What a find. This place was recommended by the desk person at the place we were staying, and I'd consider a trip back to Saranac Lake just to eat here again. Food was fantastic ... I had the Hank, my friend had one of the burgers, both were outstanding ...beer selection was stellar (get the Wrench if you like IPAs), very friendly vibe and atmosphere made our rainy fall afternoon.

Had the Mr. Rogers here--literally the best burger I have ever had in my life, vegan or otherwise. My son had maple bold wings and said they were cooked perfectly. This place is a hidden gem. Don't miss it if you're in the area!

Came out to Saranac to do some shopping and decided to grab dinner while in town. Grizzel T's was one of the only spots doing dine in options so we went. I got the doc holiday burger which had fried onions on it. I wish more burgers came with those, it add the perfect amount of crunch. Every thing about the burger was great! My gf got a beyond burger with some vegan aioli sauce. She said it was one of the best burgers she has had in awhile. Great music too! Will definitely be back next time we are around.

Tried the Einstein burger today and it was incredible!! Asked them to make it vegan, so it didn't include the cheddar cheese or butter but I didn't miss it at all. The vegan aioli and miso pickled onion were to die for.

This is one of our favorite spots in town to go after a day of boating or hiking. Grab a beer and an order of wings and sit out on the back deck! Plenty of sauces to choose from on the wings. The burgers are excellent, too. Staff and owner are friendly.

The food was excellent, and served very quickly! It would be nice to have the food and drink on one tab, but it's a good way to split a bill! It is a staple for us whenever we visit.

Wow! Recommended by a friend and happy we went! Classic dark bar inside, nice outdoor patio dining too. Appetizers and Sandwiches and a great beer selection. Fried chicken sandwiches are outstanding. Beef Smashburgers are excellent. Beyond Beef burgers were excellent according to vegan and vegetarian kids. Fried pickles and onion rings are great sides. Highly recommend!

Very relaxed and chill atmosphere on the inside, amazing deck out back. One of the best bartenders you'll ever have works here, we always love going while she's working. They recently added in a kitchen and the food and kitchen staff have been great as well.

I believe I had the Chet ripley burger andIrish nachos with bacon and Michigan sauce! (Chefs kiss) to everything! The cheese sauce was absolutely wonderful on the Irish nachos!

First timer for dinner. No wait and not crowded. Had a pool table and lots of beer. The burger was GREAT and the french fries were EXCELLENT. And never underestimate a good pickle. Worth the trip if you are in the area looking for a tasty, juicy burger.

Had a great, low-key time here. I was kinda having a bummer of an evening and was well on my way to being all up in my feelings, but gave this place a shot and totally turned my night around. Solid beer selection. The bartender (Dylan, I think) was chill but friendly. Had an ongoing convo with him and one of the regulars that helped my mood do a total 180. Super grateful for the friendly kindness (and beer) I found here.

My Dad’s favorite place in town and after some years I understand why. After going here since I came of age, I’ve met the most wonderful people and had the craziest times. Kelly, Dylan, and Jameson behind the top bar are exceptionally quick, kind, and entertaining. Food always come out hot and savory, Dylan at the register is always helpful on deciding what delicious burger or salad to order. They have several TVs which you can request any game or show to be on, as well as light stakes gambling games like QuickDraw. First and only bar I have witnessed has such family friendly enough vibe that a Father can teach his two toddlers, boy and girl, how to shoot pool, and during Winter Carnival! (Busy time for town). Highly recommend coming in for one drink or quick bite or short game and making it one or more or a few…your time and dollars are not wasted here, drinks flow and servings are splendid, you’re guaranteed a good time and I recommend making it a long time.

When we walked in looked like your average pub with a slightly dated look. We had a Burger and Wings. Wings were crisp but not dried out (perfect cook). Burger was phenomenal and you could taste the freshness of the Beef, Bun and other ingredients. Highly recommend.

I got a fried fish sandwich and my husband got a garbage plate… which dare I say tasted better than garbage plates we have had in Rochester. Their shoe string fries are top notch!! If you're looking for some modern twist on amazing BBQ pub food, this is your place!!! After an emergency trip for broken foot, I saw their menu online, the Doc Holiday sounded amazing for myself and thr Chris Farley for my husband sent him a screenshot we were sold! We ordered takeout 2 sandwiches and some Irish nachos! 20 min it was ready and we went back to the hotel. The food was AMAZING! the flavor! And packaging. Nice cardboard Togo containers with their logo stamped on the side! Make sure you have an appetite too! My burger I could only eat half! I was so full! And it reheated awesome and was delish the 2nd time around also. The Chris Farley, HUGE! my husband has the appetite of about 3 grown men so he was able to eat the entire thing but it put him into food coma after! The Irish nachos had a beer cheddar cheese on it, creamy and salty and yummy. The fries had what seemed like a sugar and salt mixture on them, so semi sweet flavor, it was an awesome unexpected twist.

Came here with family for dinner great looking joint it is kind of dark inside which I like some but might want more light but none of us cared. If you want it brighter you can go sit on the deck weather and crowd permitting. They have a great selection of beer's if that's your thing we came for food and were not disappointed the burgers were fantastic there were 5 of us so I won't list the different styles and that's needless as you can get there wide menu of burgers straight up or get one as you like it. No matter it will be great as will the made in house french fries that come with the burgers. We got 2 appetizers an order of ducks wings and onion rings and they were delicious and although I can't say on the duck wings the onion rings are made in house. You will not be disappointed with your choices here if you are than there's no help for you. 😉

Such slim pickings for a holiday weekend due to the COVID rules but this was good. Service was good and we ate at the restaurant (on the patio) and enjoyed the view but no table service except for delivery of your food order. We got harassed for a properly trained, jacketed and behaved service dog that we obviously didn't deserve but we still managed to enjoy good burgers great beers and mixed drinks. If your gonna require everyone to wear a mask upon entry, they need to wear it the entire time while inside.

