We went on a Tuesday morning, we were seated right away after showing our vaccination cards. I ordered the dungeness crab Benedict and requested the spicy hollandaise sauce and my husband ordered the dungeness crab omelette. I don't normally order crab for any breakfast or crab at a restaurant in general but I heard great things about theirs so I ordered it and it did not disappoint. We've been here before and I always order the chai latte always on point.
Food was very good, eggs were cooked perfectly and the potatoes were great, owner was amazing! She was very kind and checked on us often, she also gave us a bottle of wine on the house on our way out! Will definitely be back!
I recently had the pleasure of enjoying brunch at Heavenly Bistro, and the crab and smoked salmon Benedict was absolutely outstanding. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the seafood tasted incredibly fresh. What made the experience even more memorable was the warm and inviting atmosphere. Tammy, the owner, stopped by our table to chat, adding a special and personal touch that made us feel right at home. We also enjoyed some delicious Bloody Maria’s from their full bar, which perfectly complemented the meal. Heavenly Bistro is a true gem in Walnut Creek, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking for a fantastic brunch spot!
Absolutely loved our brunch experience here! The Egg Benedict was incredibly delicious, fresh, and came in a generous portion. Everything tasted just right. The service was fantastic — our food arrived very quickly, the staff kept refilling our coffee without us even having to ask, and everyone was super friendly and kind. It’s definitely a place I’d come back to and recommend to anyone looking for a satisfying and well-served brunch!
I drive all the way from SF to eat here. Cozy place with the best benedicts and amazing service. The owner always goes out of her way to treat us well
This is my breakfast go-to! The staff is so friendly and the food is ALWAYS good!! Great breakfast spot with a full bar! If it's a boozy brunch or a boozy lunch, this is the place to be. They have all the classic diner food but I recommend the loco moco. The mushroom gravy 🤤..... Go here and ask for the owner Tammy, she's the BEST!
Great place for brunch! Food is always awesome, drinks are always on point! And the staff is great! Fantastic little family run joint! It's a wonderful place to be a regular.
Is our first time here and we loved it!!! It was so good we forgot to take a picture Our ordered buttermilk pancakes Breakfast burritos Angus burger Side smoke salmon : -buttermilk pancake is butter as i expected and my son was give me a chef kiss at the end so 10/10 - Breakfast burritos so so good.it comes with small salsa and is so flavorful - Angus burger is really big potion.my husband is a chef and he said is really good quality of meat right here and how they cook it so juicy. All the staff were really attentive and so nice. The restaurant is so clean. If you come on the weekend you might have to wait a bit longer because they’re so busy. The price is reasonable. All of that only $61 Definitely come back for sure ❤️
Hip family Cosi restaurant go as you are casual. Food is great enough to take home. Drinks are unbelievable. So happy that I found this little heavenly cozy nest. This is for everybody all ages. Take your family take your parents or take the one that you care about. Wheelchair accessible. Parking. Need to wear a mask upon entry. Depending upon the weather they may or may not ask you for your inoculation. Nowadays who knows!?? Great place to stop and have cocktails. Huge bar They close at 3 o clock so if your party starts at after 3 you're too late haha. Enjoy highly recommended🥂🍽☕🍡🥗🍔🥪🥓🥞🍳🧇🥞🥯🍷🥞🍳🍻🍺🍹🍸🍽
My first time here. We were a party of 12 and had a reservation for a 10:30 Mother's Day brunch. The place was hopping lots of people waiting outside to get in. It took a while to get seated, but once we were, everything went smoothly. The servers were swamped, but considering how busy they were, they did a great job. The food was delicious. I would definitely go back again.
An awesome little bistro excellent food good prices parking is challenging. Once you find a parking spot it’s a nice place that you can leisurely enjoy breakfast or lunch at your own pace. Highly recommended
Heavenly Bistro has been a reliable favorite for breakfast for quite some time. The food is consistently excellent, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Parking can be a bit of a challenge on weekends, so be prepared to find a spot on the street—but it’s absolutely worth it. Their breakfast potatoes are some of the best I’ve ever had—crispy on the outside, soft and perfectly cooked on the inside, and seasoned just right. The portion sizes are generous, so you’ll definitely leave satisfied. The staff are always sweet and welcoming, which adds to the overall good vibe of the place. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, their cinnamon rolls and pastries are excellent. And don’t miss the chai latte—it’s fantastic. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, Heavenly Bistro is a great spot to start your day.
