Kewl rustic atmosphere. They have unique beverages even for non alcoholic selection. I had the fish and chips, which came out great. Not a fan of the tartar sauce, but a squeeze of lemon did the trick. Fries fresh cut, and the coleslaw is unique- garlic based I believe. Not my thing but I don't like coleslaw... I'm sure those that do would like the new twist they provide. My feller had the Steak, which was seared to perfection with great distinguished grill marks. Salad was fresh and crisp! The appetizer we got was the firecracker shrimp. Very excellent and tasty! Our server was Taylor, whom did a phenomenal job! Not TOO attentive, but not disregarding either- thank you for a great experience!

Stopped for happy hour for some food and drinks. Our party had the Prime Rib Sliders (2) and fries 🍟, the Chicken 🐔 Sliders (2) and fries...and finally the hamburger 🍔 Sliders (2) and fries...$9. Also had drink specials on the happy hour menu. Everything was excellent 👌 👏.

Went for Happy Hour and got a few appetizers to share… got the Short Rib Poutine, Chicken Sliders, and one each of the Margherita and Pepperoni Flatbreads. Filling, and well priced. Simply wonderful.

This place was great! Really enjoyed eating on the patio. The service was great! Fish and chips were very crispy. Would definitely recommend a visit!

The atmosphere here is amazing. We dressed casually, but there were also people there in suits and dresses, so anything goes. The food was good and the service was great. This would be a great choice for a date night or a family dinner. They take reservations, and they fill up fast at meal times so I recommend one.

Perfect Venue For My Daughter’s Bridal Shower! Marg, one of the managers, could not have been more accommodating, kind, and just present for anything and everything. She was available through text as needed before the event, which to me is priceless when planning such a big event. She met with us two times and took down notes and even made a drawing of what we wanted as far as set up so that it would be ready for us on that day. She also allowed us to bring in whatever we wanted to decorate. Marg responded to our text on the morning of the event and made sure the doors were unlocked for us to set up. She made arrangements to allow us to drop off some things the night before the shower and store them in the Burntwood office and then helped us carry them up to the loft area as we were setting up! On the day of our shower, she made every step of the way so easy for us. Marg made sure that our waitresses were up there ready to help! I have to say, we had two amazing waitresses, Emily and Emily! The two Emilys were very helpful, polite and did an exceptional job serving and taking care of the entire party. There were many times they had to run downstairs to bring things to us and they did it with smiles on their faces. I also have to mention the breakfast/brunch food was delicious and fresh! We had waffles, eggs, bacon, crunchy potatoes, fruit, muffins and danish, They offered a mimosa bar as well at a reasonable cost. It turned out to be such a beautiful and fun wedding shower for my daughter. Everyone raved about it! It would not have been possible without Marg’s organization and the accommodating staff at this venue. One more shout-out to another manager, Dillon. He was also very helpful with answering questions and confirming some things in the planning part of this event when Marg was not in. The price of the event was just right and I would not hesitate to go back to this particular Burntwood (in Brecksville) for any future event! Amazing managers and just a great venue for any occasion! One suggestion…. Wish there would have been elevator access or maybe a ramp for those who could not use stairs to get up to the beautiful loft area.

Delicious!!! The food was amazing. The atmosphere was relaxed and warm. Definitely going back. Only criticism...when we walked in there were 4 hostesses standing there doing nothing and it was a little off putting. I'm sure because it wasn't incredibly busy but made us a bit hesitant out of the gate. The food and bartender totally turned it into a great experience.

I want to give a huge thank you to Jenisis and team for coordinating and assisting at my daughter’s bridal shower event at Burntwood in Brecksville. The event space, service and food was amazing. The team was extremely accommodating in every way! The rustic decor of the space was perfect for the bridal shower wine theme. I could not have been more happy with how the event turned out. The bride and guests had a wonderful time!

I got the "breakfast burger", so I dubbed it since it came stacked with bacon and eggs, and it did not disappoint! The fried smashed potatoes were buttery, crispy, melt in your mouth goodness. Service was good, drinks did not go empty. The atmosphere is a modern take on an old tavern with a rich and storied history.

Nice place. Very good drinks and food. Food was properly prepared and the waitress was very nice. There was eight of us in our party and everyone was happy with their meal.

Awesome building. Food is good. Happy hour is fantastic! Update: still a great location years later. Burntwood Burger is amazing. Get the firecracker shrimp as an appetizer.

Went here on a date and had a great time. I ordered the salmon salad and it was amazing! My date ordered the asiago chicken and it tasted amazing as well. To top things off, the waitress actually gave us both complimentary glasses of the rosé my date ordered to drink. That was extremely nice of that waitress and made for a lovely evening!

I have been here several times and have never had a bad meal or drink. My husband and I have had a lovely dinner under a little "tent" in the dinning room but most of the time my other friends and I eat in the bar. In the summer the covered patio area is wonderful. The inside bar is so cozy with the wood fireplace. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Try a Tito's vodka mule. Super yummy. The avocado wrap is a little boring but the spicey shrimp are delicious. The Burntwood burger is very good. We were so hungry we started eating before I got pics.lol

The Bartender was exceptional and always ready to take another order. Waitress was on top of her game. Right there to fill glasses with water, coffee refills and drinks, that was not in the Bridal shower menu.

