Opinions de Rías Baixas West Palm Beach
Lots of good things to say about Fern. The location is a former art gallery. The restaurant has maintained some of that vibe by displaying works of art from local artists. Beautiful works. Now for the food... everything was outstanding. Burrata made in house, burnt end pork belly...to die for. Sword fish served over "forbidden rice" and an incredible pork chop with onion apricot couli with asparagus and fingerling potatoes. Dessert... chocolate covered fried banana with homemade pistachio ice cream. OMG. They have an incredible selection of p time steaks as well. Service was excellent, servers were extremely polite and knowledgeable. We talked with the general manager on our way out and he gave us the full story about the restaurant and it's farm where they raise all of the beef they serve. Prepare to pay top dollar but you won't be sorry.
Wow, wow, wow!! Heard about fern on social media and it looked unbelievable, well do yourself a favor and run don’t walk to this literal farm to table gem. Unbelievable meal, zucchini blossoms are not to be missed, crudo in coconut milk mmmmmm, and swordfish with forbidden rice in a light lobster bisque…stop yourself!! This place is 10 stars, a 14 out of 10, and the best was Isabella who walked me through this culinary journey step by step, thank you! And a shout out to the General Manager Cody Troynack for the stop by, a true gentleman. I’ll be back soon.
Absolutely fantastic! If you like farm to table, this is definitely the place to go! Bojana was a wonderful server. She pointed us in the direction of some fantastic food! I had a drink called broom Hilda’s bees. Be prepared for a little bit of a kick as far as heat. But an awesome drink that has anti-inflammatory ingredients in it. So good that I got all of the exact ingredients and will be making this drink at home! We had the burnt ends appetizer. For the main course, my wife had the Pichana and I had the short rib. Everything we had was fantastic and the GM stopped and talked with us for about 15 minutes when we were done. Would highly recommend give them a try. Really cool artwork around the place as well. You will not be disappointed!
I had an incredible experience at Fern for my birthday, and a huge part of that was thanks to Isabella. She’s one of those rare servers who just gets it. Warm, attentive, & effortlessly on top of everything without ever hovering. She read the table perfectly.. knew when to check in, when to give space, and made the entire meal feel relaxed and elevated at the same time. The food itself was phenomenal — some of the dishes we ordered were the Florida cracker Ribeye, the Filet, Pork Burnt Ends, the Burrata, & the Key lime pie. Her timing was flawless, her recommendations were spot-on, & she carried herself with the kind of calm confidence that instantly makes you feel taken care of. You can tell she genuinely cares about the guest experience, & that level of service is hard to come by these days.To top it off, Isabella also arranged for a special snapper meal to be prepared just for our dogs. That level of kindness and attention is something you simply don’t see often & it made the night unforgettable. If you go to Fern, ask for Isabella. She’s the kind of server who turns a good dinner into a great night. Highly recommend!!
The food at Fern is divine! The squash blossoms are my absolute favorite. The staff here are friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable about the menu and the sourcing of the farm to table cuisine. The outdoor patio has a backyard neighborhood vibe and the indoor dining is filled with unique artwork. It's definitely worth a visit and will become an easy favorite.
Wonderful food and service! My wife and I ate here last night and sat at a table in the big dinning room. Extremely loud. No soft surfaces in the restaurant. I believe eating in the bar area would be quieter. They also have outdoor seating but was too cold for outside. Note that we are both in our sixties and I believe we are more sensitive to loud restaurants than younger people. It's amazing to us how loud restaurants have become. That said, again the food and service were phenomenal!
We had such a great time! Every single dish was perfect! It was the best service by Amber! On top of the best meal we have had in a while :) we shared 4 appetizers and one main and two drinks each. Ended up stay in at the bar because we were hungry
This place is all about the food and all about the ambiance. It's rare you get both at the same establishment. We enjoyed being here. It was a cool place with a great vibe. It was our first time there so we focused on appetizers with a couple of entrees. Every time something was brought to the table, we both looked at each other and smiled because it looked fantastic and we hoped it would taste the same. And that was exactly the case. Midway through the mail, we basically told each other that we need to come here again soon to explore the menu some more. I took some pictures of the food so I thought I would share with you. Great experience.
