Their grilled fish is fantastic. It's one of my favorite Mexican restaurants and everything is delicious.
Was working in the area and was looking for a good place to eat. Ended up at this hole in the wall. Was greeted and brought a menu as I walked in. Didn’t know what to get but was given a few recommendations. I ended up getting their Santa Fe steak burrito. That burrito was Really good! The pico de Gallo and guacamole was fresh and the steak was well seasoned. Very happy with my purchase and if in the area, highly recommended.
I have been eating here for at least 10 years. The food has always been top quality. The customer service is amazing, they have a beautiful dining room with comfortable seating. Please bring your friends and family to enjoy a delicious meal at Tony's Mexican grill, the best Mexican food in the valley
We were there 10 minutes before closing time, they didn’t make us feel pressured to eat or to order, business as usual. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to grab a last minute Mexican Joint. All the waitresses were very kind and polite.
This place was so good. Fries, tortillas, 2 cheese enchilada and chile relleno combination plate are all delicious. 10/10 Even the fruit with crema 😍🥰❤️♥️
I ordered from here last night and my shrimp platter was great. My husband had a chicken tostada and said it was ok but he normally loves their food. He just wasn’t feeling that particular dish. My son had a burger and fries. I requested everything listed in the description be removed but it still had pickles, mayo, and special sauce. I wiped it off and he actually ate the entire burger (which he usually doesn’t do when there’s been something on it he doesn’t like). Despite that this was delicious and we’ll be ordering again.
Great food and great customer service. Even brought us a free little bowl of fruit with sweet cream for desert!
We've been ordering from here at least once a month for must be 20 years, first because it was a Mexican place that delivered (!), but then because we love the food. It's had its ups and downs over time, but that's normal. The menu has a lot more than just the standards. We've never regretted our patronage.
To be honest I didn't even wanted to go to this place but I did and I discover a very good descent place to eat the food is very good.
I'm here after Mitchell and Cam's (ok ok, Jesse and Eric) podcast..
Such a treat! We are on the road and my sis found Tony's with good ratings online. I peeked in and saw 2 tables overflowing with to go orders so I knew it must be good. We were not disappointed, I had 2 cheese enchiladas with onions & rice n beans.. my sis had a Carne aside taco.. YUM 😋 chips n salsa were good too. Server was very attentive. Highly recommend.
Their head chef, Urma made me some tri-tip burritos one day that were tender, flakey, and a spiritual experience in every bite. If you enjoy burritos, beans, rice, mole, quesadillas, and breakfast burritos, and the like, as I do, she is a Los Angeles staple in the community. All the catered events I've had the pleasure of tasting, along with her mothers burritos, which are so succulent and tender with unique vegetable and sauce combinations it's impossible to recreate. You have to try Tony's stop by today or call and have her cater your parties 🎉 excellent regional cuisine, well priced, and a classy experience every time.
Tony's Mexican Grill is a delightful discovery for lovers of Mexican cuisine. Walking into Tony's, you're immediately greeted by the warm, rustic decor and the irresistible aroma of authentic Mexican cooking. The menu offers a wonderful variety of dishes, each packed with vibrant flavors. The enchiladas were exceptional, smothered in a flavorful sauce and beautifully complemented by fresh guacamole and salsa. Don't miss out on their tacos - they are mouthwateringly good! The staff is welcoming, efficient, and genuinely invested in making your dining experience memorable. Tony's Mexican Grill is a must-visit for anyone seeking a tantalizing journey through Mexican culinary traditions.
What an amazing experience! 🩷 I loved this place! We went for lunch and they were beyond sweet with us! Great customer service, great food! Thank you thank you 🥰
First time here with friends. First customer service was outstanding, friendly and catered to my friends very picky request. Corn salad, chicken burrito, and asada burrito we all had, was delicious and ingredients you can tell were scratch made. If you're ever in the SF Valley, Tony's is a hidden gem.
been going here for over 20 years. Missing Tony mucho, but his daughter and family have added their own heart to the restaurant. the food is always fresh and tasty.
Tony's is my go-to Mexican restaurant. Not only is the food top-notch, but I feel like family when I eat there. Tony's offers a wide variety of Mexican foods but also a daily home-made soup special. Usually one variety. The cream soups are my favorites but the albongdigas soup is delightful. Also they offer a variety of daily special home-cooking plates. Try Tony's. You'll be happy you did.