We were sitting close to the bathrooms at the bar and had a scent of the bathroom perfume that they use wasn't that great. Otherwise the food was amazing (I wasn't asked how I liked my santanoni burger) but it came out just how I like it (medium). Otherwise good environment and they have quick draw which is nice.

This bar is much more relaxed than the Waterhole, is less packed than Romano's, and is less expensive than Bitters and Bones. The bartenders are always super nice. The atmosphere is really laid back with areas to sit and hang out a patio outside for smokers and games for people to play.

Food is good but strictly a beer bar. Liquor drinkers should avoid as it’s the tightest pour in town. By far.

Stopped here for dinner, asked the bartender a question about all the different beers, and he just told me to read their board (that's why 4 stars & not 5). Thought great this isn't going to go well...Went and ordered "The Swanson" and my wife order the Irish Nachos. The gentleman that too our order & delivered the food was excellent. "The Swanson" was absolutely delicious. It was cooked to perfection. Definitely would go eat here next time we are in the area.

I love this bar! The food atmosphere and bartenders are great! I really like the plank seating as well. We literally drive from Maine to come here every few months

We stopped in for lunch at the scullery during the winter carnival. The food was great. Our group had a couple of the burgers and the chicken sandwich's and of course the fires. There were no complaints at our table! Stop in and give this place a try next time you are in Saranac Lake.

The post carnival smell almost had me running for the door. Lucky for me I'm local and it's nostalgic. Was totally blown away by all the brews on tap! The servers were great. Found a cozy spot to sip and wait for our food. Once the food arrived I completely forgot about anything Carnival. It was SO GOOD!!! I left recommending to everyone. Thanks for a perfect date night meal!!!! We will definitely be back to try more burgers and brews!

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and plenty to do. Within Grizle T's bar is The Scullery, a restaurant with out of this world flavors. Sampled some duck wings...Yum! Had some fried pickles and The Chris Farley...A quarter pound burger with cheese, bacon, a juicy fried chicken breast, mozzarella stick on a fresh bun with a maple mayo. Hold on to your seats and unbutton those pants if trying that...worth every bite, I almost lost a finger eating...lol! Play some bar games, listen to music on the deck and enjoy a good time. One of the Adirondacks best eateries.

Great atmosphere with a really good beer selection and friendly staff. Large porch space in the back that overlooks the water. The scullary has wings labeled as gluten free but there is a chance for cross contamination. I fully appreciated that the staff were forthcoming with that information and explained their cooking process to me before I ordered.

Good pool table but, the men's bathroom door does not lock. What if I have to drop the kids off? Huh?

Just like the sign out front proclaims, party up front and food in the back. If you're looking for a place to catch up with friends, you've found it. Lively atmosphere with jukebox music playing as you walk in. You order food at back kitchen counter. All drinks are served at the bar. You seat yourself at any available table to await for your meal, which the cashier brings to you. The food was decent but over seasoned. Shoestring french fries that came with burgers were too salty. Even the cheese fries appetiser was too salty and cheese had a grainy texture. The boneless chicken had a very sweet teriyaki sauce. After eating the sweetness and saltiness, you left feeling thirsty. Would I go back, maybe. It was pricey for a burger & fries combo that was okay.

Want to give a good rating but can't. Food was almost too greasy to eat. Used 4 napkins to soak up the grease. Others in the party had hamburgers and other stuff that was good. The back deck post eclipse was very nice, but margaritas were subpar. Think tiny kitchen is new.

We ordered two Caesar salads to go. Thank god they screwed up and only gave us one because it was terrible. Frickles and onion rings were decent.

Overall a really cool bar with decent food and horrible bar service. The woman behind the bar treated us terribly. Everyone else in the establishment was fine. One note - bar is NOT dog friendly.

While in town for work you expect businesses to welcome you. Not the case at all. VERY rude, sarcastic and non welcoming. It appeared that unless you are a local, you aren't welcome. Food was greasy. Bartender practically ignores you unless as I said, you are a face she has seen before. If you want a flat beer - great place to go.

Super disappointing. This place used to be a favourite as it had good burgers and beer. Unfortunately, we were denied service as we had a dog with us. The dog wasn’t allowed inside or on the outside patio even though the owner has a huge dog walking around inside. Hypocritical much? The staff are also extremely unwelcoming and rude!

Highly disappointed because we paid $42.00 for Chris Farley, a buffalo chicken salad with buffalo chicken and feta cheese dressing. I didn't get anything I ordered, plain chicken, a salad with blue cheese and no feta cheese dressing,I order the leafy green lettuce instead of iceberg and got iceberg anyways I called to ask for my correct order to be made and the guy told me there is nothing he can do because he shut everything down already, it's now 9:30pm wed Aug 2, 2023. I'm going without dinner because they messed up my order and didn't want to fix it..and lost money as well. I used to love this place, but this is just aweful customer service, and I tipped them! I'm Highly upset right now