The experience at Fern was exquisite. Our server Isabella was wonderful, polite and very easy to talk to. The food was wonderful, flavorful, and very well prepared. Drinks were amazing I had the Broomhilda's Bee's and my wife had the Burgundy Tombstone both were top notch! Thank you Isabella for the wonderful experience!
Tucked away on quiet Fern Street, Fern is a true hidden gem. From the moment we sat down, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and peaceful. We started with the stuffed squash blossoms and burrata — both were absolutely delicious and tasted incredibly fresh. The squash blossoms were light and perfectly crisp, while the burrata was creamy and paired with seasonal accompaniments that really brought it to life. I ordered an espresso martini, which was smooth, well-balanced, and beautifully presented — definitely one of the best I’ve had in a while. We split an entrée, which was more than enough for two and showcased Fern’s commitment to farm-to-table freshness. You can really taste the quality of their ingredients — every bite felt thoughtful and nourishing. If you’re looking for a relaxed, farm-to-table dining experience with amazing flavors and an intimate vibe, Fern is definitely worth a visit. We’ll be back soon.
Mushroom appetizer and Lolla Rosa salads were excellent to start. Topped it off with the prime sirloins which were outstanding. Really picked a great one when we didn't know anything about the place having just arrived in town.
Cocktails, food, service were great. I love making reviews when service and food are great! From the moment we walked in, even during dining experience the team was great. Brandon, Isabella and Cody were very welcoming, especially with it being our first time at fern. My husband and I can’t wait to be back!
Fern is a true farm-to-table standout in Palm Beach County’s dining scene. The passion behind their locally sourced menu really shines through—from the ranch-raised Wagyu to the thoughtful vegetable pairings. We started with the squash blossoms, which were perfectly crisp with just the right touch of heat and honey, bursting with goat cheese —absolutely incredible. The Wagyu tartare was rich and beautifully balanced, the black grouper ceviche bright and refreshing, and the short rib melt-in-your-mouth tender. And the key lime pie? A different take on it than I’ve ever seen before but easily the best I’ve had in the county. Every detail, from the sourcing to the plating, felt intentional. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and kind and the outdoor dining space was beautiful and artsy. Fern is where craftsmanship meets comfort, and we can’t wait to go back.
Wow! Absolutely amazing farm to table restaurant. So happy I chose this place for happy hour tonight. I will be back over and over again. Staff was unbelievably knowledgeable about the farms and the foods I need to know more. Ever changing menu with a great cocktail list as well. A Must Try!!
Brought my family, including young grandchildren for dinner. The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable. We started with a dozen delicious oysters; some of the best we've had in a long time! Appetizers were decent, albeit on the small side and our meals were quite good. Our server, Isabella, was extremely attentive, knew the menu well and handled our large party with class; a true asset to Fern! We had a terrific experience overall!
Dining at Fern in West Palm Beach is more than just a meal…it’s a showcase of artistry, passion, and hospitality at its finest. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel at home. Our server, Rossa, set the tone with warmth and attentiveness, ensuring every detail of the evening flowed seamlessly. General Manager Cody checked in with a genuine sense of care, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. And of course, Chef Eddie’s creations were nothing short of exceptional, each dish thoughtfully designed to highlight seasonal ingredients and bold flavors. The Lion’s Mane, black trumpet, golden oyster, and chestnut mushroom dish was a celebration of earthy richness, elevated by heirloom tomato, peas, and fingerling potatoes…a perfect balance of comfort and refinement. The pork belly burnt ends stole the spotlight with their sweet-and-spicy hot honey glaze and the crisp bite of pickled vegetables, creating a dish that was both playful and addictive. Next came the Berkshire rib chop, a masterpiece grilled to perfection, paired with asparagus, apricot purée, black garlic molasses, and a whisper of wood-fire smokiness. Each bite carried depth and sophistication, making it a true standout of the night. The steak tartare, with wild mushroom confit, truffle salt, and a delicate quail egg, was pure indulgence..silky, savory, and unforgettable. What truly sets Fern apart is how the staff and kitchen work together to create not just great food, but a complete experience. With thoughtful service, creative dishes, and an atmosphere that blends elegance with warmth, Fern feels like a hidden gem destined to be remembered long after the last bite. It’s the kind of restaurant you’re already planning to revisit before you’ve even left.
