My wife n kids took me here on Oct 31st for my birthday and it was awesome. The food and atmosphere was exceptional. The staff was incredibly friendly which made the experience even better. Definitely going back.

We visited here on a Monday during happy hour, and sat on their pretty patio. Our food was delicious, especially the fish (cod) taco and the charcuterie board. The drinks were lovely too! We enjoyed it so much that we plan on going back there to have dinner sometime soon. In the picture there's more olives and cheese hiding behind the bread! Next time I will ask for the bread to be not grilled (my own pref.)

I came into this place on a Friday night after a long, stressfull day of work. The overall experience of this place allowed me to wind down and leave in the right state of mind. The atmosphere of this place is definitely a strong attribute. The lighting is plentiful, yet dim, making it feel very elegant and soothing. The outdoor seating is even better. The beer that I ordered was very good as well. With that in mind, there's a pretty good variety of beer, wine and cocktails at this place. Overall, I would return for another visit if ever given the opportunity.

Good draft beers & craft cocktails! Food is delicious! Everyone with me enjoyed their food, including me. Parking is limited, they do offer valet for $8. Sometimes you can find meter parking, you might have to spin the block.

TL;DR: Lively after work bar with good drinks, solid food, and fast crowds. Go early if you want space. We came just before 6 and it was already filling up. Within minutes it shifted from relaxed to busy, which fits the vibe here. Friendly bartenders, quick service at the bar, and a crowd that likes a lively, social atmosphere. If you like energy, it delivers. Food is dependable for a bar menu. The fried chicken sliders have good crunch and the wings come out hot with a nice char. Drinks are good. Seating is first come first serve and the bench seating is not the most comfortable, but it works for a casual hang. Parking is the biggest drawback depending on time. Ventura is packed during peak hours and the small lot fills fast, so off hours are better. Pro Tips: • Arrive before 6 if you want a guaranteed seat. • Parking is rough. Plan to walk or rideshare. • Order at the bar and you can keep your tab open

This place has great food for lunch and a good happy hour margarita. Their chicken sliders and spinach dip are my personal favorites and they always come out fast. It is order at the bar service and can get really busy at times.

Cool spot with a good vibe, solid drinks, and better than average pub food. The challenge is the order at the bar experience. The line can get deep. My food came while I was standing in line. It was cold as a result. Since there is no wait staff, no one checks on you for issues, water, etc. Odd set up.

Great food and atmosphere here at Laurel Tavern. The outside patio is super comfy and enjoyable for drinking with friends. All of the food we ordered was delicious, especially the french dip. My only complaint was the ordering process. Everything had to be ordered at the bar which became a little frustrating waiting behind a bunch of people just ordering drinks. I think this spot would benefit from a "ordering from QR code and have food delivered to each table" situation. Overall great time here though. I'll come back more this summer to enjoy the patio.

Showed up at 4:30pm on a Saturday patio was sorta lively, bar was not that busy. Sat down at the bar and waited 15 min for a bartender to acknowledge my existence. When I told one of the bartenders I’ve been sitting down at the bar for 15 and nobody has said hi…her reply was..”there is a glare from the sun sometimes” 🤣 “cough …bullshit..cough”. Noticed they knew all the locals though. Overall not bad spot but the bartenders could definitely use some “human” contact training. Pay attention to all your customers LT Be better Laurel Tavern

Great for the Hollywood vibes and beer. But that's it. Came on a Sunday night on 5/2/21. There was mostly outdoor seating and some indoor. Was pretty crowded but got seated in 15 minutes. It's got a rustic, tavern vibe. Gas heaters placed near outdoor seating. You order inside at the bar. Prices were pretty expensive. Go for the beers as they are probably the most reasonably priced. The food was way too overpriced for how small the portions were. The food also didn't taste very good either. Old Fashion $14. Beer $9. Grilled cheese $12. Hickory burger $14.95.
