This sonic is the best! I went to the sonic on grand in Gainesville and got two rt44 limeades. We drove off and then we started Took a few sips and it tasted awful.. we called this sonic because it was a regular sonic I go to daily and asked if they would replace the rancid limeades they said they gladly would and the manager was super nice and awesome and threw the bad drinks away. Definitely recommend this sonic 💕

Good hamburgers served here we drive about 45 miles from our house past 2 sonics to get better hamburger and onion rings, better burgers here than the ones in pottsboro or denison texas. Busy place. All flavors of drinks except coffee.

The Sonic in Whitesboro TX is absolutely the best Sonic I've ever been to so far! It is huge, double the size of any other I've seen, with the usual great service, and is kept beautifully clean. But it also has a pull-through for RV's, with ample maneuvering room and complete with a separate order board and covered dining table. 5 stars! HIGHLY RECOMMEND, especially if you're in your RV!

Stopped here while on a road trip. Every single stall was occupied and our order was 100% correct! This never happens at other Sonics even if you are the only person there ordering. Will definitely stop here again on our next trip.

This may have been one the best visits to a drive in I've had in years. Even though they were fairly busy (Sunday 10:00 AM) my special order was prepared and brought to my truck in less than 5 minutes. The car hop was friendly and cortial.

Whitesboro Sonic is The BEST!!!! I had hoped for pickle fries and they thought they had some, then came out to the car to let me know that they don't. I appreciated that type of professional communication. I had already paid with my card, so they replaced my pickle fries with mozzarella sticks. Which we also love so we were still happy. However when we got home, we realized they forgot my son's chili cheese tots from his #7 order. My son is Type 1 Diabetic and has to take insulin according to his carb intake. We noticed the tots missing and just replaced it with something from home. Aside from the pickle fries and missing tots, we still LOVE this location. Lovely staff. Very friendly helpful and hustle 💯% of the time. We are still loyal customers to this location. Good on ya Whitesboro location. You've got a GREAT CREW!!!!!!

My husband ordered the chili cheese dog. He said it was one of best hot dog he has had in a very long time. We also ordered the onion rings. Once again really good rings there was a piece of onion in every bite. They beat the last few restaurants by a mile! They mozzarella sticks were really good also. Thanks Sonic for some really good food. We were there 2/2/23 around 2:45- 3:00.

I Was interested in trying something new to them about a coffee slushy. They accommodated my order. It tasted more sweet than I expected. It was too sweet for me (it was like getting some really good sweet tea when you were expecting unsweetened tea lol) . However, I talked with the management partner who accepted the challenge. I thank her for the try and she traded it in for an unsweetened peach tea. Thanks again for the greatest customer Care I have received from fast food restaurant in a long time.😇😇😇😇

If I could give this place a 20...I would. Most of the 'Car-Hops are just awesome. The food is great and the drinks couldn't be better. The orders have been right when we get home 18 miles later. The place is clean and neat as are the employees. LOVE MY WHITESBORO TEXAS SONIC!

One of our Go To places...good food! Usually fast delivery. Had a problem about a year ago with the carhops not giving me my change...what's with that? Stopped going here for awhile. They don't do that any more. * This is for ALL Sonic restaurants * the menu needs to be lower! If you are the passenger in a car, you have to put your head almost in the driver's lap to see it. I have actually gotten out and walked over to it to be able to read and see items.

I haven't been to a Sonic for food in years but recently I've been craving a footlong cheese coney. Tried to get one at DQ but found out they don't sell them anymore, at least our brand new location doesn't. So with a temp below 90 degrees and a light northerly wind at lunchtime in Texas in July, when I saw the Sonic in the distance as I turned into the McDonald's for my daughter, I decided today was my Sonic day! We got my daughter's McD's meal through the drive-through and headed to Sonic to find a shaded space. With the exception of the push button for service acknowledgment being way too loud and the tater tots tasting like the oil they were cooked in was ready to be changed (hence the 4 stars not 5), my footlong cheese coney was perfect and the car hop service was pretty good too. So glad I went to Sonic today! Nothing beats sitting in your car eating southern comfort food on a really beautiful day!

I stop every morning on my way to work and the service is always great! I can't say enough good things about Carla, Tamra, and Dana!! They are awesome!! There are times when the food isn't quite up to par, such as old grease or items that don't have the grease drained well enough. Otherwise, I love our Sonic!

