We had a great time visiting for the first time. The restaurant is clean and food is delicious. The pastrami sandwich and zucchini fries were my favorite. We will be back soon again!
Delicious food, made fresh. Place is clean and the vibes are right. I will be back
Food was awesome i had the frisco western burger without jack cheese, onion ring because of my stomach problems. And side order of curly fries Yummie, could used more chipotle sauce on bread. I used the drive-thru an happen to see one female on skate's maybe next time ill dine in. Thank you for the good food
Visited Frisco’s Carhop in Whittier and it was such a fun throwback experience. The carhop service and retro vibe definitely make it stand out from your usual dining spot. Food-wise, it was good — classic burgers, fries, and shakes that hit the spot. The portions were generous and the service was friendly, which made the whole visit enjoyable. Overall, it’s a unique place to check out if you’re in the mood for something nostalgic and different.
This place is so fun and the food is delicious! I've been here about 5 or 6 times over the past year and have not complaints. The burgers are made fresh and the chili cheese curly fries (off the menu item) are my faves. The chicken sandwiches are also very tasty. There's plenty of parking along with dine in. If it's not too busy, you can grab a booth that looks like a vintage car! Fun place that I will continue to visit when I'm on that side of town.
Out of the blue...decided to visit this place... I was surprised and delighted. Once an auto garage and made into a car hop diner. Just great decor great feel outside seating mod outside seating and inner diner... food was fantastic, great taste - ladies were lovely...added skates ⛸️ was a great touch. Over was a 10 out of 10. Enjoy the food Enjoy the ambiance. Great first date and family location. Great job owner!
The food at this place is exceptionally fresh and remarkable. I savored a burger topped with chipotle and bacon, and the bacon was delightfully crispy yet full of flavor. The dining area is immaculate, adorned with nostalgic photos that create a delightful blast from the past. I highly recommend anyone to visit this place and give it a try.
Do you love the old school vibes of the 50s? Frisco's is the spot you have been looking for then. Being a huge fan of the movie Grease, Frisco's totally gave me these vibes from this time. Staff is really nice and they had a staff that would roll out on skates to deliver out your food. They have a drive thru. Food is big generous portions. They do have kids meal available and their milkshakes are a must. They have indoor/outdoor seating.
I really enjoyed the burgers here they were better than I expected, besides the features the restaurant has itself. Vintage photos Botha that are made as old school cars, and the restaurant itself giving it a car garage style look. I ordered the classic burger it was fresh and I had no complaints, the bun was perfect size I didn’t feel extremely full after eating here it was a perfect portion. Didn’t get to take many photos, will definitely be back.
It’s a very fun experience dining here. We came here on a weekday and were the only customers dining in. Service was quick and friendly. Our son is a car lover. He was thrilled to eat his fries in a car setting. Kids’ meal came with a cardboard car box. The burgers were juicy and rich in flavor. I especially enjoyed the zucchini stick.
It's such a great spot for delicious food and a great atmosphere! It was literally the best fried zucchini we have ever had, and everything else was cooked to perfection. Craft sodas were exceptional. Cherry coke had a perfect ratio of chery to coke. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was clean and inviting when we visited. It is fun that some of the staff even wear skates around the restaurant. If you are on the fence about going, just go, and I am sure you will be just as impressed as we were.
Damn good, 50s-style eats. Generous portions as well! I recommend the patty melt without the thousand island personally. Give it a go; you won't regret it!
From the very first moment you step in you feel like you took a step back in time. Everything about the atmosphere and staff just screams out welcoming. From ordering our food to being served was a quick and attentive experience. Before we were able to take our seat a staff member was already ready to clean and sanitize our table to ensure a high grade of service which was greatly reinforced by the constant checkups by the staff asking if we needed anything. I truly liked the placed before we even got to the food!! The food was made with super fresh produce and tasted delightful. Definitely a must try for everyone and I will be recommending it to friends and family.
Service was great and the meal deals were an excellent value. Everything was delicious. Love how crispy their fries are. Breakfast entres comes with a free coffee and one option is an iced caramel coffee which was very good. Their Frisco’s Hop Box is an excellent option for kids and adults. Highly recommend.
