Coming in to the restaurant, everyone was on their cell phone. However, they gave us a few seconds to figure out what we wanted (we already knew why we were there! 🤣). The lady whose name I did not get was extremely polite and cordial. We ordered four blizzards, one sundae, and helped one of our group of six get all of the finished products to the table, which occurred actually very rapidly (I had barely time to use the restroom). The Brookie Blizzard was good, and no one else had complaints although we had just come off of a 5 mi hike at Colorado Bend State Park and were in need of refreshment which DQ provided. Four stars because the cleanliness of the restaurant was a little bit lacking: our table was dirty as was the booth seat. Others have mentioned the drive-thru which is more of a pull-up order window.....just go inside and get some steps in!!

Food was good. The lady that took my order did not give me glasses for the soft drink. She said she would make them when food was done. She then disappeared outside. After all the food was done had to ask for glasses for soft drinks and for them to make the shake. The lady that took my order was still outside on cellphone when I left.
I pulled up at the drive thru and sat for a couple of minutes, finally said hello in hopes of ordering and after the 4th "hello" the lady on the speaker told me when I know what I want to order, to pull up to the window lol Getting the heel of regular bread instead of getting Texas toast is the most disappointing. 😒 And if you love thick gravy, it's almost as thick as mashed potatoes 😊 But the food is hot

Service was great. The staff was super friendly, and the milkshake was really really good, but the food... I got the chicken strips and they were burned so badly and were so dry that I couldn't finish eating them. The fries tasted stale and old. But the worst part of it all is that we waited for our food for almost an hour. The night we went was a holiday and it was late so nothing else was opened, so we were at their mercy. But not worth the wait would be an understatement.
Tried to place a call in order and no one answered the phone, I tried several times, so we drove up there. We went to the drive thru and no one asked for our order we pulled up to the window placed our order and when we left we checked our order and it was wrong it was suppose to be a 4 piece chicken strip and a 6 piece chicken strip and we got a 4 piece chicken strip and and 4 piece steak fingers. we were too far down the road to turn around and go back. Our total for both was $25.00.
My taco salad had so much water in the bottom.I had to take a napkin 3 of them to get the water out of it.There wasn't enough chicken in it the constitute a serving as much as you pay it was very disappointing. One in our party had a dipped cone and the ice cream was too soft.It was just a disappointment all around. Had to ask for napkins and no ice in machine? Usually I like DQ This one was not impressive
Pulled in the drive through to get something quick and the kid over the menu speaker said “We’re closed” even tho it was 6pm and Google says they close at 10pm, we figured oh well maybe it’s just cuz it’s New Years, that’s fine. But as we start to drive away, what I’m assuming was the manager, comes running out saying they’re not closed, to pull up to the window and is yelling at the kid who said that as she walks back into the building. So, confused, we pull up to the window and a different lady walks up to take our order but looks and acts like she’s annoyed by us being there. We got our food in a decent time and it was okay other than the fact that there was a large hair in one of the burgers, but staff might wanna work on their customer service attitudes, coming from someone who works in customer service🤷🏻♀️
Dirty establishment, needs to be cleaned. My crispy chicken salad was sitting on top of a bed of water. Never had such a soggy salad. I ate most of the chicken off the top but I couldn’t enjoy all of the salad. Also had a young man working in the back who was frustrating my husband with his mouth, then a grandma stepped in to ask him to please stop because she had a child with her.

Really, REALLY bad service paid $7 for a TINY thing of cheese bites (we get a huge box for the same price in our hometown). Raw bacon on a burnt burger. Not a good experience at all.
Sat in the drive through at 7:55 pm for at least 5 minutes. Not a word was said. Gave up and drove through to see employees sitting inside doing nothing and one standing in the kitchen doing nothing. I guess good help is hard to find, took my money elsewhere.
Stopped in Sunday the 25th of August. Apparently only one person working and he was at the grill. Never acknowledged us. A simple “Be with you in a Minute” would have been appreciated. We left after 10 minute's. Enjoyed our DQ at Lano instead.
Food was ok. Stopped here thinking it would be quick in and out. Went through the drive through and nobody answered. Went to the window and took several minutes as the lady appeared to be busy with their friends and no joke a goat. After putting my order in they made me park up front and wait 15 min for my food. Did not end up being a quick stop. Should have just stopped in the next town
Worst dairy queen I’ve been to. Horrible I mean HORRIBLE service! Waited forever for my food and they were not busy at all! Food was cold when I got it. Workers in the lobby just sitting around playing on their phones when they should be working. Just a horrible experience and I will not be back. Just pathetic.! Do better
Slow, dirty and inept. Took >20min for a single person order. in that time i watched multiple orders made wrong and guests coming back to complain. One of them was made wrong a second time after explicit instructions. The guest then said they were over it and demanded a refund. Avoid!
Id give this place 0 stars if I could. We sat at the drive through intercom for literally 15 minutes thinking no biggie maybe their just really busy till we pulled up to the window and asked the lady working if the intercom was broke and she said “no I just don’t feel like taking drive through orders
Rude people, as soon as we got off the car the staff was staring us down like they were annoyed customers showed up, probably cus they were sitting on their phones in the dining area, lol, was passing by on a road trip looks old, I had my dog on a leash he’s trained, she told me I had to step out even though I told her I jus wanted to order and wait outside I understand not every place is pet friendly but not even let us order? Ridiculous
Walked in and wasn't greeted or told a single word. In fact, the woman who was working seemed annoyed by my presence. One of the cooks walked by taking an order to a customer, and not even he smiled nor greeted me. I stood at the counter for at least 10 minutes. I walked out and loudly announced I was going to Sonic. Please take your money elsewhere. This establishment couldn't care less about you.
Do not visit this location of you are in a sort of a hurry. Ordered at the drive thru and was told to drive around front and the food would be brought to us. 24 mins later, my husband walked in to see the food sitting in the kitchen and the cashier was sitting at a table in the lobby with a man. We could see through the window that she’d been sitting there the entire time. Employee in the kitchen said he called “order up” twice and the cashier didn’t move at all. It’s so disappointing. The food was ok, just terrible slow service.
Wow!!! That was a sad visit. Waited almost 45 mins for 2 small meals. Kids meal was cold when we finally got it. A lot of folks were waiting for food on a Sunday afternoon. We are DQ people, but will not be going back to San Saba DQ again. Do better!
