Opinions de Firehouse Subs Sugar Land
Everything was great. Clean shop, friendly faces, tasty food. My favorite sandwich shop.
Good stuff. The crew has changed since I first visited 5 years ago. They didn't impress at all. Thankfully I was nearby and gave them another chance. 10 steak and cheeze later with extra pickles spears.. Half delivered via uber eats.
First time at this location. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality and experience. Definitely will be coming back!!
Quick and great food
Normally I get the beef and cheddar or it might be called brisket and cheddar something like that but it's really really good and I could eat a million of them! This time I got jerk turkey, and it was interesting and I thought it tasted really great too! Neat addition, Firehouse Subs!
I highly recommend coming here if you’re ever in the mood for sandwiches! The sandwiches are great, they have a nice drink machine, and many selections of chips/snacks. Also, the staff here are very polite and kind. I will be coming back here!
So nice to be helped by smiling faces, the awesome sandwich is the bonus. I had the spicy Cajun chicken 🤤🤤 highly recommend!
Been a customer for years now. The sandwiches are still good as ever; the bread they make is definitely above average and the ingredients are fresh.
Staff is very nice, food is always great and fresh!
Love this place!!! My husband and I have been going there for over 5 years and it doesn't get old. The veggie sandwich is great and the service is exceptional!
Love the brisket sandwich. Small place but not too crowded most of the time. The manager was great when I had a problem once with my order.
So many sandwich options to choose from. I loved trying different Sandwiches all the time. The restaurant staff is very friendly & helpful. I also tried their Catering Services few times. BEST SUBS IN TOWN🥰
Always a good experience at this restaurant. Food is always fresh and tasty.
Whoever the man was that answered the phone today at 12PM was so so nice. Thank you! I was a pain in the butt and wanted to add lettuce and tomato on an uber order. He needs some credit.
This place is located between shops and at this small plaza/shopping center, you can enjoy your delicious sandwich. However, there is not enough tables to have friends join you. There are tables outside and next to Firehouse, but if I were handicapped I would not be able to sit there since there is not enough leg room. Those tables seem like they are property of the shopping plaza. Either Firehouse or property owner if the plaza, should have better tables and chairs outside, for when someone would like to sit outside and eat. Other than that, there is great service, courteous employees, and friendly. Delicious sandwiches!!!
This was my first time eating at Firehouse, and it didn’t disappoint. I had the turkey bacon all the way. The customer service was astounding, the food is fresh and delicious, and the environment was relaxing. I will definitely be back.
Great customer service. I used a coupon and incorrectly entered it management assistance me. Over all great experience I really enjoyed this place. Great hot subs❤️
At 12:30 the place is empty. Usually a bad sign, right? Nope! Great food! Great price! And super dooooper friendly people working here! The restaurant is pretty clean and to be honest, these sammiches are way above what o would expect from a chain sammich shop. Awesome!
Yes 5 Stars during my first visit. From the delicious food to the outstanding service! Don't know what to order, just ask Randy. The guy really knows his sandwiches! Had one of the juiciest tender sandwiches ever. Check out my pictures to see Randys creation and how to order it. I would call it the Randinator because it killed the rest of the sandwiches!
I recently visited Firehouse Subs at 3135 Hwy 6 in Sugar Land, and I must say, the experience was exceptional! From the moment I walked in, the customer service was outstanding. The team was welcoming, friendly, and attentive. A special shoutout to the manager, Rofhni! Her dedication to customer satisfaction is truly commendable. Rofhni consistently goes above and beyond to ensure every customer leaves happy, making the dining experience memorable. It's clear she lead her team with passion and commitment. Now, let’s talk about the sandwiches—they are simply delicious! Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and amazing flavors come together in every bite. Whether you prefer a classic or something with a twist, you’ll find the perfect sandwich here. Overall, I highly recommend Firehouse Subs in First Colony for its stellar customer service, excellent management, and mouthwatering sandwiches. I can’t wait to return!
First time trying this cheese steak. Really surprised me! The white bread is suppa yummy!
Staff was very nice and welcoming! Restrooms and dining area were very clean.

My favorite sub sandwich spot has been Firehouse Subs for the past 5 or so years. But I must say, not every location provides consistent tasting sandwiches & all locations definitely aren't customer service centered. This location provides both when I visit it every so often. The young guy who typically rings me up is polite & welcoming & my sandwiches are always made correctly and tasty. I could eat an Italian sub a couple times a week, but I'm trying to watch my carb intake & lose weight, so I'll visit maybe 2x a month. But the anticipation of having to wait weeks or even a month or two between my subs...makes it all the more enjoyable when I do.