On everything, this is one of the best place that has such amazing food, this definitely met my satisfaction, the chipotle chicken sandwich was the best thing I’ve ever tried, the chicken was amazing and the curly fries has the BEST seasonings everything was just so good, I’m not from this state but I would definitely recommend this to others who go to California
I didn’t know what to expect here as it was my first time and I just happened to come across this place. If you’ve been debating coming here do yourself a favor and get over here! The food is made to order fresh and delicious! I can’t express how surprised I was as soon as I bit into my Frisco Western Burger. Packed with flavor and super refreshing- which is a weird thing to say about a burger but it’s true! Also the chili cheese curly fries are WORTH IT. Best chili fries I’ve had in a while. Also the Rocky Road Milkshake tastes like I stuck a straw in the tub and it’s magic! Have it trust me. Thanks Frisco’s I’ll be back soon!
My partner and I have been wanting to come here for years and it did not disappoint. We tried both the Frisco’s Bacon & Avocado Burger and the Classic Bacon & Avocado Burger. My partner preferred the Frisco’s (which comes on sourdough) and I preferred the Classic (on a bun). Both the regular fries and curly fries were great and plentiful; we ordered size smalls and they were ginormous. It was so much food that we took half of our burgers and most of the fries home for later. We also split a very good vanilla shake.
Friscos Carhops - Whittier Blvd Nostalgia in Every Bite If you're craving a blast from the past with a side of creamy indulgence, Friscos Carhops delivers. The tuna salad sandwich is refreshingly crisp, with just the right mayo-to-crunch ratio, tucked between toasted bread that's got that perfect diner griddle kiss. Pair it with one of their thick milkshakes—vanilla is a classic, but strawberry hits different-and you've got a combo that screams retro comfort. The vibes? Immaculate. Chrome accents, neon signs, and that jukebox charm make you feel like you've stepped into a '50s postcard. Whether you're parked outside or dining in, it's a slice of Americana that Whittier Blvd
This place has a 50/60s feel with a good soundtrack playing while you eat good food. The waitresses skate around and serve you food which is so cool. The food is delicious. You have to try the pastrami sandwich. If you have a lot of people with you, the family pack is perfect. Some of the table are inside old school cars. I thought that was creative and nice. I got the chili cheese fries and they was hella good. My favorite part were the shakes. I looove shakes and they have so much variety. Love this place.
OMG!!! We are in love!!! It was our first time here and upon walking into this place you're transported into an oldschool diner from the 50's. There's two giant pink & turquoise cars /booths in the middle of additional seating. I was super impressed by the right off the bat amazing service from a gentleman named Arturo who took our order. He was helpful & very kind. 😊 He answered all our 1st time questions and made wonderful suggestions. We took him up on a few of them... like the new pastrami sandwich. It was so good and filled up. I loved it!!! Definitely, a must try! 😋 The rest of my family ordered burgers and if you want more meat... I highly recommend a double. 🍔 We also had curly fries that my daughter loved. She a fan of them and says, these are some of the best she's had. I also had the freshly made zucchini sticks and the taste of them was out of this world. Sturdy made to the tooth. Like really good! We also had the chili, cheese fries and they really hit the mark of some of the best. Lastly, we got an extra special surprise from Arturo for a belated celebration visit for my son Noah.🍨 Giselle, and her girls came out to sing Noah Happy Birthday!!! He was super surprised & so very much grateful for the kind gesture. I would like to finally recommend the cookie with ice cream on it. It was sooooo good! 😋 Thank you, Frisco's, Arturo, Giselle, and staff for making our Saturday afternoon outing a real great one. We can't wait to return! 😍💯
Burgers, Shakes and Skates This Retro 50’s themed family friendly diner brings such a fun vibe!! I love that food is brought to you on skates!! Craft sodas are made in house. Milkshakes are made to order. We tried: Pastrami Sandwich (NEW) Frisco Fire Burger (NEW) Chipotle Bacon Cheeseburger Club Sandwich Chili Cheese Fries Milkshakes - Strawberry, Oreo, Brownie, Churro (Thrifty Ice Cream) Family Pack 4 Classic hamburgers, 4 small fries, and 4 medium drinks This is fun spot for delicious comfort food and a nostalgic 1950’s carhop atmosphere. The car booths are fun!! I couldn’t resist asking for the cute car holders for the burgers and sandwiches. Helpful customer service. Outdoor seating available. ** Tip: Call ahead to find out when waitress on skates will be there.**
