First off. If you dont meet Larry then you have failed to meet the entire experience (Jasmine included). This place is an absolute 12/10, it is a place i will plan to visit over and over again, the owner, Jasmine, and Larry make this place feel like you are in the same Cafe from the Friends TV series, its completely comfortable, Amazing Food! ( I heavily recommend the Pork Belly Benedict! The pork belly is absolutely perfect and quite LITERALLY melts in your mouth, next time I wanna see if they will sub the maple syrup for hollandaise.) The entire place has beautiful decorations and hidden little designs all over. You have to go!
Dope spot. Wills have loved to have more time to check out the night scene too. The brunch was amazing though! I got the pork belly Benedict fire! And we got the country fried steak delicious.
Best Bar and Brunch spot in San Diego. Was in town for a conference and actually visited this place twice. Jasmine was very polite and attentive. When we came back the next night they had karaoke and it was such a blast. Loved this place so much I bought a dang sweater. Also comics on the wall were pretty darn cool too!!
Very interesting little pub with great, attentive staff. Good music and a well stocked bar. Inexpensive and good portions. MAKE RESERVATIONS!
This is a good place for a burger. Here you get a non pretentious burger that actually tastes great. The service is impeccable and personal. Timing to get the food is also the way it should be. Their burgers are not greasy nor feel like they came of the freezer. The portions are generous but not that big that you would leave half the food on the plate or go home feeling like a stuffed turkey. The place is clean and the Music still allows you to keep a conversation going. Prices are reasonable too. Definitely a place to come back.
Justin was bartending and provided excellent service and beer recommendations. Overall vibe is eclectic and lively. Great place to hang in the evenings with 90s-2010s mix playing during dinner/happy hour and live Karaoke after 9 pm every night.
Werewolf is a great bar and restaurant in the Gaslamp area. We went in for brunch. They allow dogs in the inside restaurant as long as they stay on the floor. The service was amazing. You walk in the door and the staff all gives some sort of greeting. It makes you feel good in the morning. On top of the staff they even had a live DJ. The music was at a volume you could enjoy and also talk. For the dogs they provided a water bowl. As we were there for breakfast, we tried the Pork Belly Benedict with added avocado, short stack, and the blue plate. The Pork Belly Benedict was a twist on the original. It has no Hollandaise Sauce. But, don’t worry it is still really good. The pork is like eating a thick savory bacon slice. Definitely add the avocado. It comes on three English muffin halves. We definitely need to return for lunch, dinner, or cocktail hour!
I was in town for retirement and my wife and I chose to visit this bar! The staff greeted us with a smile and so did the other patrons. My wife likes whiskey sours and the bartender made her one that “knocked her socks off”! The food was really good and the portion sizes were really good! This is a great place to hang out and have a good time!
I came here from the first time, and Ruby was my bartender/server. Definitely a assest to this business. Very welcoming and makes you feel right at home! The atmosphere was great and I definitely enjoyed my visit here. This will be my new to go to bar/restaurant when I want to visit downtown. Cheers to many more! 🍻
This is a very fun venue. The karaoke setup was very easy to use, in the environment is very fun. Drinks were good and reasonably priced.
Went there last weekend during a conference, and it was amazing! Service was beyond great, and the food was tasty. Huge portions also, may want to share a plate, or just take home those leftovers! We all tried the biscuits and gravy, steak and eggs, and burrito (based on our waitresses suggestions) and they were all so good. Can't wait to visit again! Also, the espresso martinis and mimosas hit the spot
Very lovely place for breakfast n brunch with good music and decent food options. You can usually walk in without a reservation and will need to place your order at the bar counter particularly for breakfast. They allow pets so you will find a few lovely dogs on weekends or holidays. We were there on 31st Dec morning and got a free drink to toast the new year.
