Looking for pizza at Santana row? Go no further. This spot gets busy but is worth the wait (especially when you can sip a drink across the street at Straits while waiting)

Amazing ambience and amazing pizzas! Loved the butter squash pizza

I tried the Margherita pizza and it was excellent, really loved it.

I took my wife here for Mother's Day this past weekend, and we were not disappointed! Everyone from the bartenders to the servers was friendly and engaging. The food did not disappoint either. We had their artisan pizzas, salads, and cocktails. All 3 selections were great. I will definitely be returning.

The sweet corn and cheese went well hand in hand and created the perfect blending touch on the palette. The portion was good enough for two and the tummy didn’t feel weighed down as it does every time I eat a slice. The Warm Cornmeal Shortcake with Strawberries and Whipped Cream was the perfect compliment to the pizza. The cornbread was crisp to the touch and the cream came with a hint of sweetness. Will be going back there again!

Great pizza options (gf), portions, and flavor. Service was great. Gratuity included in final bill. A little loud, but definitely a great restaurant on Santana Row.

Busy but still was able to grab a table for 3 of us. Water & menus appeared quickly, cocktails arrived minutes after we ordered them. Suggestions were made to make one dish more kid-friendly and food arrived amazingly fast and hot. Will be back to try other items we didn't get to try!!

As someone spoiled by the stellar San Francisco pizza options, especially when it comes to thin crust, Pizza Antica is one of the few standouts I enjoy in South Bay. The lines here can be frustratingly long, but that's because the quality of the food is outstanding, and not just because it's in Santana Row. A particular favorite is the truffle potato pizza, but all the other options are fabulous too. Salads are small, but tasty, and the clams were delicious as well. Service is decent, though nothing special.

Found Pizaa Antica to be quite good with just right ambience for dinner get together with family and friends. They have pretty good beer and wine selection (apparently they are also known for their cocktails). We paired Barbera d'Alba Giocomo Fenocchio, wine with Mushroom Pizza which we really enjoyed. Their salt version of burrata toast with arugula from the appetizer selection was also pretty good. If you are in and around Santana row, a must try! Evenings seem to be pretty busy, so put in your name in the list and wait for the call back. Be prepared to wait!

Pizza Antica offers an upscale dining experience with a refined atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxed evening out. The location is convenient and inviting, making it a great choice for both dinners with friends and special occasions. The staff are professional and attentive, ensuring you feel well taken care of throughout your meal. The setting strikes a nice balance between elegant and comfortable, so you can enjoy quality food without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. It’s a dependable spot when you want excellent pizza in a polished environment.

We went on a Weekday night. Had to wait about 25 minutes for a table. The place has outdoor and indoor seating as well. The menu is rather limited. We tried wood fired pizza, made our own with roasted chicken and tomatoes. Also tried the vanilla gelato 🍨 The pizza was really good.! Not heavy on cheese, and great smoky taste. They do add 20% extra service charge though. The service was good.

C
Carlos D. Puchol

Really delicious thin crust pizza cooked in a wood fire over. Tasted delicious! We will come back here again. (Although I’ve said thin crust, the crust itself is airy and bubbly and very soft. The actual crust with sauce is thin and delicious)

We sat on the bar. Bar tenders were so friendly and nice! Food was above and pizza was just superb!

Absolutely delicious pizza that tasted just like in Italy! It was loaded with prosciutto — thin, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The crust was light and crispy, and every bite was full of authentic Italian flavor. They also have outdoor seating with a beautiful view of Santana Row, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

One of the favorite Italian places. All food is very delicious here. Pizzas are great- the dough is very soft and just something you always looking for in pizza. Best item on the menu for sure gnocchi, highly recommend this dish. Tried Burrata yesterday and oh my, it was amazing! You won’t regret coming to this place if you love Italian food.

This has been a hit in santana row for a while. No reservations. Can take an hour wait time on weekends. Tried the margherita and heirloom potato pizzas. All great!!! Service is very good and fast. They add a 20% service charge for any number of guest

Delicious pizza, quick service. Eating here always begs for a glass of Chardonnay or a robust red wine. Heck, a strong cocktail might be better! Pizza is sophisticated, built on a perfect crust and fired in a presumably wood burning oven. Many choices for toppings such as: generous portions of prosciutto, fist full of arugula, a spray of mushrooms, and just a spoonful of parmesan to help the pizza go down. Situated towards the end of gorgeous Santana Row Shopping Center. Dark interiors, sunny (weather-permitting) outdoor seating where haute couture line the sidewalks and a zippy Lamborghini rests at the curb.