Good place for quality burgers and shakes. The milkshakes are half off after 8, which is a nice touch. The kids meals are really good, especially the grilled cheese. The wait was not long. I didn't give it a 5 star only because there are not many healthy options. Good, clean overall. Family friendly. Bathrooms in the back.

Sonic has from what I have read done really well during the pandemic, staying in the top 5 in fast foods. i like to go there for the drinks and snacks. Good prices and this location has some great employees, really nice, friendly and helpful, shout out to "Adrian". I always tip because they deserve it.

The slush and ice cream blast were fantastic!! They were too busy. Maybe they were short staffed. The service was too slow. 6 minutes to just take orders. 10 or 12 minutes to get the items. The person delivering the items was nice. One third of the ordering slots was closed or not working. Needs some updates.

Food, Service are always good. Getting correct food, that is never guaranteed. Ask for no cheese, get cheese anyways. Ask for frys, get tots. Make sure you take e erything out of bag and check before leaving. Half the time something missing or not correct. Yet we keep coming back. Hard when limited on choices.

Wrong drink's last 3x and slow. Took 30min for drink's and it was wrong and took another 15min to get there attention to fix it and it was wrong again 🤣 the next time I went it happens again and I said this is the last time. Stop for drinks before picking kids up from school.

This locations takes a LONG time to fill orders, regardless of the time of day. This particular trip, we had a large order. They forgot 2 items and then wanted to argue with us regarding one item. If I spend $50+ dollars at your location, I'm not going to try and cheat you out of a $1.89 item. Don't argue and tell me you "thought" you put it in when it's the second item I brought to your attention that you forgot.

I don't remember the last time I got what I ordered. Today I asked for two #2 meals. 1 with mayo onion & lettuce 1 with mustard onion and no cheese on either one. The mayo is correct the other one is cheese and nothing else. I know we all have bad days but it we're running at a 90% failure rate. I'll eithergo to pilot point from now on or sit in my car and check my order before I leave.

While visiting in the area, stopped at Sonic for a flavored water with Mango and peach and it was the worst we had ever received from a Sonic. Later that evening we go back and get sonic blast and it was not thick at all and we ended up drinking the blast through a straw! Not a very good representation of a Sonic!

Went to sonic today and ordered the steak sandwich combo at lunchtime..couldn't eat it at home..either ine of them..we fed them to the dogs..they were hard as a rock and it was like they had been cooked at 7 am..totally disappointing! Service was quick and friendly and tater tots were good..I no longer order burgers there because they always taste burnt, like noone knows how to clean the grill..looks like I won't order the steak sandwich for awhile either..

I'm not really sure how they can mess up almost 100% of the time :( Regardless if it's a drink, fench fries, or a hamburger I can assure you that there is a 90% chance it's missing something. Beyond that it's a 70% chance you toss it in the trash can

Last three times, orders were wrong on the burgers. I feel bad for the car hops, not their fault & I'm sure they get the brunt of frustrations. Cooks really need to pay more attention when reading an order.

Ordered regular chili dog got charged and given a foot long. Weiner was cold and nearly frozen in center. Bun was hard as a brick on one end. ....microwave! Ask for a Rt 44 3/4 unsweet and 1/4 sweet got a drink so syrupy sweet could not drink it. Stopped down the road and bought a small UNSWEET tea to mix it where I could drink some of it. Was on a 3 hr drive. So I spent more money than I wanted and still got a mess!!!

Today when we went there the time was 1:45p.m . it wasnt even lunch rush . Anyway it took a good 5 min's for someone to answer the bell. Then it took a good 25 mins to get our food. We also had another transaction, which was only 1 route 44 drink.Same thing it took a good 15 mins just to get the drink. The car hop nor anyone else ever apologized for the long periods of time it took fir our order to get delivered. I know I wont be going back to Whitesboro Texas Sonic on Hwy 377 ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!

If it's not one thing then it's another when it comes to this location. Ordered 4 frito chili cheese wraps with mozzarella sticks. Got home and couldn't believe just how cheap this location is. Cheese sticks weren't cooked long enough so they were thrown in the garbage. Each of the 4 wraps had a sprinkle of fritos and about a tablespoon of chili. Really Whitesboro Sonic? They look nothing like the pics advertised. Why do they call them chili cheese if you're not even going to put any cheese much less chili on them. You won't get my money again.

