Opinions de Taco Bueno Sherman
I had an hour to eat & get back to an all day event. Taco Bueno was further than Taco Bell but I chose to drive there. I love their Mexi Dip & Chips- guacamole, queso & refried beans with shredded cheese, with tortilla chips that are just right, not too thick. I get either a burrito or taco with it. It's too much food but I like leftovers. The container holds up well too, a Styrofoam with attached closeable lid, no soggy paper. Plus their hot sauce is actually salsa, in a plastic cup with lid instead of little pouches that can be hard to open with not much in them.
I love Taco Bueno! This one has been a family tradition since I was young. Sometimes it can be hit or miss but usually my food is so delicious and correct.
Good food, good service. They have never gotten my order wrong. Also unlike a lot of other fast food places these days, they actually have paper towels in the bathroom so I have something to grab the handle with...
The guy that waited on us was very courteous and polite and helpful! Wish all fast food employees was that helpful! Will be going back with service like that! Wish I could remember his name I would post it on here. All I remember is it was 10/24/20 about 4 to 5 pm he was also working the drive through too. Food was good too!
It was pretty good for fast food tacos. The drive thru was reasonably fast and easy. I had the Taco platter. The chips and salsa were good. The tacos were good; the crunchy one was better. The soft one should have more meat or less tortilla. The beans were really good. The rice was seasoned well but it could have been cooked a little longer. I got a pork tamale on the side it was really good. Wish I would have gotten a dozen to take home.Connie said the Chilada platter was good.
I had a very nice experience dining in last week. ITS A GO TO PLACE!!! 😊
Quiet place to eat lunch and have great deals.
I am happy to say the burrito 🌯 and taco🌮 I had was very yummy. 🤤 I was delightfully surprised thanks to the wonderful woman who flawlessly did a great job cooking the beans and meat. No They were the best I ever had at any taco bueno 🤗🌼💕
They closed down the Taco Bueno in Paris, TX, and we were very disappointed about it...so any time we have the chance to eat at Taco Bueno, we go for it. The food was great and it was fresh!
Excellent. Order came out right the first time. Didn't wait long at all. Tasted good and fresh.
I am so surprised by how good the food is here at Taco Bueno when compared to Taco Bell. I was never a bueno fan because I liked Taco Bell. Since COVID it seems like Taco Bell has went down. Their food is gross. Taco Bueno food is tastes good, and it seems better quality than taco Bell. They don't drown the beef in sauce, no wilted lettuce. I am hooked on taco bueno now. Their cheesecake bites are so good. Never had cheese cake in a deep fried little burrito shell and they sprinkle powdered sugar on top. Yummy. As long as their food remains like it is, I will definitely keep returning. Taco Bell is not even a option anymore.
A must stop...No keeosk!! Can talk live with a human to order...Prices are way cheeper than taco bell..Food is Muey Bueno!!! Very fresh!!...Wait time , nearly under a minute..There also fast..Very affordable, plus food is filling..Mgr is on duty, and Very respectful towards all customers..A.C. is on and very nice temp..inside.. loved it, first time in ages, However my business has been gained due to every reason Above listed....Goodbye, (Taco Hell) to the non human ordering system.. I do NOT, NOR EVER , NEED ANY MACHINE TO REPLACE HUMAN CONFIDENCE!!! EVER... TYVM Taco Bueno....your service, food, cleanliness and hospitality, go way above.. Would give 25 stars if allowed, unfortunately Google only allows 5!!!.. ..p.s...Bathrooms were spottless, plenty of t.p., as well as hand towels, and soap...Amen!!!
This place is quick and the food is generally perfect. Sometimes, however, they get my order wrong and I have to go inside (I usually go thru drive thru.) They never argue about things, they just give me the correct item and don't want the wrong one back
Don't order the same item in different ways. They always fluff (but think bad word) it up. Let's take a bean burrito. One person wants it as it comes and one person wants it without the red (chili) sauce. They won't care and will make them all with chili sauce. If you order separate, then it seems to be okay most of the time.