Extremely friendly service with great food. My friend and i came here for breakfast during our visit to San Diego after Googling some of the best breakfast locations. We looked at the brunch menu (which ended at 3pm) and I ordered the cake and eggs, and they asked me if I wanted the pancakes "homer style," and i was curious so i said YES. I'm so glad i decided to be adventurous because it came with 2 pancakes covered in doughnut icing and sprinkles, and a layer of raspberry jam in between. The eggs were also fluffy and delicious, and the bacon was perfectly crispy. My friend ordered the blue plate which came with eggs, potatoes, bacon, and a biscuit. We walked up to the register to put in our orders, they gave us a number for our table, and we sat down. The wait wasn't long at all, and i think every single server stopped by our table to check on us. They were extremely caring and thoughtful. Great experience!
We went for a Tuesday brunch. The staff was so friendly! It was bar service only. We sat outside but had to order our own food/drinks in at the bar. No biggie, saved on tips! The food was so freaking good. Highly recommend the breakfast burrito or the pork belly w/ poached eggs. Inside has a gas monkey/ retro garage feel. There is tons of outdoor seating which is primarily from covid-19.
I was looking for a place for myself and my son to have breakfast before the game. Most places this early are closed downtown. I’m so happy we picked werewolf !! My son LOVED his cinnamon pancakes and I loved how easy it was for them to accommodate my diet. Fiona was our waitress and loved her ! I really liked the personal touch of the staff asking our names as well! Overall great place and I’ll be back with the hubby before another game! Edited to say I took the entire family. Hubby, our 4 kids, grandson and son in law. This time Ruby was our waitress and she was amazing and welcoming as well. Everyone had a blast and loved the food and atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back And do a karaoke night!!
First place we stopped when we came to the city. It was a Saturday morning so there was a bit of a wait. During our wait there was a table with cups and water which was different. I definitely had a couple cups during the wait. There was also a DJ there to supplement the vibes. All old school pop/hip-hop. I was with a party of 6, they sat us on the outside seating which was cool. We had Jordan as our waiter, super cool guy. He had A1 service and made sure we enjoyed our every bite. The other server(don’t remember her name) was also assisting him by making sure we were good too. That type of teamwork between servers really make the dining experience great. Once the food came out it was sooooooo good that we all were happy we waited to eat here lol.
Grabbed a bottle of champagne for mimosas for $15 to share was a great brunch buzz; it's nice not to pay per glass, but instead per bottle 👌. A kind & friendly staff member brought us in from the street from this hype alone, when asking what was popular 🎉. There were plenty of flavors to choose from. We tried classic orange, as well as mango and passion fruit. The menu had too many delicious items to choose from. There's an awesome shot wheel to spin with great options for $5 (I feel like there's no losing here, even a $40+ option). This was great for indecisive people like me. The table next to us ordered from the shot wheel. The waiter announced it to the bar, rung a bell, and the gal spun. Later the next person won a 40 dollar shot! 😲 🤯 It was quite fun to try some new shots out I got a Scooby snack, and the gf got a Vegas bomb, both which we hadn't tried before ^__^ The werewolf has a great atmosphere & staff (came during the day a couple of times). The playlist felt like a 90's kids throwback which was nice for us 🤘 Ran back for a midnight snack after a show at the waterfront park because Little Italy was too packed. Stumbled into karaoke night too. 🎤👨🎤👩🎤🧑🎤🎶 Can't go wrong here. They've got some great stuff going on. We'll definitely be back next time we visit. Thanks y'all.
This place is awesome! I can't stop thinking about their Elote burger. The staff was all dressed up in Halloween costumes and they were so kind to us when we had a fan meetup here. 11/10, I'll be back every year
Pretty good, the dessert wasnt much my taste but the actual breakfast was great. edit: no need to change anything, i should have read the item properly, never have been a fan of jelly
1st the music playlist provided such a vibe 2nd our server Jazmine was super nice, great attitude, attentive & friendly, my son also thought she was a cutie 3rd oh my the food was perfect ..... we ordered sliders salads buffalo cauliflower spicy chicken sandwich & chicken strips aaannnddddd the tiramisu martini was the best. Everything was YUMMY IN THE TUMMY!!!
