They were VERY friendly! The manager gave my son a free mini ice cream cone (we didn't ask for a sample, she just did it), and one of the crew talked to us about Pokémon (the Happy Meal theme right now) while he was sweeping the floor. It was just a great experience overall!

Drove in from out of town a caramel frappe . The lady behind the counter was very friendly and very cheerful at 10 at night.

Drive through was super busy & it was late on a Saturday, but employees were still very polite,on top of things and you could tell they were working hard to get orders out in a timely manner. I ordered two apple pies and they only had one out & ready. They offered another flavor or a whole different product instead. So you could also tell they just wanted to make the customer happy.

It's fast food so for fast food it was good. It was hot and as ordered.service was nice . Good experience young man wasn't sure if 2 of my things were in bag I ordered quite a bit. So he was bringing two over as she was getting ready to give me the bag. They were missing so I was grateful they tossed them in even though they weren't sure if they were doubling me up on product or not. Thanks!!!!!

Food was hot, fresh, tasty. It’s sometimes rare to have fresh and hot “everything” as I feel you often sacrifice cold fries for a hot sandwich. Or vice versa. Seems that’s hard for kitchens to time properly. Not the case here, so that was a plus. Also, the nice lady (Lavaughan, maybe ?) was so sweet and kind. Was helping everyone so genuinely and pleasantly. What a gem! My only complaint was the abundance of flies in the dining room. Probably not much you can do - but it was very (extremely) annoying to battle 50 of them for my Big Mac! Ha!

McDonald's is McDonald's... what more can I say. Their main attribute is consistency. I love their fries and the Big Mac. The other items are just okay. Service was acceptable.

This is one of the cleaner McDonald’s I’ve been to. The food is always fast and fresh, served by adequate staff who don’t seem to hate their jobs/lives like so many fast food workers these days. Overall, not too bad for stopping at when we travel south.

The service was super friendly and fast. All of our food came out correctly and was yummy! The one gal working at the time, that I could see, was Britany. There were a few other super friendly gals, but I didn't catch their names. The bathrooms that they share with the gas station, however, we're filthy and disgusting.

A McDonald's, what else is there to say. The food is okay, the order is wrong half the time but the price isn't bad.

The young man cashier was less then polite and had no greeting. Just took the card and returned it. Was sloppy, uncombed hair and had a green bin uniform shirt on. Not impressed. Other McDonald's are full of greetings and especially in the morning when folks need to hear and see a happy face as they face their day.

Honestly wasn't too impressed. Not very clean and the food was not good. I had ordered chicken tenders and when I bit into them, it was hard to pull away from the tender. They were chewy and not very pleasant to eat. The mango pineapple smoothy was great though. Service was okay, but not fantastic.

Can be fast they fixed my order but lied to me as well. Didn't want to give my daughter the cup they were advertising even though they had them she said she didn't want to open another box for her I went thru and bought already. Just the toy not the meal.

This McDonald's (on Central in Carthage) is often one of the worst in the whole area (Southwest Missouri). Slow and inefficient. Frequently makes a whole bunch of people wait on orders because they aren't keeping things (like, say, fries!) ready. Now everyone has to wait while someone cooks fries. So you get that situation where everyone is standing around, waiting for one person to do one particular job. I mean, c'mon, McDonald's! Everyone is going to order fries. Keep some ready for, you know, the people who are going to actually order fries, maybe? Think about it.

They are okay I only like a couple of the employees here most of them are very very rude but Candice is absolutely awesome always polite when she takes my order in the drive thru. But I fortunately most everyone else is not as nice and take forever to get your order and they have messed up my order or forgotten something way to many times. So even though I live closer to this location most of the time I will drive across town to go to the other one if my kids just absolutely refuse to go anywhere else.