I’ve been here handful of times only during breakfast hours, but every single time I go it’s really good. I think that this place is one of my favorite spots for breakfast far beyond better than most restaurants
Went to Frisco's for the fun vibe and throwback meals. The restaurant itself is clean and well maintained. It has such a fun, nostalgic decor with the pictures of famous people, statues and especially the car seats. A definite must for kids of all ages! The service was done with a smile. You order at the counter then they deliver your food to your table. If you are lucky you will have a traditional carhop girl deliver it to you on skates! The food was just as delicious as the decor is fun. What we ordered: Classic bacon avocado $10.49 Chipotle bacon cheeseburger $9.49 Tuna sandwich (new) $ 10.99 Pastrami sandwich (new) $12.99 Chicken Pita Wrap $11.49 Chicken Cobb salad $9.99 Parmesan zucchini stick $6.99 Onion rings $6.89 Vanilla milkshake $5.99 Chocolate milkshake $5.99
Came in at around 7 on a Wednesday night with the fam for diner food! We have been here before, but my kids always get excited when they see the restaurant. The tables that look like cars, the traffic light , the posters give 1950s nostalgia vibes! Here’s what we ordered: The chicken Cobb salad- grilled chicken , bacon, egg and the chipotle ranch dressing definitely go well together! It’s perfect to share as the serving is quite generous! The Bacon Avocado burger combo with curly fries and drink! The avocado melts perfectly in with the patty and bacon the portions is also good to share! Kids combo- comes in a car box and fries and drink. The kids chose chicken tenders and ranch. Signature Milkshakes- Neapolitan and Mint Chocolate chip! The food came out pretty fast and we love that everyone was all smiles! It was a litttle busy so I totally understand why the table we chose was a little dirty.
If you’re visiting from out of town or just in the area you can’t afford to pass up this cool nostalgic experience. The spot is decked out with a 50’s vibe along with two booths that are car like! Our server came to our table in roller skates so that was cool also. I ordered the chicken sandwich with onion rings and it was definitely hitting with flavor. My family ordered the chicken salad and burgers and they were satisfied and that’s all that counts right! So check this spot if you’re in the area!
I stopped in recently and grabbed a cheeseburger combo and a club sandwich combo, plus a root beer float and a chocolate shake. Everything was spot-on: the cheeseburger was juicy with that perfect grilled flavor, the club sandwich was loaded with fresh turkey, bacon, and veggies, and both fries were hot and crispy. The root beer float was creamy and fizzy, and the chocolate shake was thick and yummy. What really makes Frisco’s special though is the whole vibe. The interior is decorated like a classic 1950s-60s carhop diner—super cute signs, vintage car and old celeb memorabilia everywhere. Right now they’ve decked it out with Christmas tree, wreaths, and blow up Santas, so it feels extra festive and cozy. The place is always spotless, the location is convenient whether you’re doing drive-thru or dining in, and the staff are genuinely some of the friendliest people around—they greet you with a smile and make sure everything’s perfect. Highly recommend for a quick, delicious, feel-good meal!
Came here this evening and had such a great experience. First off, the inside is so cute! It's has a classic 50s-style diner vibe that immediately puts you in a good mood. We tried the chocolate shake, Oreo cookie shake, the chicken pita wrap, and the Frisco Fire burger on a sourdough jalapeño bun, and honestly... everything was delicious. The food tasted fresh and flavorful, and the burger in particular had the perfect mix of spice and crunchiness. The customer service was excellent! Everyone was super kind and welcoming, which always makes the experience that much better. Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying more items. Really glad we stopped by!
We stopped here before heading to Disney. We don’t eat much, so we ordered from the kids’ menu. The kids’ burger was just a bun and patty, so we added a half Chicken Cobb Salad and made our own burger. The place has an awesome classic American retro vibe. The Chicken Cobb Salad was filling and healthy, even as a half portion. If I came by myself, I’d definitely order the half Chicken Cobb Salad and a soda.