We love this place. We took a flight from Vegas to San Diego just to come here and have brunch, and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Esther was our server (please request her), she was attentive and informative. The manager Amber was very hospitable. The food was amazing. We had the Pork Belly Eggs Benedict, the Steak Scramble, and the Homer Pancakes with a side of the Breakfast Balls. Oh, we also got the peanut butter and jelly (by the pics you can tell we couldn't even wait to dig in). We ordered different flavored mimosas. We will be back to enjoy this place again.
The food was amazing and so was the service. I ordered the eggs benedict and my husband had the country fried steak. We shared our plates. It was delicious. Country fried steak was juicy, not dry at all. The eggs benedict was so flavorful too. Definitely would come back for those two dishes again
An overall satisfied visit and a great spot to end my work conference back a few months ago Was heading to another spot when I bumped into my colleagues that asked if I wanted to join and I wanted to check this spot out as well, so it worked out. The interior is cozy but such a vibe. Could definitely see it being lively here at night Food was amazing. I had the pork belly Benedict and the pork belly was so perfect. Nice chunks of fat with the meaty bites present as well. Combined that with an aperol spritz and it came out to be a perfect meal Service was excellent. Waitress really took care of us and everything that we needed. Great job overall!
Walked in and the atmosphere was cool and calm. It was early so no one was really there, but they were expecting a large party in about an hour. We found seats by the window and enjoyed all the items, writing on the wall and inflatable items sitting high up on the wall. The waitress was kind, gave us time to get things together and help with choosing our order. The wait for the food wasn’t bad at al; I got the wings (sticky), and a pineapple mimosa. My daughter got a pancake (huge, only needed one) and my husband ordered a meal that came with biscuits, potatoes, eggs, and bacon. Everything was delicious, although I should have asked to fry the chicken hard - just my preference-. Everything came up to $40. The portion sizes were pretty healthy for that price to be so low! They also have karaoke at 9pm, so we will be back -sorry kiddos, this is adults only 💕
One of the best pancakes I’ve ever had in San Diego! It’s fluffy, doughy and light! I really enjoyed the atmosphere here, service is nice too. I came here before a long time ago, I had their signature pork belly Benedict, and biscuits & gravy. To be honestly, I love their pancakes better, probably the pork belly is kind of heavy for me. I don’t like bacon anyways. But if you are a pancake lover, you have to try their pancakes out!
Were Wolf American Pub 10 out of 10 will visit again. It's basically a bar. Very eclectic in decorating. The music was good. Not so loud you can't talk over it. But everything from Stray Cats, Guns and Roses to Zeppelin! The walls are fun to read. Full of signatures is kind of amusing. Our server was Moe. She is amazing, super cheerful, and made great recommendations!! When she suggested the Benedicts. I said I am not a fan of benedicts or the hollandaise sauce they normally use. She got this little smile and said, "We don't make our benedicts like most places. If you don't like it let me know. I will take care of it." I ordered the Pork belly benedict. It doesn't look like there is much to it. It WILL fill you up! It is fantastic! The pork belly is cooked so smooth with a smoky crispness. The potato is really the star if this dish it is crunchy, seasoned to perfection with that maple glaze to sweeten it. This could be served stand-alone. When that yoke pops the richness just elevates that whole dish. This is a WoW! Dish My spouse ordered the Chilaquilez Roja. The tostada was light and well cooked even being corn it was not grainy at all. The flavors hit in layers you can taste the salsa, then the cheese, then the Pork belly (our choice) on it brings that fatty sweet smoky taste to it. This is a must-try!!
I’m a harsh critic of biscuits and gravy so these were ok. Everything else was great. Lemon blueberry pancakes were eaten up quick!! Fiona was super helpful and kind as well as the man bartending with her but I didn’t catch his name (lean build about 5’10 black man with very nice grounded energy). Good vibes, solid food. Would return just to sit in the window seat again with a bevy because I luv ppl watching.
