Fast Service and Good Food. I recommend the Special Combo Pho and Charboiled Pork, Shrimp and Eggroll Vermicelli Plate!

Customer service is great, very polite and attentive staff. Pho was delicious, very fresh and flavorful. Bahn Mi BBQ pork was packed with veggies with less pork than we had hoped :/ but all in all a lovely place. Great prices too! We'll be back.

Coming from someone who grew up eating Viet food, this place has amazing food, large portions, and great service!

Food was great. Tasted fresh. We like the char on the chicken. Some of the pork dumplings weren't that great this time, kinda smelled, but before they have been great. Sauces seem like they're made the same day. Overall this place is pretty good.

My family frequents this spot for pho and beef banh mi sammies. Delicious.

Excellent service! The food was very fresh and tasty. The drinks (iced coffee and coconut water) were also delicious. They have whole coconuts as well! I ordered a to-go order that was very quick and still incredibly good after getting it home. The shrimp in the shrimp vermicelli was very flavorful and sauteed in a sauce, not just regular cooked shrimp. Very tasty with fresh mint, Lettuce, and sprouts. I really liked the steamed veggies as well, I added a little salt to taste but they were very fresh and a great mix of veggies. The chicken and steamed rice was also good. The prices were very reasonable too!

Totally recommend this place. The food is very tasty and the people are friendly. I used to go to Phõ Ca Dao. Every time I told them, "No cilantro," they still brought my phõ with cilantro. Three times I came to this store (Pho Van), and every time they respected that I didn't want cilantro in my food and brought it the way I wanted it.

The restaurant is always wonderful! It is absolutely one of my favorites in the San Diego area! The Pho always has many items available and the broth is one of the best I have ever tasted. Everything is fresh and the staff is friendly. Average wait time for my meal is around 5-10 minutes. I now live in Arizona and travel back to have at least one meal here. I purchased some to go, letting them know I was taking it back to AZ. They didn't boil the noodles but explained how to cook so it would be fresh. Everything else was packed well and survived the 7 hour journey. Thanks for always being so good!

So if you have a major sweet tooth the mango smoothie is DELICIOUS. it's not too frozen or too runny, the texture is just right. And the boba in it is DELICIOUS. best boba I've ever had. Portions are really good and place is clean. In the photo is my hand next to the small pho bowl. Amazing. Honestly coming here with my boyfriend anytime we crave pho/boba now!

The most bang for your buck when it comes to Pho in East County - with an immense and full menu of options, you can’t go wrong with any of them. Typically get the P1 but decided to try something new with the Seafood Pho here and they did NOT disappoint.

The grilled pork is super super authentic and tasty. I’ve been to many Vietnamese restaurants in the States, Taiwan, and Indonesia; but never found the flavor like this! The staff is also very friendly 💪

Nice, quiet place. Generous portions and kind servers. Clearly a family-owned restaurant, which I love. They also don't bug you while you eat, which I enjoy particularly at places I eat at. In regards to portions, the regular sized pho bowl is actually pretty big. I was surprised. Ended up taking leftovers home. They have a wide assortment of Vietnamese desserts and smoothies that you can add boba too. Try the jackfruit! It's soooooo good. I'll definitely be back. Update: Pho is still the best. Vermicelli noodles dishes are very fresh. Everything I have tried is excellent. Edit: Went back today and tried something new. It was really good!

I like the Phó here. Always fresh and has a great variety. Usually I get the brisket and rare steak phó. Banh mi sandwiches are delicious and authentic. Appetizers are great! We like the egg rolls and spring rolls. Always clean and bright inside. Quick, friendly service. Extra sauces on the table to add to your meals. If you've never had Phó, give it a try. Huge bowl of soup for the regular size. Want more? There is a large size. I think you could almost take a bath in it the bowl is so big! Go. Try it. One of my favorites.

We were in Santee for errands on a rainy day. Perfect weather for a bowl of hot pho soup to eat at home. Found this Vietnamese pho place on Cuyamaca Street in Santee not far from the freeway. We entered the restaurant on the closed side door but the waitstaff was kind and opened the door to let us in and sat us down immediately. He gave us the menu to look and to order food to go. We were excited to see the bun bo hue was available so we ordered this as well as the large house special beef combo. Also, we wanted to try their grilled meat and ordered the grilled beef with rice dish. Unlike some of the Vietnamese restaurants, the entire waitstaff was kind and attentive. Server even took our credit card to process the bill as though we’re customers who ate at the restaurant. A lot of Vietnamese restaurants would require customers to go up to their cashier counter to pay their bills. We loved being treated with consideration and appreciation. Restaurant appeared to be clean and we saw one of the servers mopped and cleaned the floor. We thoroughly enjoyed the pho, bun bo hue and the grilled beef rice dish. Very authentic Vietnamese food at a very affordable price, which is a rare find in the East County of San Diego. We will be back to try other dishes in the near future.

I come here with my sister every time I come to El Cajon for a visit. Their pho doesn't make you thirsty after eating like so many other pho restaurant.

I liked the food here and used to order take out, also. Except, I kept asking and paying for extra peanut sauce for my fresh rolls and they kept not putting it in the secured/tied bag. I don't like having to always check and double check on things like this. If this restaurant is so strapped they can't include extra sauce especially when I'm made to pay for it, they don't deserve my $$. That is all.

Bugs in Food Warning: I have eaten at this place plenty of times without complaint. But I ate there recently and could not finish my food. So I took it to go. After heating up my food in the container they provided, I noticed that as I was eating I saw small dead bugs floating around my vegetable Pho soup! I stopped eating it after I discovered multiple bugs in my soup and some were even hiding in between my unused fork! Wow. The food is really good, but it can still be good without the bugs.

I wish l could give them Minus zero. I came here for lunch today but before l was seated l politely asked if l can use the restroom. The owner replied our restroom is for customers only. I said ok. but can l use the restroom 1st before l order my food... he said NO... you have to order 1st before you use the restroom. I stated ordering food takes time so let me use the restroom and will set down and order my food, while we were talking another other worker got in to our conversation and they both start yelling and asked me to leave and l went next door to Bronx Pizza, used the restroom and the Pizza was great. I will never come to this place again and l recommend others not to spend their precious money and time with such inconsiderate people like them.
