Hands down one of my favorite spots on Staten Island right now! El Pollo has such an incredible atmosphere—lively, colorful, welcoming, and feels like a little escape with the bar area, music, and friendly energy. The recent remodel really elevated the place; it's perfect for a casual dinner, drinks with friends, or even a fun night out.

The Spanish foods always so fresh & very delicious 😋 I highly recommend trying if you've never been always a crowd favorite chicken stew with rice & beans, the pernil is to die for!!. The place has cozy vibe the staff are definitely all diverse so thats how I love my Spanish food haha anyways everything is so tasty and friendly staff... you can smell the food from a block or two away!!

This is my favorite Spanish restaurant everything here is amazing and the quality staff is absolute. The food is authentic Spanish Caribbean food. Most of the items on the menu correlate to the flavorful Spanish cuisine in Puerto Rico. I recommend this restaurant 100%.

I was new. They were looking at me because I'm a new face. They didn't explain how it works. I ended up getting so much. But they weren't bad. The dining place is spacious, but lighting is not bright enough for a restaurant.

Dinner at El Pollo II, never disappoints. The beef stew with white rice was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The pernil (roast pork) with white rice was also a hit, as were the cheese empanadas. The food tasted like a delicious home-cooked meal. The portions are generous, with leftovers for lunch the next day. This is a place to revisit for authentic and affordable Spanish food.

Seeing the world In a different way

There are some places that may not look super impressive from the exterior or even in the interior. However that should not over shadow a great restaurant where many local people visit (all the time) to have their favourite Spanish style food. I really enjoyed eating El Pollo’s Spanish home cooking. It is so comforting to eat good quality familiar food. The prices are excellent, staff are friendly and the restaurant is clean. I highly recommend you going here, especially if your staying at nearby hotels. I don’t need to make any recommendations to those people who live in this area, they already know this place and go here frequently.