If I could give 10 stars, I would! I heard great things about it and online photos passed the test. But it's the atmosphere and folks working there that really make it such an awesome spot. The best vibe and energy for brunch! Specific shout out to Michael - he probably made up 9 out of those 10 stars. He was the best!! Everyone working there was friendly and helpful but he made it memorable 🌟The food was stupid good. Im a freak for chicken fried steak. Don't think, just order it and know you'll be full and happy the rest of the day. 🙌
We decided to visit Werewolf after reading great reviews, seeking refuge from the eternal waitlist at Morning Glory. The huge advantage of being able to join the Yelp waitlist through the app made our decision even easier, and we certainly didn't regret it. It was the perfect start to our day with our out-of-town friends, and we had an absolute blast. The ambiance was lively and fun, especially as our friends were celebrating their engagement. Our wonderful server even brought shots for them, announcing their engagement to the whole restaurant. If it was so much fun during brunch, I'm curious to explore it at night! As for the food, OMG, we loved absolutely everything! The chilaquiles were incredibly tasty, while my husband and one of our friends thoroughly enjoyed the California burrito. The soon-to-be-bride ordered the Country Fried Steak, and I believe she's still raving about it. Overall, Werewolf is a definite 10/10 spot to visit.
This was a great experience for a NYE brunch. The waiter Brock gave us a 10/10 experience with good recommendations and positive interactions. Everything we at was great, the donut pancakes and steak and eggs were delicious. Would recommend!
A great place for brunch! We visited Werewolf during an early morning on Friday. The restaurant wasn't busy. The service was great and the food was delicious. The pork belly Benedict was incredible! There were 3 large pieces of thick cut bacon which were savory yet sweet. Highly recommended!
Really good and thought out bar food. The Pork Belly Nachos and Grilled Garlic Ginger wings are really good. You can make the wings sticky for $1, it's like a honey Sriracha glaze which isn't super spicy and adds a little kick. Pretty good beer selection and some tasty cocktails. They even have non alcoholic cocktails which are pretty good. Went on a karaoke night and the vibe was great.
What a fun place to have breakfast! The service was so good. Everyone makes you feel so welcome. And the vibe was so fun. Everyone had a glass of mimosa and just chatting amongst each other. I highly recommend!
Wow….this place just has a great vibe and atmosphere! We have it a try for brunch this morning. The service was great and the servers were super friendly. The selection for brunch was not overly broad but we had plenty of items to try and enjoy. The music was fun and it’s a great place to enjoy a meal. We would definitely come back.
Werewolf American Pub in San Diego's Gaslamp District is a must-visit! Their brunch, served daily until 3 PM, is top-notch, offering a variety of delicious options. The menu features elevated pub fare with unique twists on traditional brunch items, making each dish memorable. They also offer a fantastic selection of gluten-free items, including GF buns and GF pancakes, ensuring everyone can enjoy their amazing food. We especially enjoyed their cocktails — they have a great menu featuring both classic favorites and creative, unique drinks that are perfect for any occasion. A special shoutout to Fiona, who was absolutely the best server! Her friendly hospitality vibe, impressive gluten-free knowledge, and attentive service made our experience even better. Plus, they offer $12 flat-rate parking with validation at the Horton Plaza Garage for up to 3 hours. Highly recommend checking it out!
Every single person working there was so friendly. I loved the biscuits and gravy. It was a lot of food, we could have split it. My husband got the chilaquiles, and that was also fantastic. The steak on that dish was excellent. They have a unique list of strong cocktails. There is plenty to take in decoration wise. The DJ at brunch was a great addition too. I'd love to go back.
Whenever my husband and I are in town we stop here at LEAST twice during our trip. We love this place so much we always end up there longer than planned 😁. Food is fun and on point, music is fantastic, and the staff is the best in San Diego! Sad to see a couple of our guys have moved on but Taylor is there holdin' it down!