Food was good. They started BLARING loud inappropriate rap music while we were in there. I wouldn't have personally cared but we had our child with us. Cursing and talking about shooting people in the lyrics. Was very unprofessional and I was shocked to even think that these employees thought that this was OK. There was another family in there also with a child. You could tell they were uncomfortable, too.
This place was good! I got a platter which included the entree, Spanish rice, refried beans, and chips. They have a salsa bar with good salsa. I chose the red and it has a slight bite to it. The medium drink purchased separately was the average large size. Guacamole and sour cream was included. On the menu was burritos, tacos, nachos, 99 cent menu, platters and more. The sweet tea is acceptable. Cashier was nice, politely corrected my mispronunciation and asked if I wanted a drink. That was my first experience. I'll keep my review updated upon my next visit.
Like everywhere, prices have gone up. The food has definitely gone down in both taste and quality. Still the best place to feed family for $20.
Food is decent, I walked in to ordereat and had 3 people standing in front of me waiting for service, no employees visible. After about 5 minutes of waiting, a female and male Hispanic employee walked from the back laughing. I have no clue as to what they were doing, but their customer service skills need some work.
Very good rice and beans and fresh salsa keeps me coming back. I ordered the whole lotta platter and the taco and enchilada tasted very delicious.
Not bad overall but the salsa bar was messy and I didn't like the way the employee talked to the trainee.
The smell of sewage hits you when you walk in, but I’m hoping the bathroom was broken or something. Once you walk into the area to order, the food smells start taking over. I almost left, but the food started over powering the sewage, so I’m still assuming it was a broken toilet. The food was good. Glad I stayed. I love Taco Bueno and I didn’t want to let that ruin it. The cashier was very nice and it was pretty fast considering how busy it was. Will stop again.
They were ok.. The people were friendly.. the Tacos I have never had A naked taco from bueno before they put the lightest amount of meat on our family Taco Pack and that was disappointing.. there were other “issues” but the people were friendly that’s still important
The rice was under cooked to start with. Next, does anyone know how to drain off excess grease off all meats cooked. Everything was so nasty and the tomales tasted old and dry. I went in to get meals for 8 people and used coupons from the mail. Spent close to 60$ and ended up trying to giving it to the dogs. You know it's bad when a dog wouldn't eat it.
The entry way smelled awful. Bathrooms were unkept. Food was slapped together and messy Front cashier had a horrible attitude, even when we were overtly kind. We were traveling and went out if our way to go to Taco Bueno...it was not a good experience.
If you go, then go during peak eating times. Like lunch and dinner. That when they use their freshest ingredients and the salsa bar is also the freshest. If you dont go then you risk old pico and other toppings. Otherwise its pretty good and fairly cheap.
The food was pretty decent but the place appeared to need a good scrubbing down the service was a little lacking, possibly due to the fact that they may have been understaffed.
It shouldnt take 25 MINUTES in the DRIVE THROUGH!! Some people only get a 30 minute lunch so we had no time to eat. They had our order messed up at the window and not to mention we sat waiting to order at the menu for like 5 minutes..
Food wasn't terrible but the girl on the intercom gets an attitude when you stop her to tell her what meat you want on your nachos. Like damn.. and God forbid you want to add to your order. There are too many places in the area to have to deal with rude employees. Maybe that's why they are always empty....
I have eaten at Buenos for years, but this location is pretty sub par. The food tastes like it's not fresh, and the sauces taste watered down. I used to like beef nacho salads, but quit getting them here because the ingredients just didn't taste fresh. Also, they usually put little to no cheese on bean and cheese burritos, and the beans taste old most of the time also. I don't like to complain, but after trying this location for years, I felt this needed to be said.