Great food. Love their kale salad and Marguerita pizza. Panna cotta and espresso are good, too. And their gnocchi is excellent.

Pizza Antica One of our favorite pizza places in the Bay Area. They food preparation is super fast. You can’t reserve a table and its first come first served but you can call 30mins before you arrive and give a name. We always try the Margarita pizza but this time I tried the fried chicken. If you like sweet tastes its really good.

It was a really good place to hang out while you are there shopping or killing time. Nice service, the food was food, the pizza with potatoes and truffle oil was on another level. Nice draft beer and clean.

I tried the Margherita Pizza and the Cacio e pepe pasta. Loved the food. Service is quick. Making a reservation 30 mins before saves a lot of time. Loved the Tiramisu

Waited an hourish for a table outside but the pizzas were delicious! Pretty close to true Napolitan pizza the dough is soft and chewy and the condiments fresh. Can’t go wrong with the classic margherita but the spicy pancetta was interesting and the peas added a very unique extra crunch

We have been going here from the day of their inauguration. Something to celebrate this is the first restaurant that comes to our mind. As vegetarians our favorite options are Mixed greens, in summer fried artichoke, gnocchi and potato pizza. Noticing that the salad quality has been going down recently but the rest are still as great as before. 2025 Finally! They have Tiramisu on their menu!! It’s delicious 👌🏼

Best gluten free pizza crust I’ve had in a long time! Absolutely delicious kale salad and Margherita pizza. Their lemonade was also fresh squeezed, too! The blackberry thyme one was great.

1st time at Pizza Antica, the experience was great. They serve large portions, so the price is reasonable. The Burrata was delicious. Our server Jaime was the best. Will definitely be back to try their Pizza

Celebrating a friend's birthday at Pizza Antica was a delightful experience from start to finish. We kicked off our meal with the house-made focaccia, a savory delight infused with the aromatic essence of rosemary, setting the tone for what was to come. The Di Stefano burrata and arancini were standout starters, leaving us craving more with each bite. Our selection of pizzas and calzone showcased the culinary prowess of the kitchen. The classic Margherita, adorned with fresh tomatoes and basil, was a timeless favorite, while the pear pizza provided a delightful twist with its sweet and savory combination. The spinach calzone was a comforting indulgence, bursting with flavors and textures. While the service was a bit slow, understandable given the bustling atmosphere, the lively ambiance added to the overall charm of the place. Despite the wait, the food surpassed expectations, leaving us fully satisfied. A pleasant surprise awaited us as they presented a complimentary birthday dessert, a thoughtful gesture that further elevated the celebratory mood.

I really loved it because you were so kind and your food were perfect. I wanna go there if I go to USA again. If someone says "Where is your favorite restaurant?" If you are shopping at Santana Row or staying at Hotel Valencia and you're in the mood for pizza, Pizza Antica is a great choice. It's a bustling bistro with indoor and outdoor seating with excellent food and service. We had a Pizza with cheese and fennel sausage with an order of their appetizer meatballs (3). That was perfect for two people to share. I really liked the pizza sauce as well as the marinara that accompanied the meatballs -- so much so that I'm going to try the pasta next time. I also had a cup of tomato soup, which was wonderful. The other thing that I really want to try is their fried chicken. I saw a plate come out of the kitchen and it looked delicious. As mentioned, the service is excellent, but I do have to say that it's just a little too noisy on the inside if you're looking for something intimate.

I have a few fan favorite food items that are delicious at Pizza Antica, but my favorite is the gnocchi with sundried tomato and pesto! DE-LISH! It's perfect every single time. The second would be the margarita pizza (ask for some extra, fresh basil). I enjoy eating up at the bar and the staff is always friendly. Although my drinks of choice are tequila, beer or proseccos, they have many interesting looking drinks.

Potato pizza with the truffle sauce! I was skeptical too but one of the girls at the table was insistent we got it and wow. Also the Meatballs are amazing! I believe in getting the foods there’s just no way of replicating and this place has variety in that category!

