This was our first time there. The place is nice and so was the staff. Our waitress was very good. They give you hot bread when you sit down. I had spaghetti and meatballs. It was good and I loved the meatballs. You get 2 good size ones. My boyfriend had the linguine with white clam sauce. He enjoyed it! We will definitely be going back there again!! Thanks!! Cathy

Can't say enough about this place. Past this on 36 over 100 times and didnt even know it was open. The place is fabulous. The food is excellent & the service is outstanding. This will be our go to place Absolutely love it !!!!!!!!!

Alright. I thought I knew pizza until I ate at Lubrano’s. The Chef will create WHATEVER you want. There isn’t a technical pizza menu, you just tell him what you want and he will create it. We were NOT disappointed. Also, the calamari was top notch, best I’ve had thus far in my life. My husband raved it was the best bbq chicken pizza he’d ever had, and my Neapolitan was the best I’ve ever had. Service was so sweet and attentive. Also interesting fact, they don’t serve alcohol, you bring your own. Upon learning this fact my husband went to the store nearby and picked up what we were feeling which is actually a really cool experience and made our bill so much cheaper and our waitress brought us an ice bucket for our bevies. 100% recommend, go there! Eat the pizza!!

Great meal at Lubranos! Calamari app was very good. Chicken parm and eggplant parm with vodka sauce were excellent! Our waitress Ashley was very attentative as well. We live very close and will definitely be back.

This was the second time we tried to eat here, due to staffing shortage we were unable to get a table the first time. It is BYOB here. The appetizer and dinner was delicious.

Hidden Italian Gem. Delicious Quality food that is comparable to nearby upscale Italian restaurant. The portion sizes were midrange; enough to satisfy your hunger, but you probably won't need a box. Our party of 6 each ordered a different entree and all were in agreement that the food was homemade, prepared fresh, and cooked very well. The price was very reasonable. The atmosphere is cozy as it is a fairly small restuarant. We made reservations, which is highly recommended! We ate upstairs which was very roomy yet intimate. The atmosphere is relaxed and all staff seemed friendly and professional. The general attire seems to be business casual. Wait staff all wear black. The restuarant was very clean as was the restrooms. Our server offered us about 5 different dinner specials. They all sounded really good, but I ordered off of the menu. The menu is simple and consists of 10-12 traditional Italian entrees, a standard selection of personal pizzas, a fantastic looking salad selection, and a modest selection of hot appetizers. We decided on the fried calamari, which was fresh and delicious with a nice sized portion for the 3 people who ate it. We also ordered the Vegetable Pomodora which was different then expected. The menu described various vegetables, pancetta, and Parmigiano-Reggiano. We were expecting an antipasto, but it's actually a small plate of vegetable parmigiana covered with Pomodora sauce. It tasted fine, but was not suitable for 6 people to share. Luckily, the restuarant serves complimentary bread and oil which was absolutely delicious. I will definitely eat here again. I want to try one of their salads as well as the pizza. I'm looking forward to eating at Lubrano's again very soon!

Went here with a friend to get some good Italian food while visiting family. Service was great, our server Stephanie did an amazing job. I ordered the Penne Vodka and my friend got the Chicken Parmigiana. Both were delicious. Will be visiting again when I'm in town.

Nice BYOB Italian restaurant on Route 36 in Middletown New Jersey(Keansberg Area). Small menu with daily specials and friendly and helpful waitresses. Menu doesn’t show pizza as a dine in dinner option but, on request they will make you a 10” personal pizza to your liking! I’ll be back to try other dishes!!!!

Slow service, large parties and take out services take priority. You will wait if only a couple. Food was decent but waiting almost 40 minutes is too much

We stopped in for dinner based on the amazing reviews. I must say I was underwhelmed with this establishment. The place was in need of a paint job and seemed pretty dingy. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Service was excellent. My wife had the Chicken Marsala. The chicken was quite good, very tender. The only thing missing was the Marsala. The herbs coating the chicken was overpowering, and we could not really taste the Marsala. I had the shrimp francaise, which was delicious. It was served with a cheese risotto, which was tasty, but was sitting in the francaise sauce. It would have been ok for pasta, but not for the risotto. I felt the ambiance was lacking and the food could have been better, especially for the price.
