I charge my car in the parking lot and the restaurant is a place to chill. I love their salads. Also, the breakfast is not bad. You can request how you want your egg, not the typical crappy eggs at a hotel.

Amazing meal. Best Italian food I ever had. Incredible fresh giant scallops and shrimp in the Pappardelle. Sauce with garlic and basil out of this world. Impecable service. Local patrons talk loud but are very cool and have interesting stories. Classic smoothing 80s and 70s music on the stereo to entertain. A great New York City expierience.

Our visit to Lorenzos was a very nice treat. Upon our arrival, we were greeted and seated by the owners Lois & Richard Nicotra. They truly added to our overall experience. Their personal attention and concern for our evening were truly amazing. To make the evening even better was the ambiance of the restaurant. There was a pianist who was playing some classics and making it look easy. On top of that, the staff was personable and attentive to all of our needs. Finally, the food.... the menu had a nice variety for all those in our party. All the dishes and appetizers that were ordered did NOT disappoint. All had rave reviews about our experience at the end of the night. We will definitely be coming back and wanted others to know about our experience. Overall, I would highly recommend Lorenzo's on all levels.

We went here with another family. It was a Wednesday night. It was very quiet there but wait staff was very attentive and food was delicious. We had a variety of apps, all were very good. Everyone at the table enjoyed their dinner, no complaints. We all left there talking about how good the food was.

Enjoyed lunch here today with a group of twenty. The decor and atmosphere are lovely. All the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. The food was delicious and the service was courteous and efficient. Twenty ladies out for the afternoon can be a handful, and the wait staff never stopped smiling. We all had the three course, fixed price lunch special, which is a great value. We loved it and will most certainly do it again. Highly recommended.

I was an attendee at the restaurant last night with a group of 14 people. The service and food were good, however, the show we were there to see was a huge disappointment. We purchased tickets to see Ray Monte's tribute to his dad, Lou Monte. The show was marketed as a tribute to Lou Monte and that his son would be singing his songs. That was why we spent $250 on the tickets; TO HEAR RAY SING HIS DAD'S SONGS!!. Ray sang about 3 of Lou Monte's songs. That was it. Lou Monte had much more than 3 songs. The rest of the show he sang songs of other singers and one of his band members sang 2 songs also. That is not what we paid for nor expected. We should have asked for a refund. At the end of the show I overheard many patrons saying how disappointed they were as well. Ray was not in tune with his audience nor very personable. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.

We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at Lorenzo"s breakfast buffet. Freshly made eggs & omelets to order, with sausage, bacon, and potatoes that you can add to your plate. Nice choice of bread, bagels, and muffins which you can toast up. Buffet includes juice & hot beverage too. Fresh fruit & yogurt are also available. You can't go wrong with breakfast at Lorenzo's. Great way to start your day!

We ordered the French onion soup and Maryland crab cakes. The soup was more like a stew. It was very thick and had the consistency of gravy. They used croutons instead of bread, which probably soaked up the liquid. The crab cake was definitely not a Maryland crab cake. It had thick breading on the outside and no discernible crab meat. There was no old bay. Honestly it looked and tasted like the frozen ones you get from Aldi.

Decent food, nice piano music, but the atmosphere of a diner :( Visited Lorenzo's with my wife on 02/16/24 for a romantic dinner with live piano music. Unfortunately, the visit turned out to be a great disappointment :( It's very sad as we planned this for a while and the place indeed had all the potential to live to the expectations. But it didn't :( The food was decent; service was excellent and flawless; piano music was great, the guy played non-stop for 1.5h! However, there were two big tables which got occupied with large families shortly after we came. One was just next us with about 8 people and the other was one table away with about 15 people including children and even babies. Very soon it became so noisy we could hardly hear the piano. All these people didn't care about the music at all being fully occupied with their family gatherings. And then a baby started crying... We felt like sitting in a busy diner rather than an upscale romantic place :( The setting, the piano, the waiters in suits, the prices were not in line with what was going on. It was weird. The food was pretty good but falling short of 5 stars on all dishes except soup. Appetizers Bread basket with butter, olive oil, and ricotta - this one was on the house and it was excellent. Fresh, warm, perfect. Roasted Peppers with Fresh Mozzarella - this was a special of the day. The peppers tasted fine, but were most likely from a can, not freshly roasted. Mozzarella slices were quite tasteless with no dressing on top. We had to add salt on them the get some taste. Rooftop Kale Salad - this was fine, but could benefit from a bit more goat cheese and walnuts. It was mostly kale... Mushroom Soup - this was a special of the day. The soup was absolutely delicious! One of the best mushroom soups I ever had in a restaurant. This was the only flawless dish of the evening. Mains Slow Simmered Beef Short Rib - the portion was good size, with nice presentation, sauce, and garnishes. The meat however was quite dry, certainly not melting in the mouth as the rightly cooked short ribs should be. On one side the meat was actually burned! :( I could request a replacement, but really didn't want to go into this and wait while my wife was eating. The salt level was on a higher side - ok, but on a border line. Basil Pesto Crusted Salmon - it was pretty good, though on dry side, not as juicy and tender as you would expect in such a place. Dessert Warm Apple Crumb - the tart with ice-cream was ok, nothing special. The white stuff they added around would be better off a whipped cream, but instead it tasted like a super sweet liquid marshmallow. We cannot recommend this restaurant. They need to figure out their identity.

Very disappointed in my dish. First, service was slow, seems like a staffing issue but when I was attended to, they were very pleasant. Food, not so good. I had the pan seared chicken breast and it was extremely dry, flavorless and small. I didn't really complain but when they asked how my meal was, I did say it was dry and they comped me the meal. Wasn't asked for but was the right thing to do. So, the atmosphere was nice, service was slow and food not so good for the dish I had. Can't say anything about their other dishes. Seems like the crowed like it? Anyhow, that's the review. M

Took my wife here tonight because I’ve heard nothing but great things about this place. The scenery is beautiful, the live music was calming, the atmosphere was great, the food was delicious, the service NEEDS TO GET IT TOGETHER! We had 5 different staff members come up to us and ask us what we would like to drink. We waited 40 minutes for our entrees, we were turned off to getting dessert because of how long it took to get our food.

We went to Lorenzo to celebrate our anniversary. Although the ambiance is pretty, spacious and elegant, unfortunately the food quality isn't. The French onion soup was so thick that it tasted as if we were drinking gravy instead of soup. The clam appetizer tasted very wine-heavy, as if the alcohol wasn't cooked thoroughly through, resulting in a bitter and unsavory taste. The pappardelle was incredibly bland and the sauce was mild in flavor. The pasta was a bit overly al dente, which detracted from the already negative experience. The ribeye had a nice crust, but the seasoning was once again lacking. The accompanied mushroom and onions had a sour taste to it, which made the entire dish less enjoyable. Overall we were unfortunately disappointed in our dining experience. Although the ambiance is nice and service is friendly, especially with Jakup who was funny, accommodating, and easy to talk to, there is so much room for improvement in regards to the quality of the food.
