I had a great experience here The pizza is amazing, I tried the Mushrooms and the Sunset Aloha one As a drink I got a California Cider and uff. Can't recommend it more! They also have live entertainment, and it was amazing I was lucky enough to see the beach and the moon at the same time, all in one location Keep it up with the amazing work Thanks !

Great pizza. The price for a medium pizza was not too bad, and they have a great beer selection. We loved the sweet potato steak fries. Nice staff too.

We stayed in this part of town for a few nights on vacation and I was looking for a place with great pizza for me (slices) and my wife (gluten free). I was also looking for good French fries. BAM. The Pizza Place nailed all 3 (4 technically). To start we had their sweet potato steak fries, which were thick, well cooked, and super tasty. We also ordered the crispy fries (regular fries). Also cooked well, super crispy, and very tasty. There was a lot of both! The slice was amazing and huge. I had mushroom, bacon, ricotta, and goat cheese. My wife had their homemade gluten free pizza with some veggies on it, and no cheese. She said the crust was actually very yummy for gluten free and it was cool that they made it there. The service was great. We got there right when they opened on a Thursday. Laid back atmosphere. It seemed like a number of locals were coming in and dining which was cool to see. The experience was great. I'd highly recommend, especially if you're looking for great pizza and/or great fries! Side note: I saw one review recently that said they only take cash. We definitely paid by card on our visit. It might be a good idea to call ahead to see if they take card, if that matters to you, just in case.

We decided on slices over splitting a full pizza and I'm glad we did because the slices were HUGE and the toppings were generous and delicious. I wasn't expecting the potato chips on the specialty slice I ordered but they were a welcome and fun additional surprise. Will DEFINITELY be back next time I'm in town. Also the staff was all super kind and attentive.

Went for the first time today and got pizza for takeaway. Ordered a large to share with my wife; we have leftovers for tomorrow! Good choice of toppings, really liked the pizza dough and vegan cheese is an option for those that want it. Cindy the owner was lovely and welcoming. We'll definitely be back for a sit down meal.

The Pizza Place on Noriega is one of my favorite places on Earth. A fun, welcoming, atmosphere staffed by awesome locals and hard working business owners. My husband and I started going to The Pizza Place over a decade ago. Many years later, we still go often, and it is our go-to for family gatherings and special occasions. We have now tried most of their menu and the quality is consistently top notch here. I don’t think we’ve ever been dissatisfied with our food or experience. Their buffalo wings are perfect … my all-time hands-down favorite wings … crispy, nice and spicy, flavorful… exactly what you want. The hot tip is to keep the plate so you have the buffalo sauce for your pizza ;-) The blue cheese is also fantastic. Sometimes, we buy a jar of it to go. As for the pizza, we love their creative options and often get slices of the Big Wave Dave, Spicoli, Sunset Aloha, and Greek, but custom pies are great and they will do half and half, which is nice for groups. The salads are also fresh and tasty. The baby spinach is our favorite, but so far, we have enjoyed all of the ones we have tried. And love that they have a vegan option that is actually good. In a place like SF where quarters are tight and restaurants are increasingly tough to run, this place does a great job of maintaining a comfortable, excellent neighborhood spot to gather with friends or family. Really big slice! There are many flavors, and a brunch of vegetarian options which is great! Went there as a group of 3 people and it was very nice. The place has an nice and simple decoration. They deliver in the tasty food :)

Good selection of pizza and basic beer for a moderate price. Looks and feels like THE neighborhood pizza joint. They supposedly make their own dough and cheese. I ordered a slice of Dimitri pizza - it was uneven (dough was much too thin in middle) and heavy (grease galore, and the sheer weight was ripping through the fragile dough). But the cheese was perfectly salty and the meat toppings are tender. Would go again if I'm in the neighborhood. Also, they have gluten-free pizza.