Excellent margarita pizza, thin crust and simple. Pretty close to the real deal. Olive oil chocolate cake was also better than expected. Will return to try other dishes. Service was great. Might need reservations on busy days. 20% automatic gratuity.

If you want to have a foodgasm in the Santana Row area, this is the place to be. The fennel sausage pizza , topped with Italian sausage, caramelized onions and mushrooms with pecorino is a melt in the mouth pizza. The potato and ricotta gnocchi was yet another culinary delight. The pillowy gnocchi on a bed of creamy ricotta sauce along with pesto was topped with well dressed arugula and crunchy pine nuts was delicious. The apple and wild arugula salad was crisp and fresh! Overall a great meal to enjoy with family and friends

Fabulous place for great pizza and pasta. They have had pretty much the same menu for more than 10 yrs and the taste has not changed. Great place for lunch with kids or hangout with your friends. Our goto favorite for super delish pizza on the row! They have a good selection of wine and beer as well.

I’ve been a regular here for years, and it remains my absolute favorite pizza spot. While everything on the menu is solid, nothing beats their Margherita pizza it’s a total standout. The atmosphere is always vibrant and lively, making it the perfect destination for either a casual lunch or a great dinner out.

I don’t like potato on pizza but this restaurant changed it for me. Their heirloom potato pizza is a must try. Would recommend it 100% to anybody. For desserts I had affogato which was also good.

Stopped by with friends for dinner. Food came out pretty fast. We ordered: Margherita pizza: 4/5 good strong basil flavor Pumpkin pizza: 3.5 /5 I liked the crunch of the pumpkin seeds and the flavor of the cheese. Cobb salad: didn't try it but parents liked it Shaved Kale salad: 5/5 best item that we ordered. Fresh and great taste and crunch.

We`ve been dining a Pizza Antica for years and it has only gotten better. The pizza is great, meatballs are a must and the chicken picatta was well balanced. The heart of the restaurant is the service with an incredibly friendly group of servers who really take the experience to the next level.

In the heart of Santana Row, Pizza Antica is a welcome gem. This is the closest thing to Italian food that you’ll find on the Row, but let it be known that this is more of a pizza menu than Italian restaurant menu. Doesn’t make it any less great! So let’s talk food- The arancini are large and packed with flavor. This is a must get. All of the salads are great - and perfect for sharing! Highly recommend the Caesar or the peach and arugula. Now, pizza! They are a class act with their thin crust. Crispy, burnt edges but still chewy… perfect (for those that like their pizza that way). Highly recommend the Margherita pizza and the Fennel Sausage (ask to add red sauce, trust me). Both have tons of flavor and are perfect to share or have on your own. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Will be back for many more evenings on their outdoor patio!

my preferred eatery in San Jose. I ate my usual salad of field greens. It never gets old because it's so good! I got the pizza with sausage and mushrooms after we had a Frito Misto. I adored it! It's probably my third fave. 1. Broccoli 2. The asparagus 3. Mushrooms with sausage 4. Heritage Potato My pal included chicken to their Margarita pizza order. As usual, he never finishes his dish. Fantastic work, Pizza Antica.

Pizza Antica in San Jose offers a refined take on classic Italian-style pizza in a stylish yet welcoming atmosphere. The thin-crust pizzas are crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients and feature creative toppings that cater to various tastes. Their menu also includes flavorful appetizers, salads, and pasta dishes. The attentive service and cozy ambiance make it a great spot for date nights, family dinners, or casual gatherings. While prices are slightly higher than typical pizza places, the quality and experience are worth it.

Great pizza spot in Santana Row. One of my favorite restaurants in the area. Food: Potato and Ricotta Gnocchi is really good and saucy 👍 They have a seasonal menu, wish they kept some seasonal dishes like the corn pasta and the fried chicken as a regular… Always busy so I would recommend reserving a table in advance!

M
Maryam Imani-Pecher

I highly recommend the thin pizza here. They used to have tiramisu as a dessert. I hope they bring it back to the menu. The only negative point is they already add 22% for service to the bill! They don’t take reservations. On busy days, you need to wait 30-45 min to get a table.

I went here bc I wanted to sample the best pizza in cali. While the pizza (Margherita) was good, the ingredients were fresh and the crust soft it wasn't the best I've ever had. The cocktail (Manhattan project) was delicious, nice finish. The entrée was great. Fried chicken with potatoes and broccoli was on point. First and foremost it was served HOT! the chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The choc chip cookie for dessert was delightful. If your not from this area, be warned that this location is in a trendy area of San Jose, prices match.

