Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

So we had all just completed the Gasparilla 5k and we were feeling pretty grand and grateful for being able to be together for the event. We included two wonderful granddaughters, my daughter and myself. It was an amazing experience to see how much my girls loved me. They stayed with me even though I was not moving as fast as I wanted. However we wanted to celebrate receiving our finishing medals in a place where we love to eat. It was unanimous:The Cracker Barrel! We had wonderful meals. I tried the Fish Dinner. I always enjoy shopping in the Cracker Barrel gift shop. I love the Easter gifts that I got. Hooray for me!

To start off - great service - Dominic got us a great spot by the window. Maddox was super nice and cater best to our taste buds. Maddox does need a praise / raise too ! I’m coming here again. I ate the good old country boy breakfast with the smores latte ! The biscuits are too good and talk about the house maple syrup - just yum. You can’t go wrong with Cracker Barrel !!! Peace

New item on the menu: rice with grilled fish and steamed shrimp with two or three sides. You can built it where nothing is fried and have a healthy choice. The place gets very busy. Ask for napkins ahead of time.

GRETA offered us efficient service with a smile and lots of patience. Lots of options for breakfast and brunch with old fashioned bacon and eggs, many varieties of pancakes, grits, breads, and biscuits. I love eating off real plates and with real silverware. Great wifi here. We ordered bacon and eggs and eggs, hash browns and biscuits, all prepared perfect to our request, and hot. The store, which you have to pass through on the way in and the way out, is chock full off inspirational signs, towels, apparel, hats, books, calendars, a poster summarizing Burt's Bees products history---and a 50% off sale rack of great comfy ponchos. we also sat for a while on the rocking chairs out front.

The wait time for food is usually quick, and everything always arrives hot and delicious. “Mrs. Betty” is especially fantastic—always friendly, smiling, and ready to make you feel right at home. She truly adds to the welcoming experience. Highly recommend for a comforting, home-style meal. ♥️ Convenient location also! Take out campfire beef was fantastic!

I was so hungry I forgot to get pictures of the food hahaha 😂. Got the grandpa's breakfast and it was awesome with the biscuits and gravy, fried steak and hash browns. Son got the French toast with fried chicken. Both were tasty. Also had the Carmel hot coffee latte, hot chocolate and ice Carmel latte. The hot chocolate was yummy. The iced caramel was very strong, sugar and syrup couldn't even cover the taste. Brewed too strong. Got a root beer instead. Love the store to shop in after eating. Always have to buy something. Even if it's just candy or chocolate that can't be found easily from when I was a kid. Also love the new rewards program. Free appetizer with first meal.. rewards are definitely worth it. Was able to get 2 entrees free tonight!!!

I haven't been to a cracker barrel to eat in so long, I couldn't really remember if it was good or not. The store they have is very eye catching, lots of pretty things that pop out and make you wanna walk around and look at each thing. The staff here was very sweet, energetic, and helpful. They made the experience better. The food was really good, very hot & tasty. I loved the dill ranch that came with the chicken tenders. They have so many different options to choose from. I really enjoyed their new fruit stand tea as well. I wanna go back and see what their meatloaf tastes like next time. Thank you for the lovely lunch.

Cracker Barrel is a great restaurant but the reason for the 3 stars for this particular location is because my party did not receive any biscuits until our food was ready, the waitress was talking too low when taking our orders, and the Mac and Cheese I had on the side had a hard shell in it. That hurt a tooth of mine.

The new recipe is terrible and the breading is spicy. I think changing these recipes was a mistake. The food may have changed but the staff is still great! They were very nice and accommodating to the issue. The only problem is the food. The picture order is original then new. You can tell the difference. Update: I talked to customer service finally and was able to have a normal conversation with someone. I understand the change but I highly recommend them going back to the original breading recipe. The new one is not good. I haven't been back to check if it has returned but if it has I would definitely start eating there again.

No photos this time, but don't let me catch poor quality again. Next time I'll be ready, if I ever decide to go back.

When I visited your establishment twice I went in with high expectations to try out the Winter Berry tea. Twice I left with disappointment. First experience the waitress explained the restaurant ran out of the syrup. 2nd time I was told it was discontinued. Then why do you keep menus out advertising the tea if you guys don't carry it. That's very poor misrepresentation and trash experience. This is the only way I can share my frustration. You guys need to do better.

I love Cracker Barrel, I’ve worked at a few and love the amount of hospitality and friendliness Cracker Barrel is known for. I went into my local one today to return an item I bought from another location and was astonished by lack of hospitality. Not from the workers no they were amazing the gentleman I interacted with had wonderful hospitality and professionalism. I requested the refund be in cash so of course a manager had to be called. She was absolutely horrible, awful attitude. Barely said a sentence to me outside of confirming which location I worked at and looking me up and down. I felt like a criminal for returning the item. The only reason I came here was because of how close to home it is. Sadly I won’t be visiting this retail shop and possibly not this location at all after this.

Cracker Barrel was once one of our favorite restaurants; however since the pandemic, quality, portions and a generally welcoming atmosphere have continually deteriorated while the cost of a meal has skyrocketed. $4.45 for black coffee!!! Asked for garlic bread because I couldn’t eat the Parmesan crusted bread due to an allergy and I never received it even though she said they were making it. Bought bottomless tea, but couldn’t get a refill. Our server, Genesis B, said she’d get it and then disappeared. Could see her hanging out on her phone and socializing in the server galley while we were just waiting. We were at a tiny table and she never once pre bussed. We finished our meals before seeing her, she even told us to have a great day without giving us our check…😬 we could’ve just left. Terrible service, food was not great either. We got the wrong sides, and extra sides we didn’t ask for but were still charged for. I also really wanted to order dessert but by then was so ready to get out of there. I was trying to be patient with all the mistakes because she seemed nee but then it just got worse and worse.

I really do not know why I go, I went Monday 8/18 and it was terrible, which I expected. But the other people with me had breakfast meals and I am not sure how, but the pancakes were totally undercooked. I really do not know how whomever cooked them though, pasty white pancakes, just like grandma used to cook them! Service was decent, so there is that much that was right. Thankfully it was bad enough for everyone, so that I will not have to go back again. ----------------------- Went there again, not good. The food was OK at best. I had the roast beef, the Okra was good at least. My wife had pancakes and they were not that great.
