A small cute Sushi place with lots of great options! This is almost a hidden gem. It's been here this whole time and I didn't notice😅 They have pretty good selection for vegetarians and it quickly drew me in! It's also pretty inexpensive compared to many other sushi places in the area! Their service is pretty quick as well! Only downside is it's small so it doesn't have a lot of seating! Shall be going back again!

Happy Sushi is a small little place in Camino Real that is a must if you live close by (Santa Clara) pretty simple both on the outside and inside but food options are pretty solid. I had the Bento Box and Salmon was cooked to perfection with a tasty sauce. Sushi was great, well cooked and portions were good, I would recommend getting some dumplings 🥟 as they were so crunchy and meaty. Sapporo and Asahi beer Options and casual atmosphere. Give it a shot, you will not regret it 👌🏻

Sushi was good and fresh, vibes were good as they were playing some good jazz/pop music. From the outside the place looks a bit dead but one you enter they have a cozy atmosphere. I just wished the waiter told me I had a miso included with my combo instead of making me order an extra one

I am just an average Joe who enjoys the occasional cooked rolls and shrimp tempura rolls and overall fun rolls. The raw fish here is fine and there are lots of creative rolls here sure to match your preferences if you don't like raw fish. I've never had the food-food here. One particularly cool thing about this place is the vegetarian rolls. They were really tasty and satisfying even without any seafood in it! I feel like veggie rolls are often after thoughts at other restaurants, but they're great here. 🥰 Service is quick and the food comes out fast. FYI - Parking sucks. It's unfortunate how the plaza is laid out. Each business is given a few spots, so if parking is limited, see if any of the other businesses are closed for the day. Then you could probably safely use their spots.

Delicious!! The inside of the restaurant is very cute and cozy and the staff was friendly and attentive. Every roll we ordered tasted great - the Spicy Dragon and Rockstar both really stood out. Will absolutely be back to try their sashimi and bento boxes!! Muy deliciosa, el interior fue muy linda y los empleados son amables. Mi roll favorito fue el “Rockstar” con unagi y salmon. Voy a regresar a Happy Sushi muy pronto 😍😍

Amazingly fresh and large cuts of sashimi. I stopped coming here before they were closed for lunch most of 2019. Tried it again today and WOW. New owner and he has made the sushi even better. My priorities are fresh, fresh and serving size. If you came in the past, try it again. If you have never been, you are missing out. Very modest looking from the outside but very tasty for your inside. Ha. Enjoy.

Came here on a Friday around 7pm, there was no rush and we were seated immediately. Everything we tried was good. The fish is fresh and the portions are great. They don’t slather on too much sauce that everything tastes homogeneous. We LOVED the torched salmon belly- it was melt-in-your-mouth amazing. Would definitely visit again

We were here years ago and remembered that we enjoyed it, so when were around the area, we decided to come again. And it lived up to our recollection. They serve generous proportions of fish in their rolls, and the prices are very reasonable. There is a roll I would not recommend, however: the no-rice sushi burrito.

The sushi tasted great, but the tempura and fried dishes lacked the perfect crunch, ending up a bit tough and not as flavorful. Nonetheless, the service was excellent, hence a solid four-star rating.

The reason I deducted one star from review is related to their tip suggestion. When the bill came first time, the tip suggestion is based on the pretax amount. But after I gave my credit card to them and got the receipt to sign, I found the tip suggestion was suddenly changed to after tax amount. Of course, I still follow their new suggestion. But I want to point it out here so everyone knows that.

The sushi rolls were of perfect size however the consistency was varying. Two out of five rolls were really well made and excellent in taste. The other rolls were lacking the punch. Also we had to wait 25 more minutes for pick up but we understand they were short staffed. This was our first try with this place, so we will go back again. We found the fish used to be of good quality. Although we ordered it take out but the place was busy when we arrived for pick up.

The atmosphere is small and cozy, the food is similar vibes as well. It’s nothing fancy or high end but simple and good. A lot of decently priced rolls below $10. The pricer ones are like $15. Udon options are limited but Chicken one was delicious. Very hearty and healthy. I really liked the Lion King roll ($15) and the salmon skin roll ($7). Jalapeños bomb is also very delicious ($8). Overall, good meat / price portions, a lot of places put way too much rice and it is way too salty. This place has none of that. So this is a good place if you want a simple, no frills place.

I ordered takeout through Uber Eats from this place, so can't comment about the service and atmosphere of this place. I got the spicy dragon roll, gyoza and salmon teriyaki entree. The gyoza was standard and it was a slight let down because it wasn't warm, but that's completely on the Uber driver as he had to make a few deliveries on the way. The spicy dragon roll was disappointing, it wasn't spicy at all and the sushi roll's rice didn't appear spot on. The salmon teriyaki was standard and decent. However the miso soup was plain bad, too watery and lacking flavor.

Had two different special rolls that had tuna, salmon and albacore. None of them were tasty nor fresh. Albacore was too thick and the color was off. Tuna was excessively dry and tasted old, and warm. Salmon inside was almost ok, but again, I think the temperature was the taste breaker here. Also, if asked for lemon slice on top of one of the rolls, they would upcharge $2. I don't plan on coming back, unfortunately. Shopping mall sushis offer better quality, although it's hard to find a good rice to fish ratio. Although rice to fish ratio was good at this restaurant, the rest of the ingredients made it worse.

It looked like the Salmon was 2 week old, blakish and tasted bitter. The shrimp in the Tempura were so soggy and yellowish looking that I had to throw it out. The sushi were not even rolled properly. The only thing that looked right was the price, but now I know why. You get what you pay for. See for yourself the pictures. Not going back again. Ever !!

I went to this place after seeing high review online, but turned out to be a bad choice. I can say probably the worst Sushi I ever had. I ordered a Philadelphia roll that had smoked salmon. It looked like the Salmon was 2 week old, blakish and tasted bitter. The shrimp in the Tempura were so soggy and yellowish looking that I had to throw it out. The sushi were not even rolled properly. The only thing that looked right was the price, but now I know why. You get what you pay for. See for yourself the pictures. Not going back again. Ever !!