Its never one of my favorite places but I go back to see if they're any better than before. They just don't seem to have anyone leading. I went last week and was told after I ordered that they were OUT of meat and it would be 30 minutes to cook it. Only 1 person seemed to know that the issue existed and they were in no hurry to correct it. It was 7:18 PM
Customer service is almost always 10/10. Food can be hit or miss. The building needs updates
Ordered a beef burrito, I got a a beef burrito Supreme. I didn't order a Supreme. I do not like sour creme and lettuce etc. I gave it to my dogs. Needless to say I was pissed 😤
This location is solid when it comes to the staff being friendly and accuracy of getting your order correct. There have been more than a few times where the dining room area could use some extra sweeping and table wipe downs but generally they seem to have a steady flow of traffic that keeps them behind the counter. The food from this location is on par with what you can expect from any other Bueno. Currently they are going through some renovations inside and out so I may add a star after that is completed and if they lean more towards keeping up the dining area more consistent.
Been here a few times, however this time they had run out of muchacos. Didnt tell me while I was at the menu, but waited till I was at the window paying then I had to wait longer because i had to order something different, which they still charged me for. In my opinion I should have gotten the replacement "burrito" for free for the inconvenience.
Taco Bueno should really only hire personal to work with the public, who can actually smile and at least thank the patrons for chosing to spend their money with Taco Bueno. Get the grumpy guys away from working the drive thrus. Nobody wants to feel that the restaurant would rather that we spend our money elsewhere. What's happening to training the workforce now days? Replace the employees that can't even pretend they care. May not go back again. Although I've always liked their food better than their main competition.
First time at a Taco Bueno. This location was a little dirty. The floors and table area could use a good cleaning. The fellow who took my order was very nice. There was something wrong with the soda machine. My soda was overly sweet with no fizz, almost like it was only syrup. While waiting on my food, one of the food line workers must have done something wrong, and she yelled out a curse word. I'm not a prude, but I don't think that's appropriate for a workplace. The food was pretty good. I really enjoyed the beef taco and the guacamole. Some of the chips were stale, but the fresh ones were very tasty. The queso and salsa were just okay to me. I'll give it a 2nd try the next time I'm in Texas.
The last time I went to this location all of the drinks tasted like they had mold in them I assume it's because they're not cleaning their machine as they're supposed to....
If you go during the day, the food is consistent and original Taco Bueno. The lady manager recognizes best and is kind. Ensures the Taco Bueno quality. If you go in the evening the quality is not the same. Do miss the original standards from the 80s and 90s up to the beginning of 2000. Taco Bueno has always surpassed Taco Bell!
Went today on my lunch break waited at the drive through speaker for a while no one answered. I looked over and the worker with the headphone for the drive through was standing in front of the building talking on her cell phone. I went ahead and pulled through. She went inside and I ordered. My mexi dip and chips has maybe a tablespoon of guac on it. Definitely not the amount advertised. I’d like to at least get waited on and get what I paid for.
Food was very good. Bathroom smelled really bad and the bathroom fixtures were nasty!
Update 4/28: It was so much better today! A little skimpy on the cheese sauce on my chicken chilada, but otherwise, really good! Taco Bueno in Sherman is usually one of my favorite places to eat and I always order the same thing, chicken chilada platter, but today it was absolutely horrible! First off it took much longer than usual to get our order despite the fact that we were the only customers there when we ordered. When we did get our food, the first thing I noticed was that the queso sauce was a solid gloppy mess. The rest of the platter wasn't much better: the refried beans were dried out and in a semi-flattened ball, the shredded cheese that is usually melted on the beans wasn't melted, had fallen off and was laying on the platter, the chicken inside the chiladas was stringy and dried out, the bags of chips were only half full, which wasn't much of a problem since the chips tasted like they'd been cooked in old oil so I didn't want to eat them, and the rice was cold. Part way through the meal I took a picture of the food. I've attached the pic to this post. I hope this was a fluke. I'll try eating there one more time, but if I get more of the same, I've lost one of my go-to places for fast food.
Really slow service. No greeting upon entering...in fact, it was like we disrupted their flow of work. Dirty tables, dirty drink and topping areas. Never again.
Poor customer service. Said hello to two different people and got stared at like I was stupid. Food quietly is below other Taco Buenos. Employee arguing with another employee on the line in front of all the customers about his Bluetooth speaker.