Sandwich and service were good. My first time there in several years. Takes a few minutes for food prep and if you're not familiar with menu difficult to be aware of different options e.g add-ons and condiments.
This location is always friendly and serving great food But long wait times and a hot temp Inside during the summer time bring this to a 4 star review Give it a try if you can’t sit down get it Togo
Friendly and patient staff. We visited with 3 of our grandchildren and they were super. Everybody's order came out perfect and the food was delish. My only disappointment was not being able to access their usual array of sauces. To top sandwiches-go away CoVid-19!
Another place I love to visit, I picked up a club on a sub, they don't do the traditional sub with oil, vinegar, tones of lettuce and tomatoes, I ask for extra lettuce but got no extra, I thought it was free,( lettuce ) thier subs were down sized like subway, instead of a 4,5 inch, it's more like 2 inches wide, subway has the window so you can watch them make your sub and add things as they do,I didn't see that here. They are good but if I could have seen more additives I would have put more, stand up and watch them make your sub is best, in all good food Clean, nice cashier, easy to talk with. Spoke English very well,
We visit multiple times to Firehouse for big delicious sandwiches. You can make your own customized sandwich or choose one of their specialty subs. They are the place to go if you’re looking for a sandwich place. Much better than going to Subway or McDonald’s. It’s easy to order online or you can pop in for a quick to go order. Love that a portion of our purchases go towards equipment for first responders. Salads and kids menu are also available.

It's was fast and friendly service. My favorite name of sandwich there is the Steamer.
The subs are good and the bread is really good. The location is good and easy to find. It could have a bit more room for seating but it is fine. The service is good and friendly. Similar to other good sandwich shops. I really appreciated being introduced to Firehouse Subs via a TMobile promotion. I had never had one of their subs before and it was a pleasant surprise!

I like firehouse and normally have a good experience when I stop at any of them, but this time (my only time so far), when I stopped for a sandwich they was a man working on the soda machine. As I was ordering, I wanted to get a combo with a drink but when I asked if the machine would be down long they said "yes, it may be another 10 minutes", so I told them I was going to get a combo, but if there's no soda machine I'll get just the sandwich. Well, 2 minutes later the machine was back in service and I thought of telling them to change my order to a combo, but they were chatting behind the counter so I figured why give them more of my money. I waited a couple of more minutes and left with just a sandwich. This is the type of instance were a good customer service oriented employee would have at least asked if I wanted a soda when they saw the man complete the work and leave. It was bothersome that they did not.
The ambiance is dull and average. The Jamaican jerk turkey sandwich was okay. The sauce was super sweet, though I was expecting spicy. I appreciate what Firehouse subs does for the firefighters 🚒, however, they charge a high price for sandwiches that are mediocre at best. It's totally not worth the price. The cashier that took my order was super friendly and answered my questions about their $3 pickle buckets. When I got to eat my sandwich, the pickle was on my sandwich and had made it soggy. I really wished the pickle was separated from the sandwich, but it wouldn't have helped the sandwich improve much. It was about $15 for a medium Jamaican jerk turkey sub plus the tip.
Good sandwiches, pretty typical food quality compared with other firehouse locations. Smaller storefront with tight indoor seating area and limited space. Pretty dirty and grimy inside which is disappointing for somewhere that you’d normally want to enjoy eating in a clean environment. The service was so so as the workers were doing their job but nobody was friendly or went out of their way in the customer service department. They have a great GF sandwich bun, although it is smaller than ideal.

