We ordered the number 3, which includes one chicken slider, tender, and fries. We selected hot as the level of spice. Each slider contained a hearty piece of chicken and a generous amount of light, crispy breading. The pickles were of excellent quality and had just the proper amount of acidity to go nicely with the chicken's heat. The unique sauce is much more tangy and sweet than others. When we next visit the area, we will most certainly return :)

1/24/25 Friday We enjoyed the taste of food..... 4/19/24 Friday This is our 1st time n we ordered#3 medium heat 1 tender, 1 slider with fries n strawberry shake with oreo, all taste very good. Definitely come back again.

The food was great and salty. The sandwich of chicken was longer than a bread but I really like it. First time ever got bite of this chicken and fries. Second time I went was 2 tenders with fries (extra spicy)🌶️. It was spicy and first time I got tears in my eyes. It was wild!! And I got my milkshake for recovery from spices.

The food is great, the various spice levels make this a great option for the whole family to love. The service is great and the employees are kind. Andres was a great help and very accommodating. This is one of my favorite spots in Union City.

Excellent chicken. Very busy when I went, expect a ~15 to 30 min wait during busy times. Current menu is also with this post for those who want to see what they offer. They have meals + sides to order. For those who want a good first time, medium level hot sauce should be a good intro for the hot sauce scales, leaves just a slight burn 🔥. Chicken was crunchy, fries were delicious. A little pricier than other restaurants, but the quality and flavor is still great for the price. Got the #2, two sliders with Pickles + fries, but ended up getting another order of fries. 10/10 would eat again. Bonus: restaurant is halal certified too!

Husband asked if I wanted something from here, I said but it's chicken. And then he showed me their NOT chicken menu, substitute with cauliflower but with the same seasoning, I said yes! Chose the Cauli Slider with fries, heat level medium. The Asian spice level in me didn't taste anything spicy, a reason to order again but heat level hot next time. Husband enjoyed his medium and mild tender and slider. Cheese fries order was generously filled with cheese. Pic shown of the Single Cauli Tender, sliced on the side, thick cut cauliflower. Do not be afraid of the cauliflower, they're doing them right lol. Very tasty!

I'm thankful that they have about seven different spice levels, including no spice. I went with mild and it was still a little spicy for me (I have a terribly low spice tolerance) but the chicken was fantastic. It's perfectly fried, well seasoned, and one slider on its own is filling. The fries also have great seasoning on them, and you get some complimentary slices of bread with the tenders. This might be my new favorite chicken sandwich place.

Me and my co-worker were visiting from dallas texas and an awesome lady named Taty was extremey helpful and informative and friendly. She made me buy more because of her great energy and helpfulness. VERY VERY HAPPY WE WERE😊

When a chain expands this quickly, the big question is whether they can maintain their quality. In this case, they absolutely delivered. The food was delicious and served quickly. The spices were great and the chicken tenders were actually tender. I’ll definitely be coming back for Dave’s again. Next time I’ll try a hotter level, because the “hot” was good but more of a warm tingle than truly fiery.

Unfortunately I played it way too safe and got light mild and regretted it, I was afraid I was gonna have another Angry Chikz episode where the "hot" flavor comes with ghost chilis. Food is still amazing though, each and every single fry was coated with seasoning which I do appreciate, sometimes you get a plain fry at some places but not here, every fry gets to stand out. Chicken is nice and crunch and packed with delicious flavors; the slaw and pickles definitely help balance the richness of everything too.

I can't comment on the atmosphere or service inside the restaurant because I've only ordered online...omg we've ate here 3 nights in a row (dont judge us lol), our food is always hot & ready to pick up on time & soooo good,I usually get the slider with kale slaw as my side instead of fries...my son tried the loaded fries & he said they are amazing, the interaction I've had with staff to pick up or call was a positive & helpful experience...a definite must try.

I visited Davis Hot Chicken and tried the double slider with medium spice. The taste was really good — flavorful with just the right amount of heat. The restaurant itself was clean, and the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. Overall, a solid spot for a spicy chicken craving!

First time at Dave's Hot Chicken. The line was kinda long since it's new, but it was worth it. I love all spicy food. I chose "hot" just to try it out. It was decently spicy. The Dave's Sauce was pretty good. Reminds me of In-n-Out "spread" but a more refined flavor. Could do with a better interior design and table layout, but does the job sofar. Only thing I didn't like was the Line formation. Split into 2 separate lines when you get inside. Instead of 1 line that goes to the next available teller. Unfortunately I got stuck in the line with the slowest teller and my friend was able to get her food 15 minutes before I did. Her cheese fries didn't have a chance at surviving that long with me waiting. All thanks to the teller that spent too much time playing with her phone. Anyways I'll come back when the hype dies down, see if I still like it. Gonna try the "Reaper" level next time.

This one is a new restaurant in Union landing. It's right next to the theater... the chicken is like the main dish... its popular chicken tenders and sliders are very popular. It's spicy and tasty. Lot of parking right round. Good ambience. Food is not very pricey. Must try in Union City.

The food is really good here as well as the atmosphere of this restaurant since it brings like some colorful vibe. However, they take too long to prepare my food. I understand that there are a lot of people coming to this restaurant, but I believe that the service should be a bit quicker. I usually get the chicken tender and slider, because I don’t want to get too full for eating two sliders. Maybe I can try two sliders next time. I noticed that they kinda cut the portion size of the fries, but that’s good news, because the last time I came here, I was too full.

Inside was very loud and decorated with graffiti art on the wall. Art was cool, music was kinda annoyingly loud, standard pop and rap. Service was pretty good, moving fast but friendly enough. Kinda expensive for chicken tenders/sandwiches but standard for the bay area compared to places like chicken drip and angry chicks. You will be full on 2 tenders and fries. Worth it if you have some extra money to spend and don't want to spend the time making your own tenders.

The food is good. Sandwiches are cooked to order, so the chicken is still hot when served. Fries is good, not too crispy and not soggy. It's good for family, friends, and for those looking for a fast food joint that's decent. Service is alright as well.

I got 2 pieces of hot chicken with french fries, and Dave’s Special Sauce made the chicken more delicious. However, for the price I paid, it could have been more fulfilling. I’ve gone to a different spicy fried chicken joint where you get more for what your money’s worth. Also, I don’t like that they use styrofoam containers. Reviewing the service: This doesn’t have as much to do with the place itself, but it was really misleading for Google to say that the place is “usually not too busy” when I went. I had to wait for almost an hour for my food. And that was after waiting in line for about a half hour to order. When I finally got my food, while it was good, it wasn’t overall very satisfying given how long I had to wait. For a place this popular, they really need to do a better job with handling a big line, especially on a Friday night when it gets really busy (which is when I went). It also doesn’t seem like they have enough people taking orders; there were just two registers. Maybe next time, I’ll just order online and get something different.
