Layla’s was an awesome experience! Our waitress Emily was extremely attentive and super personable, really enhancing our experience. The food and drinks were very good, with the only downside being the side of coleslaw tasting a tad sour. Great atmosphere with tons of TVs and great music, though rather high volume.

Taylor Maneuvered the bar like a 17th century pirate maneuvered the Deck if their fair ship. She commanded the respect of her crew and treated her fair patrons with the urgency and respect of British royals. If i were to own a business i would hope I could hire a team of 100 Taylors. 5 Stars, Stupendous, incomparable, undeniable, simply… amazing.

Very solid and diverse menu with something for everyone. Don’t miss: Tater tot’s, guacamole and Brussels sprouts for apps. Steak bowl and Cajun pasta. Service was top notch, one thing that bothered me is they have a corporate pour on alcohol. Professional bartenders know how to free poor and the ascetics and value is much higher.

I stopped here after a meeting because I'm in from out of town and needed a place to decompress at the end of the day. Great choice! My server Emily recommended a fantastic cocktail and the grilled chicken sandwich. Both are amazing. Atmosphere is kind of a high-end sports bar but still comfortable and not overpowering loud. Hit the spot!

Such a good vibe in here and awesome food!! Our server Ava was so so sweet and attentive. She was constantly making sure we had everything we need and made sure we never had an empty glass!! Definitely requesting her next time we come back!

Nothing but great things to say about this place. The atmosphere is fun for a sports game, casual evening, and anything in between. Our table ordered various appetizers to split, and the food was great, but the service was even better. Our waitress Callie was attentive, friendly, and very fast with our food/drinks. She made sure we had everything we needed for the full duration of our visit, and I will be sure to go back soon!

Great service and atmosphere! I was here mid afternoon on a weekday but I'm sure it's a fun place to watch sporting events on the weekends. Had the turkey club which was tasty with a little kick, and huge as evidenced by the half I took to go. Will definitely come back!

Our server Julia was attentive and had a fun personality! The food was excellent, large portions, and the cocktails were yum! I had the chicken quesadilla, which was delicious. My friend had the Thai chicken bowl which was also quite good and flavorful. Our cocktails came quickly, were well made and tasty. Highly recommend Layla’s for your next restaurant experience!

In town for a wedding, a group of us wanted to have dinner together the night we arrived in Boston. I called ahead to make a reservation for 10 of us. Some of the people are older, so I called again and asked what we could do since their tables for groups of 10 are high tops with stools. Tim (answered the phone) graciously suggested the restaurant switch out the chairs for us to tall chairs with backs. I called again to put the request in once checking with my group. Again, the restaurant couldn’t be kinder or more accommodating! These chairs were perfect for us! The atmosphere of this restaurant was exactly what we were looking for! It’s a casual, busy place. The table we were at was nice for a group. The service and food were great! The bride showed up with a small group and requested to sit next to us and again the restaurant accommodated us. The atmosphere of the restaurant made it comfortable to get up and visit with everyone between both tables. Being from out of town, this was a fabulous start to the wedding weekend! I recommend Layla’s!

Plenty of seating and very open space. I arrived at early beginning of dinner and was promptly greeted by Kelsey at my booth. She was attentive and enthusiastic in the simplest way which is exactly what I need after a long day. The menu offered a lot of items that appealed to me but I chose the Cajun chicken rigatoni. The meal did not disappoint and was very generous in portion. The sauce was delicious and had the kick it needed but not in an extra sense, just right. I almost see myself ordering it again. Definitely look forward to visiting again (when more awake) and next time I’m in the area.

Great little place in Southie! Busy place on a beautiful March day. Was so psyched about the Reuben rolls. They were delicious! Enjoyed my chicken sandwich and side salad. Had the March special Irish old-fashion, tasty treat.

One of the best spicy chicken sandwiches I ever had. Absolutely delicious!! The espresso martini was good too. However, the service was severely lacking. It took 15 min plus for beer to come to the table every time. Same with everything else, including paying.

Went Saturday for brunch restaurant was not full. Food was good the caprese sandwich did not have tomatoes it was melted cheese with pesto and a tomato spread. It was mostly bread. The appetizers and rest of food was good the drinks were also good. Southie Boston area. Clean and nice bar with multiple TVs. Should be a great place to watch sports.

The food is okay, honestly pricey for what it is. The service was good. I got the mac n cheese with additional pulled pork and when we first got it, the amount of pulled pork they put was so small. I had to say something to our server because it was an additional fee so one would think that the serving size would be a decent size but it was like 2 chunks which was ridiculous. The manager mended this very quickly and he was so nice about it. Got the thai chicken bowl as well and the chicken was well marinated but the entree was dry - no sauce or anything. I’d probably try a lot of other places before coming back here to eat. It’s a good place to get a drink though!

The pasta tastes like canned chicken, over cooked pasta and gross sausage. Just not appetizing. I seriously couldn’t get over the canned chicken taste. I’m not sure why this place has a 4.8. For people who actually want good food- this place is a solid 1.7. I give it that because the servers were nice, cups were clean.
