Opinions de Panera Bread San Dimas
I've been eating here for a long time. I've never had a single problem with the staff nor the food. Everything is made fresh and without fillers or preservatives. Their breakfast sandwiches are amazing. I have yet to try everything on the menu but so far everything I've ordered has been nothing short of exemplary. You can even order whole artisan bread loaves for about the same price as the grocery store but they taste way better. The price is more than what you'd pay at McDonald's, but in every way possible its worth it. *Panera bread is at the top of the list of healthy fast food chains.* So that few extra dollars you spend are worth it in the long run. I definitely recommend eating here.
We love going here on Tuesdays for the baker's dozen special! $7.49 for 13 Panera bagels is an awesome deal! Friendly staff! I love using the app to do rapid pickup when their drive thru line is likely to be wild.
I love the food at panera. My favorites are the BBQ chicken sandwich, the Mac and cheese, and the sesame Asian salad. I could eat that twice a week AT LEAST. I also LOVE LOCE LOVE some of their drink options. There was a yuzu citrus something, and like a fuji apple, mixing them together was so good. They are so refreshing, and it's a nice break from soda, tea, or lemonade. When we needed extra plates and silverware because we were sharing, the staff was really prompt and friendly. The dining area was clean, and the service was fast.
Even though food may be a bit pricey, it doesn't mean that service is pricey. Staff is nice no matter who you are, and at least you don't need to beg the staff for a code to the restroom, which are the cleanest restrooms within a mile. Thank you for the courteous staff. I would pay extra for my meals for the courteousness.
always do drive thru here. love the mac n cheese and the wild rice soup. love all the bagel flavors. service is always friendly and quick
So many great asiago bagel sandwiches! They are all good. The fresh focaccia bread is good add your own balsamic vinegar and olive oil, so good! Can't go wrong with the fresh baked cookies, danishes and breads.
What a wonderful experience dealing with Richard Burdett. The third party delivery service in charged of my account cancelled my order without notifying me and Richard himself took care of everything, and deliver it personally. What a great human being and a wonderful customer service, we need more people like him running our food service industry.
Love the food! Fresh with nice portions and options. I hate the cafeteria style seating arrangements. And during the winter it should not be so cold inside!! Still, I love it here. 😀
Went with my beautiful mother she eats there often I never have to be honest she got the tomato soup and cold tea and asked if I like something which I did and the lady was patient to address their salads each to me in detail which I appreciate because was my first time and even though we were in drive thru I gladly appreciate her patience but I did get the goddess salad which omg I wish I got a full salad was delicious just had the right ingredients and the dressing was omg ! Just the perfect touch and may I add the coffee omg ! Was just perfect wanted something light to eat which reason I got a salad cause I had a lot to do at my apartment so I got a coffee as well and omg did the job to keep me good to clean which I believe was dark hazelnut but thank you Panera in San dimas your service is appreciated 👍
Like other sandwich shops, can be a bit pricey, but it's delicious. Worth it. Wait was really long though.
Nice and clean.. Helpful staff..Great options.. I recommend a simple toasted bagel or chicken salad 😎✌️👍👍👍👍👍

I like the ambience of Panera in San Dimas on Gladstone. I like panera bread bc it’s fast, affordable and there are healthy options. Abby was very attentive to the guest as soon as she noticed the table was dirty. The man was very impressed by her speed of service.
We stopped in to pick up a few sweet treats and had a great experience. The service was excellent—Peter, the general manager, was especially attentive and made sure we were taken care of. We’re regulars for the scones and cookies, which never disappoint. Panera is always a great spot for a quick bite, and they offer a solid variety of salads, sandwiches, and soups as well. Friendly service and consistent quality keep us coming back!
I gave this place another try after a previous bad experience (you can scroll down and see my bad review from 3 years ago). Last time I came I ordered mac and cheese which used to be my favorite and to my disappointment it was watery and mushy. This recent trip I ordered the same and it was delicious, like how it used to be before. I was even more impressed by a worker named Danny. He was so kind and generous, made my day! It seems like they’re under new management or at least better ran because this experience was nothing but pleasant. Thank you Danny for your funny and kind attitude!!