Lovely atmosphere, very friendly personnel, cozy interior and wide menu of breakfast options. Will return again 👍 and guys… the size of these dishes is something ✊
Once in a while i like to have a weekend breakfast out. Home made breakfast is my weekend highlight as i don’t like to wait 45 minutes to seat and have fried eggs. But i have to say this was worth it. First of all we walked in and were seated right a way, so getting here at 9am on Saturday was a good decision. The egg Benedict comes with three eggs perfectly cooked. The crab omelet was delicious. The waffle combo was very good but i with for the price of $16.99 it came with potatoes. I had to order them as a side making my breakfast 24 dollars. Other than that, great atmosphere, quick service. Overall excellent service.
We had a late breakfast/lunch here. Food was great, service was excellent and fun, and the atmosphere was delightful. They kept the doors open to let a light breeze come through. The Matcha and Taro Latte are amazing! My only complaint would be that parking was scarce. We had to circle around once to land a parking slot. Other than parking, it was a really good spot for a family breakfast.
We're at Walnut Creek for my wife's orthopedic checkup and found a good pocket of time to try out a new brunch place since we haven't had breakfast/lunch yet. We found this gem at nestled in a small plaza right next to an apartment complex. Parking was a bit tight, but we found the place charming. Their menu is surprisingly varied with multiple options to choose from. My wife fancied a burger she saw a fellow diner was having, so she opted for that while I went for their Loco moco (surprise option). Their burger was great as my wife enjoyed it thoroughly, and I was pleasantly surprised by the slight tang on the gravy they used for my dish. Their service was great and prompt as we didn't wait that long to be served our food. We're definitely coming back to this place next time my wife has a follow-up on her orthopedic doctor. I definitely recommend this place 👌
We visited for the first time today and had a wonderful experience! The service was warm and welcoming, and the food was packed with flavor. On our server's recommendation, we tried the bistro benedicts and huevos rancheros, and both dishes were fantastic. We also ordered some buttermilk pancakes on the side for our toddler, which were good. The prices were affordable, much better than most places in the area. The only small issue was that our table was a bit wobbly, which, of course, our toddler found entertaining 😅. Aside from that, everything was perfect, and we’ll definitely be returning!
I've been trying to get into this place off and on for a few years. The parking is usually a challenge. Today was the day, found a spot, and got a table right away. The service was quick and friendly. I had the crab Benedict, and my daughter had the Crapes with berries. Both were delicious. Can't wait to return.
Stepping into Heavenly Bistro is like stepping into a warm hug. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and sizzling country potatoes heavy in the air, instantly whetting your appetite. As a food enthusiast and occasional critic, I can confidently say this place scores high on both comfort and flavor. Their breakfast menu is a celebration of all things delicious. While I tend towards savory options, the California Omelette here is a masterpiece. Packed with fluffy scrambled farm eggs, served with country potatoes and your choice of whole wheat, sourdough or rye toast, creamy avocado, and melty cheese, it's a flavor explosion in every bite. The classic eggs Benedict strike the perfect balance between rich hollandaise, perfectly cooked Canadian salmon, and a delightful English muffin. But don't miss the Heavenly Crepes - they're a must-have! Light and airy crepes are the perfect canvas for a variety of fillings, fresh mixed berries, raspberry sauce and whipped cream, both sweet and savory. No matter your preference, Heavenly Bistro offers a delightful breakfast or lunch experience that will leave you feeling happy and satisfied.
Great place to have a meal. Great eggs Benedict. The food is fresh and home made. Had the opportunity to meet the owners and enjoyed good conversation. Wonderful people. Staff are friendly and warm. The cook was on it! And I had the pleasure to meet him and thank him personally for the great breakfast. You can't go wrong on any meal you order.. We will definitely be back on our return trip!
During the Pandemic we were Driving through the area looking into many breakfast spots on Maps. This one was comfortable, very clean, provided excellent friendly service and food. Outside seating is available right now. Indoor was an option as well and they had the tables very well spaced. Thanks Benedict was delicious as are their potatoes. Many great options on the menu. The Cafe latte was also very good.

Fantastic breakfast/brunch/lunch place. Very cozy, great staff, and incredible food! The breakfast potatoes were perfectly seasoned and very good.

The food was delicious, Rosa's attention was excellent, she asked if everything was fine and she offered more coffee but we didn't like Gigi's aptitude or something like that I understood her name, her customer service was very poor, that's why only four stars, My husband and I like to enjoy both, food and the environment that a person can generate. For Rosa's aptitude we are invited to return but we hope and I believe all clients expect to be treated in a friendly way.