Been going to Pizza Antica for ~4 years and like their food esp. its famed fried chicken and all the pizzas on the menu. But recent addition of 20% service charge feels expensive and I prefer tipping based on the quality of service I get, not pre-paid or included. Doesn’t feel the right way.

Stopped by for dinner while shopping on Santana Row last night. Split 2 large pizzas and a the Kale salad with 2 friends (3 of us total). Enjoyed everything! Service was a bit slow. We were passing by and saw how great that pizza looks like! It was a busy Sunday, we had to wait 30 mins for the outdoor seating (inside would be tight away). We ordered a pizza, salad and wine and tiramisu as a desert. Pizza and wine were great! People who work here are very polite and always ask you if need anything or if everything is fine. The only thing is that tiramisu was okay, it claims to be made with mascarpone but the cream tasted too buttery and heavy. Also they automatically include 20% service fee and 1% tax for smth. Overall the atmosphere is great! And I prefer the outdoor seating as opposed to indoor ones.

Me and one of my cousins ate here, after a few hours of shopping on Santana Row. The restaurant wasn't very busy when she and I arrived, there were several customers sitting in the tables on the patio, but it wasn't packed. My cousin had eaten at this restaurant before and recommended it. It was such a beautiful warm day, we chose to sit outside on the patio, most of the tables were either fully covered or half covered by an umbrella, so sun exposure wasn't unbearable. I didn't venture inside the restaurant, so I wouldn't be able to describe the inside of the restaurant. The outside, where my cousin and I sat was pleasant and comfortable, except for a few roadster cars roaring by, the noise level was calm. I ordered the chopped salad but ended up modifying it just slightly. I don't care much for tomatoes and depending on what the dressing is, croutons are typically the most fattening item for a salad. So they had to be replaced. Surprisingly, I finished my entire salad. It was really tasty, even with my modifications. Also, with my meal I ordered the Strawberry Mint Lemonade since strawberry lemonade is one of my fave beverages, how could I not order it. It also turned out really good. Perfectly refreshing for a warm summer's eve. We also ended up ordering the buratta appetizer, which consists of ..... frog hollow farm peaches, toy box tomatoes, toasted focaccia, saba .... honestly, I found the focaccia bread to be a bit on the hard side, it was not served sliced, so to split it between two people made it a little difficult to share. The table knives were not sharp enough to cut through the focaccia bread with ease. But, I have to say the appetizer was quite delicious and Pizza Antica uses Frog Hollow Peaches, fresh farm to table peaches, an added plus in my book! I thought the service was fine, our waiter was attentive, polite, friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to offer up suggestions and explain what a questionable ingredient was to us. Except for a small interruption from another patron, I found the food and atmosphere to be quite enjoyable. I would definitely return to Pizza Antica, maybe next time I'll try their pizza. Ha!

S
Sonam

Really good pizza, cocktail and staff. They recommend really good options from their menu. The burrata could be better since the bread was very hard to chew. My friend and I tried the heirloom potato pizza and I really liked the taste. It was quite different from traditional pizzas. Worth a try even if you think potatoes don't go well on a pizza :)

My first time here, i had a great experience food was delicious. The service from our waiter was excellent very professional and patience. I noticed tables around me who ordered pizza they would bring cheese and pepper to them, but when my pizza came no one brought anything, i had to go get it myself. Other than that everything was excellent and enjoyable. Prices are affordable. 20% gratuity is added automatically to the bill. Im personally ok with it because im from this area and i know how it works. But tips should be optional not required.

A popular pizza restaurant at Santana Row. This was our second time here. Pretty large place with outdoor seatings. The appetizers were all pretty good, especially the burrata with toast. The three pizzas though were hit and miss. The margarita pizza was disappointing, not enough sauce and the pizza was very dry. The other two were better. Service was very good!

Di burrata is really tasty. The cheese with the sun dried tomatoes pizzeta combo is perfect combo. Aranici balls were good and crispy. Felt it was a bit on the salty side. Potato gnocchi was one of my favs. The creamy sauce with gnocchi and greens is perfect balance. Heirloom Potato pizza a popular choice is also worth a try. The potato slices with butter and subtle flavor of garlic is a nice one. Potato a bit crisper would be perfect. Very good ambience and atmosphere.

