I always have a great experience here and we come here very often. The food is great and If there is ever an issue with our order the manager is very polite and quick to fix it. However, I just went into the store today to pick up our pizzas and there was a new boy working the register and he really got under my skin. I always order two of the garlic sauces they make themselves and the two prepackaged kind comes in the box that they ALWAYS replace with the ones we like for us. The guy in there proceeded to argue with me that they will not do that rather than just fix my issue. It was rude and horrible customer service. Like I said, not usual though.

Update: Very Good this time. Hopefully they keep this standard at all times. Normally amazing pizza. Flavorful, good amount of toppings, and garlic butter is perfection. Would be 5 stars but my last order seemed lacking. If my current order at the usual high standard, I'll raise back to 5. Love the service though. Manager always tries to make sure customers are satisfied and will make necessary staff adjustments if needed.

Great pizza! But for what you get, it is a little pricey. Not nearly the toppings and done in the past. Yet still very good. Time was a little off. Not enough employees to handle the volume of orders. And the quality of service is not that good. Don't ask the store for help within the website. They get somewhat testy with you on the phone.

We have switched from Dominos to Papa Johns. Even though the pizzas don't arrive as warm as Dominos does, we love everything about the change, except one thing. My family owned 9 pizza parlors in the DFW area. And, a pet peeve is getting pizzas delivered that the slices are not cut through. We know you have commercial quality pizza cutters. Teach your employees to cut the pizzas. They are arriving to us with the slices essentially seeming like a 3 year old toddler tried to cut them. I can handle that they don't get the cuts even close to even (one slice twice as large as another). But, PLEASE cut them. I should not have to slice my pizzas after they are delivered. If I have to do that, I will just start ordering them uncut. I know it is minor in most people's peeves. But, other than that, we LOVE the change we made to your business. The pizzas are always cooked and prepared exactly as we request. They are delicious. I will add a star back if y'all can fix this.

Very busy location. Just visiting in the area so I walked there to order. Never once did any body greet me after walking in. Finally after 5 minutes, I went back outside and ordered my pizzas on line. I walked back in and again no greeting. Once my pizzas were done they were given to me right away. The order was correct and I was thanked as I left. I suggest that the employees not forget, walk-ins still happen and greeting everyone who comes through their doors is important customer service.

Pizza is decent, but the parking lot is the worst. You either get stopped and blocked in by Starbucks customers in their drive-through, or there’s too much traffic to back out if you park over by the liquor store. I called the store and asked if I had to come in or if they brought it to me, and they said oh no you can come in. Different location or different way to actually get your pizza and get out of there would be a lot more convenient. There was a new guy at the register, he was friendly, but the manager standing beside him training him had his mask pulled to his chin. Everyone else that I could see had their mask on.

Each pepperoni piece had only 2 or 2 1/2 pepperonis on it. The sauce tasted like tomato sauce from the can 🤮. The works side was much smaller than the pepperoni side…it looks like a Bidenomics special!!

Got my online delivery wrong. I wanted extra sauce. Nope. Got extra Cheese. Wanted it well done. Nope. Asked for 2 2-liter pepsis. The delivered 1. Papa john used to be my pizza. Not anymore. Puzza didnt even taste good.

Wish I could leave 0 stars. Leave it to Sherman Texas Papa Johns to mess up not 1, not 2, but 3 pizzas for one order. Yup. Me and my wife ordered 2 pizzas. Not hard. One was a 3 topping. The other was half pepperoni and bacon the other half Canadian bacon and pineapple. Mine, the 3 topping was a quarter bubbled up. So practically nothing. We all know those annoying bubbles can happen. But as a guy who’s worked for a wood fired pizza kitchen. Do your job and you minimize that. But to decide to push that product out was a bad call. But I let that one slide. My wife’s was the bad one. They forgot the half pepperoni and decided to try to just put some on top and try to toast the cheese. (Hint papa John’s. Bad call #2. People rather wait a bit longer and it be right!) not to mention it wasn’t even cut. I’m easy going but you don’t mess with my wife’s food. So I call. They are apologetic. And offer to remake hers. Wrong again! Left off the bacon. I’m paying 15-20 for a pizza and you’re either too stupid or high to get it right? McDonald’s employees work under more stress and fast paced conditions and they don’t mess up on this level. Hell I think Taco Bell’s Mexican Pizza would be better than whatever Papa Johns is pushing out now. Definitely look elsewhere if you want pizza. Shame to waste almost $40. But rather eat my money than this mess at this point.

I place my order online at 1030 pm on a Saturday April 16th It took me 3 attempts to place the same order because the online system was having issues: then once I actually get it placed , I get a call from a rude lady saying she is the manager . She rudely tells me that she can’t make the pizzas and asked if I wanted my money back. First off why can she not make my pizza? She just kept telling me because she was closing early . She told me that 3 times before I told her I didn’t understand because online it shows the store not to close until later. She then finally proceeded to tell me I can come and get because they don’t have drivers. So I asked her which is it, is she closing early or she don’t have drivers?? She sounded flabbergasted and very insecure on how to answer. Secondly OF COURSE I want my money back on my card and my rewards I used put back on my papa johns account. She sounded so surprised by that also but assured me it would happen. This is not the first issue I have had lately with this brand at this location, seems like it has really gone down hill lately. I debated on leaving this review, and truly wanted to leave at least 2 stArs but the “mangers” tone just set it off for me.

Do NOT order pizza for delivery, you will never get it. The "Manager" doesn't really care. 30 minutes after it said my pizza was ready, I called and it was not even out for delivery. I get short staffed, but that doesn't help customer's experience when they wait and hour and a half and never get their pizza.

I just ordered a pizza with Italian sausage from Papa. John's here in Sherman, Texas. The print the pizza practically did not have any mariner sauce. It may as well have been a cheese Pizzza pie. very disappointed,And will probably not ever go there again. And the crust was soggy.. They need to stop being so stingy with the marinera sauce..

Normally I love Papa Johns, I order from there on a regular basis. On 06 Dec 22 , I ordered my usual Papa Bowl which is my favorite thing to eat now or was... Normally it comes with a good amount of ingredients enough so that when I'm done eating it I know I was fed. A cheesy , meaty master piece was not what got delivered to me . I was very disappointed. Who ever made it should not be allowed to do so again with out some kind of training... It was a little after 1500 when I ordered . I would like to know who made it so I can ask form some one else next time. Pitiful smh

Once my pizza was on it's way it was over an hour before it got here. I did NOT get the extra sauces I paid for. HEART shaped pizza was cold, hard, dry and uncut. Bread sticks were cold and dry. Tried and tried to call Sherman Pappa John's and the phone was off the hook. I haven't ordered in a while and it looks like I won't be anymore.