If there’s a place that offers a breakfast burger at 5pm, you’re automatically getting at least 4 stars. Burntwood Tavern had something for everyone which is always a challenge, but especially when there’s children and a party involved. But this place had everything, the drinks were great, the service was solid and so was the decor. Definitely recommend if you can’t think of a place to go, or looking for a restaurant with ample seating for a celebration.

What a great evening! Valet parking, excellent service and a wonderful atmosphere! The restaurant is Cozy post and beam construction. Several rooms with an English pub feel. I had the potato tots appetizer and Fish and Chips for the entree, both were great. Not too much batter, not over fried and... not too oily. I loved the coleslaw with a touch of horseradish. Very good meal. We will certainly eat here again.

Went there for a Retirement Party! How wonderful was our waitress! We got complimentary Champagne! Our food was sent out timely and it was delish! No doubt about it...I will definitely come back!

Absolutely wonderful experience! The service was fantastic, and the food was AMAZING! I'm hosting my daughter's baby shower here, and the staff has been incredibly helpful every step of the way—patiently answering all my questions and making the planning process smooth and enjoyable. I truly can’t wait to come back and leave another glowing review after the shower. Highly recommend!

Today I attended a group meeting upstairs at Burntwood Tavern. The menu options were a bit limited for the event, but I ended up having a burger, and it was honestly really good. It was cooked just right and made me want to come back to try more from their full menu. Our server, Andrew, was amazing. He’s one of the nicest young people I’ve ever met. I see other reviews mention him, and I completely understand why, he’s so friendly and has such a sweet personality. I jokingly told him he needs to demand a raise. I’ll definitely be back on my own to check out more of the menu. If the rest of the food is as good as that burger, I’m excited to see what else they’ve got!

Came in for a hosted holiday party. The service was remarkable and the food was perfect. Drinks never ran dry, and the serving table was kept topped off. Highly recommended for corporate events.

I am a blind American veteran and we took a trip to Burntwood Tavern in Cleveland with the whole crew of grandkids. Tara was our server and she was amazing she told my grandpa what everything on the menu was like, brought the kids little things to keep them happy, and told us a cool story about a faraway place that had us all listening. The food was tasty (cooking staff is amazing, didn't get their names!) and honest, the place felt warm and easy, and my grandpa left her a big tip because she treated us like family. I’m not a writer or anything, I’m just a kid who saw how happy she made him. This was written by my grandchild.

The short ribs were dry the drinks were ok. Atmosphere was cool it was nice looking restaurant very interesting. The appetizers were good but the thing I don’t like about Burntwood is they don’t offer any bread. The food could have been better but the atmosphere was cool

My husband and I came here for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. We got the BWT Smash Burger and the Burntwood Burger, along with a house salad and some BBQ wings. The burgers were well made and well seasoned and pretty tasty and the chicken wings and salad were delicious. Whatever was in that Sweet and Sour vinegrette, I'll take a whole bottle please! The chicken wings were tender and juicy. The French fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned deliciously. The portions looked small when they brought out our food but looks can be deceiving because we both needed boxes to take home our leftovers. The atmosphere was nice; rustic and cozy, and we even got a table by the window with a curtain draped above us. All in all we would return. Thank you to our server, Chaz, who was friendly, accommodating, and informative.

A single mature woman, I was seated in the far corner of the restaurant - farthest from any activity (kitchen, bathroom, exit) yet directly outside a meeting room with poorly closed pocket doors, so that I could enjoy the shouting of the male speaker for my entire meal. The table was disgustingly sticky (disgusting to me, a tactile person who cleans her own home) so I had to capture the menu and use it as a place mat. The server was a nice, informative lady who confirmed my "excellent" choice of nachos - have to admit that the tortilla chips for the tuna nachos appeared to be made in house, vs from a bag; the tuna was perfectly cooked and dressed with cilantro, etc - a very pretty, tasty meal; and I so enjoyed a teeny serving of dessert (it's quite rare, but I'm so appreciative, when I can get a taste of something sweet, not an entire serving that I feel compelled to eat yet hate myself after, because I feel sick ...). So the meal was a win-win, service good, atmosphere poopy. I'd go again, but I would ask to sit elsewhere.

Nice tavern great food. Good atmosphere. Definitely try the calamari or tuna nachos as your appetizer. If you like seafood of coarse.

Pot stickers were very good. However, your signature salad leaves much to be desired. A restaurant salad should not be shredded iceberg lettuce that looks like it came out of a bag Please use better lettuce.

I really enjoyed reconnecting with an old friend here. We sat by the fireplace, had an excellent meal and drinks. Irina took great care of us and we’ll definitely be back.

