Always a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere here as well as good, fresh and tasty artfully created fare here. The staff is very attentive. Everything about Kumo is clean and beautiful. We keep coming back because of it.

Everything always tastes fresh. You can tell the dishes are prepared with care. I have fish allergies, but I pop a zyrtec just to enjoy this establishments delicious treats.

This Asian fusion restaurant offers traditional Chinese,Japanese, and Thai style dishes. Their sushi is very good and they use quality ingredients. Their general tsao chicken actually resembles chicken compared to some other typical Chinese restaurants. May be a little pricey but you get what you pay for.

My husband and I love coming here. One of our low key night and order a bottle of the plum wine. If we don't finish we can take the bottle home.

Love this place but most importantly my kids who can be picky eaters love this place! The food is always fresh and delicious! Staff always works with you to try and give you exactly what you want. The service staff is wonderful! Always clean. No waiting for a table when you go. They have parking which is important. Only thing negative for me are their desserts. Every time I eat this sushi I ascend to the heavens. If I had money to eat out everyday, this would be my choice. For sushi, or even just any restaurant, its very reasonably priced. Can get three sushi rolls, a side of rice, and a drink all for under 20 dollars. I’ve done dining in, take out, and delivery. For every one the service and cook time is amazingly short. I once ordered from them, and they were here before I was ready to eat (under 10 minuets to get to my house). While dining in, the staff is incredibly friendly. Even when busy, they make sure to come and fill out water often.

I have ordered from here multiple times on grub hub and the fish is fresh, clean and it’s always prepared correctly. Love this place so much. If you’re looking to have incredible sushi order/get from here.

Love Kumo. My husband and I regularly eat there. It's a small restaurant so there's always great service and the waitresses are always very nice. Sometimes the rolls aren't as tight as I like them, but the food is always delicious. If you go during the winter I'd definitely recommend wearing a sweater b/c the tables near the door are very chilly. The prices are great and we've never had to wait for a table.

KUMO GOT ME THROUGH BAR EXAM PREP! I had kumo multiple times a week while at home studying for the bar exam for two months straight and every time I was so happy because the food is delicious. I even decided that the lunch special chicken terriakyi was what I’d have for the first day of the Bar Exam, so my dad picked it up and brought it to the hotel I was taking it in in Uniondale during my lunch break. I cannot recommend this place enough. Their lunch specials are reasonably priced & portioned.

The food is always fresh. The servers are pleasant. The atmosphere is calm, with soft music, but the decor is plain. Nothing to talk about. However, I'm they for the food. That's always good.

I thought all of the reviews were fake, but they are real. The food was excellent the staff was efficient and extremely pleasant. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. I'm so glad we discovered this place.

I have ONLY positive things to say about this place it really is a hidden gem.. food is always fresh especially the sushi.. but you must try their other food items.. most importantly you can not beat the price 10$ for 2 rolls plus soup and salad.. or the $10 sesame chicken with a side of white rice soup and salad?! And like I said it’s really good!!! They have so many other options to choice from and bonus tip.. LUNCH SPECIAL IS ALL WEEK! Give it a try; I promise you they won’t disappoint. Kumo Sushi is my go to for all sushi needs. It is placed perfectly between West Hempstead and Franklin Square. Their decorative Japanese decor brings an Osaka like experience to customers. I’ve been ordering here for years, they also offer Maki, Bento Boxes, and other Japanese cuisines. Their craft really specializes in hand and special rolls. Feels like eating at a Michelin restaurant.

YES PLEASE……..Today was my first time at Kumo, and they did NOT disappoint! 10 outta 5. I came all the way from Brooklyn, and it was sooooooo worth it. The place was clean, the service was A1, and the food was amazing. The lady who took my order even brought my order out to my car. Lump delivers quality product, peaceful vibe, and positive spirits that make it a staple on my diet. Like I MUST consume Kumo at least once a week. Preferably one of the lunch bento box specials. Staff courtesy as usual. Food was very good. Total bill come to about $100 for 3 ppl with main dishes for each and 2 side dishes. The fried Oyster was very fresh, highly recommended. The fried soft shelled crab was pretty good too, just a bit too much flour. $12.95 for a big bowl of udon beef soup with fresh vegetables was worth every penny. But the beef could be better as it was thin, dry and very hard. Sushi and Sashimi dishes were all very well made. We would highly recommend this restaurant. We have personally been here like 4+ times already.

As a recent heart transplant recipient, I am not allowed to have raw foods anymore, which is like telling a fish not to swim. So... have to make adjustments for cooked options at my fav sushi 🍣 spots. Glad I stopped by today and picked up the aptly named #YummyRoll and the seafood 🍤 pineapple 🍍 fried rice 🍚 😋 👌🏾 🙂 🙌🏾 😀 Everything was delicious, served quickly and with smiles on everyone's faces. I'll definitely be back.

