By far the most unique poke spot in Los Angeles. I haven’t found a place in LA that has sushi burritos & I’ve been searching for this since I traveled to Canada. The food was absolutely delicious! I can not wait to come back and try the sushi rolls. When I came across this incredible spot I was charging my car near by and I’m so glad I found it. I ended up meeting the owner Cesar, and some of there staff and they were some of the most personable & respectful individuals, delivering such quality customer service. I will be back and I will bring some friends!

Their food is incredibly fresh and delicious. Their staff is always kind and helpful. I am generally not a fan of poke and sushi but I thoroughly enjoy my PokiMX bowls and rolls! My favorites are: Spicy crab and shrimp poke bowl Cucumber Wrap sushi roll Sweet Dynamite sauce (so good!!!)

My little sister recommended I try this place, and I'm happy I did. The only item I can have is the pokebowl because I'm a vegetarian, but it's so good I'm ok with that. Their sauces are great. I always get their mango, citrus, and cilantro sauces, which all mix well with my tofu. I do have to warn you if you don't like anything fishy because you're a vegetarian, don't add the seaweed (it was way too strong for me). There's plenty of seating, and they also have a bar with charging outlets, a good plus. Their customer service has always been great for me, and it's just a great quick bite if you want something fresh.

They are currently taking the best precautions to keep their customers and workers safe during these unprecedented times by outlining the social distancing standards in the store, providing ample amount of hand sanitizer for everybody, and upon entrance appears very clean. The sleek professional look that is seen upon entrance is nothing but inviting. The portion size is quite ample for each of the sizes that they offer (small, medium, and large). I have yet to see another restaurant provide flavors like the ones I experienced here. This is a must try for the San Fernando residence, as well as those in the surrounding suburbs and cities.

This restaurant is my favorite. The sushi is delicious, with an exquisite texture, and in my opinion, they are always in perfect condition as they never lose their freshness. Additionally, the Jamaica water adds a spectacular touch. I would absolutely rate this place a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it. And not only that, the atmosphere is very comfortable. 4 only because I did not see any should sauce but this place did not disappoint. I ordered a poke bowl with 2 spicy tuna servings and 1 ahi tuna, it was great I couldn't put it down even while pumping gas lol.

I come here for lunch often and love their bowls I usually get the spicy albacore and scallop bowl. Their sauces are really good. I definitely recommend going there before noon or after 1 to avoid the lunch rush although it's never been too crazy here

I cannot get over how yucky this tastes. The first bite, pretty good—every bite just got worse and worse. They have a new bowl style/packaging. They’re Chipotle Crab (side) is yucky. I got a large Poke bowl as I usually do. They have new chopsticks. They’re cheaper than what they used to give with the meals. I used my personal chopsticks (as I normally do). The chipotle crab (side option for the poke bowl) is so disgusting this time. It’s very stringy (in a bad way) and almost flavorless….it actually tasted like old dry rubbery store bought low quality crab. The whole thing tastes yucky. As I mentioned before, it got worse and worse with every bite. I am unfortunately unable to finish the bowl. I would’ve given them a one star review, purely based on the food—I ordered take out and while I was there, the people at the restaurant were very nice, cheerful, and the restaurant ambience/vibe was decent. A good customer service experience, but horrible downgrade in food quality, flavor, and horrible everything relating to food.

I was very excited to try it. I love Spicy Tuna rolls but unfortunately am allergic to eel sauce. When I ordered my food I was not asked if I wanted any of the sauces on top of my sushi roll nor was it on their Menu inside. I assumed it would be put on the side (like other restaurants I’ve been to) but once I got home, I had to throw my food away (no one else eats sushi but me). Next time I will ask beforehand for sure.

Nice employee and great atmosphere, but the poke quality was subpar for the $17 small poke bowl. Additionally, the fish portions are small and the rice was stale. I would not recommend.

I changed my rating. Usually the food taste great and it's delicious but this time and last time not so much. As soon as I ate the half of the bowl I had to immediately go to the bathroom now I'm dehydrated on a hot day. Not the best feeling. Need better quality control on the food items.

