Fantastic twists on classic food and a rustic lodge atmosphere. Everything was simply delicious.

Food was good, nothing spectacular but the service was amazing. Our server/host Lukas B. was very attentive and helpful.

Nice service and really good food in a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended for everyone who doesn't want to cook for a change ;-)

I wanted to give a huge shout out to Lukas who was our waiter on Saturday, August 2nd. We were a part of a wedding celebration and took up about 3 tables. Lukas appeared to be the only waiter and bartender that day and he killed it. He handled, what I would call a very stressful work environment, with poise and grace. I have a feeling since there was a different wedding taking place that day, staff was stretched thin, but Lukas was able to hold his own. Thank you, Lukas for the excellent service. Now on to the food, I ordered the burger and it was amazing. Everyone at my table seemed to enjoy their food. I would definitely return.

The most slept on restaurant in tahoe. The combination of Carlos and the caper sauce is to die for. Highly recommend 🫶

Delicious food. I had the spicy Italian pizza. Best I've had in a while. They had a piano by a fireplace and a young man played several songs. It was a magical experience. The waiter also sassed my sister in law playfully, which I enjoyed.

Found Cedar House Pub when researching restaurants with vegan options in the area and was not disappointed. Had a delicious vegan steak (with multiple side options of potatoes, veggies, spatzle salad) and a gazpacho. Drinks were also delicious and non vegan family were happy with their trout dish as well. Chef and server (Lukas) were helpful and attentive and we loved sitting on the patio with our dogs. Will definitely come back!

A really quaint spot in summer and winter. Cozy fireplace in winter, lovely outside deck in summer. Beautiful flowers. Feels like you’re at a Swiss lodge. Service is very friendly and food is yummy. An overall sweet spot.

Food was fantastic! That trout, though. We also got the steak which was delicious. Service was a titch slow and could've been more attentive but that wasn't major. Would definitely eat there again.

This is a gem of a restaurant. Close to Tahoe city but set back in a picturesque quiet wooded area. Food is fantastic and service is friendly, relaxed and helpful. Value for money is better than any other restaurant in Tahoe city. And the wine selection is surprisingly good.

Best kept secret in Tahoe! The food is always top notch. Atmosphere is wonderful inside or outside on the deck. Granlibakken is tucked away in the woods & is so lovely & peaceful. Highly recommend for locals & tourist alike.

Beautiful location, you can eat on the deck surrounded by woods. The food is creative, delicious and nutritious. The staff are friendly, attentive and informative. We will definitely return.

A West Shore secret place to dine. Greeted at the door. Fresh flowers on the table. Nice real fire. Excellent French onion soup. Nice presentation and excellent service. Corkage is $15.

Food was pretty good. A few vegetarian options. Nice setting with outdoor seating in the woods. The only problems were the temperature (cold and heaters were mostly off) and the smoke from the grill going directly into the dining area.

Pick another spot. Outside seating during the summer is out in the sun. Their website doesn't say they don't allow dogs outside but when we got there they told us we can order but if someone complains we'd be asked to leave. We didn't care for the attitude so we spent our time and money elsewhere.

They charged for take out containers… as guests at the resort and paying customers, I was actually shocked. Let alone $3.25 for three plastic containers? I have never encountered something this insane at a restaurant ever. Food was also overpriced and downright bad. If the restaurant is having to charge for takeout containers, they’ve got bigger problems. Just don’t eat here. Update: they wrote a rude response and then randomly updated it a couple months later

We didn’t even eat. We walked in and walked out. There was not a single other diner, one staff person and the front desk guy laughed when we said we were looking for the restaurant because the signage is so bad. The lights were off even though it was 6pm. No idea what was going on but I would not return simply because the vibes were so bad.