The heirloom potato pizza was delish. But as is any dish with truffle oil, the truffle smell was overpowering. An advice to anyone who goes there on a weekend, get on the wait-list at least an hour before your dinner time. We had a 45 min wait on a Saturday. Although, that's almost common with most restaurants around Santana Row and Valley Fair. Also, a tip of 20% was already included in the bill but we were made aware of that while being seated.

I love this place. Love the ambience and the food. I am not a pizza fan but really love pizzas here. Menu is really small but everything taste great. I took off a star because of two reasons. First - the server was little annoying, asking to order as soon as we got the menu and then after every minute. Restaurant was half empty as I went for a lunch on a weekday. I didn’t have this experience with other servers, this one may be still under training. I will give her this doubt. Second, more annoying is - 20% gratuity is already added to the bill. I don’t mind tipping this percentage but forced charge doesn’t sit well. Location is great as it’s right in the middle of Santana Row. Parking is available at 5 mins walk in the parking garage at Santana Row.

It was super busy on a Sunday afternoon and we didn't have a wait time at all. Pizza was decent and surprisingly had some flavor. The person that served us was not the nicest or friendliest. Didnt even pour water for us. The dessert was pretty darn good. Their drop coffee was good too!

This is a must visit place for me wherever I'm in town, the quality of the pizza along with the service is always good. I really enjoy being able to customize my own pizza to my liking, I found that other places that do wood-fired pizzas don't normally let you alter their's so I appreciate that. Very modern but cozy inside, this place is worth trying. 4 stars because of the 20% gratuity added automatically. Service has so far always been great, but I prefer to have the option of what I'd like to tip.

Yummmmm Mmmmay! Very tasty food all around, artistically crafted salads, sauces, pizzas, and cocktails make this restaurant a delight to the senses. Our server/bartender was great, adding positivity to the experience. It's pricey, but it's an engulfing experience to be on Santana Row.

I recently ate at Pizza Antica. I enjoyed their pizza and thought it was good. They also had a nice selection of main courses. I chose one that was very tasty. Overall, it was a good dining experience.

Went here on a Tuesday night with a group of 5, and we were seated after 25 minutes. Service: The waiters came to take our orders pretty quickly after we had sat down and we had to ask to get the bread but it was quite good free bread (focaccia bread with olive oil and vinegar). The food arrived after maybe 20 minutes of waiting and the waiters gave us our check after we flagged one down. Food: I got the three cheese and broccoli pizza with pancetta and also tried the gnocchi. Definitely loved the sauce that came with the gnocchi, the pasta itself was also super flavorful and practically melted in my mouth when I ate it. The pizza was a bit salty for my tastes, but the pancetta was crunchy and tasty and went well with the gnocchi sauce. Ambiance: The palace was dimly lit and was a nice place to have a chat with my friends without being too loud. Overall, a good experience and would probably come again to try the other pizzas and pastas!

Had dinner here Saturday night. We waited 30 minutes for a table for two. No problem. There was live music in front of the Blue Bottle and Santana Row makes for good people watching on Halloween. We got a text when the table was ready, showed up, were greeted, and were led to the seating area outside. We got a table on the south end of the stretch. It was chilly out and the gas patio heaters were on a little too high. Our waiter visited us at an appropriate frequency. Ordered the fennel sausage pizza and gnocchi. Both came out in 15-20 minutes. Pizza was the right temp and had soft & fluffy dough texture, melted & solidifying cheese, and the strong portobello taste. It was sliced so that you could just barely pull it apart with the rest of the pizza staying in place. The gnocchi came out like little tubes of sausages. I expected them to be more pebble-like. The arugula, flakes of some unidentified cheese, and the tomato cream sauce made for a flavorful dish. When we were seated, the hostess warned us about a 20% service charge. It was a line item on the check. Was this supposed to count as a tip? Seemed kind of steep to tip on top of 20%. Line-item total was $47 ($23 pizza, $19 gnocchi, $5 soft drink) and the total pre-tip came out to $63. I ended up tipping ~10% on top of it. I used to work in a restaurant and care about worker welfare in general, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the service fee was not going to the staff. It was my first time here and Pizza Antica put on a strong showing for service, atmosphere, décor, and food quality. Minus one point for the 20% service fee. Let’s pay our service people the right way. (Also tempted to subtract a half point for the lack of Halloween costumes.)