My jaw hit the floor when I read how the owner responds to peoples reviews so I’m expecting a lashing for this, but just know we loved your food but you’ve gotta step up your service game up. Never had an undercooked pizza from you guys so you must’ve been busy tonight but for an 1 1/2 hr wait you’ve gotta do better

went here and didnt get acknowledged waiting for a table, and then when we were seated, server never came so my table of 3 left without getting any service. there were only 2 tables of 4 seated inside, and 3 staff members by the dish drop and no one came to our table.. cant rate it on food unfortunately. i had a salad and a beer at the bar once for lunch, and that was fine. the space is really cool and large with a tv and would have liked to be a patron since I live a block away but thats just the way it goes.

I have never left a bad review but this place just pushed me to do so and if I could give zero Stars I would but that's not an option on here we ordered some steak fries which did not come with any steak maybe that was my fault for not asking the proper question so I'll let that one slide after I asked for a slice of big wave dave pizza that had bacon on it and I very nicely asked if he could make the bacon extra crispy or deep fried he said yes I will put that in the order when he brought the slice back the bacon looked see-through meaning raw I asked him nicely if he could cook it more or why the bacon wasn't cooked and he said that chefs could not modify their pizzas so I don't understand why he didn't say that from the beginning so I could order something else after I told him that I wasn't going to eat it because I am pretty sure that it would have made me sick he said I'm sorry but there's nothing I can do I still paid for the slice but I felt like I was being robbed I shouldn't have had to pay for something that I didn't eat. Anyways if you come here just be sure that you know what you are getting ahead of time so that you're not disappointed like I was personally I won't ever be back here again bad service and really bad food.

Very disappointing experience that is now downright sketchy after checking my credit card balance and seeing that they charged me more than double the final amount. I have the email receipt from the transaction so this is really not a smooth criminal running the show. Beyond that, it was just not an enjoyable experience. There were flies 🦟 flying around constantly. The owner/manager was very cold and unwelcoming and made me switch tables mid-meal. There were ton of screaming kids which led to a stressful atmosphere (not the restaurant’s fault per se). There is no WiFi. The pizza is average at best.

Went there to watch the Superbowl with my son & his friend. Ordered dinner for everyone & then dessert. The Spicolli pizza was low quality. The sausage was average & the cheese tasted sour. It wasn't melty & stringy. It was near halftime when we finished our desserts & told the server that we were going outside for a moment & we'll be right back. The server told us we had to leave even though we were still owed a refill on a fountain drink. There were several empty tables there, so I was perplexed as to why they would want us to leave before I even closed out my bill. There was still half the game left. I would have spent more money. If you're going to watch a game somewhere, I recommend avoiding this disrespectful establishment. It would have been really nice if this disrespectful establishment warned us about a "1.5 hrs table limit", stated in their comment below, before the superbowl game. I never would have went there in the first place. I wholly regret ever going there. I wish I could give 0 stars...

I placed an order to be ready at 1pm. I arrived 10 minutes earlier because I had been in the area running errands. I showed the nice man in front my receipt. He was looking around for my ticket but it seemed he could not find it. So he went toward the back oven and asked the chef in the back to confirm my order, a Caucasian gentleman with glasses and a colorful hat. He snapped back and said “what time is it supposed to be ready?” “And what time is it now?” “It’ll be ready at 1:01pm.” It was loud enough for my husband and I to hear in the front where we were waiting. 1.) This is not how you conduct yourself to your fellow colleagues. 2.) This was so disrespectful to everyone around. Including your neighborhood customers. God forbid we show up 10 minutes early to see if by chance it was ready. Not a big deal if it wasn’t. We left and decided to come back 20 minutes later. There was a kind lady who gave us our pizza and said usually there is a text sent out telling us it’s ready. We did not receive any text message at all. Sadly, this experience has left us not wanting to support this business entirely. Service matters.

Beware, over priced and terrible pizza. To add insult to injury, we were yelled at by the staff for taking napkins and plates to our table. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place, as there are much better pizzas places in SF.
