Have only been to a few locations, but this Santa Maria location is OUTSTANDING! The place is spotless, mice eating the crumbs from the floor would starve! Food was perfect, NOTHING was out to long or dried up. The manager provided the best of greetings upon entering. The staff was always right on top of things. I wish I wasn't just passing through, I'd be coming back many times otherwise. THIS place give you the best dining experience, the kind you hope and wish you would get everytime. Simply OUTSTANDING

First..there's plenty of free parking and is handicap accessible. The atmosphere is clean, relaxing and family friendly. The servers are professional and helpful with great smiles and personalities. The food appeared fresh, and inviting and was very flavorable. I was really impressed with all the healthy food choices to choose from.. and their coffee.. is smooth and hot.

My wife and I stopped in yesterday for a late breakfast. I had some rewards points saved up so I was able to get $20 off the price of both of our meals. The rewards points add up pretty quick and it was nice to be able to use them to help pay for the meal. I like to try a little bit of everything so I had the fried chicken, some okra, fish, some kind of beef I can't remember the name. There were so many things to choose from I didn't know how to act. I like to try just to small amount of everything to see what I like. I went back one or two more times trying different things I got filled up but I wanted to save some room for dessert. I got some ice cream and some pie. Everything was really good and fresh. This is really a treat for us we don't go out a lot anymore as the prices have gone up so much at all the restaurants. So when I do have a little extra money Golden corral goes a long way. Our waitress was really nice also and kept our drinks filled so that's a big plus.

So we got a hotel around Pismo Beach took the drive out here to Santa Maria to the Golden corral buffet. Definitely a 10 out of 10 bang for your buck especially being out here in the coast highly recommended our new Family favorite when we’re out here on vacation. Lots of different options from Mexican cuisine to American style food , Italian food, Great dessert options and a great salad bar don’t second-guess it just go and enjoy , Lunch prices are $16 a person Adult children three and under or free and so are their drinks

Truly state of the art North American buffet. Very clean, well maintained. Huge hall. If dinner must try barbecue. Richard did amazing medium done sirloin. Medium rare to well done also available. Great salad bar, pizza, Mexican corner and dessert tables. Personnel in a hall was very helpful.I honestly don't understand how people leave 1 or 2 stras reviews for such a great business.

First time in a long time to go to a golden corral. The one in our city did not overcome covid. The service was pretty good but we were the last group to come in. Appears to be a new place so it was pretty good. Typical buffet food. Only thing I know is that everyone in our group went away full with no complaints

This place is great especially if you have kids. There is always a large variety of food, they trade out items constantly, refresh items, and everything is clean. I do wish they still had people serving the food, because unfortunately I have seen people touch food and then not take it, but that's buffets in general. But there are also plenty of staff around to try to combat that. It's silly but the cotton candy here is so good. It's always super fresh, the flavors are great, and it's so nice that they have that as a dessert option because it's pretty much allergen free. It's a fun item and since they're all bagged up it makes it really convenient. The staff are always extremely kind, helpful and they keep everything moving along without making you feel rushed.

Sunday lunch was pretty crowded but it tells something about popularity. For non-american that was a great dive in to the american food culture. A lot ”traditional” food is available, with a touch of mexican dishes. At least in this place. Perhaps different choises elsewhere. The flame grilled beef was excellent, btw!!!

The food is mostly cheap overly salty, premade or deep fried garbage though you get loads of garbage for 25 bucks.

I know its golden corral.but they could do better. Pot roast dry and rubbery chewy Seafood salad is always good at GC but not here ! Watery no good flavor. Whoever makes it here Does Not make it like ALL the other GCs. I wont come back to this one in Santa Maria. The seafood salad is my fave item and its Beyond Terrible here !

Showed up . Food was ok , burned my mouth on something super hot that shouldn't have been that hot. Got 2nd degree burn in my mouth. That tell you it's overly hot. People there seem to be out of practice with what needs to be done per department . Told lady I burned my mouth and she laughed walked away.. I guess it is what it is

I wanted to be a fan however left GC in Santa Maria disgusted and disappointed. First off, we were charged for dinner when we dined here earlier this week. Breakfast had just ended so that didn't make sense since it was lunch time, not dinner time. I didn't make a big deal as I had a coupon, but the cashier did not let me use the coupon and called her supervisor over. He looked at the coupon and said he couldn't accept it because it didn't have a barcode. There was a code on the coupon he could have manually entered. We ended up wasting $80 bucks on food that was just OK. What really killed it was the restroom situation. We had been on the road for about 3 hours and popped into the restroom real quick before hitting the buffet. The restroom was absolutely FILTHY. DISGUSTING. It smelled like sewage and it was clear that the toilets had had overflown at some point in the morning as the floor in all of the stalls were wet and dirty. Each available stall my kiddos and I walked into was not flushed and had open garbage bins sitting on top of the toilet that were filled to the top almost overflowing. The only stall that was flushed and didn't have urine all over the seat had a garbage bin with toilet paper up top covered in smeared feces with was close to eye level when we walked in. It was so gross! We obviously didn't use that stall and waited for another. The sink area was a mess as well with some of the soap stations without soap. Luckily we found one with soap. The handles of the serving spoons, tongs, etc. were sticky. The food as I mentioned was just OK. I wanted to start off with a salad, but the salad options didn't look too fresh. The lettuce looked wilted. I got some biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were hard and the gravy didn't taste very good. You could tell they don't add milk to it as it was flavorless. I appreciated that there were hand sanitizing stations available which we used after touching the sticky serving utensils. We ended up losing our appetites and left after eating only a little bit of food. Basically don't take the chance of eating here unless you want to leave hungry, disgusted or sick which is how we felt after dining here. A waste of $80 bucks! I told my husband we should have eaten at Olive Garden instead down the road.

Food was great .. though if you come and it’s busy just go home or somewhere else unless you have someone to babysit the food coming out because once it’s busy the food is gone . Literally empty and out of everything lol staff was nice . One chick had a booty so that was nice .

The waitress was very good but the place is so dirty. Even bugs on the table! Horrible!!! I will not go there again. Most of the dishes were dirty. Had to pick through them.