Morning time the staff is always on their toes, great experiences always. Afternoon during happy hour tho on most occasions i get some pretty bad service. The girls inside glare and shoot some pretty nasty looks, I come with a car full of mixed race kids and we always have taco casa (one has a restricted diet due to allergies, and no one likes to feel singled out) so it's one or the other issue. Who knows. But people will come and go while I sit and wait on one flavored tea. Today I had a guy come out with my order, he was great. He was also not the one who originally had our treat, it was pushed on him. I park by the door so I have a good view. Still great food but word of warning, they are either race or competition (cmon like TACO CASA is competition pfft) unfriendly.

This Whitesboro Tx location should be taken away from franchise! Took 40 mins for them to answer speaker. And I called the order in 20 mins. before that. Food was cold! Only 1 person bring food to cars. At 8:40 pm the woman answering the speaker calls tells the car next to me they can't take any more orders, to near close time (9 pm)?? This guy and family had been waiting for 30 mins. Your either open or not!! I hope the people there that night will reach out to corp. about this.

On Monday, May 18, 2019 I placed an order for pickup at this location via the Sonic app. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised that they had my order ready [the previous two times I placed an order via app at this location they didn't begin preparing my order until I arrived]. The carhop arrived at my vehicle with a small bag that I thought wasn't large enough to hold ten chicken tenders, large order of onion rings, and an order of popcorn chicken [the cheese fries I ordered were in a separate container]. The carhop assured me that everything I ordered was in the bag. When I arrived home around 40 minutes later I discovered that the carhop had been incorrect. The ten chicken tenders were not in the bag. I called the restaurant. They apologized for the mix-up and said I could come pickup the chicken tenders. I requested the price of the chicken tenders to be refunded to my credit card as it would take 60-75 minutes to drive to the restaurant then back home. The employee - who had identified himself as the location manager - said he would refund the cost of the entire meal to my credit card. Two weeks later I submitted a written report to Sonic's customer care because I had yet to receive the refund. I explained what had happened and expected a prompt reply. It has been over ten days since I submitted the written report and have yet to hear anything. It's been over a month and still no refund. Seems like Sonic Drive-In practices incompetence at all levels.

This is my third and final time ordering from this Sonic. They have yet to get even a partial order right on just one order. I order a double back Hamburger atw w/ must and jalapenos but no lettuce and a small Strawberry cheesecake master shake with m&m minis in it. I even called ahead and explained how important it was to get this right. What I got was a strawberry milkshake with Oreo in it and a bacon double hamburger with mustard and tomatoes. Not satisfied at all.

My favorite thing used to be the ULTIMATE meat and cheese burrito but here, at this sonic, you pay a hell of a price for maybe two tatortots, a bite of sausage and egg and maybe half a piece of bacon and it’s never fresh. I I end up having to pay extra to have “extra meat” put on it just so it’s made the right way. I’ve worked in that very kitchen and I know how it’s supposed to be made. And don’t bother talking to Linsey, she’s lazy and hateful and takes no accountability, just makes excuses. You’re better off talking to Chris, he’s always kind and makes sure everything is done correctly.

Ordered only drinks ordered a vanilla Coke and got a vanilla zero Coke. Very nasty. Could not even get drinks right. When the car hop came out to bring the drinks she said it was a Coke zero and I asked her did you say Coke zero and then she said no it's just a vanilla Coke..It was NOT. VERY slow. And I understand nobody wants to work. But I got there before the end of happy hour and didn't get waited on til after HH. Charged full price. I avoid this sonic because of past issues as much as possible. Decided to give it another try today and found nothing changed.

I'm not quite sure how inept you have to be to work at the Whitesboro Sonic, but the bar isn't high. First... the tots were cold and stale. My burger with extra onions and extra pickles (0.69 extra) had 2 onion dices and 2 pickles. The 2 orders of mozzarella sticks came with no marinara (is supposed to come standard). And finally the outside of the drinks were covered with sticky syrup.

Spent 22 bucks at this location last week on 2 single cheeseburger meals plus a large order of onion rings. Paid with credit card but didn't add tip on the card. Tipped the car hop 15 percent. The burgers were pure slop. The tomato slices (2) were so thin I could see through them and both heels off the tomato. The onion rings looked okay but smelled like they were fried in rancid cooking oil. Never Ever will I spend money at the Whitesboro Sonic.

