Met a friend for lunch... We sat outside and it was delightful. Went inside to order...tried something new to me: New Orleans Chicken & Sausage Gumbo. It was absolutely delicious! I will order it again! The only challenge can be parking, but again this turned out to be effortless on a side street. Great place, food is marvelous, it's casual, and delightful.

Literally for decades, since working across the street, I have gone to Aroma. I’ve had my favorites like the fattoush or avacado beet salad and that’s what I always get. Aside from their yummy lattes and chai, but I just had their lemon chicken and rice soup and I want to bathe in it it’s so good. It’s like something my grandma used to make, perfect ratios of rice, chicken, and veggies. It’s delicious. I also had the caprese salad with the fattoush dressing, another favorite of mine. Their food is always so good. It’s easy to get in and out and the price is equal to the quality and consistent food that is served.

The beet and avocado salad, which is usually fantastic, fell flat — lacking the freshness and flavor I’ve come to expect. please move the community bulletin board so its not directly behind table and people sitting at it which makes it inaccessible and useless. Locate bullitin board where people can freely access it, post flyers and read them without standing over someones table.

I like this place generally but try to avoid it when a certain person is working the counter. Short guy, wears hat backwards, usually there. He is neither nice or welcoming (but seems friendly to women), but the worst part is he doesn't call you when your beverage is ready. So you have to keep checking back to see if he's put it out yet; then if one is waiting, you have to ask if it is yours. I really wish they'd get someone else to take orders. He seems like the wrong person for customer service. Put this guy as a cook or something. (When another guy was working once, I told him that he was way better than the guy I'm writing about here. He said, "yeah, I've been hearing that.")

Did not whatsoever the basic of experience customer service overall… and in the end the food was subpar and had smaller amounts than in the past! I have usually ordered online, but the two times I went in to eat (last weekend case in point) the environment was badly lit and in parts loud with buzzing from refrigeration… not at all cozy. Changed seating 3 times to try for a better effect. When leaving I saw a cook eating and then blowing his nose next to the food he was preparing. For the amount you spend here? What is happening.

Been here twice. Both times, the food handed to me when my pager went off was the wrong order. Both times, the service was less than lackluster; crabby even. The food is meh; good menu ideas, but overrun processed wraps, too much dressings and sauces. I’ll spend $25 for lunch elsewhere in the future.
