Reddi chick is a great spot in the Brentwood country mart. Most importantly remember to bring cash as they are cash only. My favorite is the fish sandwich with a side of coleslaw but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Staff is so nice & food comes out quick!
I was on my way home after a hike in the palisades and my friend said he knew a chicken place nearby we should go to, so we went to reddi chick. For starters this place has so many options from seafood to just your standard chicken. Me and my friends all got the chicken tenders basket which comes with 4 tenders, fries, and some barbecue sauce. We also got ranch and ketchup on the side as well. This chicken is some of the best I've ever had. The breading is perfectly crispy and crunchy, while the chicken cutlet itself is just thin enough that it isn't too hot and gets a crunch in every bite. The chicken pieces are also spectacularly long and large, so you really feel like you're getting a good amount of food. The fries were insane. Cooked perfectly and not overly crispy but not soggy kept me stuffing my face with them. Everything about the meal was absolutely fantastic. The service was quick, easy, and kind. The servers were quick to get me a water cup and my extra sauces. The only thing to be aware of is that they take cash only, so come prepared.
This place is fantastic. It has been here for as long as I can remember. My father has been coming here since he was a teenager and he has been taking me here since I was a kid. They have amazing bbq baskets with rotisserie ribs or chicken, Chicken tender baskets, fried seafood baskets or bbq chicken sandwiches. The bbq sauce is house made and amazing, and the seasoning on the fries is to die for. Sometimes the line can get a little long but trust me, it is well worth the wait for this Los Angeles staple!
ok, this is a well-seasoned, delicious bird. extra generous on the fries. fried zukes and tater salad are very good, too! first time here, and will be back!

Reddi Chick is good chicken for a good price. Food is quick and never disappoints. Staff always friendly and fries are fire
So good. The employees are attentive and thoughtful. I asked if something was gluten free and the cashier phoned the owner on a Sunday to ask. I’m appreciative although I certainly didn’t ask to interrupt a day off. Very good chicken and slaw.
I have been eating at Reddi Chick for going on 50 years. I recently moved from the area and miss Reddi Chick so much! I like the Teriyaki Steak Sandwich (which contrary to the name has always been BBQ, not teriyaki). I also love the rotisserie chicken cooked on that vertical wall of flames. The ribs are good, but these are rotisserie cooked ribs, not smoked, and are different than what some might expect when they think of BBQ ribs. I think they are excellent. Most everything else is good too, notably the fries. I always ask for my fries well-done, they are way better when crispy. This place is unchanged in the 50 years I have been going because they always had things right. This is demonstrated by the line of people waiting to order on any nice day. If people on the westside are lucky, they will still be unchanged 50 years from now. Bring your cash, that's all they take -- also unchanged, and I like it that way.
I’ve been eating here since I was a kid and now I’m 25 years old and they still have the best fries around. I’ve never fought a day in my life but I’d probably be willing to get into a fist fight with someone else over the last order of french fries if it ever came down to that. The kind of french fries you finish in your car if you didn’t finish them on the walk from the shop to the car. One of the few spots over at the Brentwood Country Mart that’s survived for over a decade, and there’s a reason why.

Pretty good basic steak sandwich, would be better with some onions. French roll was decent. Owner was very nice. Fries were good too.
A classic BBQ spot that’s been around for years. I’m glad I finally got around to trying it for the first time. I got the BBQ Chicken & Ribs combo basket. The chicken was tasty, but definitely needed the side of BBQ sauce to really enjoy it. The same could be said about the ribs. On their own, they are decent, but with sauce, much better. The side of fries were ok. The seasoning was by far the best part about them. The overall combo is about $20. While it’s not cheap, you do get a hefty portion. If you find yourself in the Brentwood Country Mart, Reddi Chick is a solid option. I’ll definitely be back to try one of their sandwiches, and one of their famous loaded potatoes.
yummy rotisserie chicken with delicious BBQ sauce plus their side of BBQ beans makes this a great place to come for lunch. parking is a hassle and the lack of eating areas can be annoying but the food makes up for it.
mmm… 👌

I got recommended and they were spot on . I had the steak sandwich for $15.16 .. a very fair priced delicious steak and barbeque on a extra soft roll, nice thick cut pieces of steak( maybe rib eye). Not stingy I will definitely return

Solid food but could be better for price. Order their BBQ chicken breast Sandwich with fries. The chicken itself was a little too dry even for the breast, and not enough flavor from the chicken itself. How ever their BBQ sauce is AMAZING, has such a tangy, zesty taste too it, this alone commands 5 stars but the chicken falls short of being on par with their sauce. It is on the pricey side and the sandwich as a whole was a bit underwhelming, bun could be better too, and the fries where solid. Overall this is place serves solid food just make sure to get more sauce as their BBQ sauce is definitely their highlight.

If the fries are truly some of the best in Los Angeles, I feel sorry for LA. While it might be applauded for maintaining an "old school" feel, their location in an upscale shopping area guarded by overzealous parking valets makes it remarkable more for being out of place than the quality of the fare. Chicken sandwiches were ok, but dry and nothing to write home about.
Got delivery from here last night. Was kinda eh. Tenders were alright, fries seasoned with Lawry’s salt were a bit stale, even though it took a while to come, I don’t think this was a fresher batch. Rotisserie chicken had some garlic flavor, but a little bland and meat tasted kind of old? Also maybe overcooked. Breaded onion rings were decent. Oreo shake was pretty solid, said they used some kind of low fat milk ice cream, but still tasted good.

I have been eating at Reddi Chick for years. All of a sudden they have no baked potatoes. For the past three weeks I have called in advance - around 6 PM on Sunday and it seems that they permit one person to buy up all of their baked potatoes. So, we and our friends don't go there to order chicken or ribs or shrimp and potatoes. So, I cannot recommend it.
Please note this place is a 💵 CASH ONLY 💵 business which is very out of place amidst the other businesses that clearly prefer credit card or contactless payment. Why this was the first recommended place to eat at the Brentwood Country Market is beyond me. To start, the food is wildly overpriced for the taste and amount of food you get. $16 for two tiny pieces of fish and oversalted fries? $26 for three tiny BBQ ribs and chicken that are dry and laccking in flavor? The sauce tasted like Sweet Baby Rays from a tub, too. What really topped off our terrible dinner was the rude kitchen lead. Middle-aged and with glasses, this man had the most stubborn and passive aggressive attitude torwards my partner and the Uber Eats driver who was just picking up an order.
I’m very sorry but I had to give this review because I just had a barbecue chicken sandwich there. And it was terrible, tasteless chicken with a large amount of barbecue sauce in a not so fresh baguette soaked and sagged with the sauce. Such a waste of food and other material.
I don't know what's happened to the signature bbq chicken basket with fries at Reddi Chick in Brentwood Country Mart. The chicken was dry, dry, dry and had no flavor. The fries had to be from yesterday because they were cold (not even luke warm). Potato salad is terrible. Thank God we had enough Ranch sauce to drown the dry chicken in. And for $85 cash? Who has $85 cash anymore. Especially people in Brentwood. The guy serving the chicken was talking to people he knew and not paying attention. Ambiance is nothing but it's just a shack with outdated wall menu's and tacky small signs saying "cash only." Used to be "the bomb." Still popular but I wouldn't go again. I've had jucier KFC!