Very cramped location, hard to move around without bumping into someone. Sandwich was ok, soup was nasty. I've had Firehouse Subs before...this one did not make the grade for me.
Honestly, I am very disappointed. I have not been to this location in over a year, and something certainly changed....be it management, employees or ownership. The employees did not greet me and I waited around for someone to take my order. A younger man came out and took my order but acted like I was a nuisance, as I was redeeming my birthday sub. As a customer who worked in the service industry before, I find it disturbing that no one has mentioned this before and corrected the action. I understand that employees are hard to find right now but employees that don't care are worse than having no staff, at least then you would have a valid excuse for lack of service. I agree with previous comments in regard to sanitation. Dirty tables, dirty soda fountain and a general lack of caring how the store is presented. I will not be returning and that is sad to say because I used to look forward to coming to this location after work years ago.
Ordered the Jamaican Jerk Turkey sub and the Hook and Ladder sub. The Jamaican Turkey didn't have much spicy flavor too it like I was expecting. For what I paid for the two subs, the size of the small was not work the cost as compared to other sub restaurants. This location was a lot smaller than the other Firehouse sub location I visited. It was also pretty dirty, lots of boxes and grimy inside which is disappointing for somewhere that you’d normally want to enjoy eating in a clean environment. The service was extremely slow. The workers just did what was expected and didn't go out of their way to be friendly or interact with the customers.
Ehh the sandwiches are not much different than subway. The tables and floors were disgusting. And it wasn’t even busy when I went in, one person could’ve been sweeping the floor and wiping the tables down. I had to wipe it down myself with hand sanitizer. I can understand if it’s busy they don’t have time to clean at the moment, but it wasn’t even busy. That should be unacceptable.
I went here to get me some chips and the first thing I noticed was there was no music playing. Then the cashier/ sandwich-making person, said just these four and we said yes. So for that I give the one star. Then he gave us our receit and left to go make more sandwiches. Again it was pretty quiet so we just heard the knives and wrappers making noise. Then we had to ASK FOR A BAG. We were getting four chips and no bag. So we had to ask for one. Anyway, chips are good and service not so good.
Firehouse Subs generally stands out amongst the sandwich places but this one I have just seen a steady decline in. Main thing I guess on this one is the service had become extremely bad. Like to the point of the staff walking off while you're placing your order and coming back to ask you to start over. The location is extremely dirty and unkempt on the inside. The seating tight which would not normally be an issue, but with the tables and floor being dirty my go to spit would be the bar style seating at the windows and even that is generally uncleaned now. Food is pretty consistently good and the beverage machine is always working. That is a huge plus when you have a family as everyone can get what they want. Parking is tight and unassigned by the business, but there is plenty of parking just not all at the storefront. Can't really recommend this location, my family still likes Firehouse so we'll just find one that cares more.
Came in for my birthday sub & the lady with the double chin was very rude. From start to finish of being in the store. I came back after getting my app to load and the young girl who took my order was very pleasant. Wont be returning just off of the first impression.

Very rude staff . I almost felt like I should apologize for my kids and I for wanting to eat there. Felt horrible for the guy at the register too. The sandwiches were made great but the management will keep you away.
Came in at 8:40 to buy a sub and I was told that they were already closed and had sterilized everything. Might as well advertise you close at 8:40 rather than 9pm🙄 really bad customer service experience to promote something and not provide the service as such (:
Don’t let your customer stand and wait in front of you for 10-15 minutes without acknowledging them
Absolutely the worst staff I have ever encountered. The two women behind the counter where talking bad about other customers in Spanish not knowing I know the language. I then told the manager on duty and was told to mind my own business. Absolutely will never go to firehouse subs again today's date is 3/4/21 at 2:20pm
Been eating here for 2 years. The service was great. They changed their staffs a couple times. Yesterday I went in and ordered the food like usual. Carry out order so I didn’t tip like usual. Anyway, the cashier gave me a different cup (clear with Lid already on and obviously looked used and dirty) for my order and told me this is your cup while they have a full stack of paper cups that is at the front as usual. I looked at the cup and immediately knew something was wrong so I told him that I will get a different cup and get the one from the front at their counter. Due to this I have to watch they make the food like a hawk and make sure the employee that I spoke to didn’t try to do something with our food. The other employee came back from the bathroom break and the usual cashier with the curly hair stepped in to help with the order. Out of the 3 sandwich I ordered only 2 were made right. One of them just have meat and cheese and nothing else. It didn’t resemble the sandwich that we usual have. I have decided to never eat here again if this is how they treat you and your food if you don’t tip for Carry out orders.
Normally I love this location but I placed an order online and someone came in and grabbed my order. I think they need to ask for ID when picking up an order. They remade it However they looked at me
Can't speak for all employees, but one rude wmplojust wasn't willing to help me. I asked if I could get the FREE add ons, I repeat FREE add ons put on to my sandwich and blatantly fired back no. I made an honest mistake on my order and they weren't accommodating to my ask whatsoever. I ended up paying $9 for a sandwich with pretty much nothing on it
I’ve supported this location of Firehouse since it opened. Even during the pandemic I made sure to frequent via food delivery apps. A couple of months ago, I got a BOGO for Firehouse and used it at this location. When I picked up my order, I asked if I can have the Captain Sorensen’s sauce. The owner told me, “I can’t give you the sauce because your sandwich was free.” What…?? Even if you claim “the economy” or “COGS” it still doesn’t make sense to lose a customer over a sauce packet.
We sepnd $70 for food and we could not even eat is they made it hours prior and bread was so soggy you could not eat and when I called they put me on hold and just told that is not the case I would never buy from Firehouse any where they should have offer me replacement or something rather than attitude