This place is easily visible from the street, and there's plenty of parking around the building! If you want that classic "car hop" diner spot, this is definitely the place to go. You walk in and the 50's vibe is so much fun! The posters are literally my favorite thing. Also, the car tables where you look like you're sitting in a car itself, I love that so much! Service was great, they made sure that you have everything you need, double check your orders, etc. We started off with the Cobb Salad, it was a hefty size, even for a half salad. Filled with all the goodness of a cobb salad. For the Salad dressing, we got the Chipotle Ranch, which was a perfect pairing. For our mains, we ordered the Pastrami Sandwich and a Bacon Cheeseburger. For the price there was a good chunk of pastrami packed into it. It was juicy and great every bite. The bacon cheeseburger was also really good, the bacon was that perfect crisp and the buns had that light toast on it. For the sides, we got the cruiser fries and the chili cheese fries. They're the same size as the cobb salad. So a good portion. The fries are perfectly seasoned and has a nice crisp to it. The chili had a good spice to it, and I loved the crumbly bacon on the cruiser fries. Order....the....milkshake, I don't care if you take it home to enjoy later, but please do it. The mint chocolate shake was like having Andy's Chocolate Mints, which is one of my top 5 candys (Like come on, one of the best endings to Olive Garden right?). The Churro shake literally had little pieces of churro, as well as having that good size piece on top! Like how else do you finish off a great 50's diner meal! The sodas were also great, it looked like it was it's own brand, but there were fun different flavors! I did a mix of a couple of flavors. It's a great spot for if you're just doing takeaway, a date night, or even a bigger party.
Excellent customer service by Sidney who stayed very composed and polite, even as the place got very crowded on a Sunday late morning. Food was basic diner food, but the portions are good. I will say that the prices need to be updated on the menu because the menu display prices are a couple of dollars lower than what we were charged. Definitely come here for the vibes. Coffee was also very good.
We had dinner here the other night. There is plenty of parking available. The restaurant is a fun 1950s American diner with car booths and waitresses on rollerskates. We had a pastrami sandwich and a bacon cheeseburger. Both were so good. There was a lot of pastrami packed in the sandwich. The bacon cheeseburger was cooked perfectly with nice crispy bacon. We also got chili cheese fries and cruiser fries. The fries were so crispy. The portion size was large. Would definitely definitely get both again. We also got a half order of the chicken cobb salad. It was more than enough for the two of us. Also, save room for the milkshakes. We got a churro shake and a mint chocolate shake. Both were so delicious. The churro shake had crispy pieces of churro mixed into the shake. Such a fun place with friendly service and amazing food. Can't wait to come back and try more of their food again.

Adorable place! The food was very good and good size portions for the price. There was a server in skates. So fun!

Went for breakfast, the food was super good and very generous portions - the one thing that bummed me out about it was the plastic cutlery and containers. It was empty at the time - it a bit confusing to know if we were going to be brough food or what because we just paid and... that was it, we weren't told anything else, we just sat down until someone thankfully came. The place is very cute, a bit dated but nice nonetheless.
Well curated Car Hop with girls on skates and food really hits the burger spot on. I ordered the Friso burger with melted cheese on the sourdough bun. Mm. The fries are double crispy. And I pigged out by ordering a Root Beer float. The iced tea is a earl grey tea variety. Family and “Boomer” friendly.
We tried Frisco’s via the drive-thru, so I can’t speak to the ambiance. Love the variety of sides (my husband got curly fries and there are also onion rings and zucchini fries on offer) and love love LOVE the cruiser fries (cheese, bacon, and green onion on top)—I have a thing about cheese sauce so the fact that it’s real cheese on top is 👌. The thing that’s keeping this from being a 5 star review is that, while my western burger had some delicious toppings, while I was eating I mostly tasted the parmesan-crusted bun. I might need to make it a double? I want to come back to try the shakes and see the inside anyway.
