An explosion of delicious traditional Indian spices, giving each dish its own aromatic experience and heat level made-to-order, fresh chai and perfect naan. Within a relaxing atmosphere, you’ll be dazzled by superb service. Save room and be sure to take home their beautifully crafted baked sweets to honor our sweet life.
We have been going to Kabila since 1998 in Union city and were a regular until we were in Fremont! But since moving to tri-valley few years back , I was missing their food. Last week we went to eat pizza on fire and when we stepped out saw the sign of Kabila!! I had to retun next day!LOL! 😃 the food, ambience, and service was great! They make the best palak paneer and Malal kofta! Their milk barfi is to die for! We will be regulars here! I am planning to try their lunch buffet soon! The presentation is great! Serving naan and roti on board was a great id
Amazing food and warm atmosphere at Kabila Restaurant in San Ramon! The butter chicken and goat curry were delicious, and special thanks to Nav for his excellent, attentive service.
The food here was so good. They perfectly cook everything and they have quick service. The atmosphere was really good and overall just 5 star.
We went to the San Ramon Kabila Indian Restaurant and the experience was amazing! The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and served fresh. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Definitely worth the visit if you’re craving authentic Indian cuisine!
We’ve been loyal to Kabila in San Ramon for over two years, and as vegetarians, it’s our absolute favorite for the best Indian food in the Bay Area. Their veggie combo with naan and rice is a game-changer—flavor-packed curries, perfectly spiced, with fluffy rice and warm, buttery naan that never disappoints. The prices are super reasonable for the generous portions, and the cozy ambiance makes every visit feel special. The staff is always friendly, adding to the vibe. 5 stars—Kabila’s our go-to for a reason!
The food here is excellent, just as flavorful as their other locations. Their sweets are truly outstanding; we picked up a generous assortment during Diwali and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Today, we also went there for a buffet. The main course foods were good, but the variety was lacking. There was only one starter option available, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. In my opinion, the price for the buffet isn’t worth it unless they add more variety.
Really liked the place, ambience, and food were very good. Lots of non veg and veg options, buffet and à la carte both are good. Clean restaurant, good staff and good service. Authentic food, can be improved for taste..!! Recommend it for variety, staff and seating space!!
I recently dined at Kabila Restaurant in San Ramon, and it was an incredible experience. The Chicken Tikka was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, while the Lamb Punjabi was spicy and savory. The Fish Pakora was a standout dish - crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. I was impressed by the generous portion sizes and exceptional quality of the food. Kabila Restaurant truly delivers on its promise of authentic Indian cuisine with a modern twist. The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this place is a must-visit for any foodie.
Absolutely amazing buffet experience. All the food was really fresh and a really good variety. Good mix of both veg and non-veg.
I ordered take out Malai kofta and saag paneer. I am home sick and can never find good Malai kofta. I took a chance on this place and it was executed perfectly. I am so excited and I'm feeling better now thanks to Kabila. The food has nourished my soul. It was also wrapped extremely well for transport and the food was hot upon delivery. That is so important with curries. Very well done!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kabila restaurant in San Ramon with a group of 11 people. a contemporary Indian restaurant that left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with a big smile and a vibrant ambiance that set the stage for a pleasant dining experience. The first thing that struck me was the restaurant's impeccable service. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the cuisine they were serving. Mani took care of us so well with a warm heart. He took the time to explain the menu, offering recommendations based on personal preferences, and ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was taken care of. Moving on to the star of the show - the food :) The menu showcased a creative blend of traditional Indian flavors and contemporary twists that delighted my taste buds. Mango Lassi and Samosa Chaat were my top favorites. I ordered salt lassi first which was too sour for my taste but the staff exchanged it promptly once we brought the issue to their attention. From the appetizers to the desserts, every bite was a revelation. We tried several dishes there including Chhole, Paneer and Yellow Daal with Naan. Each dish was a masterpiece, skillfully crafted with attention to detail and presented with elegance. In the dessert, we tried Kulfi that came with a perfect combination of taste and texture. The restaurant's contemporary décor, with its tasteful blend of modern elements and traditional Indian motifs, added to the overall dining experience. The comfortable seating and ambient lighting created an inviting atmosphere that was perfect for both intimate dinners and larger gatherings. Overall, my dining experience at Kabila was exceptional in every way. The combination of outstanding service, delectable cuisine, and inviting ambiance created an unforgettable experience for the entire family. Whether you are a fan of Indian cuisine or simply looking for a culinary adventure, I highly recommend visiting Kabila. Be prepared to be impressed and indulge in an extraordinary culinary journey that will leave you craving for more...
Writing a late review. I tried their buffet lunch last month with colleagues and it was super delicious. Totally worth the price! They serve hot & fresh naan or flatbreads at the table. I went again just before Diwali, just to buy some sweets, and was pleasantly surprised with the huge variety of sweets placed on the buffet table. You could pick whatever you want or mix it in the available boxes for a flat rate weight-wise. It was a wonderful mithai buffet experience. Very delicious sweets. Update: All the vegetarian-items were delicious in the buffet. I would recommend buffet instead of a la carte. Loved Samosa!Naan was fresh and soft. Update: This time I ordered same food at home and every item quality was down. Kadhai Paneer quantity significantly less in takeout order. I would not recommend takeout. Instead of cucumber ratia they filled box with plain yogurt. It was really disappointing. Why should I pay $4 for plain dahi. They could have said it’s not available. Paneer was also not great just ok. ******** Original ******* Food: We ordered Kadhai Paneer, Garlic Naan and Raita. Kadhai Paneer was very good. I always order Kadhai Paneer and this is one of the best Kadhai Paneer in the Bay Area.Generous quantity. Raita was creamy. Ambiance: Great Ambiance , Clean and nice dishes Price: Reasonable Service : Slow I did not cut point for service because food was really good.

