Very good food and friendly staff. Reasonable price. Second room opened for service after remodeling. Definitely recommend this place!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem for Uzbek Cuisine 🇺🇿✨ If you’re looking to try something new and flavorful, this place is a must! Here’s why I recommend it: 🍽️ Amazing Food: Every dish is full of authentic Uzbek flavors — fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. 📍 Great Location: Easy to find and has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. 💸 Affordable Prices: Generous portions at very reasonable prices! 💪 New & Growing: It’s a new restaurant, and the team is learning as they go — but you can truly feel their passion and dedication. Highly recommend! Be patient and supportive as they grow — you’ll be rewarded with a tasty and unique dining experience.
I recently visited a Uzbegim restaurant and had a great experience. I especially want to highlight the plov — it was absolutely delicious. The rice was perfectly cooked and fluffy, the meat was tender and juicy, and the spices were very well balanced. You can really taste the authentic flavor of traditional plov made with care. I was also pleasantly surprised by the staff. The employees were very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They took the order quickly, helped with choosing dishes, and created a very comfortable atmosphere. You can tell that the staff truly care about the guests and their experience. Overall, I had a very positive impression of the place. Great food, amazing plov, and wonderful service — I will definitely come back again.
Absolutely delicious! The best Uzbek food in SF. We went there on the second day of their opening and fell in love with their crispy Somsa, flavorful Manti, and of course Pilaf. The flavors are fresh, and bold.
Me and my friend decided to try Uzbegim, and we ended up loving everything about it! We ordered the Lagman, mantu, chicken kebab, and the avocado hummus with pistachio pesto every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The servers were amazing as well: attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and truly enjoyed tasting authentic Uzbek cuisine. Highly recommend this restaurant! 🌟
Just stopped in here on my lunch break, so it was fairly quick, but really delicious food. I got the rice pilaf (PLOV) with beef. The beef was very tender and juicy, the rice was delicious and flavorful, and the match stick carrots were cooked such that they basically fell apart in my mouth. The blending of the simple flavors and textures between the seasoned rice, beef and the carrots was great, and felt pretty unique considering the type of food that I'm used to. Also, the price point was extremely reasonable for San Francisco, and for the quality of the food I received. Highly recommend
I recently visited this restaurant, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, elegant, and inviting. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and genuinely made me feel taken care of. Service was fast, professional, and seamless from beginning to end. Even the smallest details were handled with care. Whether you’re coming for a casual dinner or a special occasion, this place is a must-visit. I can confidently say it’s one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommended!
Food is amazing, service could improve- there were several servers and they did their best I guess, but it seems like there’s no system. It’s unclear who’ll get server when and whether you’ll eat at the same time.
Outstanding spot in the Richmond with a vast and delicious menu. We shared 5 dishes with plenty of leftovers for the week. The flaky bread, feta spread, manti, and logman were all so good, and at an excellent value. Warm and welcoming service, we're looking forward to returning soon.
The star of the night was kebab paradise platter. Lambchops, beef kebab, kofte kebab were excellent. Chicken kebab was ok. We also really liked samsa. Manti were ok. My lagman soup was not bad. I wish it were hotter temperature wise and spicier. The plov we were not very happy about. To us, the rice felt undercooked. But then the lady eating next to us, who was from Tashkent, told us that this is how they cook plov in Uzbekistan. The meat in the plov was good, though. Overall, a very good culinary experience, and not expensive.
Great place! I know these guys are new but any restaurant would have issues if they just opened. Let’s be patient guys. Hopefully owners will read this and put as much effort as possible to get this place set up. Flavor of the food is good. In general, Uzbek cuisine is just amazing. All the best to the restaurant and Uzbek community from the community of Kyrgyzstan 🫶🏻 P.s: not scam or fake review, real person writing from the bottom of my heart
Excellent service and food. The food was so delicious that we ended up ordering to go. They've just opened, so some things need to be improved. Other than that, it's a good place to eat. Working hours are 11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. For now, they are open every day.
I went to Uzbegim for the first time last Tuesday, and it was delicious, I never had Uzbek food before and this restaurant has definitely impressed me. Very great service especially from Dustoon and others as well, it was a peaceful and enjoyable experience!
Great halal Uzbek restaurant in SF. I tried plov with samsa and they were absolutely delicious and fresh. Highly recommend visiting here to try authentic Uzbek food.
The guys opened a great restaurant. Everything is delicious, and the service is excellent.
New neighborhood find features the food of Uzbekistan -+ a Silk Road melange of Mongol, Turkish and Russian dishes. Think of Turkish manti, those tiny meat-filled steamed dumplings and try theirs, which are moist baseball size dumplings filled with ground beef and frangrant spices. Delicious. Wonderful grill platters packed with beef kebabs, grilled lamb and chicken, roast peppers, mushrooms and more... Rice and beef platters, salads, a hearty hummus-like dip, fresh thick pita. Delicious cherry juice too. All added up to a feast for 4 with takeout for another few meals. Learned a lot about the region from their decor of maps and portraits of last rulers. Great value, freshly prepared, not a place to rush as small staff pays great attention to food prep and presentation.

Finally, tandir somsa is now available at SF! Delicious and crispy. Freshly baked every day at 11:00 a.m. — amazing when served hot with tomato sauce. Highly recommended — give it a try! Starting tomorrow, more than 15 types of shashlik are expected to be available.
Clean place Delicious food Friendly service ✅
Very delicious Uzbek restaurant
Customer service end foods very good .thank you
An awesome and unique restaurant with HEFTY portions. Come hungry and leave happy! The samsa are super flaky and I’d highly recommend them
Very good food! Loved the Mantu, Lentil Soup and Samsa, these were really the hit for the night. Plov was also very good but i wish rice was cooked few more minutes but still great. Labneh with Zaatar was just ok because that wasn’t zaatar on top, hopefully they fix that. Lamb chop and chicken wings was also good. Definitely going back and recommended.
Uzbek restaurant is like a little cuisine journey to Central Asia. My own oxtail borscht I take 2 days to make at home is a specialty of mine, but I have to say theirs might even be better -delicious and authentic with shaved pieces of beef. We got another one to take home with us. The lamb shank was slow roasted in a dark, rich Uzbek sauce with dates, apricots, olives and great spices and their Baratta & Arugula salad was super fresh made with a balsamic dressing using Saba oil. I was almost hesitant to even leave this review because it’s a smaller place and the next time I visit I really hope there’s no waitlist to get in.
Food is excellent. Large portions and very tasty. The servers are polite and professional. The restaurant is decorated nicely and very clean.
I enjoyed my visit to Uzbegim Restaurant. The somsa tasted good, but it was only a bit warm — I prefer it hot and crispy. The medovik dessert, though, was excellent. I really loved it. Overall, a nice experience.
Absolutely recommend!!! Such a lovely spot with really tasty, homemade-style food. You can tell the place is new - there are a few small kinks here and there, but nothing major. I’m sure they’ll work it all out soon. Can’t wait to come back!
We ordered to go. Very good, home style food. Manti were awesome. Plov was very good as well. Overall highly recommend this place.
