Best ice cream on the west coast period. The richest most distinct flavors. Eureka lemon and Turkish coffee are my favorites, absolutely incredible PS please please open a location in the SF bay area. All we have is generic slop. You guys would do well in somewhere like Marin

My son and I came in today. For me it was my first time trying the ice cream it was so super good. I didn't realize how long they have been so close to where I live and tried it for the 1st time. I will definitely be back with my friends and other family members. They also have dairy free ice cream. Try it for a yummy 😋 treat.

This is a cool little local ice cream shop. There is not much space indoors so do not expect to have seating. The staff was really friendly. They were really good about letting us sample. Sometimes I feel like wait staff gets annoyed giving samples but that's not the case here. I had a hot fudge Sunday. They offered to put the fudge in a different cup so it wouldn't melt the ice cream on the way home. That was a great idea and it worked out really well. My wife did the same with her order. I had the chocolate covered strawberry ice cream. It went well with the fudge. Honestly, the fudge was the best part. They also have non-dairy ice creams for those who can't drink milk. Do you ever wonder how cows feel about non-dairy products? I do. Worldly questions like that fascinate me.

The ice cream was delicious! This is the only still-independently owned and operated McConnell's and it shows in the character of the shop--the owner Jimmy is friendly, helpful, and overall wonderful. The variety of flavors is great and we all ended up choosing rather different flavors after tasting a few, so there's something for everyone (dairy-free options are tasty too!).

Their ice cream is Sooo gooooood. I mean, really? Who thinks of banana and salted caramel? It was amazing. The Santa Barbara strawberry was super great. My wife had the sea salt cream and cookies and loved it. We each got a double (mine had 3 flavors) and it was $8.5 each. Completely, totally worth it. (And I'm kinda cheap!)

Delicious! And the team was kind and made the experience even more fun. Cute outdoor seating area. There were families riding their bikes up, getting their scoops of ice cream, sitting down for a bit to enjoy it before continuing on their evening bike ride. Rockin atmosphere. A couple parking spots right in front and a mall lot adjacent if needed. Perfect treat after a long hiking adventure day at the Channel Islands and continuing on north for our road trip. Highly recommend!

Loved their chcolate covered strawberries flavor, also their pistachio amaretto... they give u cute tiny cups to sample flavors. Lovely and cozy ice cream place to share with friends and your loved ones a delicious scoop of I e cream. I see why they've been winners! They have a restroom and so much space to sit not only inside but also outdoors. Highly recommend this place. My husband and I have always wanted to try this place by Beverly Hills but we were on a drive out to Santa Barbara and saw this place on the way! Best find of the day!

Mc Connells ice cream shop has all the charm and joy of a simple time. If you have eaten McConnell's ice cream you will know why people come from miles for a scoop or three. If you haven't yet it's worth the visit. Ice cream flavors like Turkish coffee, Belgium chocolate and many seasonal and creative varieties will have your taste bids and heart singing. Ice cream created like it was meant to be, full of homemade deliciousness. Parking can be a bit trick but behind the shop there is a cul-de-sac with plenty of room to park if the spots up front are taken. A small patio area has some seating to enjoy your cone and relax.

This is the best ice cream in Ventura county. A little shop on Main Street just past the Pacific View Mall, is housed in an historic motel front. Outdoor seating. Handmade ice cream with no preservatives/additives. They even have dairy free! My personal favorite is lemon marionberry, but I haven't met a flavor I didn't like!

kind of disappointed in this location. I haven't been here in a few years and it was not how I remembered. when we walked in it smelled like a bathroom. the store could have been cleaner and the staff wasn't prepared with the ice cream toppings. the ice cream was yummy but maybe not worth the price and experience at this location.

This is the only family owned McConnells and they do not offer any good things that the regular McConnells do. Will not come here again.
