This is my 3rd time here and Shrimp Shack never disappoints. The food is amazing, the shrimp is fresh and cooked perfectly. There mocktails are divine too! As for the service, it's fantastic as they are always attentive, welcoming and friendly. The music isn't too loud either so you can enjoy your meal and talk when you not stuffing your face with amazing shrimp 🤭

My new favourite spot! Visited on a Wednesday evening table for 1! Seated quickly and was greeted. Member of staff called Benjamin greeted, seated me and explained the menu as I hadn’t been before and I said I’d like spicy prawns so chose the house sauce great recommendation it was perfect amount of spice without making it unenjoyable. I ordered 15x Princes (house sauce), chips and stir fry veg. The chips could have had more seasoning added but was great portion of chips and veg for 1 person. I had a few questions after ordering and there was a member of staff called Amari who was happy to help and explain that I probably wouldn’t need to order separate sauce as the prawns came with quite a lot of sauce. I’m glad I listened as the prawns came out drenched in sauce. The prawns tasted really fresh and were super easy to peel and eat. Loved this meal and I recommended it to my family and friends whilst still in the restaurant! Total came to £29.25!

Staff were very welcoming and polite. Seated in a booth style table which is quite spacious. We had Shack Sharer Bucket, Snow Crab Clusters with a choice of sauce and 2 sides and Sailor's Platter. Very generous portions of everything. Milkshakes and Smoothies very nice. You pay the bill after ordering. Staff made sure throughout our meal that everything was ok and if we required anything. We really liked this restaurant. We'll be back again and will recommend to family and friends.

A good vibe at this restaurant, music 🎶 playing quietly in the background. The prices for the food are very reasonable. So too are the beverages. Would highly recommend this place for a group gathering.

Part of a chain, thought we would try it as have been passing by it for nearly a year. Didn't disappoint all the seafood you could want. The soups were particularly nice and the seafood was good, the spice level is prominent so ask for without if that's not your thing. Big groups there sharing platers with gloves and bibs on. It is a bit pricey for what it is, but good nevertheless.

The food honestly tasted soo good especially the Salmon which makes me wanna come back again for more.

Good selection in menu, good quality ingredients. We had a sharing platter, wings, and drinks. Everything we tried was delicious. Flavours might sound simple but it's all made and cooked to perfection.

Bought the seafood boil (with crab) for takeaway. It looks a bit terrifying. It tasted absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly and organised when I arrived to collect it. Thoroughly enjoyed the food!

The place was empty when I went for my birthday lunch. Previously, whenever I had gone by it was always packed, but being that the food was really good and the service attentive, quick and the staff knew their stuff. No alcohol, but the green smoothie hit the spot. Quite reasonable, price wise and will visit again.

Atmosphere was good, the restaurant was filled with families on a Friday evening. Platters were worth every penny oh pounds! Staff were very attentive even though it was busy.

Travelled 1.5 hours from Essex and it was worth it. Absolutely loved it! ;the chessy garlic bread,the bbq wings, the crabs, boil, skipper platter ,everything was lovely! Staff were kind, smiling and great. Nothing was too much. Toilet clean. Amazing. Worth the travel. Love. Love. Love

Really enjoyed our time there. From the moment we walked in, the staff took us to a table and gave us the menu. Whilst looking through the menu, one of the staff members came and recommended a few dishes. We went with the recommendations and I can tell you that we weren't disappointed. We had the big platter and it was really nice and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you. We will definitely come back again.

Today I have taken my kids to dine here for the first time. I didn’t have high expectations but we were actually impressed. The waiters were amazing, really great service. I was advised on what to order given the number of people and size of portions without having to buy too much food. We had one of the sharing platers for me and my daughter, a kids meal for my son, drinks and an extra portion of veggies. The portions are impressive. Me and my daughter couldn't finish the plater which was meant to be for two people. However, you can have for takeaway whatever you're left with. The food was tasty, service was amazing and I would definitely go back. I highly recommend this place. :)

Shrimp Shack – Streatham What an absolute gem! Garlic Cheese Bread: Succulent and delicious. Perfectly cheesy with just the right amount of garlic. Chicken Wings: Tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Firecracker Chicken: Just amazing. spicy and addictive. Shrimp Boil: Crème de la crème. Hands down the best seafood boil I’ve ever had. The service was excellent-friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Prices are very reasonable, especially when sharing with friends. I genuinely love this place and can’t wait to go back!

We visit recently shrimp shake with my wife and kid. As it was our first time we didn’t know what to order . We have been advised from cashier girl to get sharing platter. It was very good choice and all 3 of us left happy with the recommendation as it was our first time

Food was amazing the sharing platters are the right portion and sauces are on point. The cocktails are delicious, we had the Pinacolada and Strawberry Mojito. We ended the meal with sticky toffee pudding, which was light yet hit the right spots and fondant chocolate which was decadent! Definitely coning back to try done more delicious food.

Amazing experience. We were welcomed with a smile and guided to a corner table. The waitress was friendly and patient and took time to explain the menu as it was my first time. I had the Sailor’s platter. It was a massive collection of scrumptiously delicious. Came with four sauces I loved the peppery and garlic flavoured one. The coleslaw was yummy. Berry cocktail was the best Now the quantity was enough to feed four. Such great value for money - had to takeaway. All through the meal different waiters kept coming up to make sure we were okay. It was a beautiful experience and the ambience was calm and relaxing. Such a beautiful place. Would recommend and I’ll definitely be back. 😋😋😋

Just tried Shrimp Shack for the first time and WOW — I’m honestly impressed. The shrimp was insanely good, super fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The fries were crispy, the portions were huge, and everything came out fast. The staff was super friendly too, which made the whole experience even better. I wasn’t expecting it to be this good, but now I’m officially a fan. I’m definitely going back — like, soon.

