Tasty food and nice atmosphere. The prosciutto and barata appetizer was delicious and the sliced sirloin was perfect. The staff were also friendly and knowledgeable.

I attended a baby shower at the wine bar. It's very classy. Everyone enjoyed their food. The staff was excellent.

The Wine Bar and Restaurant is absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is great. The food is delicious, especially the scallops with risotto! It's a definite must go.

Was recently at a private party here for the holidays. Apps and food were great. The bartenders were very friendly.

Crashed a private event and it was just my style. Might be stuffy in comparison to the bar around the corner, but otherwise seems like first class classical music and comfy couches for a celebratory drink. Can't comment on the food. Bartender was nice about walking in to the event.

We had a wonderful experience at the Wine Bar with Courtney and her staff. We had around 50 people for a special birthday celebration and everything was wonderful.

I had a wonderful time there. Sitting with a group of friends on the couch grouping was comfortable and good for conversation. The menu here had some interesting options, everyone enjoyed theirs. The staff is attentive. Of course, there is a great selection of wines, and martini drinkers have a unique selection to please their palates as well. The dining area offers amazing cuisine “soup to nuts”. Love this place. I’m going back.

I can't say enough about the Wine Bar! We had our rehearsal dinner there and everyone is still amazed at how good the food was and what a cool place it was! The staff was so thoughtful and caring. They even helped us pick out a wine to enjoy on our 5 year anniversary. We can't wait to go back to celebrate special occasions and relive our special night with our great friends and family.

I recently had drinks and dined at The Wine Bar for a celebratory work outing and was extremely impressed. Starting with being graciously welcomed by the owner, Courtney, and then being attended to by the bartender, Jake, who recommended a fabulous Red wine to start the evening. The decor and atmosphere was warm and welcoming the service was as good as could be expected and the food was amazing! You must try the bacon wrapped dates! Our server, Katie, catered to our every need and Courtney, the owner, checked in on us twice. If you happen to be in or around the Atlantic Highlands in Monmouth county, The Wine Bar is a definite must try! Thank you Courtney, Jake, and Katie for a Wonderful meal, evening, and experience!

We've been to The Wine Bar on multiple occasions for a couples dinner and either hosting or attending very special celebrations. The overall venue, event planning, food quality & options, service was exception, perfect, and much appreciated. All of which, reasonably priced! As soon as one enters The Wine Bar, there's a feeling he/she is patronizing an exclusive NYC venue relative to the settings of a high end lounge, comfortable and lively atmosphere and decor, to the fine dining service area. A number of my guests attending one of my hosted events returned on their own for couple dinners and affairs they've hosted! Very likely when you visit the Wine Bar the first time, you'll return multiple times in the future!

We had my grandmothers repass here at the Wine Bar. We had the entire floor to ourselves. It was beautiful! The planning was very last minute but they took care of everything and were so considerate during a very difficult time. The waitresses were wonderful and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back!

I really love coming here with my husband for date night. The food and drinks are really nice. There's not many places in AH with 'elevated' dining. Everything is seafood, pizza, or red sauce Italian so it's nice to have something different! A really nice place to take a date.

The lounge singer was amazing. Wow. He had some pipes and looked like a young, skinny Frank Sinatra! Food was amazing. We had the sea bass, sesame seared tuna and rack of lamb. The soba noodles with the sesame seared tuna had just a touch too much soy sauce, but the noodles were cooked perfectly. Recommend for any parents looking for a date night. Super romantic.

One of my favorite "adult" spots. I love how the bar is surrounded by comfy upholstered couches and chairs, very chic. Many times there is live jazz, which is very cool. The bartenders are very attentive and the servers are excellent. Feels like a night in NYC, nestled in Atlantic Highlands.

beautiful, well appointed, just the right kind of moody. Was there for an event and loved the atmosphere. Food was pretty good. Parking can get a little hairy, but there are a few municipal lots close by.

Two very talented Jazz guitarists played last night and were totally amazing. One was named Nick Esposito and the other went by "The Legendary Eddie Soles". Good food and drinks and great music. We will be back!!!

Food is always good, pleasant staff and great atmosphere. My best friend had her wedding ceremony here and it was a wonderful experience. I know she would agree.

This restaurant is a classy place. There was a piano playing in the background. The design and style of the place was elegant with an intimate setting. It's a must go! The food is fantastic.

The wine bar it's a great spot for just grabbing a drink or for date night. Over the years I have found the food to be quite good, however, my last visit a few months ago was a little underwhelming.

It was a private party so it was a choice of three entries and everyone seemed to enjoy their choices. I would love to return for their regular menu.

Wait staff and wine selection was very good. Food choices were excellent but food came out cold, which was odd considering it was only moderately busy on a Thursday night in winter. Aside from the chilly food the atmosphere was superb!