I had an exceptional experience at this restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the warm ambiance and elegant décor set the perfect mood. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with great recommendations. The food was simply outstanding—each dish was beautifully presented and full of authentic flavors with a modern touch. The spices were perfectly balanced, and you could really taste the freshness of the ingredients. Whether you’re looking for a special night out, a place to celebrate, or simply enjoy refined Indian cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommended—I’ll definitely be coming back!
One of my favourite indian buffet restaurants. Their chicken tandoori is super tasty. Mutton is soft. Butter chicken is very standard. Gives you freshly cooked naans at table. All other veg items are also equality tasty. Price wise very competitive.
Kabila is my go-to spot for a business lunch, and it never disappoints! Their buffet deal is unbeatable, unlimited food with top-notch quality. The butter chicken is absolutely to die for, and the naan is always fresh and fluffy. Every dish I’ve tried has been flavorful and well-prepared, with great presentation. The staff is consistently friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. The ambiance is cozy and family-friendly, perfect for both casual and professional settings. On top of all that, it’s very affordable for the quality and variety you get. If you love Indian food (or even if you’re new to it), this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend, 1000%!
I had a wonderful experience at Kabila Restaurant! The food was flavorful, fresh, and cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The pakoras were especially delicious and perfectly crisp. Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for tasty Indian food there was girl nav she gave really good service 🎉

Nice decor and good tasting food. The restaurant is very welcoming and the service is warm. I felt they were bit short staffed that food took a while to arrive but the taste and courteous service compensated. There is good choice for both vegetarian and non-vegetarians. Their medium spicy is not at all spicy and if you're used to Indian spicy ask for hot.
Must place to eat in San Ramon. It's spacious, beautifully decorated, giving us a great India feel. The food came on time. It was authentic and delicious. But what I loved the most is : "Hospitality". It was such a warm, generous and friendly reception. They treated us so well. We interacted with a few working people there and they all were awesome. I would love to try their buffet next. :)
Finally San Ramon, got well deserved, long waited, good Indian restaurant. Starting from the clearness (probably because it’s new), great attention to the customer needs with in time service, thoughtful floor plan and delicious Indian cuisine makes this place a go-to location in Dublin, Pleasanton, San Ramon and Danville area. Give it a try and you will not regret! Will be back for more pleasant experience with great pleasure. Thank you.
One of the best buffets; highly recommended. It’s a big restaurant. They Could do with some makeover as a lot of sofas are ripped
Kabila has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in San Ramon, and a big reason is their mind-blowing Tandoori Chicken. I’ve tried Tandoori Chicken at countless places over the years, but Kabila’s is on another level — perfectly marinated, incredibly flavorful, and cooked to absolute perfection. The meat is tender, juicy, and has that authentic smoky char that’s so hard to get right. Every bite feels like a burst of pure North Indian goodness.
Fantastic food - both vegetarian and Non vegetarian folks will love! We tried Gobi Manchurian, Fish Pakora for starters. Big portion size for both that was sufficient for 4 people. For main course we ordered Kadai Paneer, Prawn pepper Masala, Dhaba Bhindi with naan, rice. We also ordered a Veg biryani. All items were equally good. Service can be a bit better. We had to ask for water refills, condiments etc. Another suggestion is to bring halal meat. They also check for vaccination card before you are seated. You can download the digital vaccine card to your Apple or Google wallet to avoid any inconvenience.
All the veg items in the lunch buffet were delicious. Loved aloo gobi, saag and paneer mutter. Naans are soft and well made. The number of items in the buffet were a little less than expected for the price we pay. My friends loved the non vegetarian items. Service was very friendly and fast. Restaurant has good ambience.