Delicious generous portions . Good value . We had shrimp with lemon butter sauce. Very moreish. Good balance of flavours. Calamari was piled high and topped with chilli and herbs. Excellent service. Friendly and attentive staff.

Sitting there while people walked by and looked at our food felt uncomfortable, even though there were better seating options available inside. Another thing that caught me off guard was having to pay right after placing the order. It’s not something I’m used to, and it felt a bit inconvenient. As for the food, it was generally good but slightly oily — especially the rice and chips. The prices also seemed a bit on the higher side for what was offered. We ordered the “Grab” dish for £10, but unfortunately, it was overly salty and felt like a waste of money. On the brighter side, I really enjoyed their sauces, which added a nice touch to the meal. Overall, while the service and flavors were decent, the seating and pricing could definitely be improved. With a few adjustments, this place could be much more enjoyable.

I've been waiting to eat at this place for long time but it's not cheap and have seen mixed reviews. I ordered the sailors platter £29, consists of 10 medium shrimp, 10 queen shrimps, corn on cob and mac and cheese. With 3 different dips. The shrimps were descent size, the dips that came with it was too much buttery. Corn on cob, standard, the mac and cheese was good too. Can't complain really, maybe should be little cheaper.

I attended Shrimp Shack for my mother-in-law's birthday. We had 2 booths booked for 9 people. The tables and seat were tidy and comfortable. I ordered a SS boil. It is very filling; a lot comes with the dish, I had to take my left overs home. The taste was nice and the atmosphere was good; good music and laughter. We had a great server, his name was Rodrigo. He was very helpful and polite. I had an 8pm booking, so I was able to park right outside as the street parking was restricted from 7am - 7pm. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would recommend to everyone to try at least once.

I ordered the seafood boil for one on Deliveroo, which came to around £35 after all the fees. The food was prepared and delivered in about 30 minutes, which was pretty good. The shrimp and prawns were fresh and full of flavour, and the portion size was fair too. The mac and cheese was the star of the meal. It was creamy, rich, and easily a 10 out of 10. The only letdown was the corn on the cob, which tasted store bought and didn’t really match the quality of the rest of the food. Overall, it was enjoyable, but £30 feels too expensive for what you get. At around £15, it would have felt like money well spent.

Really good service and there's a broad menu, which includes Halal meat options, as well as plenty of seafood. Unfortunately, it's not a "boil in a bag", but the food is fairly well cooked. Thankfully, a bottomless soft drinks option is available (no alcohol on site). Food is served fairly quickly.

My friends and I had a lovely time here. The food was delicious, and the service was good. One suggestion: requiring payment upfront detracted a bit from the overall experience, making it feel less upscale. On a very positive note, the manager (we believe it was him) went out of his way to be helpful by directing us to the local mosque for our Salah, which we really appreciated.

The shrimp was incredible and so was the house sauce, which is what I got it with. Believe it was the 15 princes with chips and mash, but think the mash was just so-so. The star is definitely the seafood (obviously). Would definitely come again.

While we didn't make a reservation and were seated without any issues, it's clear that this place gets busy, so booking a table in advance is a smart move. I ordered the seafood platter, which featured various-sized shrimp & prawns, and was accompanied by chips, rice, and mac & cheese. It was truly outstanding. We also tried the naked prawns with lemon and herb, as well as BBQ prawns, both of which were fantastic. Keep in mind that they don’t serve alcohol. The service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. But ample parking is in the bay at the front of the restaurant, or you can find spots on the side roads. Plus, the restaurant is wheelchair-friendly, making it accessible for everyone.

Fantastic atmosphere, went there for lunch with the family, we did a walk in without reservation and we were the first customers in. It was very quiet at that time of the day and we had a good experience.

Shrimp shack I was so excited to eat here for my birthday 🥳 & I did & dont need to again 😒. I had the surf & turf because I wanted both shrimp & steak 🤨 bad choice, they dont do steak well as in they cant COOK steaks so dont bother try unless you dont mind a work out "a jaw" workout, I normally go for well done but this time I said try something else 🫥 thank goodness I did or I dont think my steak would of been edible as it came well done & not the medium I had asked for & eating it was a struggle 🥵🥵, the dull steak knife provided was no help, I was sawing away like i was building a fence 🤨. How were the Shrimps you ask, I had queen's, they were all good! I could of ate a bucket of them 🤭 Maybe ill be back... maybe not! 😬 Ohhh & my food was cold well not cold but not the hot its meant to be considering it was just "cooked" they try blame us, but we dont control the room temperature nor plate temperature they do & did they expect us to be finished in 5mins? There was a mango chill sauce that was to die for absolutely loved it. 🤤🤤🤤

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING – Save your money!!!!!! ​Don’t believe the hype. We had an appalling experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, it took several minutes to even be acknowledged as there were only two staff members on the floor. ​Once seated at our reserved table, we were ignored for 45 minutes. When we finally asked to order, we were told another staff member would handle it—who took another 45 minutes to come over. In total, we waited 1.5 hours just to place an order, and a further hour for the food to arrive. We never even received our drinks. ​The food was even worse. My friend’s meal was completely inedible. Despite being a premium-priced restaurant, nobody performed a "check-back" on the meal (even Nando’s manages this). When we raised the issue, we were told the kitchen was closed and no solution or apology was offered. Because this restaurant forces you to pay upfront, they clearly felt no pressure to provide decent service or a refund for the untouched, inedible food. ​To top it off, I was refused extra sauce for my prawns because "the kitchen was closed." A total lack of care or professional hospitality. Avoid at all costs!!!