They handed me my friends coffee so I gave it to him and I grabbed mine, the employee snatched it out of my hand and said it wasn’t mine.. the number matched the bag and it was the coffee I ordered so I knew it was mine. Had to Point to menu to have the lady understand I wanted a mocha caramel coffee large, she kept saying so you want an ice coffee? . .. ... Rar! Also it took 15 minutes at least to get my order! The only reason I rated 2 stars was the pleasant recovery attempt at positive customer service by a woman, named deserie I think. She presented me a photo worthy presentation of a bag with the appropriate utensils, condiments, ETC, in perfect order! What she did as well was present it to me with such a warm, personable, and pleasant approach, it sweetened the sour feel I had up til then.

Went through a couple days ago and a young man working the drive-thru had the longest dirtiest fingernails I've seen in a while. Super disgusting. How a manager let's somebody work with nails like that, let alone working with the public is unfathomable to me.

The espresso and chicken nuggets are pretty okay. But why put ice cream on every McDonald's picture to entice you when we all know the ice cream machine is always broken? Just go to Sonic for that. They will screw up your order also, but at least you have a chance of getting some ice cream.

Ordered the cheeseburger deluxe meal that on the sign that said that they don't make it after 10:00 and then when I got my sandwich to lettuce with shredded instead of a piece of leaf like it is in the picture the Patty look like a McDouble Patty placed it took him about 15 to 25 minutes to get my order out I was in a hurry because of personal reasons but I guess that doesn't really matter literally my sandwich was put together so poorly that it fell apart of my hands with mayonnaise and ketchup dripping all over me my girlfriend put it while you just said it was a mess but the atmosphere of the restaurant since it was connected to the gas station was simple and satisfying somewhat I like to get more details versions of my reviews whenever things just aren't right

Go there pretty regularly as it's not far from my work. The employees working there during the mornings and right after noon are always kind and professional and I almost never have a problem with my food. The night team however really need to get it in gear, going through the window you'll hear the people inside screaming and swearing at each other and it's a toss up if you get anything correct on your order. I would definitely give the place a 4/5 if it was just the day crew but the night crew hold the place back.

I gave it a 2 star ⭐ because I'm from out of town & when I first pulled up in the drive-thru it had two speaker in the same driveway. Im thinking to myself "one must be broken" so McDonald's just build another one along beside it. Oh no, it's wasn't broken, it worked. The is u can't hear what the employee are saying to you, because you hear everything the other employee is saying to the customer 🤦‍♀️ so I get out of line to go inside. Omg, that was even worst. I go place my order up at the front registers & the lady didn't know that much english ( not mad at her knowing little english ) but the employee got my whole order wrong 😡. I'm not racist at all, but if McDonald's going to put foreigners up on the front registers or drive- thru then they should know a little more english. But I'm very satisfied with the manager who came to help & corrected the situation. 💯

It took like 30 to 40 minutes to get my order which was only 2 meals and 3 drinks. Which I can understand cause it was pretty busy, but I got a frappe and a slushie and by the time we got them they were half melted, which we had to ask for them cause they gave us our food with no drinks, I forgot to ask for my other drink so I never got it. I ordered a Big Mac tonight after a 10 hour drive at the drive thru, went home and i opened the box took the top bun off to re align pattys when a bug crawled right out of my one of the patty layers. Would not recommend and i will probably not eat McDonald’s ever again anywhere after that .

The workers always do their best with what they're working with, but there's always something. 🥺 I love to explain/excuse away minor indiscretions with the benefit of the doubt, but this place has no love, no loyalty recognition, and poor morale. When bad experiences become a trend, there's something wrong in-house. I always associated McDonald's with joyful workers who are glad you chose to eat there, but now it's seems to them to be a bother when you're walking in to order, and that reflects badly on the overall atmosphere there. Something's amiss; I just wish it was a pleasant place to go to anymore. This was an issue long before the pandemic. I hope it gets much better and that customer service comes back stronger than before, otherwise they're losing more than money, they're losing loyalty and respect from the community that patrons them.

