there's plenty of other options. I'd say if you're in San Diego with so many options this would be very low on my list for Mexican. It's quite a generic chainlike establishment to me. I definitely left full though and it was not bad if your in the area for a quick bite.

Food here is great but don’t order to go, the girl up front always forget something. Ordered a shrimp cocktail, only for them not to pack me any saltine crackers, but when I order it in store, they make sure to give me plenty.
No one knows whats real Mexican food today..... I was born and raised in El Cajon and only spot I've ever go to is Valero's. This is why I never try new Mexican food places.... This food is gross. You want real 🌮🌯 Mexican food go to elcajon where Valero's is. Prices are better and sauces hot carrots 🥕 everything is 10 times better than this place. They don't use steak 🥩 in their burritos and the fried chimichanga style burrito with soggy and gross. Their hot sauce isnt hot and is plain.
I really wanted to like this place, but my experience was disappointing, to say the least. I ordered a carnitas burrito, and while the ingredients themselves seemed fresh and well-prepared, my meal was completely ruined when I found a large piece of plastic wrap inside my food. Finding something like that in a burrito is not only unappetizing but also a serious health hazard. It made me question the level of care and attention being put into food preparation here. Mistakes happen, but this is the kind of oversight that shouldn't. Unfortunately, this experience made it impossible for me to enjoy my meal, and I won’t be returning. If you decide to eat here, check your food carefully.
Order a carne asada burrito, literally just meat and guac. I’ve never had a burrito with just this. Over seasoned and just taste a weird. It was also very small, for $14 I just can’t accept this is what they are giving people.
My food was open and the employee threw the matt on the floor raising dust particles. Not hygenic and lack of poor training. I used to frequent this restaurant for a long time. Underwhelmed for this to happen when people are trying to eat. The employees don't know how to respond situations like this including the staff in the restaurant as thats a third party company. Both equally failed. If hygiene is a must. Tamales are a safe bet. The ceviche was clean and fresh. I can tell as it's not dressed with seasonings to cover up the fish fridge taste others do.