We went here with a large group for a business celebration dinner. The food was perfect!! They served a slice bone-in ribeye, heirloom carrots, and fingerling potatoes family style all cooked to perfection! The presentation was beautiful! Cocktails were original & different. They were very accommodating & knowledgeable about their wines even allowing some of our party to taste a couple to make their choice. Dessert was absolutely divine. The ribeye was definitely a prime cut of meat. For appetizer my husband & I had the burnt ends & the stuffed squash blossoms. Both were delicious, but the burnt ends was the clear winner, (but could a squash blossom really compete with burnt ends?!). We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner & the staff was amazing.
Fantastic experience. Definitely try the Raspberry Wrangler cocktail! (a marg with raspberry and jalapeno) We really appreciated the mission behind this restaurant about where the food is coming from, it really brings value to the meal knowing the quality of the farms that are behind rearing and caring for the animals. Superb wine also, the cabernet pairs well with the filet (which had the best crust ive ever had on a steak). The pinot noir goes with the pork (we also learned about the multigenerational farm the pigs are from). And the fried bananas?! What a way to finish the meal 🤌🌟
Being at Fern was an amazing experience. Myself and my wife enjoyed every moment. Atmosphere was so pleasant and calming. General Manager, Cody was extraordinary; knowledgable and we praise his level of customer service. He does care for his guests and he made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. In addition, our waitress, Isabella was magnificent. She was knowledgable, caring and she demonstrated high level of customer service. Isabella made us feel like at our home. Such a wonderful lady. If anyone wants to feel like we did, please come to “Fern” because it is was wonderful and unforgettable experience. Forever grateful, Neno and Angela!
This what’s our first time going to Fern. What a wonderful experience. My daughter-in-law and I started at the bar while we waited for my son and husband to park the car. On a sidenote, we didn’t realize the valet down the road was also for Fern, that would’ve been helpful to know as they had to park sort of far away. The bar is actually seating for dinner, but we were able to order a drink. They have a good selection of specialty cocktails, I tried the good the bad and the bubbly it was very refreshing. We were then shown to our table which was outside as we requested. It’s a very cool outside atmosphere. Our server, Isabella came right to our table. She was very attentive and super knowledgeable. She started by asking if this was our first time at the restaurant and we told her it was. She then explained the farm to table experience that Fern provides. I asked her about a menu item and she explained it in perfect detail enough so that that’s what I chose to get. The pacing of the meal was also very good. Food was brought out by another weight staff, Edwin, who knew exactly where each dish went and told us what he was serving us. He was so pleasant and seemed genuinely happy to be working there. Each course was delicious. I started with the Key West shrimp, which was very unique and tasted outstanding. My husband got the Burrata and my kids split the steak tartare. I only got a picture of my appetizer as I didn’t know how much we were going to love the food and should’ve taken more! For dinner my daughter-in-law and I got the linguine which was the dish I asked her to describe. It was her favorite dish, which also led us to want to get it. My husband got the duck and my son got the swordfish. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and will definitely be back.
Sat at the bar with front view of the kitchen staff hard at work. The chef was so crazy impressive and did not let anything leave that kitchen without perfection. Best seat in the house as far as I was concerned. Great meal, great staff and overall atmosphere was just wonderful. Will definitely come back to this place if we make it back this way again. Farm to table. Yum yum!!
The food and meat here is marvelous. We ate four different dishes between the appetizers and main course and I seriously can’t choose a favorite. They were all incredibly fresh tasting. Our waiter was extremely helpful when it came to gluten free, and even knew about cross contamination. We sat outside and the ambiance could not have been sweeter. I’m definitely returning here!
Fern Street Wine Bar in West Palm is an absolute gem and delivers a truly elevated dining experience without feeling pretentious. The atmosphere is intimate and stylish, making it perfect for a date night or a relaxed evening with friends. The wine selection is thoughtfully curated, with great options by the glass that pair beautifully with the food. Every dish that came out was not only visually stunning but packed with flavor — from the oysters with a perfectly crisp topping, to the creative small bites layered with fresh herbs, microgreens, and bright, balanced sauces. You can tell a lot of care goes into both presentation and execution. The highlights continued with heartier plates, including a beautifully cooked steak served over a silky purée and a vibrant, flavor-forward fried rice dish loaded with vegetables and texture. Fern Street Wine Bar is the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit — an easy recommendation for anyone looking for exceptional food, great wine, and a fantastic vibe in West Palm.