They were out of the salad of choice for pick 2, so had to select a different option. Food tasted good and was fresh and hot. Order was 1 full, 1 half sandwich , 1 bowl, and one cup of soup and totaled $39.81...a bit pricey for sandwich and soup.
4☆'s from other locations I have visited. Love their Broth Bowl & Chi tea. This is a new store that is now open as of 05/03/16! This store has a drive through! Hard to use app to order after 11am because they show sold out of most items, but have them in stock! Their system does not do auto inventory update 👎 soups are all very high in salt!
The food is always very good and freshly prepared here. Just a bit of shell shock at the prices especially for sandwiches. Can go to other restaurants with better prices however guess we are paying for the ambiance. Area is fairly clean except for the men's restroom. Pastries are always great Portos has better pastry prices, but pastries here are better Will go back somewhat infrequently mostly due to prices
My go-to place for bagels and lunch meet-ups. Consistent, delicious, health conscious, and not, there is always something good at Panera. The cinnamon crunch and everything bagels are my faves, and their broccoli cheddar cheese soup in a bread bowl is great for a cold day soul warmer. I usually order on the app and swing by to pick it up, but their kiosk system and face to face ordering are usually pretty quick as well. Tuesday half-price bagels packs make it really affordable to have treats all week.
They would get 5 stars if they would hire someone to clean the store all day long. In the morning it's very clean, but as the day goes on, it's just becomes dirty.
I had a pretty good experience here. I can tell you I was actually worried since it has been years since I’ve been back to a Panera Bread. For those that don’t know you can get breakfast, sandwich, salad, bagels and much more here. When I arrived there were two machines where I can self order. There was also a gentleman that was extremely nice and helpful that mentioned that if we were to order something from the lunch menu, it would only be through them and not the two kiosks. Me and my family gave a few items a try, the bacon egg and cheese croissant, the lunch pick two, apple salad and the steak ciabatta, and the Steel Oat Oatmeal. Surprisingly everything was pretty good, as I have not remembered any of the food we have tried from the past. I believe the best thing was that the cost was under $40, where most breakfast places would be $40 and above. The place looked clean, and the AC was blasting(which I like) and there was plenty of seating inside or outside. I would come back again and try other locations more close to me in the future. Until next time!
Been here multiple times. Very busy intersection and parking lot. Large shopping center with Costco and a handful of other restaurants, expect to walk a short distance and keep an eye out for cars. Very clean restaurant. Lots of seating inside and out, same prices and quality expected at Panera. We used the kiosks this last time to order. No one at the front when we first walked in. Will return and recommend for convenience and food.
Not sure why the reviews are so bad here. My experience was pretty good. Service was the standout part for me as the food typical fast casual, so wasn’t expecting to get wow’d but when I want a chicken salad sandwich, Panera is my go to. Bread to so soft in the middle but with an awesome chewy crust. Added a cucumber salad to make half and half order for an extra $1.99 and won’t make that mistake again. It wasn’t bad, but it was a little bland and paying extra and not getting their chips (which are the best kettle chips ever) or their bread (which is also pretty awesome) was a disappointment. For the other half sandwich, we tried the chipotle chicken and my GF loved it. Great way to share a quick bite for lunch. As for the service, I did pre-order while getting gas at Costco next door. When I walked in, I really didn’t know where to go or what to do. There were people standing around and there were signs to line up, but was a bit confusing because people weren’t really lined up. So I asked someone if they were in line and he explained that he was waiting for his name to pop up on the order screen which had one half of the screen for ordered being prepared and orders which are completed. Makes sense, right? If only I knew. So I scan the screen for my name and didn’t find it. A kid that helped me earlier came over and asked if I had questions and when I told him that I prefer-ordered but didn’t see my name he offered to check. He promptly came back and said my order was ready and being bagged which is why my name wasn’t up there. Cool. Walked up and got my order. Last but not least, why did I need help earlier when I already pre-ordered? Well I love the baguette and since I wasn’t getting any due to the salad, I wanted to buy one. Unfortunately, the website didn’t have the option for adding a baguette even though other bakery items are and it was an option for a side. Some minor kinks to work out, but nothing that will keep me away from their chips, baguette or chicken salad. Not add chipotle chicken to the list for my GF. Pro tip: this location has a drive through!!!! Had I known I would have tried that, but this is not my local Panera and drive through a are rare at Panera.

My soup could have had more cheese. The bread was good. The cashier was so nice and polite. The restaurant was a bit neglected/dirty.