Me and my friends traveled from santa clarita for this place and we were not disappointed. they have a large variety on their menu and i feel like the food itself is pretty fairly priced given how popular it is but the shakes and floats and stuff and crazy expensive for a tiny little plastic cup they put them in fancy cups and out those pictures everywhere just just don’t think what you’re gonna get when you get that. the food itself was really good there wasn’t anything too special about it besides the cheese crusted bread. the cruiser fries are also definitely worth giving a try. the only thing i don’t like is that you order at the counter then go find your own table and given it’s a popular place it’s busy a lot of the time, they have a fair amount of seating including outdoor seating but it can still be a struggle to find a seat.
Everything was fine, but we were hoping to see more photos of the menu, and honestly, we only ordered the grilled meats without really knowing what to choose.
Car hop and Car culture go hand in hand hand. So if you’re out cruising with your girl. Stop by Friscos Whittier and get some really good comfort food. Burgers Fries Shakes. We live near by so I enjoy their food frequently. I just love the country chicken salad. The curly fries are great piping hot. The service in side was a bit slow but the decor makes for a very enjoyable time. Just don’t be in a hurry.
This place gives a 1950’s vibe. Wait time was 20-30 min during lunch time. It is inconvenient that your food might be ready when there is still no table available; It’s a first come first serve basis. The chocolate shake tasted salty ( maybe just the way it’s supposed to be flavored?) . Their menu does not offer combos, so you have to order your sides and drinks separately. Burgers are a decent size , but not worth the price of $9 when it’s not even offered in a combo. Their burgers are simple, small, and tasteful. They pair well with Curly fries or their homemade onion rings.

Originally a brand with several sit down and larger locations, with a fifties car hop twist. Was warned ahead of time about this existing forth location being much smaller. Yes, it appears the recent…
I have to say I'm a little disappointed. The food is meh though the shakes are not too bad (I had kiddie rocky road.). There are 2 skaters; the rest of them just walk to your table though they are quite friendly and helpful. The place is different but simple at the same time. Since it's kid and family friendly, the noise level is high.
Location: Okay, Parking: Not Much, Service: Okay, Food Presentation: Okay, Drinks, Designed Sodas, Drive Thru: Yes, Indoor seating: Yes, Outdoor seating: yes, Overall: A first time visit after seeing some ads on social media. Was expecting more and felt it did not live up to the hype. I got a burger and fries and had them inside. The "car tables" is a neat idea, but it seemed a bit big for the space. And not enough table space for many guests. The burgers were pretty basic and, in my opinion, could be revamped with more designer burgers with bigger patties. Now, the fries were good, as well as the signature sodas. So would I go back and try another dish? Yes. But not with great haste. The look can bring them in, but the food will keep em coming. 3 stars for now...
This little spot is adorable. The decor is really cute! The employees greet you with smiles when you walk in!!!! Unfortunately, for us, the food was not great. It was pretty bad, and there is NO table service!!!!! Those servers you see wearing skates just bring out your food. You have to stand in line and order! The website is very misleading in that regard. I gave three stars for service because we were missing a burger, and the lady behind the counter came over to our table to actually see and count our food. Which was odd, shocking, and offensive. Honestly, we just should've gone to In-N-Out!!!!
Trendy 1950s themed burger spot. It's not a diner. You order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. Other than that, there is no real service, which is fine. After we ordered, the food did come at a pretty quick rate, so that's good. They serve burgers, frys, milk shakes, and i believe breakfast options before 12pm. tried thier frosco avocado bacon cheese burger, with a side of chilli cheese frys. I have to say, the burger wasn't to my liking. I get the idea of a Texas toast style bread with parmesan cheese crust. The toast was just so salty it over powered the burger, so much I could really enjoy it. The chilli cheese frys where good; good chilli, very cheese, and Krispy frys. My wife had the chicken Greek pita, they have a funky name for it, and an oreo shake. The pita sandwich was good, she really enjoyed the shake, but felt it could be thicker, she said it was a bit runny. It's a ok place to get a burger, the atmosphere of the place is pretty quite and your just there to eat and be on your way, it's not really a place to hangout.
It's really hard to review this place. From the outside, the restaurant looks dingy and dirty. Everything looks worn out and faded. The food on the other hand... so good. Great burger, great fries/chili cheese fries. The deep fried zucchini is great too. Service was top notch. Super Friendly and well trained. I want to give this place a higher score but the dirtiness its apparent and I have no clue if it translate to the kitchen cleanliness. Would I personally eat here again? Yes, but I also don't mind home kitchen type dirtiness. I can not reccomend it to others though.
