Opinions de Bosque Cantina Walnut Springs
Loved everything about our experience here! Worth the drive to Walnut Springs. The queso and salsa were great starters. Queso was creamy and hot, and the salsa had just the right kick. We ordered the fajitas parrilladas, and they did not disappoint. Plenty of food for two (we even had some leftovers to take home). The jalapeño cheese sausage and beef were exceptional. The shrimp and chicken were cooked just right, and the onions & peppers were tender and full of flavor. Our fabulous server, Ivanna, suggested the tres leches for dessert, and it was aaaahhhhmazing. The fresh whipped cream was not too sweet, and it paired perfectly with the rich cake and caramel swirl. The simplicity of the decor made for a more upscale dining feel while the hospitality of the staff made us feel like long-lost friends. We will definitely take another road trip to Walnut Springs just to try more of the menu.
Oh my God this is my first time here and the food was so amazing. It was the best meal I’ve had in a while. Out server Sam was on point ! Such great service
Fajitas were awesome. It's a little out there in the middle of nowhere but worth the drive.
Food was great I got fajita enchiladas beef and my coworkers go chicken it was awesome i have been all over eating Mexican food. Hands down Top 5 for me for sure been a while since I had food that good like that.
Great set up in Walnut! Wagyu burger was delicious. Awesome service at the bar! Thank Sawyer! Give this place a try folks.
Went with my husband for brunch. I had French toast and he had steak and eggs. Everything cooked beautifully and we had a delicious dessert.

Me and my wife went since Graham Elliot from Master Chef was there doing a book promo. Was a little disappointed that he wasn't cooking like we thought, but what little disappointment I had was quickly eliminated once I tried their food. Its hard to find good Tex Mex in this region of Texas, but they nailed it! We sat in the bar area and it was awesome. Great classic rock music playing and college football on the TV. I had the beef fajitas and wife had the fish tacos. Both were excellent! Beef was very tender and seasoned well, tortillas were fresh, and beans and rice were equally as good. Also came with pico, sour cream, and guacamole. Tried the fish from my wife's meal and it was just as great. We also had their house frozen margaritas and you could tell they use quality ingredients and no crappy cheap mixer. We also had an order of their queso which we also loved. The staff were all awesome as well. From being greeted upon entry and when we were leaving to our waitress who couldn't have done a better job. 5 stars! Will make the 30 minute drive to return!
Pleasant surprise in a small town. I'm from a small town and was not expecting this. The facility is clean and well appointed. The service is very personal. And best of all, the food is terrific. I highly recommend the fish tacos, and my wife said the taco salad is extraordinary.
This is a nice clean country type atmosphere. Small town and friendly staff. I had a taco salad and my wife had chicken enchiladas. Very tasty and generous proportions. Our waitress was very good. Sweet and funny young woman named Cambree. She did an excellent job. We will definitely be back.
The ribeye carne asada was excellent! I love how the chef comes out and checks on the food that was to served to you. Very nice. My only gripe, YOU'RE IN TEXAS MR. WOLF. GET SOME DANG SALSA THAT DOESN'T TASTE LIKE PACE PICANTE LEFT OVER FROM THE 90'S. But the queso was killer!! Loved it.
We came by and ate lunch here on Friday and had a wonderful experience the food. The ribeye steak was incredible. The atmosphere clean and fresh and energy everywhere. Service was fantastic. Great conversation very knowledgeable staff make sure you stop in here when you go through Walnut Springs.
I have traveled the world, Cuba, China, Europe, all over the U.S., and I have never had such good Mexican Cuisine as what was served at Bosque Cantina. I am grateful I had experienced the Chef de Cuisine Juan Garcia's amazing Steak Tenderloin, Quesadillas, and Taco Salad. Thank you so much Bosque for this amazing Cantina experience!
My family and I greatly enjoyed our lunch at Bosque Cantina today. The food was delicious and came quickly after we ordered. Trinity was our server and was wonderful. She was very attentive to us and came back multiple times to check on us. We do not live near Bosque Cantina but will definitely make the drive back.
Super fun and accommodating staff! I walked in and the hostest was so friendly I had to ask myself how I might have known her previously! She even made me a specialty drink when I didn't know what I wanted! The food was pricier than I expected but it was really good!
My wife and I live near whitney and this is our 3rd time at your wonderful establishment. We were greeted by management and seated right away. I seen that they offer specialty cocktails and spoke with Sawyer our waiter and head bartender and put a twist on the drink. He did not bat an eye and took care of it immediately. They really care about your experience and it shows with great staff focusing on a good experience. I give them 5 stars 🌟 across the board for a small town they had big presence. The food was amazing!! The drinks were spot on and the service was dead pan!! We can't wait for another date night.
Food is well prepared and their drinks are great. The service is first rate. Great place!
Absolutely fantastic! The breakfast is the best! However, I've never had a mediocre meal here.

Manager Constance and Server Sophia, gave exceptional service! So friendly, so fun! IMO the place should have been a packed house. Shrimp cocktail, guacamole and fish tacos were the best, thanks y’all! We shall return!

Order the meat platter for two, you will have plenty of gluten-free goodness to go home afterwards. Only the shrimp were overcooked, the rest was perfected.
When in this little town of Walnut Springs, this is THE best place in the whole county to catch great TexMex. Strong margs too (this would be a good thing)!
Well above average Southwest style Mexican food. We like the drive from Granbury, but it was about 40 minutes with no traffic to Walnut Springs.

I really loved the food and service was good however we will not be able to come back with my mother again. She has a heart condition and a registered service dog. We were asked to sit outside in the heat because of the service dog even though the restaurant was basically empty and the patio is right next to their dumpster. Needless to say we had a serious issue with flies. Such a disappointment as we have heard such great things about this place. I don't blame the young man who sat us as I'm sure this is a misguided company policy.
