I like to stop here when I'm in the area, always through the drive-thru. The staff is courteous and fast, even during lunch rush! The food is REALLY good! The chicken is crispy on the outside, juicy in the middle and never oversalted! Just good flavor! The portions are generous, the crinkle cut fries are really much better than most places fries. They're quick and courteous at the pickup window. It's easy to get into and out of. On my last trip, we waited a 2 hour drive just to stop and eat here. Really a cut above the competition!

The booth seats were torn and the place seemed kind of grungy but the chicken sandwich I ordered was juicy and delicious. Definitely going back to order again in future. They were beyond busy with the drive thru line seemingly never ended with a constant revolving flow of cars first time here and we will be returning. I have been on a mission for years now to find a chix filet, curious to see how they compare to Kanes.

Deliciously fresh and yummy chicken!!! I do like an efficiently fast drive-through but it’s always a rushed experience at Raising Canes every time which I’m sure it’s the higher ups management pressure trickling down but whenever it comes to missing items or simple things as easy as asking for napkins becomes an issue it’s a problem.

Raising Cane's if you've never been has really good chicken strips, and I'm not a big fan of chicken. They have embraced the local college Texas State even adding it to some of their uniforms. Usually really busy.

It’s always good. I substitute the coleslaw for extra fries. I tried the new alternative chicken fingers in town, Logan’s. But they did not measure up, Cane remains my favorite. And I love their lemonade!

This place is crazy busy BUT well managed so the chaos had zero impact on services provided. Yesterday picked up large order and YUMI was extremely professional and did a great job helping. Heck, even added french fries at the last second and she didn't blink. The party was a success, in part, because the folks at this location did a great job.

It's Cane's it's obviously great. Not the most complicated operation on earth but we would probably be better off if the country was just run by people who have managed a Cane's. We would have less options but efficiency would go through the roof.

Food was fresh and great. And thats a problem. When you serve hot chicken on Styrofoam... it burns holes through it. Nothing with this location. Its every location. Its very unhealthy to intake melted Styrofoam.... plus it leaves fries and bread sweaty. Its the worse combination. Youre better off going butcher paper

Consistently good food. Simple menu. The size of the tenders decreased a while ago. It seems that they may have corrected this. There's a reason the line is always long here... people get what they came for - a good, quick meal that isn't expensive, served hot and satisfies the tastebuds and stomach.

Went to pick up lunch for my Grandchild! Very convenient off of I 35. Clean restrooms and sweet, friendly staff member who took my order :). She definitely made me feel welcome! I could tell she likes her job!

Worker at the counter helped me figure out my online giftcard that was giving me trouble. Food came out quickly and tasted great. Tables were clean. Always see workers wiping them down. Good place for a quick, tasty bite.

They are always quick to greet us when we walk in and take our order. I never have had a bad experience and I hope I never do. The drive thru is just as quick as ordering inside. They make the food pretty fast. The toast is just right. The fries are not to soggy and not too hard. The chicken can be requested extras fried if you want. If you do pick up to go I highly suggest you open the lids until you get home so the good doesn’t get soggy. I hate soggy wet feeling chicken.

3am; super busy BUT super satisfied! Great customer service, explained my order back perfectly especially since I changed a few items for something else. Quickly got my food to me even when I ordered unsalted extra crispy fries. (They were perfectly crispy!) Got my toast buttered on both of the sides and it was heavenly! Chicken was piping hot to the touch and juicy while eating. Even at 3 in the morning they made it right. Definitely will be coming back again!

Great food and staff. Manager went around the restaurant and asked everyone if the food was good and if we needed anything. Canes must cook the food and serve it within 6 minutes. So the food is always fresh and hot. They make great sweet and unsweet tea. I hear the lemonade is also great. Every time I come I always get free food. They have peel off stickers on their cups and most of the Cups have free toast, fries, or even a chicken finger. Would highly recommend this location. I am from Louisiana and eat canes a lot. But living hear this has been my favorite location. Glad we finally got a Canes location.

We stopped by Raising Cane's with a group on our way to a high school football playoff game. The employees were quick to take our orders and very polite and courteous. The orders came out quickly and the food was fresh and good quality. I had been through a Cane's drive through for tea before but this was the first time I had ordered their chicken. The strips were moderate size with a nice batter that resembled home made. The fries were good and I liked the bread that came with the order. The pricing is very good for the meals that you receive. They aren't extremely large but a good portion. It feels like a good value for a quality fast food chicken meal.