The food was pretty good. The first time I went, I ordered the Chipotle bacon cheeseburger, and it was on a sourdough bread. It wasn't too bad, but I think the patty needed a little more flavor, in my opinion, but the fries are amazing. I do recommend going though it's a fun place to dine, especially if you have young/older kids
If you are looking for a diner that’s cute and good for photos this place is just for you. The decor is super fun and takes you back to the 50’s. I’m a Vegan so I was limited to certain foods. I loved their Greek Salad it was fresh and delicious. The onion rings & curly fries were good. They do have an Impossible burger as an option but I can’t eat that. I love milkshakes, they are one of my favorite desserts to indulge in. I can’t have dairy so I wasn’t able to try them. It would be nice if they added more vegan options to their menu. Overall it’s a cool burger joint for family or if you want to go with your friends.
Was very disappointed with the bread for my burger. Was a regular wonder bread with cheese and butter. The Friscos in Puente Hills was much different.

When arriving to the restaurant, it was nearly empty aside from one other table. Firstly, they got our order wrong, where many things were missed. When we received our food, we were never visited to be asked if we needed anything else. Once we finished our food, we decided to get some ice cream. The cashier was having a long conversation with another guest, so it took me a while to order. Once we ordered our ice cream finally, it took like 20 minutes to get to us, which is odd because there were only two customers in the entire restaurant. Overall the food was decently good, but the service was absolutely terrible.
My first impression came as I was attempting to park..realizing how small the lot was. The dining area offers limited seating as they have made room for automotive decor and wide paths for the roller skating servers. All menu items are listed as a la carte.. no “Combos”. The burgers appeared to be of thin frozen type that are char broiled. The Chocolate malts were made with way too much chocolate syrup… the best part of the whole experience was the french fries 🍟
Not impressed. They advertise CarHop, and only one girl on skates delivering food. We had our food delivered by the girl who cooked our order, and she had no skates. Then, our shake came out 10mins after our food. What part of eating hamburgers and drinking shakes do you not understand. Food was OK, but I won't be back.
The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was very nice. I was very disappointed with the burgers. Not for me but people who like it love it here.
One of the worst burgers I’ve ever had in my life. The cheese was melted. Button was dry. The patty was dry. It was just awful.
I drove 2 hours to try this place out for my sisters birthday and I could of just went to a basic burger joint and got better service and food. First of all there was a hair in my mom’s burger and when I asked for a new one they quickly assured me they would make a new one but I guess they forgot about us. I had to go remind them about my mom’s burger well the manger gave me attitude. didn’t even give me eye contact as she was irritated by me asking for my mom’s burger that I paid for. To top it off by the time they gave me my mom’s burger we were all done with our food .my mom’s fries were cold and she had to eat in a rush. All bad Horrible service from management overpriced food not that great The only good experience was our 2 waitresses. Other than that I have nothing to say but the manager with red long hair and rubber bands all over her ponytails was very unprofessional.
Menu on online website says French toast combo is 8.99. I got charged 11.99 plus tax which is 13.25 False advertising. I only received one single napkin! Received no maple syrup. (Which also happened last time) French toast flooded in butter I feel bad for the owners Every time I come here it’s a horrible experience. Owner/management train and manage your employees. Bacon smelled and tasted unpleasant
The theme is a great idea, very 1950s vibes and the food is good, not incredible but good with a decent price. The only problem I had with this restaurant was that it didn't seem very well kept, while sitting at my booth the floor was sticky and when looking around the area was not very clean either. Noticing this I didn't feel very comfortable sitting at my table but my dad seemed to of enjoyed this place, I wouldn't highly recommend this restaurant but with some cleaning and maintenence it could be amazing!
I have been here twice. First time I was here food and service was good. I came today for the second time. The worst service I have ever had. I ordered my food at 12:14 I didn’t get my food till 12:56 after I asked how much longer for my food. Idk why they took so long. The people that order after me got their order before I did. When my food did arrive half of the stuff I ordered was cold and my burger was soggy and seemed like it was sitting there for a while. And my order was still wrong when I got it. But I didn’t want to say anything to wait for my food again. Sorry but this experience makes me not want to come back.