We love this spot it's a heavy handed and very happy high volume space where the entire wait staff works well together to make things happy for you who patron it! They have the biggest and best portions. We recomend the Bloody Mary and the Bottle Of Champagne accompanied with the breakfast burrito and tacos! They have a great dj and even sell hush puppies which for those of you from the south, it's so nice to see on the west coast! Our server Amber has the best memory when you tell her an order she actually remembers every single detail of it which for being such a high volume place we found this very impressive. We will be back, Amber! You make this place great!
If you’re looking for a spot in San Diego where you actually feel like a VIP from the moment you walk in, Werewolf on 4th Ave is it! I came here recently to celebrate my birthday, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. I have never felt so welcomed at a restaurant. We were greeted immediately, and the level of hospitality was next-level. Every single staff member who passed our table took the time to stop, introduce themselves, ask for our names, and chitchat for a moment. It wasn't just "service” it felt like we were hanging out with friends. A huge shoutout to Moe, our bartender, and the rest of the bar staff. They were incredible! They even surprised me with a birthday shout out and birthday shot, which made me feel so appreciated and taken care of. Brunch is a Must! Pork Belly Egg Benedict: My fiancé ordered this, and it is highly recommended! The flavors were spot on. Steak Scramble: I had this and absolutely loved it. Everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth, the crew at Werewolf goes out of their way to make sure you have a great time. Between the friendly vibes, the personal touches, and the delicious brunch, this is easily one of my new favorite spots in SD.
Visited during my last night at San Diego. It was a Monday evening so it wasn’t packed but there were a few regulars. The bartender was attentive. The vibe overall was so so so fun! There was karaoke going on, the DJ that night was new and accidentally skipped the first song I sung but we laughed it off and he had me sing another song! Tip your DJs!! I would definitely return on a weekend evening I know it would just be so fun!
Great spot! Lots of good appetizers and they have a happy hour. We had the hush puppies, pretzels and queso, sliders, and Cali burrito. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs but was so worth it! I had the Lite Brite cocktail which was super good with a very cool presentation. My partner had at their beer selection which has a lot of options. They have some seating outside and are dog friendly which made it a win for our visit with our pup! Service was great and vibes were chill. We went in the early evening so it wasn't too busy and very easy to find a spot.
Delicious food and craft cocktails — this place is a must try if you’re nearby. The Sans La Croute is the most amazing dish you will not regret it! It’s an uncrustable that’s been French toasted and it is incredible!! The Double Bloody Maria and Something in Bloom were delicious — we will be back every chance we get!
Great!!!!!! can't say enough about this place T.i.T's all around and I'm talking food, drinks, service and ambiance. At 1 point they brought a D.J. in during tha Brunch and I was like music is already chill. Just 2 get put on a whole new level of yea that's it...... Go there ..... that's an order!!
Went here for the first time prior to a Padres game. It was between parking and the stadium with good reviews, so we figured we’d try it. We thankfully missed the rush and were able to get startled relatively early. The multiple TVs made my need to follow my football pool easy and the staff were truly top notch. Add to that delicious food (we got the Cali Burritio and cinnamon roll pancakes and were so pleased! The music was bumping, which added to the fun. We’ll be back!
Best brunch in the Gaslamp Quarter! Our server John was a delight, with warm energy and a big smile. We got the pork belly eggs benedict and the triple threat burger. The fries are as tasty as McD’s but thicker, and the pork belly was perfectly tender. Also enjoyed the espresso martini and Irish coffee. A must visit spot!!
Man this bar is super cool! The vibe and the staff are both awesome! It was definitely very popular and even louder! They played music at lunch time and had a DJ during breakfast. But even if you're not into the vibe, you should go here for the FOOD! It was all absolutely 10/10 we loved it. Try the country fried steak for brunch or the sliders for lunch!
Wonderful place to grab brunch. The dj was a fun touch. Make sure you get on the list ahead of arrival because it is busy. I had the Irish coffee which was pretty good but their regular cup of coffee was one of the best I've had in a while. I also had the chicken hash which was delicious and had tons of chicken, I definitely recommend it.
