Been meaning to go here for ages but did today. The interior is nice with seating outside. Service was good but the important part is the food. Their pasta was good and pizza ok but pricing is a tad high. For the pizza at least. I think I'd try the pasta again but at there prices the pizza isn't worth it.

It was nice! However I had ONE issue, but I don’t think it will keep me from coming back since I liked the food so much. GREAT tasting pizza! I got the BBQ chicken pizza and added on bacon. It’s loaded with toppings and did not take too long to come out. However, my friend got thin crust and I got the regular hand tossed and they were EXACTLY the same. When I told our waiter he told us that the kitchen “must be running out of dough” which is a wild thing to say to a customer and then charge for the lesser dough. Maybe do yourself a favor and don’t pay the $1.75 extra for the thin crust! Just go late at night when they are running low on dough (I joke) It’s btwn $20-25 per pizza. We each only ate half of ours in 1 sitting, so it was also my lunch the next day.

Our group decided to stop by in hopes that they would have some dairy-free or limited-dairy pasta options for someone in our group with dairy restrictions, but sadly they only had one small tomato pasta dish which came in too small of a portion for the crazy $18 price tag, and it wasn’t especially good either. We also ordered the Chipotle chicken pizza which we had expected to be much larger for the $20 price tag and after being told it’s more than enough for 3-4 people, but that also sadly wasn’t the case. The pizza we got was much too small to be worth the price, and the taste did not make up for it. Fortunately they had a promotion going where they were giving one of three appetizer options for free to those who sign up for the CPK online rewards program, which saved us a good $12 on a simple cauliflower appetizer that wasn’t at all worth the menu price. So overall, the food came in portions too small for the egregious prices they charge and the taste really didn’t make up for it. The service also wasn’t especially great. The atmosphere was decent for sit-down restaurant as they had some music playing not too loudly and the place was kept pretty clean overall. So all that said, it’s worth 3/5 STARS overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Stopped in for the first time on a recommendation from a friend, who was with me. It was Happy Hour so we each ordered a drink and appetizer from their HH menu, although, we had to ask for that particular menu, which surprised me. It was a few daysbefore my birthday so I mentioned that to the waiter and I decided to get dessert with one dish advertising hot chocolate fudge on it but when the dish arrived, it was cold chocolate. They said they could put the chocolate in the microwave, which they did.Then came my bill, which I had to go ask for. Mind you, it wasn't that busy. They did say they were short handed. My friends bill was correct. Mine was not. They did not give me HH prices. Oh my gosh....more waiting. I might...might visit a California Kitchen again, but definitely NOT this location.

Went for dinner on a weekday. Lot of empty seating. It took around 5-6 min to get the attention of someone to seat us. Another 5 min for someone to take our order. Menu has quite a few vegetarian options. We ordered couple pizzas, and shishito peppers. Tortilla soup was not available at the time. The order took forever to come. We were waiting for almost 15 min and when asked for more bread in the meantime (which I would say is delicious), it was not brought to table. Went with our 2 boys who were extremely hungry. So I was disappointed that they did not give more bread when requested. Order was talking to long. Pizzas were good. Peppers were very salty. The only taste in them was of soy sauce. Overall, I will still go back for their food, but the service needs serious work.

While the place in itself is nice , but the food and service is pretty average or below average. To begin in. 1. Service is delayed. So much so that the drinks were served towards the end of the Meal after reminding. 2. The dishes in themselves were not cooked to required needs there was this raw smell lingering 3. The only attention the staff pays is when you ask for bill.

5 stars for the avocado club egg rolls. Old time customer. After many years of not coming to CPK. The rolls are still a hit. Unfortunately this review is mainly for the quality of the drinks. Moscow mule had little to no vodka. Wife's drink looked like they pulled it out of the basement. Can't tell if it's cat or rat hairs near the neck of bottle. Plus bathrooms are a little run down

Slow waiters. Waited 15 minutes before getting anybody. Table next to us came way later and got a waitress way earlier. The food quality is mediocre at best and gets boring real fast. The value and service are bare minimum for a chain of this scale. I would not go again.

Very bad service from a female staff member. I simply asked where to order if I wanted to take the food to go. She looked visibly angry and answered in a very impatient and rude tone, saying there were only two people and that she would come over. I wasn’t complaining or demanding service — I just wanted to know where to place a to-go order. She then angrily pointed me to the pickup area, but there was no one there to take orders. I honestly don’t understand what I did to make her so upset. Her attitude was extremely unprofessional and made me feel very uncomfortable.

Wow what a horrible place. Staff doesn’t care about basic sanitary conditions. Walked in to find the hostess drink sitting side by side with clean silverware, and asked for the DM’s number was informed I had to email him the GM refused to share his number with me, well lets make it public then! Hostess was standing to the side made eye contact but didn’t engage me waited for someone else that was leaving to greet me. The GM was confrontational and tried to make an excuse when i asked for the dm and explained the issue, she first sair she asked the hostess to remove it then she said the cup was covered and it wasn’t. Condoning unsanitary conditions way to go CPK!

Our server, Fernando was nice and accommodating. UPDATE: 9-17-2022 Our server, Heather was extremely nice after a long day and shortage of staff at 9:00pm. Very pleasant experience, she was very attentive, unlike the horrid experience at Hillsdale's CPK. Pizzas are normal size here, unlike the puny size at Hillsdale. UPDATE: 1-19-2025 I was charging my phone and missed the text while sitting in front of the staff. My fault for missing the text while sitting in front of you, but I have to wait another 30 minutes, not the next available table because there were other customers behind me so I am at the back of the line. Very accommodating people here. The two useless females were just talking.