It is a nice place for Italian food. I think the pizza is okay but the spaghetti is really good! We ordered tiramisu for dessert but I think it was too sweet. If they can make it bitter a little bit will be nice! However, the dining environment is great! And the waiters and waitresses are so nice!

Had a lovely meal with my family here. We came after many years and it didn’t disappoint. We kicked off our meal with focaccia. It was perfectly golden on the outside and pillows of softness on the inside. Not overly oily, and just hint of rosemary. Accompanied by mulled wine, also delicious and likely seasonal. Field green salad was elegant in its simplicity. Lightly dressed and greens were very fresh. Gnocchi was a star. It’s hard to find good gnocchi in my experience, either to dense, rubbery etc. But this was just right texture and served with some arugula which cuts richness. We did a make your own pizza. It was good but I feel I enjoyed the other dishes slightly more. I am more NY style pizza person but will never say no to pizza. To round out the meal we got the giant chocolate chip cookie and latte. Both were good but cookie was slightly raw in some spots and I would have preferred it be baked more. But it was still delicious. Latte came a little late and were nearly 1/2 done with the cookie. So knocked a star off for that. It was a pricy meal but ambiance, service and quality of meal was up to par so I don’t mind paying up. There was an automatic 20% service charge + 2% San Jose livable wage /benefit tacked on.

The food is excellent. The service, when we went this time was very good. Our server hand is off to another server. When she was going on, break which I find very respectful. There was no wait. However, there typically is a long wait and reservations are not accepted for small parties. We were also slightly annoyed that they sat us at the entrance to the kitchen when there were at least 10 other tables that were available. This also attributed to the high level of noise They continue to have Internet and cell phone reception problems inside the restaurant.

My friend and I went here for early lunch and ordered: Homemade Focaccia Peach Wild Arugula Salad Potato and Ricotta Gnocchi Raspberry Limeade 2x We were attended by Rianna, who was very attentive, helpful, and warm. She provided great recommendations, and we’re very happy with all the choices we ended up having, apart from the Raspberry Limeade, which was a little bit sweet for both of us. We just kept adding cold water to lessen the sweetness. And the waiting was decent, the salad and gnocchi were very much recommended to try or order when you visit. And we’re overall pleased with the service, the food, and the drinks. Happy to recommend 😊🙏

A good place to have authentic Pizza or other Italian dishes when out shopping or sightseeing in Santana Row and are in the mood for some Italian food. The ambience is casual and one can sit inside or by the kerbside. The pizzas were thin crust and wood fired, just the way I like it. The salad was typical Italian and tasty. One can park in one of the parking lots nearby, so no problem. Rest rooms are clean and spacious. And yes, minimum gratuity is 20%

This business is situated in a prime shopping district, and it's worth noting that there are numerous parking garages in the vicinity where you can conveniently park and then reach the establishment on foot. We were truly captivated by the exquisite interior decorations, and the staff exhibited exceptional professionalism and friendliness. Our appetizer was simply delightful, and the spaghetti surpassed all expectations with its phenomenal taste. However, we were slightly disappointed with the pizza as the mushrooms seemed to be of the ordinary variety that one can find in a can. Typically, when we order pizza from a high-end establishment, we anticipate a higher quality of mushrooms. Nevertheless, everything else was commendable, but the pizza failed to leave a lasting impression.

Hands down best thin crust pizza. Definitely recommend to try the signature pizzas over creating your own. The cocktails are amazing, however try this whiskey based cocktail off the menu"Japanese Smash". The gnocchi was off the charts over here. The place is a bit crowded on the weekends. Probably recommend to sit outdoors if you can endure the cold during winter. Ambience particularly the bar is grandeur. Recommend to make reservation during the weekends.

Very interesting way to get a table. You have to call 30 minutes before you want to eat and provide your name. Then when you arrive you will he told how long you need to wait for a table. They cannot provide you with an estimate when you call. Got a table for 8 on a Friday night after one hour which wasn’t that bad at the end. Overall service was pretty slow. Took 30 minutes to get water and cups. The drinks are delicious. The pizzas are also really good but DO NOT get the black olives on your pizza. Extremely salty. Overall a good choice for eating along Santana Row.