For service, not the food. The food was great..but I had to wait almost 30 mins for one damn muchaco. Only one car in front of me in the drive thru, maybe 3 cars in the lot. Come to find out the cook can't talk and work at the same time. I guess his best friend from '85 must have came in to catch up on old times while he makes the food... Ridiculous.. I would boycott but that muchaco is just so damn good.
Ok for Bueno... Pretty standard.. The only reason I'll agree to go because of the condiment bar.. I can dress up my meal.. Not here.. The cilantro was bad and the Pico was watery... So I did with out those items.. At least the cashier was wiping down tables between his texting...
This location is dirty. Beard guards aren't worn. Proper hand was procedures for public safety per health department, ServSafe, and company standards were not followed while I visited with my family. Had to ask for toilet paper and paper towels in the bathroom. This was during a slow period and lots of staff standing around. Management was not redirecting staff as needed to clean up after a rush, or to bring the store up to standards. I used to make for the company at a different store. This location needs help.
Went through the drive-threw around 9 pm to be met with a sign saying that the intercom was broke and that they were out of tacos. Beans was listed as well but was crossed through. Also, no outside lights were on except for the drive-threw sign, so was skeptical if they were even open. Pulling up to the window and placing order I was informed that the day shift didn't do their job of making taco shells. After getting home with my order I find that my nacho chips are on the verge of being burnt and the extra side of meat, at $1.19, is no bigger than a salsa cup. This place has been rapidly going down hill in all the years I have been going. I wish the Denison location was still open.
First and probably only time eating at this place. Food took 15 minutes. Chips tasted old as did the rice. Not sure what the story was with the refried beans. Had to cut the enchiladas with a knife. Mist Twist tasted mostly like water. Sad waste of money.
1030am ordered a Combo Burrito. Tasted old meat or beans. Maybe both. And it was almost cold. Gross. Just got one bite, and scared to eat anymore.
Overpriced for such bland flavors. Almost $10 for a single taco, chips and a tiny side cup of queso. Taco tasted like air.... Not much flavor at all. What a rip off. They seemed very nice though and got my food fast, so they got an extra star.
Normally service is fine but dining area needs attention. Napkins were needed & general wipe down of tables. Lunch time today was crazy. I was there for a half hour & did not receive our meal. It was called & someone grabbed it before I got to the counter. They were to remake it. It never made it. I ended up asking for my money back.
When I walked into this restaurant, it smelled like a restaurant that had not been cleaned properly for a very long time. The staff ignored me from behind the counter for a longer period of time than I would have liked. The salsa bar had no cups to put salsa in and was very dirty as well.
I visited this place when I went to Sherman. Where I live, they unfortunately, shut down a few ago and no one knows why. I love Taco Bueano and will usually get it when I can find it. The store itself had a sour smell and the food was super greasy. I know that it's not all store either. I have visited several locations in the past. I can say the staff was friendly. That was just about the only plus. Would I go to this location again? More than likely not.
I love Taco Bueno. 1st time to this location. I had a muchaco. They're usually soft and easy to chew but the tortilla was very hard like it had been laying on a hot surface. Also had a specialty burrito and the rice was hard. I felt like we wasted our money and was very disappointed in the quality of the food. I dont plan on returning.
I live in Denison and just got home. Had a long day at work so I was ready to eat dinner. I decided to come here because I love their chicken quesadillas with firehouse salsa and their cheesecake chimis are pretty good. I've been going here a lot over the past few years but this particular visit was highly unsatisfactory. For starters the manager was rude and there was a mistake from the get go. He corrected it with slight attitude. I took a bite out of my quesadilla and noticed the tortilla wasn't even cooked. It's cold and doughy. I checked out the cheesecake chimis. They were burnt and also lacked the powdered sugar. I then proceeded to call the store to speak to the manager but the phone just rang and rang with no answer. That alone is unacceptable. I was a General Manager for a couple restaurants so I know how the service should be and the quality of food. They are rarely busy when I go so why the manager couldn't answer the phone is beyond me. Overall very unhappy with this visit. Will see if this gets resolved and from there I'll decide if I want to return or not.
