Probably one of the cleanest dive bars I've been in. Service was great.

Desi's is a great place to chill and have a drink. I went on a night they were celebrating a birthday and there was karaoke. It was a fun, memorable time with excellent service, as usual, and great burgers!

Came by here randomly one night after showing my friend Liberty Station. Great place, the guy behind the bar was real cool and made some really good cocktails. I’d like to go back and stay longer.

One of my favorite watering holes in Point Loma. Great service, friendly atmosphere, and though it feels small the multiple levels of bar always mean you'll have a seat. Juke box is killer.

Truly the definition of dive bar. Desi is a cool lady. The burgers are served until 9:00pm and are really good. The downstairs by the restrooms could use a remodel.

The bomb.com. Come when the pizza is there “Angry Peetes Pizza”. Aside from the pizza the place is great for meetups and hanging out. Darts, pool table in the bottom level, and decent motorcycle parking. The place is great!

Desi's bar was awesome! I recommend the 1/2 burger and fries, both were cooked to order and amazing. Come for the drinks, stay for the people.

We are new to the area and loved this place! Came here basically when we got here great service great prices and really kind people! I think we may have found our new local bar!

They have a pool table and a Cool digital jukebox. I was the driver for my friend so i only had a few cups of coffee. My friend had a good coupple drinks.

I highly recommend the chicken sandwich or the corndog. They have a jukebox, two pool tables, and the food and drinks are reasonably priced. An all-around good spot to hang out for an hour or two. Update: During the pandemic, Desi’s discontinued their original kitchen and menu and brought in a third-party group to run their kitchen. The food is still great. Honestly, the food is better than anything at Stone Brewing, and Desi’s is only two blocks from there. The chicken sliders and the smash burger are delectable.

Basic bar with two pool tables for .50 cent games, a dart board, a jukebox and smoking patio. Staff are very friendly and drinks are priced well at $7 for a mixed drink. I’d recommend this bar for a relaxed evening.

Was visiting San Diego for a weekend getaway and came here with my date to escape Gaslamp for a night. We were just looking for a friendly, laid back dive bar with some food and pool tables. We found it! It's a great little gem of a place. The food was cheap and really good and the locals and the bartender were really welcoming and down to earth. If lived in the area this would be my local joint. Will definitely return. Thanks Desi's!

I really like this place. It has pool and serves food. Good times at this place. Recommend you stop in if you like a laid back environment.

Nice to see that one of the local bars is still up and running after all of these years. Parking sucks, but that's all part of the charm.

Not a huge selection of liquor either, but what they have is pretty good. Quite a few whiskeys and tequilas. I had some wings and they were ok, but not great. There's a couple of pool tables and darts. 80's and 90's music was playing too. Service - 5 Food - 3 Drinks - 4 Comfort - 4 If you want to possibly have a quite evening having drinks, watch some sports and have some good conversation, it's a good option. There's a basement with a pool table as well, so if you want some privacy, it's pretty cool. Though the restrooms are down there as well.

As I was playing on the table down under, I noticed that an armed member would stand post by the men's restroom while another member commenced to his business. They were cool, just a bit sketchy and contrary to their proclaimed cause. I would recommend this place for the young and reckless. I'm a bit older, yet still a bit reckless. LoL I had a good time, overall.

No parking lot, the wall that has their name looks like it would be a parking lot when in fact it's a single drive way with cars in the alley and not enough room to turn around and come out easily. Would love to tell you how the food was but nah I won't be back. Put a sign there's no parking lot for customers.