A la carte was outrageous!! I picked up a lamb rogan josh. I was surprised to get a 12 ounce container with a few pieces of the lamb. It was $19 for it!! Way too expensive with not so outstanding taste. To compare that, their buffet is similarly priced. I like their buffet instead. Clean, spacious and the food tastes great.
I’ve been there several times for the lunch buffet. Food is pretty good. Service & host is not great. We went for lunch buffet with a group of 8 ladies. The girl at checkout refused to bill us individually. She was extremely rude about the whole issue. At least she could be polite. We were treated like people asking for free food!!!! None of us are ever going back again. They just lost a few loyal customers
Good food, not so good service. Be aware that mild here is a bit spicy, but the flavor is good. Service leaves a bit to be desired. We tried to order an additional Naan from 2 different people, and it never came. Had to go to the front to ask for our check. They came once to refill water, but that was the only time anyone came back.
I had a very frustrating experience at your San Ramon location. I called ahead and a representative confirmed that you had Ghevar in stock. However, when I arrived, the employee at the counter told me that the call center was mistaken and that the San Ramon location doesn't make Ghevar. I even called the number again in front of the employee, and the representative on the phone once again confirmed that the item was available. The counter employee simply dismissed the information, leaving me to question the reliability of your restaurant.
Food is good but is very oily - especially for carry out orders for large gatherings. Price is slightly on thr higher side - presumably due to location.
This used to be our go to place . Unfortunately the food quality has gone down unfortunately! Palak Paneer, kababs etc have more food color in them which is extremely unhealthy. Indian sweets are pretty decent Good and courteous service! , hence the 3 star.

We went here for Father’s Day lunch. While the food itself was good, the service was quite disappointing. The naan was served so late that we had to eat rice and curries without it, and by the time the naan arrived, we were almost done with the meal. They were also very slow and almost careless in refilling the vegetarian items in the buffet area, which left many options empty for long periods. Overall, it was a bad experience, especially considering the price we paid. Definitely expected better service for a special occasion.
We ordered a Chicken Biryani (Spicy) , Garlic Naan and Chicken Seekh Kebab as a take-away order. We are in trauma. The chicken biryani had capsicum and big cut onions. Whatever it was , it was anything but a Biryani (no flavour of Biryani, no looks of a Biryani, taste.. forget it !) . I confirmed , the receipt did mention Chicken Biryani , so it was an attempt to make a Biryani for sure , but failed miserably. The Garlic Naan was another disappointment - it was exactly like the bread naan available at Costco.(which is not what I was expecting from a restaurant order) Seekh kebab was ok. Maybe I landed at the place on a wrong day , I am trying my best to give them the benefit of doubt, but it's tough !
Disappointing dinner experience on a not so busy Thurs evening. slooow service. ordered Gobi Manchurian and Tandoori chicken for appetizers. Gobi Manchurian were blobs of raw dough inside.. (see photo). Main course was alright but the slow service killed appetitie and were itching to leave.. did not understand why they seat us facing kitchen door and restroom when there is hardly anyone and enough seats were open in the front. maybe just takeout or do buffet (self service).. not cut out for dinner with such poor customer service.. and just soft opening menu.

Drove about 30 minutes to this restaurant for their lunch buffet. There was plenty of room, about only half of the tables full. They were rude from the beginning, telling me to sit and wait and give them 5 minutes. Well, it's been 15 minutes now, and im the ONLY one waiting. I was just about to walk out when they offered me a table. They never did give me any naan bread but gave everyone else a basket. The food was lackluster. The meat tasted cheap and I had to spit out multiple pieces. Their goat was their best meat and even then it wasn't very good. Many others came before and after me, none were sat down to wait. All of them were able to go back immediately and start. Ive been to dozens of buffets and this was one of the worst. My favorite in the area so far is indian hot spot on Bollinger canyon road. It only has buffet on fri, sat and sun and it is about 10$ more expensive, but trust me it's worth it. The food and service is 10x better than this place.
The experience at your restaurant was really awful. I called the restaurant too many times to speak with the manager or owner about the attitude of the staff, but nobody picked up. When I visited the restaurant on 2/17, one of the waitress was extremely rude to us. I asked for water but when she poured water into my glass without realizing it was getting full Unfortunately, she spilled it on the table, didn't apologize, and walked away. I would definitely bring up this rude behavior with higher management.
First of all, we had to wait 15 minutes in line to put in a takeout order. Then they said 25 minutes, wait but it took 50 minutes for them to get my order done, a total of 65 minutes. Then we bring our food home and all four entrées tasted about the same, rice was undercooked, and the very mild butter chicken was spicy so my husband could not eat it.. All in all, not a good experience.