Employee never welcomed any customer or thanked them, rude not a smile nothing, this is why I don't eat it
Parking lot is horrible. One tamale in a tamale meal? And it came from a can? Rough.
Got 3 beef burritos for $4.99 and all I got was cheese and beans. No beef at all of them. Only thing they got right was the tacos on their value menu. So I just basically paid $15 for bean burritos horrible.
Food was good. Inside smells like raw sewage. Women's restroom smelled worse and needs to be scrubbed from ceiling to floor with degreaser and bleach. It looked as if someone had thrown up and defecated on the toilet seat, then wiped part of it onto the floor, leaving the rest on the seat. The door is greasy and black in areas. An employee was eating behind the counter, taking and filling orders. Flies, dead and alive, we're on tables, and in windows. Employee couldn't understand we wanted only a bowl of beans for a child. The tea was strong and sweet.
I have been here many times, unfortunately it’s the only taco bueno in the area. The beans always have hard, dried beans mixed in. They miss your order, and have had at least 2 occasions like tonight when the fryer was broke,AND they didn’t even have enough beans to make 2 burritos, 2!!!!!! This place is awful and they need to shut it DOWN!
After sitting in the drive-thru for several minutes, unable to place an order, my boyfriend and I pulled up to the window to find out what the issue was. We sat at the window for another 30 seconds or so before a gentleman came to the window and asked what we ordered. I told him that we couldn't get anyone to take our order, so he walked up front and yelled at someone. A guy (who looked like he had just woken up) came to the window, took our order and money, but failed to give us the change. After going through so much trouble for a couple of cheesecake chimis, I had really hoped they were as good as I had anticipated. I took a bite and the cheesecake chimi was still frozen in the middle! I will give them this, they are consistent, horrible service and food.
The service is horrible today, there is one frustrated lady working both the drive thru and front counter both of which are backed up and two ladies preparing the food. The wait time to have my order taken was a bit frustrating as I was on my lunch break. It seems like this store keeps getting worse instead of better.
We ordered 3 taco salads with extra quacamoli, the lady said that they only had enough shells to make one taco salad. So I said ok give me the one taco salad and 2 nacho salads then I got 4 party tacos. Well we got to the window and there were 3 nacho salads the man handed me out the window, he never told me that there wasn't a taco salad in there it was a surprise. I asked what happened to the taco salad and they said the shell broke on them... So I asked why didn't they tell me instead of taking it upon themselves to choose what I wanted to eat.. the lady came to the window and said that's what she figured we would want to do. We got a bunch of chips, a little lettuce, a little meat and that was about it.. it was awful, i will not be going back, Taco Bueno use to be Soo good but now it's like they don't even care anymore.
Ordered a burrito thru the drive thru. It came out with food and sauce on both sides of the wrapper, causing messy food to fall into my lap. No attention to the basics. I recommend that you avoid this mess. I will.
The food was HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! The place smelled bad. It could do with a good SCRUBBING. TACO BUENO just isn't what it once was. The food is very much too expensive these days for the food you get served. I'm sorry but I wouldn't go back.
Worst service in town. Been here and given them multiple tries. Order in the drive threw and you'll sit there for 15 minutes. Everyone I've seen is worthless with any sense urgency. Totally ridiculous. My last visit the key was picking threw her nappy hair and then touched my food. Hell no then threw a fit when i brought it up. They need to fire everyone out just close their doors.
$12 for 3 super small extremely distasteful tacos! I can't believe how bad the quality was for what I payed.. And the place itself, very unclean and sticky everywhere you stepped and touched.. There person handling the food touched many of the gross surfaces and then handled the food without changing gloves.
Flat drinks, no AC, beans were runny like water!!!! Pathetic! Store 3630!! Where is your GM? No excuse whatsoever! Been bueno customer for 30 Years….. the worst ever Sad sad day for Tex mex
I have always loved your Muchacos but, the Taco Bueno in Sherman, TX is terrible!! The muchaco bread is NOT cooked enough, the chips taste burned and the queso is too thin!! As well as the food being terrible, the service is horrible. I always have to ask for salsa and straws for my drinks and napkins!! Something needs to be done!!