This place saved us when we got turned down from another diner for some late breakfast / brunch food. We did not have reservations and they were willing to seat us and quickly! To start off with drinks we ordered the World Famous Irish Coffee and the Espresso Martini. The Irish Coffee is a little on the sweeter side so would recommend the martini if you’re not into that. My bf also ordered the Werewolf Double Bloody and was served in this skull mug, very cool! For brunch we ordered the Pork Belly Benedict , which was both sweet and salty. The potato cake underneath really complemented it well! Th Steak Scramble was well seasoned and serviced with a side of flour tortilla. You can make your own mini breakfast tacos! To be extra we had to order the Cinnamon Roll Cake and it is huge! Perfect for sharing. The vibe was relaxed and laid back. Plenty of seating available, from the bar to the booths and long communal tables. This place is dog friendly as there were some when we dined in. The service was great as well. The waitress Fiona was helpful with suggestions and bothered to remember my name. Thank you!
Outstanding! Seriously the best breakfast I’ve had in a very long time. The Irish Coffee and the Blossom Something was perfect. The Breakfast Balls were delicious. Not too heavy and great for an appetizer. The Pork Belly Benedict was out of this world. Salty, sweet, and just the perfect bite. The Chicken Hash was really great too. Moist flavorful chicken accompanied by a delicious hash mix.

Went here for breakfast while in town for the conference. The good: the food was good and there was plenty of seating. The server was kind. The bad: there was only one server so it was a little slow.
Werewolf is like a clean dive bar with a neighborhood feel. They have a great selection on their menu but I would stick to the burgers or go during brunch. We went when there was only one person working but they were still friendly and as attentive as they could be. Most of the table got burgers and they were quite satisfied with it. Someone else had the chicken and fries which they enjoyed and I tried the specialty Brussels, Beets, and Bleu Salad. It wasn’t mixed well and the flavors just made it taste burnt. Get the burgers and go during karaoke or brunch and the vibes will be just right.
I came with my coworkers for drinks after dinner. We went on a Wednesday night and it was pretty busy and packed. The bartenders worked very hard to get drinks out. We tried to put in requests for a few songs to sing but our songs never came up. There are only 2 individual washrooms for guests to use, so there will be a lineup when the place is busy. Overall, a good experience and would come back again when I'm in San Diego.
Came here on Monday. Not very crowded at all. The bartender was very nice and attentive. The food was yummy. We had the Papas Balls and the Waterfront Sliders. So good and both sharable dishes. It always sucks to find parking downtown. They had some good tunes playing, and thankfully, not too loud, so my husband and I could still have a conversation!
Service and atmosphere were 👌. Food was good too, but not spectacular. We sat with our dog in the back booth, and Fiona, the bartender, served us. She was so friendly, talked to us using our first names, and printed out the draft list for our table. The papas balls are good, but again, not incredible. We had the wonton sliders, which were unique, though the burger patty itself wasn’t seasoned with anything. We had a delicious espresso martini and a good, strong mai tai. Another bartender brought our pup a water bowl. Fiona also told us about Dusty Rhodes park for our dog and it was an incredible time!
I found this place last minute before we headed to the airport. It wasn't busy yet because we came early. We sat inside by the window that shows the outside view. They had $16 Wycliff champagne bottles with a side of juice, I chose pineapple. I ordered the Cali burrito and me and my mom shared it. I will say it was good , steak could've been more seasoned. Overall the service was amazing. They gave out Mother's Day gifts and a DJ was on site. I wouldn't mind going again when in town and trying something different.
Very good brunch spot! Looked like everything was homemade. The biscuits were soft and airy on the inside and had a good crunch on the outside. The fruit purees for the mimosas were concentrated and gave the champagne such a nice fruity flavor. The checks were served in an old cassette case which was really cool! Only missed a star because the breakfast potatoes that come with most dishes were decently spicy but it didn't have any warning that we saw on the menu. It was spicy enough that if you are not a "spice" person I don't think you could eat them.