Wow! We dined here for dinner and so thoroughly enjoyed every bit of the experience! We were greeted by welcoming staff and seated in the most dreamy outdoor courtyard. Then we met our server, Isabella, who was WONDERFUL! She was knowledgeable about every detail of the menu and helped guide us with her suggestions. We loved that the menu is sourced from local farms and some of our dishes were prepared in beef tallow- my husband’s fave! Every dish we enjoyed was created with so much flavor and care! The squash blossoms and pork belly burnt ends are fantastic starters- we’d highly recommend. The picanha and short rib were cooked to perfection! Mushrooms and Lolla Rosa salad made great additions as sides. Craft cocktails were also delish! We will be back!! Thanks Isabella!!
Fern has become my favorite spot in West Palm Beach. The atmosphere is so warm and cozy, the kind of place where you just want to linger. The food is always fresh and flavorful, and I love knowing it comes from local farms. Amber makes every visit feel personal with her kind service, and you can tell Chef Eddie and his team put so much care into every plate. It’s consistently wonderful, and I always leave feeling grateful for the experience.
FERN Restaurant is truly a shining gem in West Palm Beach. Chef Eddie, along with Rossa and Cody, created an unforgettable dining experience that was both simple yet refined. Their commitment to true “farm-to-table” cuisine of sourcing everything from local farms, ranches, and reserves truly shines through in every bite. The four mushroom dish was outstanding, followed by a deliciously seasoned swordfish with risotto. Also the jalapeños stuffed with creamy goat cheese were a delight, plus the vibrant packed arugula salad with pistachio and quinoa. Each plate told its own story of freshness, color and balance. To top it off, the “Rancher’s Remedy” mocktail was spectacular with a bold blend of ginger, turmeric, orange, honey, cayenne pepper, and bee pollen. It captured the restaurant’s spirit of creativity and wellness. FERN isn’t just a meal to share with family and friends but a lovely quality adventure. The Kitchen has an open layout and you can see the unique dishes being created. A must-visit in West Palm Beach on Fern Street!
Amber & Tania were the dynamic duo. Absolutely amazing and made our experience even better. The food was out. of. this. world. I mean WOW. There is a special story behind each farmer and where things are sourced. It’s a beautiful place in so many ways, the people, the food, the atmosphere. Cody was fantastic. Wow wow. Will recommend and will be back!
Our waitress, Isabella, was incredibly helpful and attentive to our gluten-free dietary needs. She even brought us a menu and thoughtfully marked which items were gluten-free, which made ordering so easy and stress-free. When a light rain began, the manager kindly opened large, beautiful umbrellas just for us and I so appreciated that! Choosing what to order was the hardest part because everything looked amazing, and the mocktails were so creative! The menu is truly inspired, and I could easily see this restaurant earning a Michelin star.
Amber and the Fern staff blew us away! You can see how they run a tight ship in the kitchen and they’re all working together to create an ambiance that’s mod but incredibly friendly. The food was phenomenal (we had the key west shrimp, pork belly burnt ends, swordfish with risotto, and Berkshire rib chop) and you can tell by the freshness and the meticulous preparations that it’s a genuine farm to table experience. It was amazing and we would love to come back when we visit West Palm again!
I had an incredible dining experience here. The farm-to-table approach truly shines. Every dish tasted fresh, vibrant, and thoughtfully prepared. You can tell the ingredients are locally sourced and handled with care, as the flavors are clean and full of depth. The presentation was beautiful without being fussy, and the service was warm and attentive, making the whole evening feel special. This is the kind of place where you can taste the difference quality and sustainability make. I can’t wait to come back.
We had reservations, but we ended up sitting at the bar. We always like sitting next to each other. Tonya and Amber were the bomb. It was our first time here as we now live off Clematis. We will be back again. Great food, atmosphere, and impeccable service. The bottle of wine was great but the expresso martinis were the bomb🤙🍷🥃
Absolutely delicious food! The Rib Chop superb. The fried banana and pistachio ice cream was perfect end to the meal. Everything made to order, right down to the apricot purée for the chop! Cliff our server was excellent... great help with picking a wine. Always there when needed while NEVER hovering. Don't miss this place!!
If you love good food, this restaurant is a must. If you care about the quality and the sourcing of your food, this restaurant is a must. My whole dining experience here has been fabulous, from the setting, whether inside or outside, to the friendly staff, and also the innovative cocktails and of course the food. Focused on high-quality meat there are very nice fish options as well. Highly recommend the mushrooms, the steak tartare, and the pork belly burnt ends. Only wish I had had the ability to eat everything on the menu!