This is my go to place for “any 3 rolls” sushi lunch special. However, I’ve been coming less and less because of how they’ve increased the price. Also, sometimes they’re inconsistent with the quality of food. I got the yummy roll, which has shrimp tempura inside it… but the tempura wasn’t crunchy at all - just mushy. So the whole texture of the roll is kinda ruined by soggy tempura

Just ran in quick as a test run. Got 2 orders of sushi to go, each had 2 white fish, 2 salmon, and a tuna. Wasn't crazy about the cuts of white fish, but now i know. Came to about 15 bucks total. Place was busy and clean and modern looking. Would definitely go back and try their specially rolls.

Great selection of Sushi for a decent price. We got 6 Sushi rolls,(~$5 each) a specialty Godzilla roll($10) and some sashimi ($2.50). It’s really hard to decide on a sushi spot, I’m pretty picky when it comes to it. I’ll probably be back, it was clean and the Service was really attentive. Only 4 stars because it took like 30mins for our food to come out.

Ordered through their website and 25 min later the food arrived at my doorstep. It was tasty. Generous portions. No complaints!

Was looking for a new sushi spot & found it. Great location. Very spacious restaurant with a nice atmosphere. 🦋 the quality of food was very good. Everything we got felt very fresh. 🦋 our waitress last night seemed overwhelmed, we had to keep trying hard to get her attention. 🦋 so we got the maki combo to start & we chose option B with miso soup, it was very good. 🦋 from the special rolls we got the the -Tiffany Roll . So delicious! It’s heavy, but very good. -sushi sandwich - it was good, but it needed something crispy to hold & feel it…felt very mushy eating it…so it wasn’t a pleasant experience -drank hot tea Overall definitely recommend!

Not sure what all the rave is about. I went for lunch. The place was empty. It’s pretty big. The worker was mopping with dirty water right by me. The price was very reasonable but it was all lettuce. Everything tasted like it had triple the lettuce. I ate lunch and 1 hours later was hungry again

Ordered yaki udon off of doordash. One chicken and one shrimp. The dish was just gross, everything was steamed and that's it, no sauce, no flavor. And the shrimp still had their tails on! Very disappointing and not worth $12 each.

The food was good but the service was not that good. I kept calling the waitress to get another Shirley temple but she kept walking by ignoring me, I was speaking clearly that I could hear myself echo. I thought she was going to tend the other people first since they called her but she never came back after. I felt like I was being ignored and I just did not like the experience.

I order from here very often by last time I ordered they gave me cold sweet potato roll and the noodle has hair in it. When I called they were closed next day they gave me new roll but didn't give me a refund for the noodle or didn't give me another noodle and that's disappointinging.

They used to be good but recently I've noticed the food doesn't taste very good and the avocado used in some rolls are brown. I usually get delivery and the delivery driver is terrible! Refusing to come to the door, over an hour late, etc.. I would not order from here again.

This place is extremely rude and they don't care about their customers. The guy who delivered my food first delivered it to the wrong house. Then I asked for contactless delivery but he was right there in my face and when I tipped him he said "that's it ??" He continued to be so rude and when I called the restaurant to talk to a manager about how rude the guy was ... some guy picked up and started yelling at me when I said I only want to speak to the manager I will never buy anything from this restaurant ever again. And I'm complaining about them to better business bureau and I also saw a mouse in their restaurant once but said nothing because I don't want to mess up anyone's business. These is how these people treat you and then play victim

Then called back 3 times finally spoke to a manager (Amy), she said take the food out of your garbage and bring it in..... really ? Could’ve been avoided if u just refunded the money and move forward!

Food was disgusting. Food had a noticeably fishy smell, wasn't easy to chew and the sushi just tasted really bad. Food took forever and I was the only one in the restaurant. I would never go back to this place again!

Beware of bugs in the food! I’ve been ordering from Kumo 1-2 times per week for about a year. Tonight I ordered a bunch of rolls. While eating, I spotted something crawling in my sushi rice. I looked closer and came to find some sort of fly that looked liked a spider with wings on it. I was so grossed out, I called the restaurant to let them know. When I informed the lady there’s a bug in my food she goes you want to bring it back and get a new one? Why would I want a new one after I found that?! Then she kept saying what do you want me to do?! Like uh, I spend so much $ at this place don’t you think the right thing is to refund my money?! Then I said I don’t want anything from you I’m just letting you know there’s a bug in my food she started laughing (probably cause she already knows) and goes I have to tell the chef. I’m never coming back to this place. Her laughter said everything to me. Nasty.

$60 in take out. Was delivered cold and disgusting. Ordered what was on the menu“jumbo basil shrimp” to receive teeny tiny shrimp with the tails left on that were over cooked and tasted like rubber. Seasame chicken was on big glob of chicken with mushy breading. Ice cold dumplings and greasy spring rolls. My daughter ordered sushi rolls that were fine. Supermarket quality. We threw away most of the food. What a waste of food and money. Take pride in your food. How in the world do you send out an order like this ? Thanks for ruining our dinner and basically stealing our money.

Horrible Experience - Avoid This Restaurant, Kumo Sushi. I got food poisoning after taking out food here on Sunday, Dec 8th, in the evening and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. I was violently ill with vomiting and diarrhea for three days straight, and it took me four weeks to fully recover. The thought of going back to this restaurant is unthinkable. I can’t believe a place that serves raw fish could have such poor food safety standards. If you value your health, avoid this place at all costs.