My friend took me here and it is in a small strip mall joint....but damn the food was top notch! I ordered the "Tuesday Special" Carnita's Rice and Beans..so good!
Excelent food, warm stuff. Really liked it.
Humpday Special: the Wet Burrito for $10.95. 32oz horchata $3. Worth it!
Best Mexican food in the valley for over 30 years!

My favorite eggs and potatoes burrito and I usually add shrimps! Yummy
I have been eating here for about 10 years. Food is always very good. I like the Fiesta burrito, and my kid loves their soft beef tacos. There are lots of Mexican restaurants in the Valley, and having tried many of them, I am convinced that this is one of the better ones.
Really liked the burrito I ordered. I got the steak burrito, with black beans. The steak had flavor. The meat is grilled, which I like. Very flavorful and good tasting. Very nice service and a family place. I had a pleasant experience. And I will be coming up back when I'm in the area. Give it a try!
although i cannot comment on the atmosphere at tony’s, i’m disabled and a neighbor usually picks it up for me. their salmon is my absolute fav; prepared so perfectly - every single time !! he’s unable this evening so i called to ask about the delivery charge. you’ll never guess what the incredible josie told me; ⭐️⭐️THERE IS THERE NO DELIVERY FEE. JUST TIP THE DRIVER⭐️⭐️. REALLY 👆 with much gratitude to JOSIE🫶🏻🫶🏻 and the CHEFS and the brains behind them, TERRIFIC TONY👍👍
Paolo was friendly, introduced us to his father, who has been running the place for 26 years. The food was fabulous, portions generous, the conversation fun. We had a spinach and mushroom quesadilla and a potato, egg and cheese burrito. Chips were thin and crisp, the salsa (3) were delicious (or so my friend reports, salsas are too spicy for me as a rule). I also enjoyed a glass of jamaica, one of my all-time favorite beverages. At the end, they surprised us with a small bowl of fresh fruit with crema.
Signed here for the first time tonight and was pleasantly surprised. Didn't know what to expect from this tiny Mexican restaurant in a small strip mall. Service was prompt and the food was plentiful and extremely tasty. We will be back in the future.
Needed a quick bite to eat so I called in a shrimp burrito take out. Also got a medium jamaica. The burrito was a great size and the shrimp was so good. Definitely will order again when I’m in the area. Service was friendly too!
What a hidden gem! Everything was perfect. Its not fancy inside and that makes it even cooler. Highly recommend.

Very famous neighborhood spot for their Tortas. They are very good. I really enjoy beef mixed with chicken. All other items are usually pretty good too. 4 stars because Sometimes items are inconsistent and service behind the register could be friendlier.
Decent food … definitely authentic. Customer service was amazing.
Will order again!! Generous size of tacos and big burritos. Finally a place that sell you burrito big enough, lemon in the side, and some greens inside. Liked it's the burrito was big and full of meat. They also sent chips that I didn't order, that was nice. So why not 5 stars? The meat. I ordered the steak and it wasn't soft enough. Needed to chew it too many times in order to swallow. Overall pleased with deliver price and food and will order again. Next time will try the chicken.
All time favorite. Very inexpensive for the amount of food. Had the Fiesta Burrito this time around. And the tamarind is not so sweet. Love the free crema and fruit they give you at the end of your meal.

Is really badly the way they're changing, in the menu they have different prices than the amount they charge, plus now the add the driver top!! I have had ordered from Tony's since 2003 and completely understand that everything cost more , but please the prices need to be updated. The driver very bad attitude and the food isn't that good anymore.
I came here in 2004 and it was unbelievably delicious. Memorably delicious! But I came back in 2024 and it was average, at best. The food has gone downhill. The ladies that ran it were extremely nice though so maybe they were just having a bad day for food? I don’t want to hurt their business at all but I was very disappointed because it wasn’t even remotely as good as it was 20 years ago.