Fern is a true gem of a farm-to-table experience, every dish we tried was a masterclass in freshness, creativity, and balance. The burnt tips brisket was rich and perfectly tender, the rock shrimp layered with bright flavor and snap, and the red snapper ceviche was a standout with vibrant citrus and mango, complemented beautifully by creamy avocado. The lion’s mane mushroom and squash blossom dishes were equally memorable, earthy, elegant, and plated like works of art. To top it all off, the tiramisu was both airy and indulgent, the perfect end to an unforgettable meal. Our server, Cliff, elevated the evening even further with top-notch service, genuine, attentive, and knowledgeable without being overbearing. Fern isn’t just a meal, it’s an experience, and one we’ll be recommending to anyone who appreciates food with soul and intention.

An absolutely incredible experience. The food is outstanding—natural ingredients, grass-fed meats, and beautifully balanced flavors. You can truly taste the care and quality in every dish. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the service. The attention to detail is exceptional; I felt as if I were being cared for by the owner himself. Not only was Isabella, our server, wonderful, but every member of the team contributed to making the experience special—from Amber, the bartender who welcomed us with delicious cocktails while our table was being prepared, to the young staff member who cleared our plates with warmth and grace. I’m leaving with one of the best culinary experiences I’ve had. I would recommend this place a thousand times.
An absolutely incredible experience. The food is outstanding—natural ingredients, grass-fed meats, and beautifully balanced flavors. You can truly taste the care and quality in every dish.
Izabella was an outstanding server. 5 ⭐️ Both drink and food menus are very creative. 5 ⭐️ The wines available by the glass & bottle 5⭐️ My suggestions for improvement: It took almost 20 minutes for our cocktails to arrive. Some of the glassware had a dishwasher residue scent. The steak tartare would have been better if the ingredients were all mixed together. The pasta was very salty. Almost like it was cooked in water with too much salt as the rest of the dish (steak) was not salty, just the pasta. I would definitely recommend to go as they have put a lot of time and effort into the menu and staff training and curating of products.
Visited this restaurant on a Tuesday night in November and was promptly greeted and seated on the patio. The outdoor ambiance alone is worth the visit—relaxed, charming, and a great setting for dinner. Service, however, was inconsistent. It took quite a while before our server came by to take our drink order, and after that initial interaction, we didn’t see her again. Thankfully, another waiter, Brandon, noticed we were unattended and stepped in to take care of us. His attentiveness was appreciated. We ordered two cocktails (Broomhilda’s Bees and the Red Sun Sour), the squash blossoms, and the linguine entrée. The cocktails were excellent—clearly crafted by someone who knows what they’re doing behind the bar. The squash blossoms were flavorful, though the edible flower garnish felt a bit unnecessary. The real standout of the evening was the linguine with braised Florida wagyu, truffle cream, and mushroom conserva. While the presentation wasn’t the most eye-catching, the taste was phenomenal. The truffle cream added just the right amount of salt and richness, making this dish easily the highlight of the meal. Again, the edible flower garnish wasn’t needed—the dish shines on its own. Would I return? For the service, probably not. But for that linguine entrée? Absolutely.

I wish I could just message the owner. We had a great time. Drinks, spot on , service was great. But if you cannot cook a tomahawk steak perfectly. Then don’t serve it. Raw in the middle ,, pot roast on the ends. Sorry guys. Easily fixed
For a restaurant that advocates ‘farm to table’ approach to food, the execution of the dishes falls short of the integrity of the ingredients. Compounded with a kitchen that is quite comfortable with saying ‘no’ to guests requests, my visit to Fern was very disappointing. The service and hospitality extended by server Brandon and GM Cody was appreciated. Unfortunately, what was on the plate doesn’t warrant a return or a recommendation
Had high hopes for this place based on the menu but the food was food lackluster. Beef tartare felt like too much going on. Mushrooms were an interesting addition that unfortunately did not work well with the dish. The squash blossoms were fine, don’t think they need the jalapeño. The Wagyu pasta dish was extremely watery and had barely any meat. Everything we ordered was worded to sound amazing but the actual food did not deliver. Service was good but the ambiance was a little off.
