Was craving a burger a couple nights ago. When my partner picked our order up it was eh. Food wasn't hot and kinda stale. I called and had my partner bring it back to be remade and they were so helpful and as quick as they could be. They were pretty busy. Also got a shake which was so good. This is the first time I've ever had my food be mid. I'll still keep going to Herbies. They're shakes especially are always so good.

Loved the vegan double cheese burger. The vegan steak is really good and tasty! The big fries are HUGE:) loved it and will come back!

The place is small but the Burgers are tasty. We ordered a Vegan and Cheese burgers and the packaging, the taste, the filling, everything was spot on. There is a finesse to the taste that is hard to describe, you need to eat it to find the difference.

I love the retro feel and the politically correct menu of traditional burger fries fare with vegetarian options that is all made in house. It's herbies coz the vege burger is herbie:) The fresh cut fries and the vege burgers are very delicious and enough reason to keep coming back for more!!

Shout out to Herbie's for coming through as a late night bite! Ordered the vegan BLT, mushroom burger, and vegan vanilla shake. The BLT was a tad bit salty but the bacon flavor was perfect so, still worth a reorder! I probably wouldn't return to this location however, because although I arrived over two hours before closing, the burgers were lukewarm at best.

Herbie's had a flavorful burger. The roll is nice (not necessarily fresh) and it is cooked well. The fries were a bit disappointing as they are pretty much just McDonald's fries. Ordering online was quick and the food was ready quickly as well. They seem to have late hours which is a positive since not a lot seems to be open that late in Troy. Given that other fast food chains are pretty expensive as well, this is a much better choice.

Interesting late night burger spot; overall it’s gonna hit the spot when you need a late night bite Reminds me of in n out with the simple menu, some guy tried to sell me AirPods on my way out of the establishment .very interesting Got truffle fries: single burger no cheese; and nuggets..friend got vegan burger. We also got a banana milkshake

Had a great lunch at Herbie's. The menu is pretty concise, but we enjoyed what we ordered - the burgers, fries and shakes were all good. Service was fast, and we were able to eat at one of the small tables they have.

Herbie's is extremely overpriced with very small serving sizes. They have minimal staff working even on the busiest days, making orders take excessively long to prepare. One single touch screen is set on the counter with no cashier available, making the ordering process as slow and dystopian as possible. Parking is hard to find on the street, and the restaurant itself is small and often excessively overcrowded which makes waiting for your food a rough experience. The very small "double" burger tasted good, but was much smaller than desired. The minuscule portion served of "large" fries were cold and over salted. Would not recommend Herbie's unless you are drunk and/or desperate.

Reddit recommended Herbies for smash burgers and fries. Burger was bland and the fries were the smallest portion I've ever seen. Wayyyyyy too expensive for average fast food. Also like the only local buisness to do absolutely nothing for the 1/30 strike, so I can't even feel good about supporting them.

Extremely rude cook. The floors are filthy and look brown. I walked back out I didn't want to order I was disgusted by the cleanliness and the lack of respect. It doesn't look like this location is going to be one that I will visit. Matter of fact the owner doesn't seem to care because look at the filfty that never gets cleaned I could only imagine what the kitchen looks like. .....🤢

The third time in two weeks that food was bad. Burgers burnt. Fries cold. The sitting room was dirty and the employees were complaining. Never again.

Subbed mayo for nerdy sauce and got the entire tub of mayo instead. Asked for a new one without mayo. Still got a ridiculous amount of mayo. Didn’t have it in me to go back a third time. The funny thing is I would NEVER get this amount of nerdy saucy on the burger. It’s 10x more than what you’d get with nerdy sauce. I also paid for aioli sauce and the container was half filled. Jay from the Troy store cannot make a burger or listen. Sloppy and greasy. If I didn’t get the death stare walking in, I would’ve asked for a refund on my $13 mayo sandwich. Would it kill anyone to smile and be friendly?

Editing my review to acknowledge the reply: No, this was not a DoorDash delivery driver mistake; there was no delivery driver involved. I was sick so I ordered this FOR PICKUP through DoorDash. My boyfriend went to get it for me. The shakes were made when he arrived and he asked them to be remade AT THE STORE, which was refused. They did not melt in the car. Ordered milkshakes at Herbie’s and they’re the consistency of water! Asked for it to be remade there and staff refused to. Complete waste of money

Normally I can deal with a mistake or two. But, I went to pick up my order and was given a completely wrong order. Original order was for two double cheeseburgers, both with bacon, and a large fry. When I got home and opened the bag, both burgers were extemely skimpy single cheeseburgers, no bacon to be found anywhere, and if the fry was really a large, that is completely laughable. My order seemed to be one of the only ones at the time, I was the only order sitting behind the register and there was no one at the restaurant. I could see if it was busy and orders were flying out the door a mistake could perhaps be made. This was not the case. Extremely disappointed for two burgers and fries that came to a $40 total. Also, mealeo platform provided no help and told me to reach out directly to the business. Bad all around, do not recommend at all. EDIT: Mealeo refunded my full purchase after opening a dispute via Paypal. very nice gesture