The facility is clean and most of the employees are smiley and polite but there is one girl on the evening shift that I've had bad experiences from every time she's been the one at the window. Her name starts with a J and she was cleaning her nails over my drink, then wiped her nose and had scratched her head all in the process of handling my son's happy meal which she didn't quite make into the container after she just dumped them in she proceeded to take the same hands she had been doing said things and touching the food. Another visit she was there and someone was making a drink with whipped topping and she came over and flicked it off the drinks then went on about her process.

Waited almost 30 mins for my food. The whole time I watched the 2 boys on the meat line playing, talking and eating on line. While several people was waiting on burgers and chicken nuggets. The 1 manager running back and forth to the office calling people. Buns was dry, fries was cold. Cashier said she couldn't bag my food because she had to stay on cash register. No one was in line waiting to order food. And that was this week. Last week they told me to go to stall 3 and wait un drive through. Finally went in and asked about my food. It's McDonald's, is a review really necessary to tell you what to expect? I always figured that greasy burgers fixed exactly how you told them NOT to, cold unsalted fries, and 20 minute waits in the drive-thru were just standard operating procedure for the chain. I only eat there out of a lack of a better choice. One positive thing: they have the best mixture setting for Coca-Cola.

The manager was late getting in, so the restaurant was delayed in opening. I only have a few minutes to get my order and get to work, so I went without it, and I'm probably better off. The lobby has no air conditioning. It is hotter inside, than it is outside. The service is fairly quick, but the food quality suffers because of this. You are better off ordering your sandwiches with toppings and condiments on the side, because that is where they put them in the wrappers. I feel sorry for the workers, no one should have to work indoors under those conditions.

Took 30 minutes to get my order and they forgot to bring my drinks and one sandwich was missing as well. I did curbside and called to check what was taking so long and they said they were bagging it. Then we waited at least another 5 minutes. Very frustrating. Never going to do curbside again! They neglect the curbside and push out the drive thru. Even if there’s like 10 cars behind you. What’s the point of curbside and using the app if you’re not actually skipping the line like they advertise??? Then we went through the drive thru to get a few things fresh for my husband at home and we waited like 10 minutes before they even got on the intercom and the guy rolled his eyes when we asked for napkins. They made us pull up after the window and then a big truck also had to pull up. Then they served the big truck their food behind us and saw us sitting there and asked what we ordered. I guess they forgot? Then my daughter goes inside to check on our food and the wonder argues with her about how he already brought our cookies out but we didn’t get them. Then we see a lady walking up from the curbside pickup with the box of OUR cookies that the brought out to them. So then they hand them over. Like I want my food going to someone else’s car before I get it. Gross.

Went to meet a friend there. He had gotten there five minutes earlier and ordered and it took 20 minutes to get his food to him. I waited. Five minutes made eye contact with four different employees but no one came up to take my order. A young girl came up and asked me what I wanted and I told her I need the manager‘s phone number. She said well you’ll have to look that up on Google. Then another employee came out and just said what do you want in a bad tone. I told her I wanted the manager’s number. I asked her three different times and her reply was always like well. What do you want. I finally got the number but never got to order my food either. I’ve seen other reviews and this is not I repeat not an anomaly. The service at this place actually deserves a zero.

Stopped here to grab a quick bite to eat on my way home from a camping trip. I needed something really bad. I get there and ask about the minute maid slush and they tell me they dont have lemonade even though this slush is the biggest thing on their menu. After the miss understanding I tried to order a mcdouble. They are out of the meat. Order a Big Mac no sesame seed buns. Okay. I ask for just the sandwich then they ask what I want to drink for a combo. Didnt want a combo I wanted the slush I asked for originally. Had to go through that again. Finally get to pay for it. Seems pricey at $7 but alright. Get the meal and it has fries which I couldn't eat I wasnt hungry for them and my slush was pathetically filled. Honestly this is a management problem if food isnt being ordered to keep inventory kept to allow for orders and employees cant be trained to know the menu and prep the food to full expectation your doing a horrible job. And this is just a truck stop is a horrible excuse. Do better.