This is a go-to for dining with friends. You can be seated quickly inside but it's really nice outside. Not sure if the wait is always worth it. Weigh options. Food tends to be on the salty side but can be satisfying.

Maybe this is a hot take, but I found the food to be just okay. Came here for lunch one day, the service was great, people were super friendly I just didn't loveeee the food. It just felt to lack a punch of flavor, even the hot oil that we got from them wasn't really spicy. Decent food, just not great - unfortunately for me slightly bland, but maybe I was expecting something else. I will say the burrata app was very good - albeit a little too oily. All together a decent spot, just not "great"

I’ve been coming here for a few years, good pizzas for sure as you can build your own. Last time sat at the bar and service was quick, however my empty plates remained there until I left and the wine selection is poor. The zucchini soup is good if you like strong goat cheese flavor. Take note that they charge a forced 20% gratuity, regardless of the number of people at the table.

Good food, good server, and good atmosphere. A bit noisy that making a conversation is an effort but then equally you can be ignorant too. The reason why 3 stars is, "San Jose EME 4%", which is a scam!!! Make sure that that is removed from your bill. It is doubly painful as we did give a hefty tip on top of that. Hope we are the last victims.

I recently visited Pizza Antics and had a decent experience. The pizza was okay—not bad, but I was hoping for a little better. The crust was a little burnt, and I’m not a fan of the charred taste, which won’t be for everyone. With the amount of staff present, I expected more attentiveness, as service felt a bit lacking. That said, the ambiance and atmosphere were great, making it a nice place to sit and enjoy a meal. With some improvements in food quality and service, this place could be fantastic.

I ordered following Dishes Margarita pizza- It was good simple, thin and soft, the crust was crunchy. Recommend. Potato gnocchi - It was good, sauce was the main taste. Felt overpriced. Once a try is recommended. With ordinary food, the necessary service surcharge is 20% plus 2% so basically overpriced in that area compared to other nearby stores. Good for one time experience.

Margarita pizza- skin is thin and soft, the crust is crunchy. Spaghetti- pretty regular, the sauce is general, I won’t say it tastes great. With only noodle it’s $18, meat ball cost another $6. Potato gnocchi - texture is the same but the sauce is different. It used to be really yummy but now the sauce is just okay. Came around 12:30 on Sunday Morning. Still has seat for four people inside. This place is really popular, it filled up really fast. However, It’s not as tasty as before. With regular food, 20% mandatory service surcharge + 2% San Jose employer mandate and only one server, we waited for quite a while to get our bills. We will not come here next time. I recommend to go to the bakery across the street to get some dessert afterwards.

Ambiance and service were very good, with our waiter being particularly friendly. The pizza was also very good, as was the burrata appetizer. However, given the prices and mandatory service charge, the Caesar salad really is unacceptable. Why you ask? Well, it cost $15 (more like $20 after tax and tip) and came with all of 10 lettuce leaves. Yes, we counted and each person in our party got all of 3.33 leaves of the salad. That's really not going to cut it.

Very mediocre and uninspiring pizza and long absurd wait times made the experience unremarkable! Pizza here used to be much much better. We ordered 2 and the Chef must have been metering their Pepperoni cause on 6 slices of pie there were barely 4 ! The Pizza dough was less tastier than Pizza My Heart and on par with Damino’s. The best part was that once we found seats at the Counter the food came very quick. It’s become a weekly routine for us to come here and put our name only to be notified well into our meal in another place on Santana Row! .

First time going to Pizza Antica, and I really expected better. The ingredients and toppings on the pizza were very minimal and not generous at all. We added mushrooms as an extra topping, and surprisingly there were only about five small pieces of mushrooms on a medium-size pizza. You pay a good amount for a medium pizza, but practically all you eat is bread and sauce. Very cheap and disappointing.

We order out from here a lot. Typically like it— the pizza is expensive, but good. Will think twice next time. Found a rubber band in the meatball sauce my son was eating.

Served a cold pizza that must of been forgotten to take to me ! when I got it I could tell the cheese was no longer hot or just melted and then the lady server said oh that looks great!!!! I have had this pizza here 50x it was hands down the worst I have had and there was only a few tables at 1:30 on Tue when I went!!! I should have sent it back but had no more time to wait !!!! I will not be going here for a $30 personal pizza