If I could give 0 stars I would. They got our order wrong and then said they would fix it but never did. And the food was cold. WE WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.
We used to love Taco Bueno in Sherman but the food the past couple times was lacking so we stopped going. Tonight we decided to give it another try but received horrible service at the drive through rushing us through our order just to get it all wrong. We should've checked our bag but just wanted to get out of the drive thru because of how bad the service was.
1:56 pm on a Friday, nobody in the drive-thru lane, but no service at all. Nobody at the speaker, Taco Bell is right down the street though.
It pains me to leave Bueno a one star review because I've been a Bueno Head since I was a kid. But this location is awful. I've given it multiple shots and I am let down every time. I will not return to this location. I usually order mucho nachos and every other location loads them up with beans and beef. This one though, leaves half the chips bare. The food doesn't taste fresh. My fiance ordered a combo burrito and it didn't have any beef in it and his soft tacos were not even edible. The drive thru is slow as Christmas, even when you're the only person in line, which would be acceptable if the food didn't taste like it had been sitting out for hours.
When me and my family walked in, it was only three people working and they did not greet us when we went in. I ordered the steak nachos with specific ingredients and she ignored everything that I asked to come on it. I had five pieces of meat in my nachos with a squirt of sour cream. The jalapeños tasted like fish soap. The people there weren’t friendly at all.
Walked in to pick up Uber order and it was not ready and also had to substitute a drink for my customer. The entire place was disgusting and looked like it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in quite some time. Men's restroom was disgusting and also hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in a long time.
Been coming here for years, have been into food for years, had my own full time business involving food, and still do catering. Tonight I ordered a "whollatta box" for an easy family deal on a Thursday night. At approximately 7:20pm on June 8th, 2023, one of the line cooks was helping prep my order. To be specific he was a young, Hispanic guy, and on his right wrist he had a bracelet with little silver beads on it. He did have plastic gloves on, then pushed the stuff in the trash can down that is directly behind the drive thru window to make more room in the trash. Then proceeds to, with the same gloves on, help finish prep/box the food. Looked right at me after he did it, and I guess it just didn't register. Cameras inside can easily see this happen. You don't cram your hand into a trash can, push the trash down, and then continue to handle food. Trash the gloves, thoroughly wash your hands, new gloves, then prep. Basic knowledge food prep.
Online menu looks amazing and so delicious, but I don’t even know what is sitting here on my plate in front of me. I order the #8 and all of my chips are soggy, they are just sitting in a brown cheesy looking liquid and the lettuce is turning brown. I got it at 2 and you can tell it was probably made at 12 for the lunch rush. I asked for guacamole twice and never got any. Very very disappointed. First and last time I’ll ever try a taco Bueno.
Poor service. I was really irritated with the drive thru lady then on top of they just throw my order and all in one bag when it suppose to come in a box. If they did not have a box at least they could have told me. The tacos where barley cover. The beans, rice, salsa was just toss on top of my tacos.. I would never go back.. Need new employees cause the ones you got suck..
I work a well 10 minutes away from taco bueno and get a 30 minute break. I drove and got 2 burritos and tacos and asked for a lot of salsa. I got no salsa or receipt and drove all the way back to work only having 10 minutes to spare to eat. I drove back and had to wait another 10 minutes to get helped and was given cash instead of being payed back my money through card like I payed and they took all the food back. So I legit wasted gas went to and from then to and from with no food and a way longer break time then usually. So thank you taco bueno for absolutely wasting my time.
Horrible experience. All i ordered was a bean burrito and a taco. The guy took the order went sat down then went out back to smoke with the other employees. Left one guy that was on the fryer who didnt know about the order we waited for about 10 min for my food. All for it not to taste good either.