We were ordinary breakfast today. They never have hot chocolate here, at least through the drive, though we've been here multiple times. DON'T order a strawberry smoothie mines was literally just milk and plain yogurt with a spour taste. We asked for ketchup for our sandwich, and they didn't offer any.
They said they had run out of dishes for dine in. There were only about 10 customers dining in. Most of the tables beeded to be wiped down. The cashier was very nice
Not enough charging/a/c outlets for the normal number of guests that are in the dinning room. Employees lack smiles (and positive energy) which casts a shadow - - Mngmt & employees not in alignment? Plus too many menu choices shown on fancy tablets "not available" when I visit. Generally, there has been a decline in the noticeably *good* food quality remembered from 2010-2017. Ever since Cv-19 there have been incremental degradations of that "great & freshly cooked" (or baked) Panera cuisine. Conversely - - prices are escalating as fast (possibly even faster) than comparable eateries. Need I mention an overall lack of staff members?
as a panera rewards customer I find my self at a nearby panera at least 5 times a month. I've never been unsatisfactory with there customer service and the overall quality of their delicious menu items . Today was my first time visiting this location and all I can say is the atmosphere in there was unwholesome. I had a long wait at the counter without being attended to .I ended up just getting out of the line attempting to purchase a gift card . The dining area was met by a huge stack of used & unwashed dishes that was kind of hard to ignore as you ate . All throughout the store there was these big piles of these unwashed dishes. Inventory on the counters made the counter look unappealing
The food is as to be expected. The people are nice. I asked for a coffee there was none. I asked the nice cashier lady to request it to be brought out. It was 10 minutes when I went and just poured decaf because the coffee was not made. The nice cashier noticed and said she would check on it. I told her to forget it in a defeated tone and sat down. The regular coffee was never brought out.
Hopping on my device to do some work during morning hours, while grabbing some carbs and caffeine. The structure here has its character, with some dividers, not a fully open dining room view, which offers some semi-privacy. The kitchen counter crew and the register team are complementary and cordial. I would like to see the cleaning person, who is decent height, round, and wearing eyeglasses, having a more pleasant demeanor. Who often put on a blank face, with signs of chronic pain and uneasiness written all over her face. Understandably, we are all too human, resembling weather sometimes. Trust next time around, this management would be screening for more upbeat individuals with its ever expanding brand!
I don't believe this is the correct patties used for such a large breakfast sandwich. Well at least Id hope so. After the little bit of egg and sausage is gone all I'm left eating is bread. I'm gonna have to pass on their breakfast menu if this is case. I gave 3 stars because the staff always seems willing to help and the asiago bagel when warmed up correctly is delicious.
It's a great place to stop in and use your sip club membership. Not so great if you're actually spending money on food. I ordered a u picked two the soup was Lukewarm watery and when i said something, I was told to go heat it in the microwave barely off the floor. Your near 20 dollars for 1 meal is definitely better spent next door at five guys.

The place and food is ok, but the internet here is very weak and needs improvement. Other places have at least decent strength internet, where it is barely working here at all sometimes.

Most Panera Bread locations I’ve ever been to have bad customer service. It’s chain store sandwiches served with Michelin 5 star exclusivity. I personally don’t get the joke, but whatever. This location has clerks in the to go area who don’t even look up when a customer approaches the counter. But after your song and dance to get their attention, suddenly one looks up and is ultra professional straight down her nose at me. I mean, true, what could possibly be more professional than ignoring your customers, but whatever.
Frequented this location several times a month, plus subscribed to a sip club membership. One day recently, I politely requested no tomatoe or mustard on my sandwhich, to my surprise and dismay I was told this was not possible. First by a rude young man named Liam and then I asked to speak to the manager who told me the same, in an equally rude manner. I was told the customer cannot request to modify value duets... after trying to reason with them to no avail, I finally conceded defeat, requested a refund, and left hungry and confused. Apparently at this location, the customer is not right. Sad, but I will be taking my business elsewhere. How does a business make money by refusing to satisfy customers and add unwanted ingredients that go to waste? Ridiculous.
They did not complete our order and took FOREVER for just a few items. There was not even a line ahead of us. Another family member noticed because they were too busy laughing and chitchatting. Parking wasn't so bad Atmosphere looked cozy but smelled a bit of an ashtray maybe due to the transients. Maybe will try the drive thru next time since seemed as though they were not prioritizing in restaurant orders