We were lucky to be seated in John’s section, he was very sweet and attentive one of the best servers I’ve ever seen. I got the cake and scrambled egg off the menu. The cheesy chive scrambled eggs are just basic eggs that they serve at the hotel buffet plus a few chives. I replaced the bacon with crispy potatoes, which were regular potatoes. I wasn’t impressed with the food. At my table They liked the pork belly Benedict. The breakfast balls came overcooked. I liked the DJ playing the jams even in the morning.
Good food and a fun atmosphere that allowed us to bring our two small dogs. They have a live DJ. It was kind of loud for the dogs but I appreciated how accommodating they were in letting us choose where to sit and everyone was very friendly with us and the pups. They service did not rush us to finish and leave which helps it to feel like a relaxed experience. Buying bubbles by the bottle was a great price.
Very loud. We had to wait about an hour to get seated which was fine. Once we were seated it seemed like no one knew we were there- it took about 30 mins for someone to come over and take our drink order and then it took them 20 mins to drop off the drinks, and no one offered to take our food order- finally a different guy came over and took our food order.

Amazing service. Super friendly staff. Pancakes were fluffy and chewy. I went after the busy breakfast hour so it wasn't busy.

In the Gaslamp's heart, a spot not so large, Werewolf it's called, with a unique charge. Its atmosphere, dark, like a pub from a book, A bit kitschy and cozy, a unique little nook. Now, let's talk about the food, if we might, A rating of three, it seems just right. Hush puppies were fair, not a culinary thrill, But oh, the gravy, it gave them a thrill! Pork belly eggs Benedict, a dish quite divine, But alas, the pork, it did not quite shine. Overcooked and dry, a culinary blight, Though the egg was perfection, oh so right! Chicken fried steak, a solid four in our eyes, A tasty delight, a pleasant surprise. As for the price, it's what you'd expect, In the Gaslamp area, it won't disconnect. Service, I must say, was truly a delight, The server was friendly, a warm guiding light. So, in sum, it's not a foodie's dream, But not the worst place, as it may seem. Werewolf, you see, has its own little charm, In the Gaslamp area, it won't cause alarm. So, if you're passing by and need a quick bite, Give it a try; it might feel just right!
When I looked it up on line the advertisement made me think it was a restaurant that served cocktails. But it is actually a bar with lots of people taking shots together and stuff which is really cool. But based on the advertisement I took my 70 year old mom there for dinner. Thinking it was a whimsical place with fun food choices. They were really cool to us gave us a good place to sit since my mom needed a place for her walker, in the back of the place. We were treated really well it just wasn't the right place for me to take my mom. I guess I didn't read the advertising good enough. In the pictures it showed pancakes and stuff so I totally misread the place. She was okay but the music made it impossible to talk to each other lol. The food was average. The the staff was very nice.
Went there about 8 pm. The vibe was- order at the bar, pick your food up yourself from the windows and bring it to your seat. Its bar food that did not taste good. Everything was over cooked or undercooked.
They have a nice setup, however a homeless man reeking of a strong urine smell sat next to me at the bar because there was limited seating. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger that I couldn't even enjoy because he was all I could smell. The worst part is that Moe (the bartender) knew him by name.
A group of people by the door, including the guy that sang first, trying to get me sing a Little Mermaid Song I didn’t want to sing, putting me on the spot, while they all stepped infront of me, and on top of me, right infront of my seat, blocking me from seeing the guy singing and the front, including Blocking the Front stage area, preventing me from singing, all while laughing, and looking directly at me, not even apologizing to me, while a second group of people walked in, and stared and also laughed at me, when me and my boyfriend moved to a table farther in the back, looking directly at me, while not apologizing, and Security and Staff did nothing about it when I told them what happened!!!! I hops that felt good about themselves for what they did!!!!
