Excellent Italian restaurant. Friendly welcoming atmosphere. Food is absolutely delicious made from fresh ingredients. Classic Italian food at its absolute best.

This place was great. I had a lovely evening with a friend from work as we were trying to figure out ways we could improve our own restaurant. The service, food and atmosphere was so good. Definitely helped us.

Small difficulties to find main entrance, locate on a side of building. Food was delightful & cocktails were excellent. Happy to recommend.

Just been to the restaurant for my wife's birthday we had an excellent meal for all the family. The food was excellent and the service was amazing, price wise very good value and cannot fault the staff will definitely return again.

Had our Christmas firms meal here, absolutely perfect. Food was fantastic, service brilliant always smiling and helpful, great night was had by all. The staff had to deal with our party of 40 which they did we ease, you always get one moaner at these partys bit can honestly say not one moan was said. Only downside was parking and not knowing the area and dark I got a bit frustrated but being a Christmas Friday night I excepted it was going to be busy. Well done Regginas for a great evening....🫡

Really tasty pasta dishes. We didn't order pizza but they looked good as they went past to other tables. This place was busy on a Monday night in January. Good to see. Would definitely return!

Visited on a Saturday evening. First visit here but won't be the last. Service was friendly yet not overbearing, food was excellent with portion sizes larger than expected. Overall a fantastic restaurant and will be sure to return in the future.

Here's an honest review. Was a bit worried about eating here on what was our 30th wedding anniversary having seen some of the bad reviews and also from previous experience (many, many moons ago though) but thought we would give it a whirl. It didn't start too well as we waited at the door for ages, even though I went into the restaurant to see if anyone was there. So I called them on the telephone and told them we were at the door waiting! Anyway that is the only bad thing. We were served for the most part by Mia who was excellent and veryt pleasant. It was busy for a Tuedsay but the restaurant had a nice vibe and the aroma was wonderful. Starters were really good, generous portions (I had the charcuterie). For main I had one of the best pasta dishes I have ever eaten. I was pleased that they didn't mind me asking if the food of the devil (salmon) could be removed from the Linguine Marinara and maybe some chilli added in. It was simply fabulous. My wife agreed, clean plates all round. We shared a yummy dessert too and a really nice Chilean Red. Including the tip it was £120 which I thought wasn't to bad at all. Well done to Mia and chums, lovely evening thank you very much.

Thank you so much to Regginas restaurant Botley for an amazing 60th wedding anniversary celebration. My husband myself an 10 members of our family had a wonderful day on Saturday 9th August. Every one of the party enjoyed superb food! I'm so sorry that l cannot remember the delightful young lady who was our waitress for the afternoon. She was so kind, nothing was too much trouble. She looked after us all with a smile for the whole afternoon. Thank you once again.

Absolutely delicious food and drinks. Spoilt for choice on both the food and drinks menu. Each course got better and better, with generous portion sizes and beautiful presentation. We couldn't fault it! Friendly service and lovely atmosphere. We were given plenty of time between each course and made aware of specials. We will definitely be back and we throughly recommend dining here. Maybe a little pricey, but worth every penny, especially for a treat or special occasion.

Myself and 3 friends had to find a place to eat last minute on Saturday night as the one we had booked was highly disappointing and Regina's saved our day. Even though we had no reservation, we were offered a table in around 15 minutes waiting in the lovely bar upstairs, which gave us some time to relax with aperitif and to order our meals. The food was excellent and service very efficient and friendly. I definitely recommend and will be coming back.

This was a special visit with family to celebrate our Golden Wedding anniversary. Good table; good service and we all agreed our choices of food was excellent. We had a great evening. Big negative: we were advised as we sat down that we would have to vacate our table at 8pm having arrived at 6pm. This was confirmed at 8pm when we were politely advised the table was booked after that. This was really disappointing as we had advised in our booking that this was a special occasion, and at no time in the booking process were we advised that the booking was from 6pm until 8pm.

Had a lovely lunch (Monday lunchtime) with friends to celebrate a birthday. Only two other diners eating, so it was like a private dining experience. Waiter was very attentive, but not annoyingly so. Gave us enough time to eat and chat, without long waits or rushing us out! Food was lovely too. Friends that had pasta were full, but managed deserts. Friend whose birthday it was had her desert arrive with a candle in it. Nice touch and unexpected!!!

Good all round food, with friendly and attentive staff. Portion sizes for the mains (lobster tagliatelle and pork belly) and desserts (tiramisu and almond and raspberry tart) were good, though the starters (hallomi wrapped in parma ham and two slices of pork belly with blood pudding crumbs) were a little disappointing for their price of £10.95, when some mains were only a few pounds extra. In addition, as a minor niggle the two starters were ordered off the specials, which were listed to us without a price, so we were a little blindsided by their cost (though we could have asked so an equal oversight on our part). That said, an overall pleasant dinner out with tasty food, so we would visit again.

Expensive wines and drinks. I preselected 2 bottles of wines from their website however on arrival I was informed that they no longer sold the chosen wines.

Order pasta dishes and selection of garlic breads for a party of 8 as a takeaway, wasn't disappointed at all, amazing quality and ready when the staff advised it would be, got to be one of the best takeaway we have had and great value. Highly recommend Regginas

We visited yesterday lunch time as a group of seven,on what would be called a bit of a dead period, between christmas and new year. Food was fine, not much atmosphere tbh. The waiter was functional. So basically it's a decent place, but we picked the wrong time to visit.

Food lovely but overpriced for portion size. Staff were very curt and not very friendly. A nice meal but won't rush back which is a shame.