Ve visited on the evening of Friday, 10/3. Our waitress was great! A bit talkative, but her service was good. Drinks were ok. I was expecting my Peachy Keen to pack a little more umph, but it was nothing more than a fruity spritzer. The trout that I ordered tasted old and as if they masked that with sauce. Wasn’t a fan. The steak we ordered medium rare had the appearance of tuna- very jelly in the center. The ambiance of this restaurant is very cozy and neat. I would probably return, but would definitely not order these options again.

Has so much potential, incredibly disappointed to see so many tables around us that weren't bussed / cleared off. Took a long time to get a server and just overall slower service. Possible just the neighborhood. The food was good but not a lot of vegetarian options, but we knew that before getting there.

The outside of the restaurant needs repair on the stucco and also repainting. It looks very worn and somewhat dirty. The inside of the restaurant was very clean though. I was surprised that the food was just not very good, because it had been great in the past. I got the chicken Dijon and I did not really enjoy the chicken; it was sliced too thin and was a little tough. The vegetables were strange and there was some long thin type of vegetable that I was unable to even cut with my knife. The service was very friendly and polite.

C
Charisse Oglesby

The service was very good, however my calamari was over cooked and my crispy shrimp tacos were on the burned side. My lobster bisque was very sloppy with the bisque spilled all over the side of the bowl. There were only a few people here on a Tuesday at 3:30pm.

There appeared to be only one or two waitstaff working. They were doing their best to keep up. The delay in receiving our meal seemed to be from the kitchen.

We have been to this location many times, but tonight was odd. The hostess seemed like she was having a bad day and never smiled and ended having a server seat us. Then a waitress waited on the table to our right, then took the orders of the table on our left who came in after us, ignoring us completely. Another waitress finally came over and offered to take care of us. The food was great, but except for our waitress, Katie, all the other waitstaff looked like they didn't want to be here. Sevice on the floor seemed very disorganized.

Honestly my family doesn't complain and send food back but we had a 17 people party yesterday and most of the food tasted like cheap bar food. The fries were straight trash. Tasted like they were cooked a half hour earlier and double dipped. They were hard and flavorless. The waiter was spectacular! I blame the kitchen on this one. Not one of the 17 said they would come back. You're pricey, do better. The place was pretty much empty so you should not had a problem. But overall I was disappointed your other locations tasted so much better. I'll just go to them in the future. You're simply not worth it.

Good service and amazing atmosphere although my jambalaya tasted like it came from a microwaved package and our southwest chicken salad tasted had a stale lattuce that smelled bad. Overall, food was terrible.

Food was pretty good. But $8 for a high noon and $12 for a single (measured) Makers Mark is beyond ridiculous.

Mother's day buffet. I have eaten at Solon and Cuyahoga Falls Brentwood Tavern. Excellent buffet, excellent food. We had 9 people, a $500 dollar table. We sat at tables with no table cloths, no salt & pepper. We had to ask for a server while servers stood chatting. The prime rib was extremely rare. You were not asked how you wanted your prime rib i.e. rare medium medium rare, thin sliced thick sliced etc. You only had RARE. And, who separates their meat station from the entre? The entres were in the bar! (?). Veggies cold never stirred or replaced. We left food it was so bad. No tongs for salads, no spoon for fruit. One person ordered a bloody mary, it taste as though it was watered down tomato juice with no vodka or spices, i.e. Worchestshire, celery, hot sauce and no garnish, i.e. celery stick lemon or olives. We sent it back. Jordan, general manager, was rude, nasty and obnoxious but our server Andrew did the best he could do considering the situation, 3 floors, he had the upstairs dining room as well as our 1 table on the patio (who does that?!) We were told that because there were 3 more large parties coming in they were switching things out replacing prime rib with steak because they were running out. One person went for the steak and it was like chewing shoe leather. The desserts, well I don't even want to talk about that. Dried up donuts. The manager needs a visit to HR. I've worked in the restaurant are prior, setting up buffets etc. terrible set up. If my buffets were set up like this one, I would not have heard the end of it. Also, I notice a review concerning the Easter buffet, your response was "we will correct this" . It's evident that you haven't looked into anything. The manager, Jordan, again obnoxious, rude, and in your face. When asked to speak with her in private, she refused and stood in the open where people could hear. This is the worse restaurant experience I and my party have ever had. And, it was Mother's Day. Where were the warm, loving and pretty decorations for the buffet, welcoming mothers?

WOW this is expensive for bad food! Cold rubber steak, really bad food. Cool building! I would recommend spending your money on better food.

Worst service ever. I was with a group of 10 and I asked for no tomato's on the tacos because I’m allergic. When it came out with tomato's, i obviously sent it back.. I sat there while everyone ate and still had no food in front of me. I had to ask for it to go at that point. 15 minutes later and still no food…. I literally got up and left.

This place used to be fantastic. No longer. Not crowded anymore, The waitress service was bad as if they didn't care. And the food for all six of us in our party was terrible. My chicken with pasta was burnt and dry, and however their pasta sauce is made was really bad thick like peanut butter. Everyone else's meal each said was bad. Most never finished there's and all had something different. Also there's a strong musty smell in whole place that isn't pleasant My dad used to be the chef there in the late 60s when spanish tavern. No comparison now. Seems there letting everything go downhill and eventually close.