Our first time there, was exited for the experience the 50's ambiance vibe, BUT we WERE GREATLY DISAPPOINTED... as we walked in we had to place our order at the front counter, (would have prefer to…

Horrible service. Waited like 15 min to get someone to help us. Wonder why its dead. I see why. It's ugly decorations too from like party city. This place is a joke and prices are ridiculous not wo…
We waited for over an hour and watched 3 other people who arrived after us to be served before us. One of the workers was helpful and let us know how to be seated while another said “what’s open is open”. We’ve never been in the area before so we didn’t know what to expect. We asked for a table number and didn’t receive one. Our order said it would be ready at a specific time and 30 minutes later we still haven’t been served.
The breakfast burrito was great, like always. 1 star is due to place starting lack upkeep and cashier seemed overwhelmed and unprepared. maybe they need to hire more people.
Very rarely do I feel I have to be so blunt with any establishment but unfortunately, this one is in my opinion a clear 100% thumbs down. For starters, they have very limited seating. The food came out scattered and cold. It was mediocre at best. No positive vibe here, dirty restrooms, limited upkeep, one girl on skates, and the backend cook scurried out with the food. It was disorganized and the staff was standing around like zombies, less than attentive MIA felt like a shabby, rundown circus. Truly not worth the hype. Hope they step up their game. That was our take on it. (Party of 5 adults 2 kids). By the way, we let the manager Amanda know how we felt. She assured us the store manager would contact us. Sad to say NO call to this day.
Drive twenty minutes to get four bacon breakfast burritos. Drive twenty minutes back home. Open up those burritos to find no bacon. Bummer but not end of world. Call and ask for manager and Arturo the horrible manager gets on the phone. Request either replacement or price difference next time down that way. Instead of doing smart thing and apologizing and saying no worries will take down order number and name so when come in know who you are says first bring them down now. We said are you nuts not making another drive that way just for that but will next few days next time come down. Then had nerve to ask to send photos. I went off and let him know that I will send photos but what a horrible manager move over couple dollars. We immediately sent five photos (four burritos and the receipt). Then for hours we tried to call he never picked up the phone again. Tried calling again today and apparently they have blocked our number. So I am now on a mission to tell the world about Friscos Whittier and their horrible manager Arturo. Hope the couple bucks was worth never getting our business again (at least once a month we would go grab our four -seven burritos) as well as the business they will lose , even if it’s just one potential client , that reads about this horrible business. There are many other choices in Whittier to have a burrito where customer service is great and my advice is to chose another place to eat.
Hi, I visited today around 6pm and very very disappointed about the services provided. As soon as I walked in there was a dule atmosphere and the lady working seemed very rude and uninterested in her job. We saw this place on tiktoc and was very interested in visiting as we are on holiday in america from England. We saw that the food was brought to the table in roller skates, which is what Intrested us to visit,to our disappointment it wasn’t. As our food arrived I noticed there was tomato’s in my chicken burger even though I asked for it to be without as I am allergic. The chicken in the chicken burger was also very dry and tough to eat. As we were leaving the same girl was sat at the front behind the counter doing her makeup which we found unprofessional and unhygienic being a restaurant.
Ordered fries and tenders and they were drenched in oil. It was the most disgusting thing ever how was I supposed to eat that. I also ordered zucchini and they were soggy. Arturo was the cook and gave terrible service. I will not be coming back thanks to him and I recommend you stay away from any place he’s cooking. I’ve never had a problem from any other cooks Only him.
Found out about this place on Instagram and was nearby. It was empty so the service was pretty fast and all the servers were nice. Unfortunately the pastrami sandwich I got was overwhelmingly salty, to the point that it was inedible. According to the cook, they don’t make the pastrami in house, they just cut it and serve it. Asked for a refund which they didn’t mind doing for me but they refunded me the cost of the fries and the drink and not the sandwich itself. Probably won’t be coming back. Positive note: the fries were crispy and tasty, no complaints.