Got breakfast on a Sunday afternoon just before 2PM, so happy they still did breakfast with only an hour until closing time. I got the Bistro Bendict, which is very good with the spicy hollandaise. The coffee is very good here; some places don't have good coffee, but this place does. Parking can be difficult, but I walked from my place. The Bistro is very accessible from the BART station. I saw lots of to go orders on this rainy Sunday. Very well staffed and nobody had to wait more than a minute to get a table, but it was the afternoon too. Check out my picts.
Went on a Saturday for brunch and it was about a 25 minute wait. The food wasn’t that special but decent. I had the eggs Benedict my muffin was actually I think just a piece of white bread? Not worth the wait but a good time with a close friend. The mimosa was strong! I’d say 95% Champagne with a splash of orange juice! Small bar scene too.
So glad we stumbled on this restaurant we originally traveled 35 minutes to go to Sunshine Cafe but it was closed 🤬 but on the website said it was open but that's a different review on Sunshine cafe in Pleasant Hill. We totally enjoyed ourselves at Heavenly Bistro in Pleasant Hill. Very spacious, service was excellent our waitress was absolutely fantastic she was very friendly and attentive. Great menu so much to choose from. We ordered waffles, eggs and bacon and the mixed berry's crepe. My husband ordered the crepes (I am not a crepe kind of girl but honey I would definitely eat the crepes here they were delicious). The waffle, eggs and bacon were great also. We also had Mocha Latte that was great and a strawberry mimosas it was ok. If your looking for nice size portions and good tasting brunch stop by Heavenly Bistro.
The food was pretty good, although this is the 1st place that I've seen with a French toast combo with only 1 slice of bread. You had to order a side of French toast to hey another slice. The food was very tasty, but the bacon was overcooked and very greasy.
After looking at a few reviews the wife, brother in law, sister and law, and nieces settled on this place for brunch. It was a busy day so I put my name on the wait list, and we were sat about 20-30 min later. For drinks the ladies had peach bellinis which they enjoyed, the brother in law had a mimosa which he downed so it had to be good, and I had a Johnny sunrise, which was pretty good. The co-owner, Tammy, who sat us, also brought us cinnamon rolls and coffee cake for the table, free of charge. For food the wife ordered the California omelet which she didn't like because it had chicken in it and she didn't realize that's how it came prepared. The sister in law had the bistro benedict which she thought was pretty good, the brother in law had the veggie benedict which he loved, the nieces had pancakes and bacon which they enjoyed but couldn't finish, and I ordered the chocolate chip pancakes. The chocolate chips were on top, but they were pretty good. Tammy is the best. She kept coming by chatting w/us and topping off the drinks at the table. She also brought me another drink w/o me asking. Very personable and nice. Parking is pretty scarce if it's crowded, but it's a cool place w/good food and great staff. Would definitely recommend.
Fresh and perfectly fine. We did order a yogurt but only got the toppings, ha. Overall it was good and I’d go back.
Very popular local breakfast & brunch place! Delicious dishes, I was pleasantly surprised how yummy their potatoes were (and I don’t even eat much potatoes). Be ready to wait in line if you’re here later in the morning. Highly recommend any of their Benedict’s.

Food was decent ... nothing special about the eggs Benedict. Simple presentation. Portions ok. Served me regular sausage instead of chicken sausage I'd requested. Somewhat disappointed based on prior Google reviews. Service was attentive yet somewhat unprofessional. My "15 minute wait" was 40 minutes and they keep a waitlist on a notepad, where later arrivals wrote their name before mine.
Went for breakfast, easy 3 star. Steak tasted funny and was burnt. Potatoes and eggs were good, coffee was good, pancakes were ok. Service was lackluster. They also shove a tablet basically in your face and watch you tip.
We recently visited Heavenly Bistro, a diner with decent food but disappointing service. The hamburger I ordered was delicious, and salmon egg Benedict overall was okay. However, the service was terrible. The server wasn’t engaged, didn’t greet us, and never checked on us during our meal. Unfortunately, because of the poor service and the fact that they close at 2 PM, We probably won’t be returning. It’s a shame because the food had potential, but the experience just wasn’t great.

From the time we’ve always wanted to check this place out, it appeared to be just a check point on the list of visited places. The waitlist was over 30 mins to get in and once we did, it took about 10-15 mins for someone just to take an order with about 10 servers cruising the floor. Thank Chelsey for coming for rescue first time. Bathroom slightly messy and missing soup and towels. Really, it’s 10:30 AM?! You are open just one and a half hours. Back to the table and finally breakfast served. From the ordered salmon Benedict we could hardly find salmon there. Although country style potatoes were perfectly cooked. Heavenly Crêpes were overfilled with whipped cream which made it hard to taste the berries. Another challenge we faced was to get a decaf refilled. Thank Chelsey we finally got it even in the new mug. On the feedback to our server on “how much we miss him” we were told that he is extremely busy “pointlessly running different directions” and got the bill with no offering anything else. Overall, the site has been checked. To come back - may be not.