$27.35 for basically a kids sized portion of microwaved food. We both ordered the Alfredo pasta, one with chicken. One bowl had 2, ONLY 2 pieces of chicken. It was also raw chicken. My pasta was cold around the edges and extremely hot in the middle. Clearly microwaved. You can even hear the beeps from the microwave from the dining area! Our food did not taste good whatsoever. This place is ridiculously over priced, filthy and the workers are rude and unhappy. This was a horrible dining experience and a complete waste of time. Spend your money elsewhere that will probably cook your food for $30.
Cleanliness was good, food was less than desirable, especially at 32 bucks for two (cold)chicken sandwiches, two small drinks and a bag of chips for each. No ice at the dispenser. One good thing is it didn’t cost me anything, I’m using all my gift cards that i’ve amassed in my junk drawer over the last 20 something years. And as i promised from my Dog Haus review, I did not tip prior to trying my food.
The bowl of soup was insulting. There was such a little amount of soup in my bowl, I had to sign in to my google account to warn you not to buy food from here. You do not get your moneys worth. If I could rate 0 stars I would. Plus I could hear some weird witch craft going on in the back, really freaked me out, but I was too disappointed with my soul to pay attention to what’s going on back there. Will never be back to this one.
Worst Panera Bread Ever! First the inside is dirty as hell. All the tables are sticky and dirty. Second the employees are horrible. You come in, and they act like your bothering them when all you did was walk through the door. Third they get your order all wrong. I ordered a salad with NO chicken and they still put chicken on the damn salad. Then when I handed the salad to them, they just picked off the chicken out of my salad! That's so gross and disgusting. I could of done that myself. They picked out only the big pieces of chicken but there were still so many small pieces left. This Panera Bread is seriously horrible. Horrible customer service and horrible staff. Never coming back here again. I rather drive further to the one in La Verne. The Panera Bread in La Verne is way better than this one.
Stopped by toward the end of the day after work on my way home. Was not allowed to use the restroom because they were cleaning it 10 minutes prior to closing! Convunient for them to be done early... So inconvenient for the customers.. when I asked approximately how long it would take, she said " until closing but you probably vly won't be a le to go in because the floor is wet."
My dinner cost me $19 and it certainly didn't feel like $19 worth of food even by today's standards. I've only eaten maybe twice in my life in Panera. I really just wanted to try the cinnamon roll but didn't end up getting that because I needed a real dinner. The first time I ate in a PaneraI dined in at West Covina location and they left the bacon off my salad order. This time at SanDimas/Glendora location I ordered the half salad and half sandwich with the Green Goddess and Ciabatta Cheesesteak. The salad was decent and I made sure they put the bacon on it. But probably not worth $9. The Cheesesteak was absolutely gross 🤢 disgusting, because first of all barely any meat when you're expecting it to be thicker if they call it a Cheesesteak. And second, it was way way way way too sweet considering it's not supposed to be sweet at all, it's a savory sandwich. The grilled peppers and onions provide all the natural sweetness you need. This tasted like it was dipped in corn syrup and that was just plain gross.
Panera in Glendora is terrible. Ordered two soups and neither one had any decent flavor. The side of bread was thrown in the bottom on the bag and the latte machine was down, again. Learned it's best to drive to the La Verne location.
Terrible customer service. Every time we go to this particular location, they mess up our order. We specifically ask that a salad be made vegetarian and it comes out with either chicken or bacon bits. The last two times we went through drive-through, the orders were missing sandwiches and we had to go back. Also, they NEVER apologize for their mess-up's. Forget about calling them. They never pick up their phones. I called 2x about a missing order and the phone rang until the hang-up sound came on. I hope upper management sees all these critical reviews and takes corrective action. If we ever had a hankering for Panera, we would go out of our way NOT to patronize this location. Just awful.
I ordered a soup bowl for $10 and got my bowl less than half filled. The spoon didn't even fully submerge into the foul, viscous liquid they fed me. I overheard some of the employees talking, saying they cursed me and my friends soup via witchcraft. AVOID this location!

Dirty place,staff not bad
I came in tonight to order dinner and I typed the order on my iPhone so there would be no problem. I ordered soup Mac and cheese and a cheese sandwich's I paid after looking the receipt I noticed that no cheese on cheese sandwich. How can you have a cheese sandwich without cheese and I asked for the sandwich to be overcooked and crispy None of that was done right also after I got home and ate got stomach indigestion issue had to take Tums. I can’t believe they can’t even get on order right. I personally never stepping foot in Panera again. This time I escaped with stomach pain don’t know what might happen next time? Terrible!
The staff here is incredibly racy and unprofessional. I tried to come in and clear up a misunderstanding, and instead, I was met with employees trying to start a fight and riling each other up. They are more focused on being 'tough' than doing their jobs. They even lied on my rewards account to block me. Save your money and go somewhere where the employees don't treat customers like they're in a street fight.
Ordered door and had to wait 30 mini before I had to ask and be told to pick up the food on the way other side of the building. Don’t recommend if you’re trying to get something to go!
I'm sorry but I have to write something. On July 11 we went there for dinner, made an order and waited and waited. Then finally I saw our order waiting for us, no one called us and no one told us where to go to wait for our order, that was problem 1. Got home with our order and noticed they gave me a 1/2 sandwich, looked at my receipt and paid for a whole sandwich. Called the location July 12 talked to the manager told her what happened, she said I'm sorry I'll put your name on my list and take care of you. Went back July 13 about 2pm told the cashier what the manger said and he said okay.. we gave our order and he took care of us BUT I also added to my order a Blueberry Bagel... Got our order went home and opened the bag and guess what, I got another 1/2 sandwich. I was so mad and guess what they also forgot my blueberry bagel. I'm sorry not calling the manger again just not going back