I was there for a wedding, place was beautiful, most staff was very friendly and accomodating but one young man who was bartending did not seem ti belong in a customer service role, not very friendly.

The food decent--not great, not bad--but on a Friday night, it was dead. My wife and I had desert while they were cleaning. The waitress did her best though.

Went here for a family party, the atmosphere and open bar was nice. The food on the other hand was a huge disappointment. I'd say the taste and quality was a 4 but I've never seen such small portions. The salmon was maybe 3 bites I'd say it was a 2 oz slice, even the salad appetizer was skimpy not joking maybe 9 pieces of lettuce. The family went out to eat at another place after because we all left starving. Felt bad for the family member that paid for the catering because it was a rip off.

First impression when you walk in and it was Valentine's day around 6 PM, plenty of windows to look out of, the music made me feel like I was in 1945 NYC which was totally cool, beautiful room very classy. We got seated our waitress was awesome ordered drinks, ordered our meal but then our waitress dissapeared. But not her fault I know something about running a bar. There was no floor manager present at all? A busy day and the staff was doing their best but understaffed. Whomever owns this needs to put experienced support in place. The food was a bit over priced, good but not great. So sad. I would not go back. I hope the owner reads this and responds. A magnificent effort that just needs better management.

My food was not flavorful and I won’t return for a meal. Drinks are the better option.

Friendly kids tending the tables but lacking on service skills and the food was a total disappointment we would have been better off getting a Macdonald’s burger. We had fish and chips and our poor livers took a hit; very poor quality food. Edit update: Added pic of the place exactly where we sat outside by the street because I got an email refuting it was the correct place. You don’t get to delete poor reviews just because you want to. Own up and change things. The food was very expensive and awful and service was poor due to young waiters lacking skills.

The manager came to the table right after our food was delivered and requested that I remove my hat! What? Why not tell me when I sat down? Or when I walked in the door? Poor management if you ask me. Stupid! The rest of the place was fine and the food was good...

Nice place, good food but poor customer service. The price up front sounds reasonable but the unexpected add ons was unforeseen. When we asked for a discount due to no air conditioning in 85 degree weather, things were mentioned that she had already waved fees. NOT! A contract was sent to us unsigned by us. $100 was discounted. I suggest you make sure you watch the bar bill, dessert fees and clean up fees before deciding to schedule your event at this venue.

Would Not recommend for a party! Went to a Baby Shower here. A/C didn't work well, it was 98 degrees out and Humid. Took forever for food to come out. Some Workers had attitudes, probably cause of the heat. Coffee was ice cold. Shower started at 12 noon. Salads were served close to 1 and meal after 2pm. Then they rushed the mom to be thru gifts and desert because they booked a party right after. Almost half the guests left early because it was so humid in the room. The rest of the guests fanned themselves thru the Super Fast gift n dessert portion. Wonderful Family and Mama to be that deserved much better!!

Wish they would have posted on their website that they were only open for private parties on a Friday evening before we drove 25 mins out of our way for no reason. Won’t try and go back.

Don't go there hungry! Exceptionally poor service. We sat for 20 minutes before our drink order was taken and the place wasn't that busy; regardless, our server offered no apology. In fact, we watched our server and the sad excuse for a manager set an empty table while we and another table of patrons waited to place our orders. Management never confirmed our reservation on Open Table and ignored us at coat check on our way out, as she flirted with some guy over cocktails at the bar. The food was amazing and the ambiance beautiful. The owner(s) put a lot into making it a great restaurant but the kitchen can only carry this place for so long. Don't bother spending upwards of $100 per guest here when there are a plethora of wonderful fine dining options in a 15 miles radius. Also, the dress code does not apply; majority of diners were in jeans. *** Thank you, Wine Bar for responding so quickly. The evening I am referring to was Saturday, 2/16/19.

We researched this place and thought it looked fun, so yesterday (8/31) I called the restaurant just to ask if they took reservations. The woman who answered literally just said "No." and nothing else before hanging up on me. I am very disappointed because my wife and I were planning on having our second anniversary dinner here and also purchase a gift certificate for friends who just had a baby. I guess I won't be doing either with service like that.

There were 6 of us for dinner. Three of us got sick that night. Called the restaurant to give them a "heads up." The restaurant's spokesperson was very defensive. Said it couldn't be our dinner and insisted that it takes at least takes 48 hours after eating something before food poisoning occurs. I believe that she's mistaken. According to the Mayo Clinic, "Food poisoning symptoms, which can start within hours of eating contaminated food, often include nausea, vomiting or diarrhea." That perfectly describes what happened to us. Note, the three of us didn't eat the same thing. Our three friends who didn't get sick also didn't eat what we ate. I suspect poor food handling.