The server was extremely nice but that didn’t make up for the okay tasting food. I got “wet burrito” which was a regular burrito with bad tomato sauce on top. Not worth it. A bit expensive and they don’t accept Discover. They give some free fruit though.
I have been coming to Tony's for like 20 years and in those 20 years nothing has changed. The food tastes so bland now. I had chicken enchiladas and the green sauce had very little flavor. I had to add some red sauce in order to eat it. My husband had the wet burrito and it was just okay. The Tacos were dry. The black beans taste like they're out of a can. Honestly, they have a lot of clientele, they need to put more flavor and effort into their food. Give some spice and flare. I won't be going back for a while.
Having eaten a lot of Mexican food over the years, I think I have a taste of good vs mediocre vs bad Mexican food. In my opinion, the taste of my chicken burrito was "off". My friend ordered a bean and cheese burrito and for some reason, it too had chicken in it. He hated it and we both ended up discarding our food which was sad since it wasn't cheap. It's always a busy place so will chalk it up as a bad day for us. That being said, won't be going back but as I said, plenty of people must like it.
My first and mostly last time coming to this place. Ordered the chilaquiles and it was just one big soggy mess, good thing im not allergic to onions because when I asked the server what was in the chilaquiles, they failed to mention that there are onions in them, and the description on the menu has 0 description, they also mentioned that there was sour cream included which i saw 0 sour cream but instead was just given 2 extra cups of salsa, the dish just looked extremely depressing overall i do not recommend getting this dish if you decide to dine from here
Ordered from Uber eats worst food ever enchiladas are fake. They’re made with some kind of grilled chicken no green sauce dry taquitos have no flavor. Meat is undercooked sauce has no flavor !
Too bad their customer service isn't as good as their food. Been going here for 15 years and 9 out of 10 times have ordered the same thing. Suddenly today I was told by the woman in a patronizing voice, "out of the 10 years I've worked here, I've never heard of anyone ordering what you're asking". She has taken this same order from me twice since January. Like I made this up? In this day & age, a restaurant cannot afford to not easily accommodate their long-time customers. I encourage you to go to Sharky's Woodfire Mexican Grill, their staff and food are both healthy.
We have been ordering food every weekend from Tony’s for over a year now because it’s delicious. The delivery is wrong 50% of the time. Either they send the wrong thing or they forget something. To have it corrected is a nightmare as it can take about 45 minutes for redelivery. Also, how do you forget to put chips and salsa in the order? That’s like forgetting to put bread on the table at an Italian restaurant. Enough is enough and we are no longer bringing our business here.
Tony’s used to be okay. Just had a burrito with dried out chicken and zero flavor or seasoning. Won’t be back. Food is terrible anymore
Ordered red chilaquiles and gave me orange colored nacho chips all soggy, chilaquiles are crunchy at all. Sorry but chilaquiles are not it . Lol

Only customers that showed up for Xmas Eve morning breakfast but were treated like an inconvenience. They felt their to go orders were more important. Ordered food and they didn’t start the order until after 20 minutes of waiting and we finally complained so they started it. They were rude to us throughout. Probably won’t be going back.
Terrible burrito…. I order Santa Fe burrito meat was not tender felt I was eating cheap meat that is lowest quality. Owner in bad mood in the morning complaining about how i paid with a large bill. Won’t be coming back
I have been a loyal customer of Tony’s for over 14 years. In fact, when I first moved into the area, Tony’s was the very first meal I had in my new home. Over the years, I’ve ordered countless times for pickup and delivery and always believed I was supporting a local business that valued its customers. Unfortunately, after my most recent experience, I will never order from Tony’s again. Today, I decided to place an online order directly through their website—a first for me, since I usually use Uber Eats or DoorDash. I assumed ordering directly would help support the restaurant. Instead, it turned into the most appalling customer service interaction I’ve ever had. Thirty minutes after placing my order, I received a call from a woman at the restaurant who introduced herself as being “in charge.” Rather than apologizing for the inconvenience, she curtly informed me that they couldn’t fulfill my order because they “didn’t have a driver.” I was about to suggest just canceling the order when she launched into an unnecessarily rude lecture about how my order “didn’t meet their $20 minimum.” When I pointed out that my total was nearly $24, she snapped back that it had to be $20 in food and insisted that “all their customers know that.” I referenced the website, which clearly states a $15 minimum—not $20—and she continued to argue with me, dismissing me as if I didn’t know how to read. At that point, I asked her to cancel my order and refund me. Shockingly, she told me that wasn’t possible, because they “don’t have the money” and I would need to call the delivery company myself. She made it clear that this was “not her problem.” The tone was condescending, dismissive, and frankly insulting. After more than a decade of loyalty, this is how Tony’s treats its customers—like an inconvenience. It’s disheartening, because I go out of my way to support small, local businesses. But I won’t support one that treats people this way. I’ll be taking my business to places like La Fogata, where they actually value customers and know how to provide basic respect and service. The woman who handled my call should be absolutely ashamed of how she represents this business. Tony’s lost a long-time, loyal customer today—and I will make sure others know to think twice before supporting them.