Went through the drive thru and ordered, very long wait, 2 cars ahead of me. The rice was cold and hard...tasted very old. The chimicanga was greasy and did not come with the cheese sauce on the menu. The corn chips were absolutely stale, old, greasy...disgusting ...threw most of the order in the trash. Very disappointed I wasted my money. Would have went back for a refund but my husband's in the hospital with a closed cafeteria so I was in a hurry to get back to him. On top of that stress, it would have been nice to have a fresh meal. Won't be back Taco Bueno!
We ordered the platters and they messed up our order but we were hungry and ate our food. I wish we hadn't--we had severe cramps and liquid poop throughout the night. Never again, Taco No Bueno, never again!
This taco bueno seems to barely put anything on bean burritos also, the next time we came they had burnt beans on the bean burritos. When we asked to have them replaced, the manager who was working the line and not wearing a hair net started off and filled 4 more orders before he had another employee make us new burritos. Very unprofessional, you can see the beans you are adding tontortillas
Went through the drive through ordered a taco platter the KIDS working there screwed up my order (put beans in my taco) etc. I called to talk to manager the KIDS that answered phone lied and told me he was the manager then just made excuses for the crappy order. NEVER going back
Whoever is working the window at 9pm Friday. The second I said 3 muchachos he said next. Didn't even ask what kind. So I tell him I want no meat just extra beans extra cheese. I told him 3 time plz no meat. I get home 30 miles away. Guess what I get. 3 beef muchachos. If it was closing just stop taking orders. Food is to expensive to not care how it's made. No I won't bring them in tomorrow I don't do that. But just know I spent money I didn't have to go home and eat bread.
Absolutely disgusting restaurant, bathrooms were so nasty and smelled horrible, the little food bar with salsa was old and smelled. Ordered a combo #7 and my burrito and soft taco tasted like they cooked the meat days again , if you order a combo you still get charged for a soft drink. Taco bell is 5 stars compared to this place and I went on 04/07/2024
Not sure what was colder my tacos or my drink. I think the wrapper the taco came in would have had more flavor. If you want Mexican food keep on trucking to the next spot.
Food was awful. Ordered Mexi Dips & Chips. You can't imagine how stale the chips were! Not just a little. And so salty they were inedible. Took the whole order right back and told the girl. She said this, "Do you want a refund or another order?" with an annoyed look. I said refund. She did the refund and gave me my receipt. Not a single word of apology or anything. She could not have cared less.
Tortilla were chewy not done on the warmer long enough. Meat burrito supposed to be 8 oz. Was 4oz. No english at all. No napkins at all. Asked for napkins but no english.
If you order mexi dips and chips you get bits and pieces of chips and crumbs without any whole chips. I order a side of chips every time and they are broken too. WHY????? It’s just ridiculous!!! No quality. Dealt with this for a year. Today was the last time. When I was inside last time and asked for better chips, an employee asked her manager and I was told I had to wait. So rude and unprofessional. For gods sake, it’s just CHIPS!
This place has gone way downhill. Extremely skimpy on everything. Also got home to find out they left out the 10 dollars worth of queso I paid for. Chips were there. Zero queso.
Do NOT waste your money. This is BY FAR the WORST Taco Bueno in Texas! Everything they serve is OLD, disgusting and looks like they stomped on it first. This has been going on for YEARS. Every time we give in and try it again (with several months between visits) we immediately regret it. NEVER AGAIN.
No receipt, didn't get all the taco's ordered, had to correct number of drinks, taco shells were stale, meat was thin and dry... Not going back.
Didn't have my order. Couldn't be bothered to get off cellphone. Order finally made... wrong. Then the girl put sauces in the bag without making sure the tops were on, and I get home to salsa dumped out in the bag all over everything. Used to be a decent place. So disappointed. Will not go back and will not recommend.
Simple order they couldn't get correct. I would suggest that someone who can understand English work the drive thru. Terrible service overall, I will not be back. Pathetic example of a beef BOB or whatever they call it now. Please avoid the sherman Taco Bueno. You will be disappointed. Added photos of a BOB, then removed the contents and placed on a standard tortilla.