I didn't want the combo so I got individual fingers and fries. The order was really quick and I was down to eat it was not as good as the other location when they made it special for me. There was the cashier who didn't understand my order but everything was correct. The tables were clean fast after people would leave.

We might have gone on an off night but the Cane's Sauce was not right. normally this place is amazing, food, people, lemonade, etc. However this night the sauce just did not do it for us. provided they didn't change the recipe, which us unlikely, then I would still suggest this place to people looking for some amazing chicken strips.

Everything is awesome! Everything I have ordered has been great, my kids can't enough of their mash potatoes and gravy and I can't get enough of that sweat tea I am addicted for sure. The quality of the chicken has been steadily declining within the last few months, resulting in a colder and often soggy meal. Inversely, the quality of the bread has been increasing and is a delight to snack on or use as to use as a makeshift sandwich bun for those last leftover pieces. If anyone looks you in the eyes and tells you they enjoy the coleslaw and refuses to substitute it for extra fries- you might want to reconsider the type of people you associate with. The service of this location has always been stellar but do be mindful that some workers may be more on edge during the Saturday night dinner-rush, this is to be expected as the lines usually wrap through the parking lot and block traffic. No human soul is able to withstand that amount of pressure unscathed. God bless the workers at this San Marcos Cane's, you are the backbone of this town.

The food is usually really good and so is the service despite it being a busy location. Had an awkward and uncomfortable experience ordering recently with one of the young women at the drive through. She didn't make eye contact, didn't greet me, just stood there in silence for a minute 🧍 before I asked if she was ready. Only got more awkward from there but spoke with a manager who said they'd coach her up so I appreciate them at least listening to my complaint.

I ate dinner here for 2 months straight due to my laziness in cooking and to be H I like it but it's clear that like it's pretty mid flavor wise but this place will make it crunchy when you ask and I no matter what will always ask for extra crispy everytime

They forgot 6 out of 8 of my canes sauce. Everything else was fine but called to speak to a manager and she said sorry about that. That’s it. It wouldn’t be a big deal if I wasn’t paying for them. It’s not even a big deal but the fact that that’s all the manager said. I wasn’t looking for free stuff or anything I just want what I paid for.

Why are they so stingy with the canes sauce? I made an order and asked for an extra sauce. Paid for it (proof on the receipt that they heard it and charged for it), but then they forgot to put it in the bag. Then I went back a few days later, I explained they forgot to include it last time, but they gave me such a hard time and such horrible attitude, like they absolutely did not want to make it right and throw in 1 extra sauce. Also the size of the chicken tenders has shrunk down so much, it's not worth even going anymore. They should adjust the prices to match the smaller size of the tenders.

It’s good, but at this location I don’t recommend using their curbside because there’s only two spots which are very hard to get into and they never actually bring the food out so you have to get off and grab it anyway. It’s better to just order pick up, park in a normal parking spot and grab it yourself.

I’m not sure if they were just having a bad day today, but I pull into the drive through and the employee taking orders didn’t greet me or anything and told me to just use the drive through mic and walked away. I proceeded to order on the mic and they cut me off and I was waiting for 5 minutes for them to take my order again. I then go to the window and another employee didn’t greet me and just told me the price and looked miserable. Once I got my food I told her thank you and she shut the window on me.

They gave us so much attitude, no need for all the rudeness. It's just a bunch of college kids do not recommend coming here. They also deny a lot of people service.

This Has to be the worst restaurant on planet Earth. When it comes to doordash orders they should have a specific place for that. That way us doordashers could just walk right in confirm the order and deliver to customers. We should never have to wait in line like that. Especially the same line as regular customers. Every single restaurant has the wrong designated line for delivery drivers like for Uber eats and doordash. This unacceptable. They need to change the way they do business like ASAP.

Picked up my food and I was actually disappointed with how the food was cooked. Chicken wasn’t cooked through all the way and fries were also a bit mushy instead of being crispy. Very very disappointed. I hope Canes takes their time in frying their food because someone could become sick if this continues.

Whoever was the girl working the headset on drive thru at 1am 3/14/2025 was rude as hell kept talking over me and would barely let me get my order out. Don’t know if it was a bad day for her or not but don’t take it out on me.

3 measly chicken strips with fries, bread, and a drink for 10 dollars, what an absolute joke. If you want to get rip'd off and feel you didn't get your money's worth then Canes is the place for you. You would get more satisfaction out of a 1 dollar frozen tv dinner than at this place. Spend the time and save the money by frying your own chicken.

