Beautiful and colorful place..right after you enter the place it just makes you happy seeing the colorful decor and ambience.. Has a friendly staff.. We ordered margaritas and they were really good.. The nachos were really yum and light.. They were quite different from the regular nachos that i have at other places.. The vegetarian chilli rayno was also tasty.. The quantity served is great so think before you order you might have to parcel them..😜

Definitely one of the best spots for Mexican in the area. A little over priced, but the service and family friendly environment makes up for it. I always order the fajitas, enchiladas or taquitos with a Cadillac Margarita, which is very good and strongly! Just make sure you get here at a decent time to avoid the long wait times!

Walked over from my hotel during a business trip. Unassumingly in a strip mall, the inside is bright and colorfully decorated. The margarita was very tasty - I'm not sure what was added beyond the usual recipe, but it had something extra and was delicious. The enchiladas and relleno were also tasty and the servings were large - I was too stuffed for dessert. Did see a number of tables with happy young kids, so I assume the kids' menu is good too.

Hands down the best mexican sit down restaurant in sunnyvale. Ive been going for 17 years and evrey meal is delicious. The workers are very nice and i love the steak burrito!! Very family owned feeling and is a sunnyvale classic!

I had take out Shrimp Fajitas. They were ok. Shrimp was tough. No salsa.

This is a great place for Mexican food and beer. It has all the usual items. Nothing gourmet, but the taste is good. I ate part of the tostada salad with chicken before the picture, sorry I was hungry. The chip refills came quickly and our granddaughter got milk and a quesadilla before she knew it.

The steak picado was delicious but the portion was a bit smaller than I thought (the container was huge). The flan, salsa and chips were good.

The salsa was the highlight and very well made. Got the catfish taco but seemed a bit lacking in taste. Fajitas were good.

Bad: Takes a long time for the food to get to the table and also to flag down waiters. It’s also a bit dirty inside so we had flies coming around and buzzing. Overall a fun vibe and felt authentic! They also have great free chips and salsa!

Chicken chimichanga had a wonderful flaky, crispy crust and the fried ice cream was quite good. Not sure the ice cream was fried, but the cinnamon chips that came with it were fried and made the dish complete. Decorations have red green white Mexican national colors as well as bright yellow paint.

Great food and atmosphere but they seem to be closed 1/3 of the time. Google maps isn’t consistent and they decide to close on holiday weekends without updating google maps. I’ve tried to dine here 5 times and show up to see a sign on the door that they’re closed. It would be nice if they updated google maps or stayed open every day adding some new staff ao they could be open every day.

Food good. Had to tell two different bartenders I needed to close out. 20mins later after watching conversations continue with friends. I finally got my tab closed. Half empty, only 2 other people at the bar. Step it up. STOP the conversation or learn to multitask. Even after I handed over my card, there was a whole conversation right in front of me. P

On top of it, the three enchiladas and a diet coke rang up to 30.80. With tip it was $36 for one person and no alcohol. I'll just go to a taqueria next time.

It's a beautiful restaurant with a nice calm atmosphere. Even as lunch picked up it didn't seem overly loud. This was our first time here. Given the glowing reviews we were expecting spectacular food. But none of the food really had much flavor or seasonings. The guacamole lacked any red onion or cilantro. The enchiladas Suizas was much different than expected with a bland sauce. We usually go to Palo Alto Sol, so perhaps it's just a very different type of Mexican food than we were expecting. Overall, for us it was a miss, but they do have excellent service.

For $40 for 2, no drinks, I expected better food. I order Chili Verde, described as tender pork. It appeared to be pork chunks that had been sitting under a heat lamp for a day, hard. With the "chili" ,which was kind of watery, the entire dish was bland, lack of flavor. My Brother had one of the platers and too was not impressed. Chicken too salty he said, beef sauce was not good. We will not return.

Chicken burrito was really bland - the burrito was about 70% boiled chicken and 30% beans. I expected more flavor and fillings like most other places but this really was not it.

This place used to be great but seems to have declined somewhat. Slow service (delayed food, no refilling of waters, etc) & most food items we got were quite underwhelming / some like the guacamole not even matching the menu description
