Order from here 1 to 2 times a week. Everything is great to eat. Owners and workers are very helpful and really nice. We pick up sometimes but usually have it delivered from website/beyond menu. Always have the same person bring us our food and you will get your food very quick. Our favorites are the Orange Chicken dinner combo which includes (your choice on soup/rice) fried rice+wonton soup+eggroll, Chicken Mei Fun and Edamame. Thank you Kung Food!
Idk what people expect. This was normal Chinese food. However I was going to post a 4star rating because they gave me soup spoon for my Mongolian beef with white rice. And there was extra sauce in my plate which is normally oil and unhealthy. But after reading some unfair negative reviews I decided I give them 5star. Anyway the food wasn’t bad, meat could’ve been cooked longer overall I liked what I got for what I paid. I added mushroom and extra rice to Mongolian beef.
Favorites are the Orange Chicken dinner combo, Chicken Mei Fun, egg rolls, all the soups and Edamame. Husband and I order for pick up and delivery weekly and have been for 4 years plus. Owners are very nice, accommodating and will hand deliver your order. You don't get that type of service anywhere these days. Thank you Kung Fu for always taking care of us.
Great service, always very friendly. The food is tasty and well presented, good portions and affordable price. Nice spot to try out!
Tried this spot today for lunch with a coworker. It was great had the seafood pho with a fresh coconut water.
I just left and I will definitely be back I was greeted when I entered the restaurant ordered and was told to have a seat as I waited on my order! OMG the egg roll was so delicious I wish I would’ve ordered more the sweet and sour chicken was moist and the crunch was there! Sauce and soup was so good this is my lunch spot now ❤️
I've been coming here for years. Food is always delicious and fresh. Customer service is excellent. Lunch specials are great value and they're very fast. My only complaint is the fried rice that comes with the combos is a little bland and overcooked. Still, 5 stars from me.

I really enjoyed eating at this location. This a very small Chinese Restaurant located at West Road & Sam Houston Tollway frontage road. The Sweet and Sour Chicken is very good & the serving is plentiful. They also serve the meal with Fried Rice, Wonton Soup, and a Fortune Cookie.

We come here often. Food is delicious and there's lots to choose from. I'm making my way through the menu and everything is great so far. They did forget to include sweet and sour sauce for our egg rolls once. Just check Take Out order before leaving.
Odd name and I likely would not have gone here had I not been pulled along by teammates for a work lunch. I was happily surprised. The lunch menu is expansive, full of delicious options and decent prices. I've been a few times now and tried the chicken and broccoli as well as the chicken and snow peas. On one occasion, a colleague had a beef dish and one had a shrimp dish. No complaints from any of us. Dishes come with the most amazing egg rolls. The soups are pretty good too.

It used to be better before. Now the Mongolian beef was too chewy. The chicken fried rice was already a bit cold and doesn’t have any flavor. No more egg rolls included. The chair is still comfy though and I guess a passable meal

I hate to say this but use to like the food here but no more. People great, fast delivery, but last 2 times food was not edible.. ordered chicken pad thai - the chicken tasted "off" and chewy.. steamed vegetables were ok but just ok... my boyfriend had his "favorite" from this location - Gen Ch. Chicken... and he felt the same... was kinda upset to spend $40 on food we didn't eat..... well that's a lie ..we liked the steamed rice lol... hope they get their groove back...
I’ve eaten here several times and I have found this experience enjoyable. My reviews have been in the past, to warn consumers or be wary of the “potential” incidents that “may” occur. I don’t want all my reviews to be negative. THIS is one that is not. The restaurant appears clean, you are promptly greeted upon entering and the food was freshly prepared and very good. I advise anyone to try the LA “Special” rice which has crawfish, shrimp and sausage. It is very good. The fish is also very good. I cannot give an overall review of the menu as I have not had everything on it. The meals I have tried have been to my liking and I plan to return as I have many times since my initial visit. Great place, enjoy!

Customer service was wonderful. But we couldn't eat the food. It was inedible. The egg rolls were very good out of everything we ordered. I ended up cooking tacos for dinner. I'm from California, maybe we have a different standard for Chinese food. I hate to leave bad reviews, but I have never had horrible Chinese food before this.
I don’t know how this place has so many good reviews. It was not good. The spring roles were absolutely disgusting and the peanut dipping sauce it comes with was gross. The fried rice, orange chicken and general tso chicken I ordered was alright at best. Waste of 50 dollars.
Ordered food for delivery about 9pm the women that took my call said it was no problem even though they close at 9:30. About 5 minutes after I placed my order they called me asking if I would be leaving a tip since they were already counting bills”. I recognized this as a demand for tip since they were about to close and I completely understood. I told them I would tip 15 bucks (which I imagine is great on 30 worth of food). I thought to myself surely with a good tip they will put some care into our order. I was sadly mistaken we ordered General Tsos and Orange Chicken, both of which were dry, cold and the exact same thing! The rice was old and dry and the soup was closer to jello than soup. Kung Food if you don’t want to put in any effort close to closing time just don’t answer the phone. Kung Food is the white belt of all Chinese food and isn’t even worth the horrible diarrhea I’m going to have tomorrow.
Ordered delivery for me and multiple colleagues, the delivery guy had a horrible attitude. I asked him how was his day and he ignored me, didn’t speak at all. Then I was missing my spring rolls I called and they basically said I was lying and refused to give them to us because she was “sure they was put in the bag” I will never ordered here again due to the poor customer service.
The food was terrible. Ordered sweet & sour shrimp and they sent shrimp tempura. The sweet and sour sauce was a watered down store bought version...vey bland with little taste. Also ordered Chicken Lo Mein and it was floating in excessive oil...terrible taste. Would recommend people to buy from Panda Express if they want a half-way descent meal.
We placed a pick-up order by phone for 5 people. We were first excited about the many menu choices and the reasonable "Lunch Special" prices, but our initial excitement wore off fast. Everyone complained that their food was either bland or not good at all. This was the first time ever that fried rice was thrown away in my home and not devoured. I ordered Shrimp with Lobster Sauce and the entree contained imitation lobster meat that was rubbery and tasted like plastic. This was our first time and last time trying this place out. Food was horrible.
I ordered simple broccoli with brown rice. The rice was still hard, not cooked for long at all. $10. Waitress said brown rice is supposed to be crunchy. Really??? In my 55 years, I have never eaten crunchy brown rice. Why would she lie to me? I'm not dumb.