Food was good but when I ran out of the special sauce and ask for more they wanted fourty two cents for another small cup of sauce, so I really only enjoyed half of my chicken tenders. Now days it's not about the customer satisfaction but rather nickel and dime them all day long. If it were my restaurant and it meant the customer enjoying their food I would have gladly given them an extra condiment, but that's ok, I'll just never eat their again.

We’ve been to this location multiple times, & most of the time it has been a good experience overall. Not this time. The chicken fingers tasted like cigarettes. I purchased the food for my kids, but ended up throwing the entire order in the trash after trying a piece of chicken when they complained that the chicken “tastes disgusting”. I confirmed that the chicken did taste disgusting.

The service was not good. I waited a good additional 20 minutes for my food. My order said that it was going to be ready by 2:11am in which I arrived at just that time. The food was not even prepared. Then the girl had me sit and wait and she never checked up on the readiness of my order. After waiting an extra twenty minutes I stood patiently in line to ask a different worker what was taking my order so long if I got a notification that it was ready. He said that he didn’t know and then said that it’ll be out with everyone else’s food. He never asked what I ordered. He never checked the computer. He just told me to wait 4-5 more minutes. I seen the girl worker talking with an Ubereats driver trying to figure out his food situation. No one knew who the extra bag was for. They both were checking all of the boxes and couldn’t figure out who it was for. She then slung the bag on the counter behind her because she didn’t know who it was for. The guy worker said that he thinks it’s mine and asked the girl and she said that she guesses that it is mine. So the guy handed the bag to me. I then asked to speak to a manager because that was just too much that I had to go through just to get one caniac combo that should’ve been ready now, 30 minutes prior. He asked if I wanted a refund, in which I said no that I would just like for mg food to get remade. I should’ve just took him up on the offer of the refund because the food was not up to par and the service was horrendous. The tenders were very small. I asked for extra fries and I just got the regular amount spread between the dividers. I will not be eating at this location again.

Late night workers will never get your order right. Wrong combo you ordered and incorrect drink. Go somewhere else for late night food. UPDATE- STILL INCOMPETENT TEENAGERS TAKING YOUR ORDER AND MESSING IT EVERY TIME. GO TO MCDONALDS OR WHATABURGER FOR LATE NIGHT FOOD. CANE'S WILL MESS UP YOUR ORDER PAST 10PM EVERY TIME

Absolutely disappointed. Ordered our food and they told us to go park in the parking lot and it would be right out. 30 mins later, we had to go inside to remind them and that’s when they finally got it to us and we only had 3 box combos so there was no need for the long wait. When the kid finally got to our window to give us our food he had the worst attitude. Then we get home to eat our food and what do I find? Only 2 of the 3 box combos I ordered. What a joke.

Enjoying my soda and looked in my cup and saw a hair in it. I didn't fill the soda, they did. Just ruins an experience to find someone or worse someone's pet's hair in your food. My order wasn’t taken in the drive thru. Both women walked past my car while telling me to drive to the speaker box at the menu. After holding up a long line and still not having my order taken, I went to the window where the workers were, to order from them. The food I received was soggy and wet. Fries and chicken strips were not crispy at all. This experience was simply sad.

Let me start off by saying that I am not someone who is ignorant to how working in the service industry can be. I've worked in it for about 7 years so I'm pretty understanding of mistakes when it comes to most cases. However this is just unacceptable. I placed an otder of 8 chicken fingers, 2 frys, and 4 honeymustard. I pull up to the window and grab my order. The frys are spilled all over the bag but I don't think it's a big enough issue to be upset about at the time. I don't know why but something in me tells me to check the order before driving home. I shrug off the feeling reassuring myself that its Canes. I made a relatively simple order and they have like a total of 8 items on the menu and only the sandwich is customizable. There is surely NO WAY they could possible screw up my order right? Well I get home and turns out; IM MISSING 4 CHICKEN FINGERS. Literally have of the chicken I ordered is missing. At this point I'm furious. I usually don't make a big deal about wrong orders. Hell I got a fish sandwich instead of a chicken sandwich once and didn't say anything. But this is unacceptable. So I drive back and show them I'm missing the 4 strips. They give a weird look and tell me to pull up to the window. I then have to AGAIN explain at the window what happened and they gave me the missing part of my order. No apology or complementary anything for the inconvenience and fries that are now cold. Great. At this point I'm really thirsty and asked for a cup of water to which they proceed to give me the smallest cup possible after wasting about 30 minutes to an hour of my time which has made me late to work. Absolutely atrocious and unforgivabley incompetent service. If you want chicken and not to get screwed over go to the chicken fil a on Wonderware (NOT Aquarena; that place is a hellhole)