We have gone here twice over the last two months. Most recent visit was about two weeks ago. We were seated at this odd little table next to the bar. It felt like what used to be a waiting area for those waiting for a table. There was an odd box of alcohol next to us. Picture included. Went by the restaurant just a few days ago- box was still sitting there. They don’t have clear zoning for servers. We were asked by maybe five different servers and ten times total if we were ready to give our order. We finally order our food. It comes out a short bit later. Our food was cold. We called a male server over to tell him. His response was “Well. We cooked it.” And then he just stared at us. Never apologized or offered to do anything. My wife asked him to please bring her out another plate with warm food. I kept mine because I was over the whole experience. They did bring her out a plate of warm food. Breakfast food is fine. I had the hamburger the visit before. Tasted like a frozen burger from the freezer. Nothing tastes like it’s made fresh. Prices are too high if that’s the case. I don’t have intentions of going back. Especially after this last round of truly awful service. Too bad. It’s one of the only places we can walk to.
I had high hopes for this place due to the google reviews. My food was just okay. My mother had an egg Benedict which looked delicious and the potatoes were very good as well. I appreciate that the food came out fast. The reason for 2 stars is because staff was inattentive and unfriendly. My table sat near the cash register and the where the coffee is. Although many of the staff walked by our table, our coffee cups were never filled. I watched how attentive and friendly the staff was to other people eating, I just wish we received the same treatment. When asked for the check, it took a very long time for her to bring it. Since it took her a long time to come and get it we opted to leave cash just so we could leave. I wouldn't come back here.

I'm disappointed every time I come here but this last time was my last time ever going. I ordered a sausage breakfast burrito to go for almost TWENTY dollars and I got a burrito that had almost no sausage and was mostly potatoes with a side of MORE potatoes. Talk about price gouging for the cheapest ingredients a restaurant can buy. UPDATE: went from 3 stars down to 1 because of how the employees handled the situation. I drove back to return the food and get a refund. The guy came up to me and opened up my order and started digging his hands through it ignoring me when I asked if the manager I just spoke to on the phone was here. I asked 2 more times before he answered me. He said the manager is not here and grabbed the woman he told me was the manager on the phone. She came over and told me she wasn't the manager. I asked when they will be back so I can speak to them. She said she has no idea so I asked if she could have them give me a call later but she picked up my order, walked away and said we will void your payment and to have a nice day then dissappeared into the kitchen. I asked the guy that was still there if I can get a receipt for that voided payment and he looked straight at me then turned around and walked away ignoring me. I finally got them to void my payment and give me the receipt after literally teaching them myself how to look up the receipt on TOAST because he didn't know how to do it. This entire thing could have been avoided with a simple "I'm sorry we didn't meet your expectations. Here is your voided payment because you brought ALL the food back"
We ate there today and I became terribly sick. I called to help warn them so others wouldn't become ill. The waitress was very nice but the person I I talked to was defensive -- she couldn't have cared less. There are many fine restaurants in Walnut Creek. I suggest you stay away from this one because they obviously have no concern for the safety of their customers.
Went to this place because of the Google reviews ,very disappointed about the experience and the food Started OK then we were asked to take any open table and we did When I was ordering food I asked a simple question about what options I had with my combo I was ordering , no answer about options only this in a not friendly way : READ ,READ About them OK! Sorry for asking ! I decided to let that go and continue and forget about it , my wife ordered a beef soup and arrived look good ,first Scoop and found a hair on the soup Oh no ! I was thinking maybe bad luck on us , we put the soup aside And waited for our main 2 breakfast dishes Arrived fast , looked good but not tasted good Seasoned potatoes super salty My wife did not finish but one quarter of the food , on my dish very simple breakfast dish Eggs one small sausage and two slices of beacon no good flavor On scramble eggs ,meat sausage and beacon tasted old and frozen This place definitely is way overrated for sure ,it is not one star either, I am rating our experience At this time , maybe we just had not good luck there at this time ,but there will not be a second chance since we will never be back or recommend to anyone else Bad attitude, not friendly and no good or fresh tasting food Not a great combination Not worthy for the price Even bad food taste better with good customer service !