Start off ordering ice cream, I ordered 3 shakes and then get told, “It’ll be 10 minutes on the ice cream” how hard is it to make a milkshake? It doesn’t take 10 minutes to make 3 milkshakes. Then, check the burger I ordered. Quarter pound double cheeseburger. Only mustard, ketchup, and pickles. Easy on three items. Nooooo that burger maker had to go the extra step and make it full out. When I asked for it to be remade, the correct way, I then get my burger back with new buns, however there’s still mayo on the patty, so I know they only swapped the buns, and didn’t make me a fresh burger. I’ve been sitting here another 15 minutes waiting on the new burger……sure hope it gets here soon….I know they have plenty of Patties on the grills, they’re premade and sitting in grease on right side of the grill. How do I know this you may ask? I used to work here. A decade ago and by the looks of it, I’ll be here all night…….just kidding. New burger just got here. It takes more work to put a folded up party on a burger than a flat one. Intentionally done. What a joke of a place.

Went at happy hour and he wouldn't give us our drinks at the price it was supposed to be and lied and said it wasn't happy hour and it was around 3:20 so I asked when happy hour changed and he wouldn't give me an answer and just walked away. Not a big deal having to pay full price but I don't appreciate being lied to.

There’s nothing more frustrating than paying for something and not having it delivered correctly. Today we got pickles and tomatoes in cold fries, exactly what I was not looking for!

Arrived at 237pm and order 3 drinks a 2 small appetizers and it was 3pm and still noting until I pressed the button and the lady comes out with my drinks and food and tells me they forgot about my order and gives me cold food and I told her it was probably cold now and it was but said she can have it redone but I was already late so I said no.. no the best experience

The drinks always taste terrible when I go here. I waited 10 minutes for my app order which was just a Dr pepper. Then it comes out and it has vanilla or cream in it. Then get another one brought out and it taste like the syrup is out.

I'm so disappointed in this location. I feel they don't really care about customer service or paying attention to orders. Everytime I go, there is ALWAYS something wrong that they didn't correctly provide. I haven't said anything, but today I am. I stopped by to try one more time, hoping that after some time had passed, service would be great. I was wrong. I asked for a real fruit cherry limeade slush. I had no fruit in my cup, only flavor. I think I will keep going to Gainesville for this item. They ALWAYS get it right!

The Sonic in Whitesboro, TX has no business operating. Moved here 6 years ago from Lewisville, TX which is beside the point, but honestly has never gotten our full order correctly, from food to something as small as a drink order. Personally, I would be ashamed of owning a drive thru as this. Might want to consider running a totally different business. Just saying...

2 nights in a row no ranch. First night it was added in the app..the second night it just goes with cheddar bites. First night the car hop said. Ranch is in the bag.... didn't even come with the marinara that the cheese sticks were supposed to come with. And the additional ranch was way too much. I ordered from the app so you can see clearly what i ordered No need to make it right. I'm not coming back. Whataburger gets it right. I just wanted to break the nightly cycle on my route. I thought you are right next to them. I'll try you out.

I was expecting the overall reviews of this place to be lower. I ordered a lemon slush for my daughter and I that tasted like pool water. I asked for a replacement for one week knew we would like but they were going to charge me for the newer ones. That's the first time a store has ever put this customer a second on a drink order. I would love to have bought replacements but finances are tight. I'm just very disappointed in this management.

I went in today with my grandson to get lunch. When the order came, we did not have any dipping sauces that we had requested. I pressed the service button several times and got no response. I beeped my horn to which two carhops looked at me trying to wave them down and again, I was completely ignored. I got out of my car and knocked on the window. A supposed manager came out and told me I needed to calm down. Beach, I was calm until you said that. I really felt somewhat threatened by her body language. I was waiting to get hit by her. She told me to leave and if I ever came back, she would have me arrested for trespassing. Again beach, this is how you treat a customer who just wanted to quit being ignored and get the sauces that were originally requested.

I order here all the time. Not sure what happened tonight. The screen showed my food was out but it didn’t come so I asked and they couldn’t find my food. They asked if it was another order. They gave my Order away to someone else and then told me they would refund me right away and get me a receipt. I waited and finally pushed the button again and ask them if I was going to get a receipt and he said, oh we’ll get that done right now and have a receipt out to you. I sat there for over 20 minutes waiting and left with a receipt finally. I had a very long work day and just wanted something quick. I was disappointed.

I stopped in to get a drink, are use the big trailer ordering board in the back after 10 minutes nobody had come on to take my order. I push the button two more times. I ended up calling the store and ask him if their board was broken. They said they didn’t know they’d come out and look. I said I’ve been here 10 minutes already. Could they just take my order? Finally he said yes now I’ve been here another 15 minutes waiting for my drink terrible service