Tempura sushi is packaged sushi from Restaurant Depot. Sushi rice is a gimmick. No utensils offered. They use the automatic tipping po machines...why not ask if to go then pay and for here pay after the meal is over. The restaurant does not have it where they have the customer like that. Please do better. You can't afford to go cheap. It doesn't look like customers are coming in, so it is not working. This place was empty. Oh no soy sauce on the tables. No plates offered. No wasabi?

Honestly I love this place! The only reason I'm writing a bad review is because I've become really disappointed in their serving sizes. They used to be really great about the serving sizes! Now they barely even cover the rice. The portions are at best 1 1/2 of a large scoop worth of protein. The food is great do not get me wrong but I've been going here for well over a year and the only times I've noticed the portions being better is when they have new hires because I'm assuming they haven't taught them how to be (for the lack of better words) stingy. I have asked about giving me a little more even if it was just half a scoop more they said they charge extra for "extra scoops". I also decided to call regarding the portion sizes they said basically that they got different scoops "smaller scoops" (in their words) . I followed my complaint regarding sizes if they changed scoops and if they know the portions are smaller then why are they increasing the price so often? They had no proper answer. Not only that but their prices went from originally I believe $15 for a large bowl to eventually $16 then it went to $17 now $18? So we're paying almost $20 for a "large" bowl with less than the size of a good portion?

I've ordered here three times different months.. Today the rice is undercooked, don't know how you screw up sticky rice. The rolls were not cut all the way through,and you guessed what happens to the rolls.. Quality control was not done today. I really want to support small business, please get it together! Threw away 60 dollars worth of rolls

This is definitely my first and last time going to this place. First of all the person serving us didn't seem to be ready to help and somewhat was reluctant to answer our questions even when we made the disclaimer that this was our first time visiting. I was not to fond of the hand mixing of all the ingredients, I'm used to doing that on my own. There was a particular ingredient that seemed to come from a can, and I am not sure which of the tuna I ordered, it definitely did not fit in and threw off the freshness of a poke bowl. And last, the side of seaweed had alot if green die that it stained my white rice, I don't think I have seen seaweed do that in the past.

Me and my wife been going to this place for a while now. Food was amazing but lately food quality has gone down.

If you like spicy tuna, I wouldn’t recommend this place. The spicy tuna they put in bowl is so mashed up (Seems like it was in a blender) you can’t even tell you’re eating fish. It’s creamy like a sauce and it wasn’t cold. Everything else in the bowl was good. If I ever try it again, i’d just get regular tuna.

This review is more about customer service than the food. For the 3rd time that I have ordered on line for pick up, they have failed!! I gave them more than enough time to fill order. What happens when I get there, order not even started, still sitting on printer!! Also instructions for extra wasabi and Agua chili...none!! Even when asked before I left store, they said it was in the bag.

I was so happy to find out San Fernando was opening a poké bar.....The fish tasted old and I found a hair in my rice. I’m a blonde and the hair was dark😖. I was so disappointed. Everyone be aware with your change because after paying with $100 bill, I received change with a fake $20 bill. Didn’t realize until I needed to use the money to purchased and told it’s fake! They only stated they check the bills .. manager Tony not being able to let me have owner to speak. Don’t trust their bill check !

I walked in to make an order and I was not greeted, and I was not served, I was ignored by all the staff and the customer who walked in behind me was instead served first. They couldn't even be bothered to say "we will be right with you". I will never eat here again.

Just got a bowl from this place earlier today. About an hour or so later had severe nausea which later turned to vomiting and now diarrhea. Never eating here again. The fish is obviously not fresh. You can't mess around like this with raw meats. If that's what you serve, it has to be properly prepared. It's turned me off from ever eating sushi or poke again.

6/16/24 First time visiting after googling “poki bowl near me” with more than 4 stars. We were inside barely 1 minute we had to leave due to the bad smell of the place, like a fish market. Big turn off. Weirdest smelling poke place I’ve ever been to.

Worst poke I’ve had. Rice was undercooked. Guy didn’t listen to what I requested to add. Cilantro was wilted. $18 for a small bowl. Never again!

These issues were bad enough, but unfortunately, it got worse — I ended up with food poisoning after eating here. Given the clear lack of proper food safety measures, I’ve contacted the health department, as I seriously doubt their food is being stored or prepared at the correct temperatures. This was by far one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had, and I would strongly advise others to avoid this place.