I feel the place is going slow. I've been to some other Italian restaurants but serving dishes is much slower than other places according to my experience. Pizzas were fine. Not sure that the pastas making you full. They were able to serve only 3 types of dessert I don't like those. Webpage is telling you 10% service charge which they really do. Toilets are nice but very cold. The space/room in the restaurant is a bit tight. Wish we could get our table upstairs where less people are.

Booked to celebrate sons graduation. Food was very nice but found waiter very offish, but not to regulars!! Thankfully waitresses were lovely.

Family birthday. Expensive so only for a special occasion. Food was ok but nothing particularly special. Probably would not visit again. Also we were seated upstairs which was not really suitable and the music was insufferable, too loud and annoying.

Very little parking, horrible location. Restaurant is small and tight, food is nothing special and portions are small for what you're paying. The salad was soggy and I doubt it was fresh, no salad dressing. I've been to better Italian restaurants and ordered similar things. Very dissapointed, May have been on a very busy day I don't know. Maybe better for a romantic dinner on a quite day for people that enjoy tasteless pub food. I love Mediterranean food but this clearly isn't.

I placed a takeway order for a Vesuivo pizza, Romana pizza without the chorizo and garlic pizza bread. Unfortunately none of it was up to the normal standard I've had in the restaurant. The garlic bread was completely inedible, it seems like this was made from a 'ready made' bread base and once heated as you get with the ones from the supermarket the top 'skin' flakes up in an oven. The bread itself was tough. The Vesulivo pizza had some chorizo in it and there was the typically red oily fat you get from it on the edges. Although we weren't able to find any real chunks of chorizo, you could taste it in the pizza, I'm not sure if this was picked off after cooking or it just had a little chorizo added mistakenly. Both pizza bases were poor, they were what I could only describe as tasteless and bleach white. I flagged this directly via their contact email however didn't get any response. Staff were very friendly + helpful when I collected so at least there is a positive :).

We booked for valentines dinner but we were very disappointed with the the way we were told on arrival that we only hade the table for two hours which was fine but as soon as we were seated the pressure started on us to hurry our meal as the staff kept on pestering us to order the next course we said we wanted to slow down but was told that they need to have the table for the next customers we at this time had only been sat for an hour very bad

Right. Our first and last visit to this place. Upon arriving we was offered our table. It was a couple evening meal. We asked politely to change table to be next to a window. We was refused as they said NO as other customers was due and they were regulars there. IS OUR MONEY NOT THE SAME… would have rather been told that it was reserved. Also we may of turned out one day to be regulars ourselves. Oh well. Then the waiter gave the mrs a dirty look and raised eyes when she politely asked for no sauce on her order. Ran into the kitchen and shouted there must be garlic oil to give it some taste. Another couple sat next to us and was given the option of specials. We was never informed. Food came and it was tasteless and pizza burnt. Mrs turned her pizza upside down to show them and we told them not happy. Waitress returned with bill. No apology.

Shocking experience! Terrible customer service and extremely rude manageress! booked for 9 people and 2 toddlers so a table for 11, if 10 people ordering a pre order is needed, I explained only 9 people eating so do I need to pre order? I was told no. this was agreed when booking, so far so good. Received a call 2 weeks later from the manageress demanding that we give them a pre order, I explained we didn’t need to and was told this at time of booking (would not have booked if we had to pre order) but she demanded we did, I said what if I can’t and she replied nonchalantly with ‘just cancel the booking then’. We finally agreed for my family to arrive earlier to help the kitchen. 2 days later I became very sick and thought it best to cancel rather than bring my germs into a very small enclosed space, my partner phoned up and asked to cancel and requested our deposit back, we were told this was fine. The next day I get a call from the manageress saying I’m not getting my money back as it’s Christmas? Sorry but what does its Christmas have to do with a refund? If anything it’s an extremely busy time and easy to fill the table that me and my family no longer are using. There is no sign anywhere on the website about their refund policy and I was not told it was non refundable at the time of booking, again I would not have booked had I known this! Lovely food but shocking customer service, approach with caution when booking as it seems every member of staff there is on a different page!

Were made to wait for an hour and 15 minutes for our mains "because we got a starter" which was only garlic bread, was finished in 5 minutes so not a valid excuse. When the roast arrived, it was cold. We were offered a free drink to apologise but when the bill arrived, they stuck a massive service charge on. When this was challenged, they told us they gave us free drinks so we had to pay it! First time here and safe to say, definitely the last time too.

My wife and I booked the 2 person window seat for 6pm for my birthday treat. We arrived 5 mins early to find our table taken by another couple. At the door we were not greeted and asked if we had booked a table, a waitress just pointed at a table next to the table we wanted! There were 3 waitresses and they each took turns to ask if we wanted a drink! I'm nearly 70 and every restaurant I have ever been to a waiter or waitress is given certain tables that they are in charge of not just on an ad-hoc basis. Whilst we ordered our food I asked a couple of questions and the waitress just nodded or shook her head but said nothing not even about the specials, I know they were written on a board but you could not read them without getting up and walking over to the board as the writing was far too small. 3 other people then turned up and sat to our right. The couple on our left got their food so we thought we would be next. After about 20 mins the couple behind got their meat and had to wait nearly 10 mins before they got their vegetables! Whilst we were still waiting the 3 people on our right ordered and got their starters, they were not even in the restaurant when we had ordered! Then the couple on our left got their desserts and we still waited. At 7pm we asked one of the waitresses how much longer would our food be and she replied not long but she did not go into the kitchen to actually find out, therefore we got up and left the restaurant. This restaurant states that there will be 10% added to the bill for a service tip! Maybe if they gave a service this tip could be justified but on this showing not a chance. I had to give 1 star for this review but really it should be 0 stars. VERY DISAPPOINTING and we will not be back.
